We were blown away from the moment we arrived - outstanding service.

but when I arrived we were given gorgeous prosecco, freshly baked scones and cakes (the scones were still warm), and plenty of sweet treats!

We had request early check in and navina give us a room.

Checked out of the Montcalm Marble Arch today, it’s safe to say that my wife and I will 100% be returning. We checked our luggage in early and they even offered to accommodate us checking in earlier than anticipated, we opted not to and explored London (the hotel’s great location allows for walking to a lot of main attractions!)

We’re provided a welcome Prosecco on arrival, staff were very welcoming, even helped us find a club still open late hours.

We arrived here and we been welcomed with a nice breakfast,after that we spend couple of hours into the spa area ,and Andreea there she made sure that everything was perfect for both of us and she provide as an amazing customer experience.

She really helped us from the day we arrived.

I had a really good experience, especially with Damyana
she was very polite and sweet and make everything simple, the room was lovely and clean and very spacious, the food was delicious and all staff members were polite and always checked up on you.

Every aspect of our stay was truly excellent from check in to check out.

I stay Montcalm with my friends coming from Dubai , customer service was excellent specially Jade from reception she help me on check in check out.

That evening as we left a couple were checking in and we heard them being given a complimentary upgrade –

On arrival we were upgraded to a junior suite to make my birthday extra special.

I stay in montcalm by myself this time for business and Jade was very helpful from arrival to departure.

From the moment we arrived to the hotel the day before our wedding to our departure, everything and everyone was lovely.

Both bathrooms were stunning and very clean.

There was water hose in the bathroom which was wonderful.

Comfortable, opulent lobby; spacious, luxurious bedroom - plenty of storage, make up area, power shower, good quality linen and towels.

The location will change your business trip to holidays.The room itself was spotlessly clean, had a truly excellent bathroom, and the bed was amazingly comfortable.

Overall, the hotel was enjoyable with a comfortable stay and night's sleep being in such a central location this made planning and walking around very easy to coordinate, bathrooms too were very pleasing to see a very lavish interior and newly refurbished to a high standard, all hallways and the lobby too so this added to the vibe.

The suite was so nice really spacious with two bathrooms and Elemis compliments in the bathrooms!!

The room was furnished well and the bathroom spaces were lovely.

Be sure to get the bathrobe out of the cupboard as they are dreamily comfy.

Nevertheless, as mentioned, the standard of bathroom facilities in the junior suite made up for this.

On top of the first-class service, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the bath/shower was incredible!!

I choose Montcalm for celebrate my 30th birthday and it was very nice stay I got surprised with a massive surprise done from Jade and Edmund from reception which work and made this surprise very special for us.

As we mentioned it was my wife’s birthday, the staff really went above and beyond, they upgraded us to the Quebec Suite which was incredible!

I made a booking for one night for my mum's birthday at The Montcalm Hotel in Marble Arch.

The trip for my daughter’s 21st birthday was transformed by the team at reception who really turned things around .. and more than making up for our initial disappointment.

Visited for my 40th birthday and booked Montcalm Marble Arch due to the excellent reviews and we were not disappointed.

At the end of the meal to my surprise the staff came out again signing happy birthday and another cake I was blown away by their kindness also must not forget the chef who did us a very enjoyable meal.

As well as a room upgrade we also got Prosecco and cake as we were celebrating my birthday.

Unfortunately the Montcalm has become so poor in service, we can no longer stay here.

Very poor communication with guest experience executive.

What we didn’t expect was the poor state of the rooms.

Pub type red zig zag carpet which had seen better days, fluorescent red chairs, a tacky four poster bed with mirrors (poor mirrors) overhead and an Anne Summers style porn film feel to the whole room.

The room was worse for wear, drab, poor lighting, dreary furniture, an unmade bed and air conditioning that hardly worked.

The first was blighted by a poor breakfast experience at the neighbouring hotel so we were keen to see if there had been improvements.

Water pressure in showers also seemed rather poor for some reason.

This is a bland business hotel completely lacking in character, and in a poor state of decor.

but the rooms are exceptionally small and the service is very poor.

Room was not a 5* room with shabby furniture some of which was broken, there was a constant smell in the room which actually got nauseating.

The finishing around the shower was disgusting and more 2 star than 5 star.

Smoke and alcohol prevented us from staying long.

Hallway smelt of a combination of cigs and dusty carpet.

