Everything perfect with the room and bathroom, we slept well and enjoyed the breakfast.

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant that was very delicious and the continental breakfast we had in the morning was quite lovely.

I ordered room service for a late-night dinner and breakfast and the food was prompt and delicious.

although I would again like to point out the great service provided by Lucia in the restaurant, during the breakfast service.

The location on the gardens is so close to the Underground, British Museum, and healthy walks to Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden for theatre shows.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and well stationed and their library and garden room such a delight to relax in.

From Afternoon Tea, to the Leopard Bar, to dinner, and to the lovely breakfast every morning, the level of service and the food was outstanding.

The staff at breakfast were a delight – friendly, chatty and service-orientated.

Beyond the breakfast, the hotel team were always at hand to help around and answer any questions we might have.

We ordered a few cocktails and a plate of fish and chips to share - all were delicious.

Dined there once for breakfast & once for dinner.

The customer service was first class, our room and bed amazingly comfortable and a delicious first class breakfast.

Next morning down for breakfast, incredible choice and again good friendly service.

We took our dog Charlie with us and I have to say it is one of the best dog friendly hotels we have ever stayed in.

We took our dog with us, choosing this hotel specifically because of that, they are brilliantly dog friendly.

We spent a couple of hours in the bar on the first evening and the girl who was serving our drinks was so very friendly (and very happy to see the dogs we were travelling with).

We would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, especially if you have a dog, as we do.

Stayed here with my wife and 2 dogs, and we all loved it.

Montague on the gardens, we will be back with our children and dog.

There are two large parks near the hotel and the largest of them, Russell Square, seemed popular with dog walkers and joggers - and the latter can creep up on you so it’s worth turning your head once in a while!

I was also cooked the best doggie breakfast in the world by the chef which was served to me by a lovely lady My staff say that most hotels who say they are dog friendly only mean they are 'dog tolerant'

I would really recommend this hotel to not only for people with pets

The restaurant and bar staff were equally wonderful’ so friendly and welcoming!

Reception team fantastic,  room delightful,  complementary bottle of champagne courtesy of the manager Dirk, room service after the concert was amazing too.

The dinner menu was original and the food excellent.

Bloomsbury is really a gem of an area - short walk to so many attractions and restaurants.

The salmon skewers were beautifully cooked and all the other canapes were filling and really tasty.

The restaurant and the afternoon tea in the garden are very nicely presented.

Visited the Montague on the garden hotel for an afternoon tea yesterday with my wife.We had an excellent time .The service bad staff was absolutely wonderful and mead the day so amazing.The mango fusion tea is dream to savour.As we arrived ,we were greeted with a wonderful smile and you couldn’t ask anymore from the staff.Everything is as expected and we are definitely be going back .Next time it would be for an evening meal .Well done to all the staff that works at the hotel and for making the day unforgettable.

The concierge was very helpful in directing us to several wonderful "non-touristy" pubs for dinner and we could not have been happier with his suggestions.

We enjoyed very much talking with Lucia in the Restaurant and Georgia at the Front Desk, ably assisted by Neil, Jorge and Animbola.

We had breakfast every morning in the main room , they had a very nice variety of food.

Yes, the room was small as one might expect in Central London,

The room is small like other British hotels and all rooms have different interiors and decoration, if you prefer those shown in the website and platform, better request for that and the hotel is very accommodating.

), our rooms were very small (probably different than the nice photos uploaded here), no fridge in the room so no place to keep cool water or stuff, and no handheld shower head in the bathroom (which to me is annoying if I'm not looking to wash my hair, only body).

However, in all my many years of traveling I have never been accommodated in such a tiny room: there wasn't even room for me to leave my suitcase open.

If we had stayed longer, I think the tiny room would have felt cramped.

The work out room is very small with only three pieces of equipment (elliptical, bike and treadmill)

I asked right away to remedy the situation and received a flat out no on noticing the tiny room,

Our standard room was small for four nights, next time I’d upgrade,

The rooms are small and there are hallways with twists and turns.

