Blake recommended a great restaurant British pub great food.

There is an excellent British pub on the east side of Harbison back near the Walmart and movie theatre.

Very nice lobby with English Pub feel ( even has a British red phone box!

In addition to being clean, friendly,  well located with a free breakfast, exercise area, this motel has a nice outdoor fire pit area with seating for eating or just hanging out.

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is clean and well managed and the staff including manager are outstanding.

Our room was clean and had all the touches that make a room nice…a little coffee pot, blackout curtains, microwave and an oversized fridge (instead of the little square box).

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was decent.

Our digital key didn't work, so we just had to go through the front door to get a key card and into the hotel.

Cost a little more then we are usually charged.

I was initially charged an additional $20 , then again was charged an additional $184.

He never greeted me or spoke to me when I went to pay incidental charges  He had been rude to me the previous week also When I ask what the problem was he literally rolled his eyes like a disrespectful teenager.

Maybe a portion of the pet fee charged by the hotel could be rebated to customers inconvenienced by the furry creatures.

We think this charge should be eliminated, no other hotel does this.

Very good except for having been charged twice in our visa at amounts that weren't even our room rate, we are still waiting for this to be corrected onto our Visa card we were charged on November 20, this is now the 22 nd we feel this correction should have been done by now,  FYI we paid cash for our hotel stay

They reduced the price of the rooms to accommodate the hurricane victims when need would allow them to charge more.

And they didn't charge exorbitant pet fees/deposits to have our dogs with us.

Check out the over charge on your payment that not explain.

I got a $15 gift card to a restaurant because of a phone call from the front desk to me that came in late meant for another room and it woke me up.

(If there is any damage from the dog, there is a charge).

There is no extra charge for your furry family member.

In addition, they do not charge extra for the pet.

I made the reservation by phone, reserving 2 rooms adjacent , or at least close together for ourselves and my daughter and grandkids joining us from Raleigh , and under my credit card for both rooms.

There was no additional charge for having our dog.

but there was no additional charge for pets so the rate was competitive.

The second night we stayed in the room until we left just to find out the Elevators were locked down and there were Handy Cap people going down the stairs without ANY Hotel personal help or the fire Departments help?????

At one point I just stopped asking and began to take towels out of their baskets they would leave at the elevator while servicing the rooms during the day.

However, the halls are crazy narrow, the main laundry is right in the main hall to the elevators and my bathroom ceiling paint was all flaming off.

There was constantly spilled drinks in the elevators and dog vomit in our hall that was never cleaned.

There was poop in the elevator and in the hallway.

Rooms were quiet …… until the 3:30am fire alarm  After we were allowed to return to our rooms we were told the elevators did not work and alarm was due to faulty wiring.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars except that one of the elevators is broken, the hotel wasn’t a 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, more like a 9 AND the breakfast was not stocked to keep up with the large amounts of guests for that particular day.

The dog was very large because he was coming out of the elevator and tried to sniff me when I went down to get coffee.we will never stay here again.

The only problem was only one elevator was working and sometimes the wait was alittle long.

Then a not so happy ankle bite and his/her pit bull buddy coming off elevator (no issue, just idiots with ill-mannered vermin should realize we all aren't happy to see their animal).

Only quibbles were that we checked in on the app ahead of time and the top floor room we picked wasn’t available on check-in and the elevator was not clean and there was a beer bottle on the floor outside the elevator on our floor the entire time we were there.

Received a room on 6th floor and when coming out of elevator we saw a dog running up and down the hallway with owner chasing dog to get back to room two doors from our room.

She has never been in a hotel situation before, let alone ridden an elevator up and down.

Digital check in only offered rooms next to the elevator so I listened to the elevator all night.

but did not appreciate running into dogs in the elevator, around the lobby, the grounds etc.

Elevators were slow, I stayed on the top floor and had to wait often.

I did notice every time  I got off the elevator I smelled smoke then as I got closer to the rooms I got a strong smell of cleaner.

There was a lingering smell of smoke on the 2nd floor halls - someone had been smoking on their trip to the elevator.

Stayed on a trip from Beafort to go to the museum, one of the best Hamptons i have ever stayed in.

Great location, Very pet friendly walk paths to nearby lake.

There is a very nice walking path all around the lake.

Adjacent to beautiful lakes, wonderful walking path.

Hotel itself was located next to a nice little lake with a walking path and gazebo.

There is a walking path for you and your dog to walk.

The outdoor space included poop bags and a really nice, well-kept walking path that goes around a lake.

It has a great walking path around the lake.

They had a lovely walking path around a lake that was full of ducks.

One great feature is that the property backs on a small lake with a path all around it.

Behind the Inn is a beautiful walking path that circles a large pond.

Fine walk on the 1.6 mile path around the forested lake.

The lake behind the hotel with walking path was just wonderful to walk with our dog.

Outdoor kitchen near the pool with couches and a TV, Nice paved pool area with plenty of chairs, a walking path that goes around a lake next door for exercising.

It is  pet friendly, nicely appointed, and had beautiful grounds with a walking path around the lake which made it a superior property.

A welcome surprise to have decent walking paths.

Property was close to a lake with nature paths, and also offered complimentary bikes.

We also appreciated the lovely lake with the walking path at the back of the lake.

We were assigned room 201 which was convenient for us staying with our dogs, the room was right at the stairwell and we had easy access to take our dogs out and also easy access to breakfast.

We also like the fact that this hotel is very pet friendly!

