We booked with British Airways for a good price and booked a superior land view room, now I know we had a chance of being in the Sea building and overlooking the road,

There are some issues on Facebook groups lately among British guests about the insurance - we just booked it and had a nice day - just enjoy!

although only lasted for a couple of hours after we went to what was a beautiful beach- to be reminded that we had our own stunning blue flag beach back at the hotel so didn’t hang about ;) The Greek drivers are a bit more crazy than the British, so drive with confidence and mind the pot holes.

It is easy to feel awkward when being served by staff and I, being British am not used to the level of attentiveness,

We booked through British Airways and as soon as we arrived at the airport we had our taxi waiting for us which was a luxurious car.

The doctor opposite the sky building on the other side of the road, John Yannopapas at the British Sugery of Corfu, was absolutely wonderful and couldn’t do enough for us.

Ikos is perfect choice if you are looking for a hotel with combination of all inclusive and menu restaurants and vila type accomodation in Europe,

It’s so nice being in an all inclusive where they have such a good selection of international drinks… Corona, Provence rose, disaronno  amaretto to name a few.

We have been to Dubai several times and this hotel matches and even surpasses the best ultra all inclusive hotels there, it’s that good.

All non-motorized sport is included in the all inclusive.

Overall it was the best all inclusive we have ever been to and would definitely go back.

This is a great hotel and the all inclusive regime here is outstanding.

From Mr.Spanos the general manager to Apostolos Mintiouris the guest relations manager on hand 24/7 Not to mention the waiters at the seven, some Michelin star rated restaurants and fantastic service guaranteed with this Ikos Dassia holiday, all inclusive, not one euro to pay for anything the entire holiday.

I wouldn’t normally go all inclusive as usually the food/service isn’t very good and it’s repetitive

Ikos was definitely a step above for an all inclusive resort.

As the culinary landscape evolves within all-inclusive resorts, the role of the Executive Chef becomes more compelling.

We stayed for 10 days and have to say all inclusive has never really been our thing

It really is all inclusive and generously so.

This hotel is amazing, when they say all inclusive they really mean it.

If you want all inclusive at its best this is the place to come.

Such a lovely touch eating a la carte in an all inclusive resort .The restaurants are all managed really professional and the food was high quality, fresh and beautifully presented.

All inclusive was ok & nice not to have to wear a wristband, quality of wine wasn’t amazing,

We also took full advantage of the free shuttle service to and from Corfu town and enjoyed the dining out experience at Agora as part of the AI.

We have stayed in a number of all inclusive hotels and this resort truly took the all inclusive concept to a new level with an extensive wine list and impressive food served in every restaurant.

As an "all-inclusive" resort, Ikos Dassia was great.

This was a sort of added extra holiday booked quite late

Thank you for a lovely stay at the resort  it was a fantastic family holiday and we appreciate the time and work you and the staff go to in providing this experience.

This was our 2nd visit to Dassia and our 9th IKOS holiday.

This meant that we lost enjoyment of half of our holiday.

We had previously stayed at the Ikos Aria so we had booked up again with Ikos as soon as we came back from holiday as we had such a great experience (5 star+).

People - keep hold of the ones we mentioned as they save you I'm sure from worse customer reviews

 

Although these are predominately my views some of the comments around service and the general wear and tear of the resort were reflected in conversations with other guests we met whilst on holiday

 
Overall

Referring back to the original statement "A World of Unconditional Luxury".

but they all went out of their way to make it a memorable holiday for us and are a credit to the company.

We also visited IKOS Aria 2 years ago and again had a wonderful holiday.

This holiday has changed my mind and I cannot wait to rebook.

We stayed at The Dassia in October 2022 and could not fault the holiday at all and we gave it a 5* Rating.

I had a really special holiday and I know you will to if you give it a try.

We had a brilliant holiday at the IKOS Dassia, fab hotel and wonderful staff.

I would usually travel to the Caribbean for a luxury beach break,

He went above and beyond for us, and made our holiday unforgettable.

When we arrived on Sunday, there were a lot of families with children staying at the Resort, which was not an issue, as there were plenty of places for adults only,

There were enough adult only areas for us to enjoy and it was out of school holidays so not too many children.

We love Dassia so much that this time we treated our children and their partners so it was a truly memorable stay.