I requested early checkin and was given a small room to use until my regular room was ready.

The staff at the hotel are so welcoming and helpful, particularly the bar staff who made great recommendations- thank you.

They have wonderful, warm and inviting staff.

Head Concierge Mustafa was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable—helping us before we arrived and again upon arrival with great information and expert assistance.

Around the corner from The British Museum, this lovely hotel is in the heart of Bloomsbury.

It is also located right across the street from the British Museum, a must see site in London.

It's perfect for a visit to the British Museum, literally 5 minutes walk to the main entrance.

The Montegue on the Garden is a wonderful boutique Hotel across the street from The British Museum in London.

The location was also great being close to Covent Garden, the West End and of course the British Museum.

The hotel is well located--a 5 minute walk from the Russell Square tube station in one direction and a 10-minute walk from the Tottenham Court Road tube station in the other direction and more or less directly across the street from the British Museum.

This lovely Hotel is situated next door to The British Museum, so close you can almost touch it.

The guest rooms and public spaces are lovely and the location in Bloomsbury around the corner from the British Museum is convenient yet on a quiet garden.

We arrived early, so dropped our bags off and headed out for lunch and a look around the British Museum, which is right around the corner.

The hotel is close to the British Museum, restaurants and public transit.

We also really enjoyed the location near the British Museum and the Picadilly Line.

Again we went to the British Museum, rode the tubes and enjoyed London from our lovely hotel.

The location is steps from the British Museum.

Its location is very good, close to the British Museum and the underground is just a short walk away.

The Montague Hótel is a gem in Bloomsbury, close to the British Museum.

It is adjacent to the British Museum which is a must see.

Hotel is centrally located right next to the British Museum.

Just a ten minute walk to Shaftesbury Avenue for our theatre visit, and the hotel is just behind the British Museum so worth a visit there too.

Love being close to covent garden - would like to see more luxury hotels in this area.

Great hotel the room was really nice and big the bed is very confortable and we loved the location close to Covent Garden, we received wonderful recommendations from the concierge for museums and plays and they even got us the tickets, great breakfast and a bar you must visit .

The hotel is in a great location, close to Covent Garden and the centre of London, making it a great base from which to explore the city.

A great oasis in London, so near Covent Garden.

The location was walking distance to Covent Garden for some shopping.

Friendly staff, good service, great location within walking distance of Covent Garden.

Location was convenient with Holborn tube stop 2 minute walk away with 2 main subway lines, Covent Garden within walking distance.

Walkable to Covent Garden/ Leicester Square and to all the theatre.

Rosewood is a spectacular hotel in heart of london, just walking distance from Covent garden.

Located within walking distance to Covent Garden and the River Thames, this beautifully appointed hotel has spacious, well-appointed rooms.

It is close to Covent Garden and some theatres as well as the business areas.

Excellent reception and helpful staff in general, beautiful deco and convenient location near Covent Garden and the Courts.

The Holborn restaurant is a lively chatty place, the outside area is tranquil & calm whilst the mirror room is quiet & very elegant.The hotel location is great as it is very near to Covent Garden.

The hotel is so beautiful, stylish with an incredible attention to detail and ideally located close to Covent Garden and Theatreland.

We also enjoyed the Holborn Dining room again for breakfast and dinner, as in 2020 delicious food and partially very nice waiters auch as Andrea.

Shane Cox in the Mirror Room, Lionel Paez in In Room Dining, Adrian in Scarfes Bar and Desmond from T&C went above and beyond to take care of me and my guest.

They also have a phenomenal amount of Gins to choose from at the bar and the Holborn Dining room.

Great food in the Holborn Dining Room and exceptional breakfast….so yummy.

Special mention to Joanne in the Holborn Dining Room what a star member of the Rosewood team she is.

The Holborn Dining room and Scarfes Bar were brilliant and looking forward to returning in the Summer.