Just to name a few examples:
- The bathroom tap was rotting off the wall
- The sides of the beds were peeling 
- On the last day, there was a poo stain on one of the towels. Legit.

but was given a milk in our room that stunk because it was off and lumpy however a lovely man from housekeeping came and gave me fresh milks  ,Bad scrapes on the bed but apart from that it’s a good hotel

It was old, dirty, complete with half eaten rotten fruit from the previous guests and smelt.

Workout room fairly small 
Some areas had a cigarette smell

Rooms pokey and overlooking where the staff take their breaks (cue more cigarette smoke - smelly).

even though I was there with my son and he despite smoking he never complained about smelling anything throughout the hotel.

but we found a pack of leftover bacon (opened) in the mini bar fridge and it caused bad smell, then we got changed to another room.

I could go on about the rough towels, filthy water glasses, broken iron, and off-brand bathroom toiletries

Just a fabulous experience - thanks so much everyone.

I came with my family as a recommendation of friends in Dubai and i left very happy rooms are nice and comfortable and staff is amazing

Bathrooms are clean and heating system fantastic.

The room was really pretty and the bathroom was really clean, the food was really good

I like that there was an iron available in the room without having to ask and the shower was good pressure.

I asked for a double room near the lift with walk in shower.

I wish I remembered everyone’s names from the receptionists to the Porter bringing toothpaste at midnight!

The bathroom was good and the air-conditioning was terrific!

The bathroom also spotless and modern which we loved.

We found check in qick and easy, the room was great for our needs (although no bath) breakfast was good value and stress free.

Ideal as a base for central London, huge room with all facilities needed to ensure a comfy stay.

I’m happy our stay here in executive lounge especially Emily she made me comfortable and tell me everything an out the longe she treat me friendly and respect excellent service.

I has visited London and I stay at Thistle Marble Arch Hotel with my family.We spent beautiful days in the center of London.We was in the best area of shopping.Spacious ,comfortable and cleans rooms.Here we met Samir who was very kind and promptly when we has some requests with whom I also had a very interesting discussion about culture and history.We will  return with pleasure in this hotel.

The rooms were really comfortable, clean and spacious.

The bed was comfortable, good facilities like steamer, hairdryer, minibar, coffee machine was there.

The hotel was comfortable to be in and it was enjoyable.

Rooms are big and clean with comfortable beds and location is a bonus.

although there is only an escalator or stairs from the entrance to the lobby.

The elevator might stop if many guests are in it so be careful.

Pmease fix it and put some parfum in the hotel elevator smell.

There is a slight issue with the escalators in the entrance which make quite a lot of noise which is a bit unpleasant.

Noisy escalator, poor housekeeping need improvement in cleanliness and carpet cleaning.

There is a small issue with the elevator where it takes a little too long to arrive because of how many people waiting for it.

On arriving at the Amba hotel we were disappointed to see the restaurant and bar closed (Covid) with the only indication of a full meal being room service (sign in lift and menu in room).

There is only one guest lift between the reception floor and exit / entrance floor and this was out of order for our stay.

Mickaela (not sure of the spelling) was very profesional,  helpful and also kind when asked to print some papers .Everyone was wearing masks and sanitizers were provided around the loby/ lifts.

Elevators are still a challenge in this hotel.

Elevators a bit crowded during peak hours meaning you have to wait quite long.

The escalator at the entrance was not working and the lifts are also extremely busy, you wait quite a while.

The same cleaning issue was also on the entrance towards the stairs to the lobby, around the elevators, you could see papers, tissues and other junk while walking.

It's even worse when one of the elevators goes down during check out!

In other hotels (even Premier Inns) we have been used to swiping our key card at the lifts.

Make sure that you leave time to get to and from your room - there are insufficient lifts for the size of the hotel and you will wait for sometime to get to and from your floor.

One snag is the Elevators location which were “trapped” in the southern corner that is far away either from the rooms situated at the end or/ diagonally opposite some 60 meters or/ more away.

Bad reciption attitud.. ++ elevators toooo slow.

A member of staff offered to have our luggage taken to the room and, on our last day, as we were waiting for the lift, the same offer was repeated.

Love the hotel, friendly stuf, large and clean executive rooms.

I enjoy the service as Samir from the house keeping department is so friendly and helpful and make sure that our room is clean which is a big concern to me due to Covid days (thanks Samir 😁) ..