Jet2 staff were amazing and we had to off board, miss the flight and visit the airports dr. Baby had congestion on her lungs as well as some other things going on.

I travelled with my family (2 adults and 2 young kids) and stayed in a Panaromic Junior suite in July 2023.

It was sorted in the morning by my daughter

There is an excellent mix of quiet areas for couples travellling together whilst ensuring there are plenty of fun filled and busy activities to do for children, mams, dad's and grandparents.

Highly recommend the Wonderfin swimming lessons; Philippos is an exceptional instructor, great with kids and really excites children for playing in the water and learning to swim

but we saw families and children having a good time with inflatables.

We came with our 2 children aged 1 and 3 it was our first visit to Dassia.

The jewel in the crown was Esmeralda, a stunning Greek girl with a big smile, this girl was on it!

We appreciate the childcare provided by the kids club.

There are plenty of pools and activities for the children.

but those flavours aren’t going to appeal to all children.

If you have kids, there is plenty of things to enjoy, there are more than welcome in any restaurant,

The weather at the end of September was perfect (80F or upper 20C and sunny) with very little children.

A big thank you to Denisa Luca, who helped us move room to suit our needs and helped our daughter  and her fiance who arrived later in the holiday have a lovely room in the same building we were.

Ive attended almost every show at the theatre either with my grandchildren or with my wife and I’ve never seen or heard of any more professional, enjoyable holiday shows ever.

My only reservation regarding Ikos Dassia, is that there were simply too many little children !!

free water sports (Canoe, SUP, pedalo), wine tasting, sunset cruise, free entrance to museums (the old fortress in Kerkyra) and great music in the evening (especially thanks to the Ricci project for making us dance).

It is a great way to spend a day shopping, going to several museums or just walking around and having a coffee.

but with Corfu town a 25 minute, complimentary shuttle away, with its quaint streets and Venetian architecture, museums and galleries it's worth breaking out for.

Free shuttle bus to Corfu town and free entry to some museums a bonus.

All the attentive staff at the pool, the beach, the restaurants make this place special.

The swimming pools were excellent and the service was good

but the first day around the kids pool and splash park outside the Sea building.

The accommodation was amazing, we had a deluxe bungalow with private pool, not that it was needed as there were lots of pools to choose from

Our deluxe bungalow with private pool was truly 5 star and the room service ( for those very lazy days) was efficient and speedy.

These are minor and by no means lessened our experience… the property throughout is spotless, stacks of sun loungers on the beach and around the various pools.

We had a wonderful time at Ikos Dassia, enjoying the hotels very friendly staff, great restaurants, very clean hotel, great gardening, beach and pools.

The hotel is immaculate, has fantastic family facilities at both Sea and Sky buildings with additional adults only pools at both and an adults only section of the beautiful Sandy beach, which is also kept immaculate and is swept every night too.

The staff were brilliant, friendly, attentive 
The facilities were excellent (even on a rainy day the spa was hardly full at all)

The resort is generally beautiful; a great selection of pools and plenty of space on the beach too.

This was a lovely and well maintained pool.

Kassiana who never stopped around the pool, made sure nobody was ever without a drink and always had a smile and happy approach.

We met Yannick the king of the pool making sure you had the best spot for the day!

The pool bungalows are comfortable and well equipped.

Eva - at the adult pool bar (sky building) keeping us hydrated with lots of cocktails.

ALL the team were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, after the first day the pool guy had our towels waiting at the same sunbeds every day and when we did not go down to the pool one day he noticed!

but the gloss was taken off it with the poor Deluxe experience and the indifferent concierge service.

The towels themselves were in poor condition and many of them were stained despite the fact they would have been washed.

This is too late to eat in my opinion and I think the reason for our poor experience in Anaya.

The only negative we had was the checkin experience which I can only describe as poor and totally unexpected due to having read previous reviews.

Quality of towels was poor and there were regular missing items.

There is poor communication on website on how to even reach someone to be able to get things booked and the app isn’t always updated.

- beach lounging options were limited and poor.

We had one of the  standard double room with an inland view, It was very small in both the bedroom and the bathroom, we just felt for the amount you pay to stay & the reputation of the hotel it was quite poor.