Loved how accommodating the restaurants and bars within the hotel were to guests given how busy they are in general sorting tables within minutes, both scarfes bar and Holborn dining room I’ll review separately

Excellent breakfast included in the dining room, which wasn't otherwise patronised.

From the moment we arrived everyone made us feel very special and made sure we had a table reserved in Scarfes for pre dinner drinks and in The Holborn Dining Room after for dinner with our friends after.

Holborn Dining Room produced one of the best steaks I've had in a long time and Scarfes was amazing as always.

My rate included breakfast at the Holborn Dining room and was of a high quality.

Food was superb in the Holborn dining room and the bar opposite had a wonderful atmosphere (and cocktails -  far too many consumed I fear)

Fabulous night and lovely breakfast to end our stay.

The experience was phenomenal and the staff were so assisting at all times - whether it be COVID testing, in room dining, assistance with fragile luggage with preparation leaving, transportation around London, assistance with protocols for arriving and departing, etc.

Had a really nice dinner at the Holborn Dining room and finished of the night at Scarfs which was a great bar and again great service.

The food in the Holborn dining room was divine and they massively cater for little ones.

The pies from Callum and his team in Holborn Dining Room are also worth all the hype they receive.

The Atmosphere of the holborn dining room in the morning was outstanding, as well as the breakfast!

Holborn Dining Room - Howay was our breakfast host and was super attentive, warm and professional but also such a wonderful individual to get to know.

We had dinner at the Holborn Dinning room and of course had to try their signature Pies which didn’t disappoint.

The hotel interior design was nice and most of staff were generally warm and professional.

Did a staycation package and we were so impressed by Rosewood, the décor and interior is fantastic, service is so on point.

The interior is meticulously designed with eye catching art and blousy flower arrangements.

The hotel's architecture and interior design are truly stunning, there are numerous spaces that just make you go wow - from the driving through the wrought iron gates and into courtyard on arrival to the grand marble staircase and artwork adorning the walls throughout the hotel.

Particularly impressed with the interior decor.

There is also a trendy british brasserie as part of the hotel called Holborn Dining Room serving a great selection of wines and British dishes and grills, then next to it a whiskey bar called Scarfes with a mix of interior styles and great cocktails.

I could not wait to stay at the Rosewood based on the pictures on the website as the architecture and interior design looked amazing.

The interior is stunning, modern as well as elegant.

It has a stunning exterior and the interior matches it, the décor is superb.

The interior courtyard/parking area is dramatic at night with a fire pit and lanterns - it sets a very cool mood for the stylish lobby.

Great interior design, vibe and the most unique and creative cocktail menu I’ve ever seen.

Our room was very smart and functional, not perhaps the most overwhelming interior

The interior of the whole hotel from the lobby, restaurant to the room is fascinating and for me that makes the stay all that much better.

The hotel building and interior is beautifully designed and the attention to detail is incredible.

Easily one of the best 5* hotels in the world and they are very dog friendly!

We chose Rosewood because they are dog friendly and because we like Scarfes bar!.

All the staff fussed over the dogs (even when they jumped up on them - they can get excited initially).

He got a lot of attention and was made to feel at home in his large comfy dog bed in the room.

but most of all I loved seeing the dog that greeted the guests .

Rosewood is the first truly luxury hotel our dog has been made to feel properly welcome.

You can sit in the reception/lobby area with your dog or outside in the courtyard pop up.

Although we took a moment to pamper the hotel dog.

especially Dipty and Emiliano        
i love all the artwork and the lobby dog.

We will definitely stay again and hope to see more of the resident dog on our next visit.

Impeccable service and facilities, and of course the house dog (customer relationship ambassador).

It has it all, superb building, great service, amazing restaurants and a resident Dog.

It has very homey feeling with great attention to detail and it's own pet - golden retriever Pearl.