- the rooms to the front of the site are a real issue, when we arrived we had a room above reception and facing the road, I had the worst nights sleep in years, I sleep in probably 70 hotels a year and the sound proofing is poor which meant every scooter beep and passing car horn (into the early hours).

The towel service around the pool was poor.

but frustratingly I had to head off back to the room to clean everything as he was not quite trained well enough as at any other 5 star you would expect them to offer to launder the wine drenched clothes/bag, check the electricals were ok, offer to replace anything that wasn’t etc etc, so basically we had many little blips but that’s NOT the issues it’s how it’s then dealt with at the time and we don’t want every time to have to deal with managers, raise issues when it makes us so uncomfortable and pestering our poor concierge with said issues when they shouldn’t be happening at all or could/should have been dealt with at the time.

but it was very poor, with other guests also commenting too.

all inclusive hotels sometimes have poor food options, not IKOS, whether it was the buffet restaurant flavours or any of the multiple a la carte restaurants the quality was superb.

Only thing that could be improved is the entertainment at the Teatre which was quite poor.

The TV's in the room have a poor choice of channels, and this meant that when weather meant we had limited options for what to do - we couldn't settle down for a movie night in the room.

The thought of over-crowded beaches, poor food and service always put us off.

Restaurants are exceptionally good aside from Flavours which we found disappointing and actually quite poor at dinner - only used it once in the evening due to a mix up with restaurant reservations, it's great for a buffet breakfast.

We had lovely food, fresh hummous, bread and other delights from the Restaurant.

The food - brilliant in all the a la cartes except the Grill.

Food was sublime every evening and the staff were all professional and friendly at all times.

The beach, the resort, the food and drinks were all on par with London standards.

The wine tasting experience was a delight and the supply of wine at dinner was always on point.

We used virtually all of the a la cartes and the food and service were generally excellent,

Shockingly divas after a few amazing cocktails which we did work our way through!

It was very clear that she was very hesitant to blame Ikos for causing food poisoning.

When we booked the Ikos Aria we were able to book a different restaurant at 7.30pm every night, in advance.

We did the eat out option at the fish restaurant and the food was lovely

however have meals in the Corfu restaurant Kerkyra and the grill house.

The restaurants are all fantastic, and the food is truly delicious.

The several resteraunts that are available on site are staffed with very professional  young people, who were so polite and considerate.

Food was brilliant, swimming and crèche of a very high standard.

We are in most of the restaurants, all were very good.

The earliest we were able to eat all week was at 2100, not a huge problem for us,

One thing I would advise is get the App and book the three restaurants you can before you arrive.

The warm welcome, smiles and genuine desire to make your stay as pleasurable as possible was consistent with the other Ikos Resort that we had stayed at in Halkadiki, Greece, Ikos Olivia.

but in the evening there was live music in the bars and the staff were entertaining in themselves.

We were greeted by Anastasia Sukretna who looked after us so well last year and she was such a pleasure to be around and treated us so so well.

The hotel kindly upgraded us in order to move us, fine, lovely.

Upon arrival we were checked in by our concierge who told us that

Thank you for your kindness and hospitality throughout and apologies for the nightly order of cheesy chips with houmous!

Other guests at the hotel were also ill. A couple that we met with their young son told us that he had vomited multiple times in the reception area of the hotel and another family that we met around the resort told us that their child and nanny also had food poisoning.

although we already have a booking for Ikos Porto Petro - keeping my fingers crossed they have enough staff and restaurant availability.

but they were very happy when needing her assistance with the results.

I also would like to give special recognition to staff in Kerkyra - Chrisa and George mainly… and chef Andreas in Ouzo and everyone working in bar at sky reception.

The staff were very attentive and helpful the resort is beautiful

The performers are professionally trained performers and it shows.

A huge thank you to Ariadni and all the team at Dassia, we’ll definitely see you very soon!

All the staff are welcoming and professional in what they do and always have a smile on their faces.

We were greeted by Aria, our personal concierge who throughout our stay kept in touch and ensured that all of our needs were addressed and organised.

Challenge was we struggled to get into restaurants early and concierge service wasn’t as good as previous customer experience.

It was also so nice to spend some quality with our charming British friends Phillip and Katherine.

The hotel provides a delightful all you can eat breakfast with huge selections including British options (as we struggled to find this in most of the hotels we stayed in Thailand so it came as a nice surprise!).