Only odd things were that the iron and board are not in room (needed to call for delivery to room) and any hairdryers/Curling irons needed to be plugged into bedside area as bathroom doesn't support voltage (but I notice typical of some UK hotels), not a big deal for us.

I asked that turndown service be done in my child’s bedroom at 8pm at the latest on 3 different occasions and each night I had to call housekeeping and ask someone to come.

We had to call housekeeping and request they bring new towels, etc.

They consistently told me that they would reset the router and call me back.

Unprompted, she did note that we had been upgraded to a suite and informed us that she would give us a call when the room had been made ready.

Two weeks beforehand I got a call saying there was a private event, and our reservation for the tea was now cancelled.

However, a phone call to tell us it had been dealt with and ask us if we were now able to enjoy our room in peace didn’t happen.

It's not restful at breakfast, on a Monday morning it seemed to be the go to place for working breakfasts with laptops and mobiles etc.

however not always competent or helpful - we were woken up by drilling and when calling we were first told we‘re just imagining it?!

The phone didn’t work the whole time we were there, sheets had stains and overall it was a mess.

This is both numerically incorrect and not what I was told previously on the phone.

Got off to a poor start with lack of turn down service the first nite and having to call for cleaning of the room the second day.

As he was driving me to the airport on Tuesday Oct the 1st, I got a call where I was notified my flight had been canceled and I would only fly until the next day .

Had to call three times to get the room made up at 6:30 PM.

On our second day, we received a call asking why we hadn't checked out.

I could not call bell boy more than 30 minutes after 3 rd call.

My only recommendation for the hotel would be to have more USB outlets for phone charges/Ipads etc.

_ 3 calls to get an ironing board that was requested as part of the pre arrival form..additional hangers again follow up calls were required.

So late at night we had to call for fresh towels and water.

after a number of calls to them and my card provider.

Breakfast this time was included in our rate and it was the worst aspect of our stay.

although the room was already fully paid for the time period that was booked, they took  insurance money saying it will be refund 6-7 days after checking out , it is now almost a month I have not receive any refund or a reply email still waiting for an answer!

Would have expected more considering the price.

Unfortunately there are three things that seriously distract from this hotel:
1) The price for each room is about 3x what it should be.

Why would this be added on and not included in the room rate (nor even previously mentioned)?

The food and drinks were first rate, the music from the band was splendid (we really liked the band) and to top it off, the hotel put on a private firework display at midnight for all the hotel guests to see (safely) in the forecourt.

One criticism was the bar, very noisy, plus the drinks prices were excessive, even allowing for it being a 5☆ central London hotel.

We felt for the price of the room, some more snacks and some fruit should be complimentary in your room, and there was no decaf tea.

Unfortunately the quality of the room and service in the Rosewood is very far from deserving it's price.

Five star prices come with five star expectations and dated properties and curt service can often sour the experience.

Rooms could could be a little better for the price paid.

Checkout was difficult - when we came to pay we were told breakfast and lunch had been added to our bill.

Not sure if I would come back, after all is an expensive hotel therefore the expectations should full field .

As part of our package we were given a voucher to use at Scarfes bar, had it not have been for our voucher the evening there would have been rather pricey

The solution offered was (overpriced) room service - not really a solution for breakfast meetings!

Centrally located to Regent Street, the Thames, theatres and The British Museum, the Rosewood London is a must-stay hotel!

The British Museum is within a walking distance.

For a culture hit, the British Museum is just around the corner, as is Lincoln’s Inn Fields – London’s oldest, and largest square.

The location couldn’t be better; a stones throw from the British museum and short walk into Covent Garden and Soho, and right next to the Holborn tube stop.

It’s also walking distance from the British museum which we plan to go to to
Tomorrow.

The hotels is in a great location with easy underground access, a short walk to the British Museum, the theatre district and Covent Garden.

All of our needs were met and is a beautiful hotel very close to the British museum.

This was a father day afternoon tea before going on to the Rodin exhibition in the British Museum.