Plenty of Tours are available,  snorkeling, diving, Tsunami Museum, Water falls, Old town, James Bond Island, Monkey Temple. .

This is where the Tsunami took place and interesting to see the Museum and hear the tragic stories that took place.

Also the tsunami museum (which is a very little shop) and boat are all nearby.

We used the bus into town a few times to go shopping , check out the markets and visit the Tsunami Museum.

The town nearby has a busy market and a few kilometres down the road is the tsunami museum complete with washed up Navy boat & look for the beautiful waterfalls that you can trek to in the nearby national park.

We hired bikes and rode to the closest village which had a market and the tsunami museum.

I have the direct pool access room, gorgeous.

The restaurants, spa, pool, gym and bars are great.

The winding pool is massive, and the grounds are maintained with impeccable quality.

They would totally love the canals and pools.

We can't wait to try out their new salt water pool and play facilities opening in late September/October.

The grounds are lovely, the 2 klms if flowing pool channels are great to walk around everyday.

The pool , the beach and the kids zone are great!!

The highlight of the stay would obviously be the 1.9km pool, where we spent most of our days enjoying during the week.

The pool is undoubably a highlight of the hotel as you can literally swim around the whole resort.

In addition to the pools, the gardens, the lawn and the beach, I was also extremely impressed by the lemongrass scent that already filled the room when I entered it and the French press that came with ground coffee.

The pool access rooms are wonderful, relaxing clean and very spacious.

Love to stay at marriott hotels..being gold elite member got an upgrade to pool access room.the pool is huge.beautiful resort and friendly staff.travelled with a baby and got baby cot and bottle steriliser.the breakfast is ok and could be better.too many flies.the weather was not that good..raining and cold so couldn't do outdoor activities.the Italian BBq buffet was amazing and tasty..must try..thank you for this memorable stay.

I recommend this resort to anyone with or without children, they cater perfectly for both – my only advice being, children of any age who don’t have water safety smarts / can’t swim, will need extra close monitoring around the extensive pool and beach areas .

The huge and interconnected pool is an incredible offer, and the direct beach access likewise.

Hotel itself is beautiful with longest swimming pool around hotel, Breakfast had many of choices and beautiful view from the restaurant.

Our kids loved it with such a big pool with slides and a water bubble fountain.

They're spacious, 2 cupboards, all the amenities you'd expect at a 5 star resort, and then direct access to an amazing lagoon pool - measuring 1.9km - the largest in South East Asia.

We upgraded to a pool room- well worth the extra money as we swam out every day.

Breakfast was fine and the Italian restaurant was excellent.

We also want to thank Pla, the manager of the Italian restaurant Olive, and of course all her staff who made our experience better. Now I have to save money and come back next year :)

The breakfast is very good and the Italian restaurant in the hotel is great!

Pooh, Tong, Sorn, James and Jay C, our Waterfront Restaurant waiting staff.

We had a Thai cooking lesson with a fantastic chef which made it a very memorable occasion and wonderful food.

As big fans of Italian and Indian food, Chef Enzo and Chef Mohan were just magnificent.

We are kosher observant people who eat vegetarian abroad.

We really enjoyed the crispy chicken burger from the food truck,

There was only one buffet dinner during the week we were there

I have been keeping my end of the bargain, by visiting the resort as often as time and money allow and by dining at the resort's bars and restaurants as much as I can afford, and I hope to remain your loyal customer for a long time to come.

Very awesome breakfasts and good Japanese, and Italian food.

The Saturday night Italian BBQ is a must .Freshfood imported from Italy.

The breakfast buffet is enormous and very, very good, and the hotel has several fine restaurants -

Coffee at Deli is soooooo good it’s boosting my day.

They went out of their way to prepare dishes that my 6 year old daughter couldn't stop eating.

Without realize, i found that not only the food is great

Most importantly, I would like to mention the staff who are all so friendly and attentive.

The staff at the Waterfront restaurant couldn't be nicer or more obliging, also at the Infinitti bar.

We were especially delighted to know and see many familiar staff, again not an easy feat after the difficulties of the past 2+ years.

Olive would certainly be the standout in terms of food quality and presentation.

They were extremely accomodating with this.

The staff are so nice, Chef Enzo is so passionate about his food he came up with something different for us to try every night.