I have a service dog, and the kitchen staff in the morning watched me like a hawk,

It’s overlooks a lake and walking trail which is great if you have dogs.

This hotel was clean, friendly and had a great location for anyone traveling with a their dog.

Very safe and dog friendly  The staff really like to see everyone’s pets and make you feel welcome each time you walk in the lobby.

It’s also very dog friendly and convenient to local restaurants, retail malls and grocery stores such as Publix.

Hotel was dog friendly with a walking trail with a lake.

It’s a pet friendly hotel, which is a big plus.

Even our dog was greeted with a smile and a kind word every time we encountered a staff member.

There is a cute lake right behind the property with walking trails which was great for the dog.

but for us British they were more than adequate.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay that I would highly recommend  The only downside was the lack of shelves for you bathroom toiletries -

but there were some rooms "sponsored" across the hall with spectacular bathroom upgrades and lovely antique furniture.

They are renovating the rooms I guess; mine - reserved indirectly - was quite spartan and with a MINUSCULE bathroom (you could not sit on the toilet unless the door was closed….

The bathroom was very small and accessing the toilet could be problematic for large people.

My only complaint is the soap and shampoo provided need to be a bit more soapy.

That was balanced by cracks in ceiling, no refrigerator, almost non-existent WIFI, outdated plumbing, inoperative ice machine, closed on-site restaurant, small shower and no ground floor rooms.

The soap, shampoo, etc were in dispensers, except there was no shampoo and the rest were hard to get out.

Bathroom door looked like it had been attacked with a weed eater around the bottom edges.

Our room and bathroom were small and tired looking.

This is a really old hotel so do not expect large bedrooms or bathrooms.

The fan in the bathroom was operated by  the light switch and was quite noisy.

The valve in the shower gave us some issue and the ring on the door know for the bathroom needs some screws.

The bathroom door was a bit scuffed though.

however, was exceptionally tight and some people might have a lot of difficulty using the toilet due to the very limited space between it and the basin.

The rooms are also in keeping; small (for the US), with simple décor, small (for the US) beds, small bathrooms (come to that, small bathtubs.

The Boulder Dam Inn is a nice historic hotel if you can overlook some of the issues/ quirks that are inherent in an old hotel: small rooms, small bathrooms, thin walls.

Went up to the room and spent almost 30 minutes under the hot shower trying to loosen up my back and legs.

The rooms have character, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms small.

Great restaurants to walk to  go to coffee cup for breakfast and ts cantina for dinner.

Breakfast was huge and individually cooked.

The breakfast /lunch restaurant in the hotel offered a salad bar and aside from other dishes also great omlettes.

I didn’t get to try breakfast as I had to leave early.

They have a restaurant for breakfast and lunch.

Because we stayed at the Boulder City Hotel, we could walk to supper and have breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

but food is great , I had both breakfast and lunch here.

In the morning, we each had a prepared to order breakfast that was fabulous.

Wonderful Staff - convenient location - loved the front lobby - happy that the downstairs lounge was open - food is terrific - your room comes with a free full breakfast - hotel has a small art gallery and a free film on the building of the Hover Dam

Truly enjoyed our stay at the historic Boulder Dam Hotel.

The two rooms we had - 203 and the more spacious 205 were fabulous, decorated with simple charm and subtle historical references.

On are way to a Winter Getaway in Arizona, we stayed at the Boulder Dam Hotel, we had a great stay , the hotel was excellent, room was very good, the hotel itself is fabulous wonderful historic place and lots of history pertaining to the boulder dam itself.

The hotel is a historical building and well kept.

It was built to support the building of the Hoover Dam so it is quite historic.

Boulder City historic district is charming and the Boulder Dam Hotel is one of the reasons.

Many good restaurants and antique shops within walking distance.

Beautiful historic hotel, very clean, I love the attention to detail of the historic decor.

Check in staff was very accommodating, with  suggestions for dinner, walking tour of the historic area,.

A wonderful, historic hotel to complement your stay in the hidden gem that is Boulder City.

My husband and I stayed at this historic gem October 8, 9, and 10.

Breakfast was free, and guests can choose from about 10 items, made to order.

Also the included breakfast was unbeatable, definitely not what you would expect for a free breakfast!

The staff is very helpful, the rooms clean, the bed is marvelous & who could possibly complain about the complementary breakfast

Full Breakfast was complimentary, delicious and plentiful, in a beautiful old dining room.

The breakfast was included which was a plus.

A nice breakfast is included with the room and cookies and lemonade in the evening.

It's very nice--much nicer than the nearby modern and nondescript motels--and the included breakfast is a bonus.

The 'in house' Hoover Dam museum is great.

The free museum was a great bonus to our stay.

The hotel have a nice museum on its 1st floor and that is Free.

There was also an interesting museum in the hotel regarding the building of the Hoover Dam.

There is a museum on site focusing on the construction of Hoover Dam.

They have a museum inside that was the bomb - you don't have to stay there to visit it, which we thought was very nice.

The hotel has a museum covering the building of the Hoover Dam, an Art Gallery with works available for purchase, and a really neat bar called Cleveland's Speakeasy.

but seriously enjoyed the museum which has artifacts from the building of the dam and the lives of the people who built it despite intense difficulty and hardship.

Self guided and free (donation only) museum downstairs had very informative information about the building of the dam and the town.

Great breakfast; lovely lobby; building with a long history; very friendly staff; beautiful Christmas tree; very interesting museum and great pictures of the hotel from early 1900s; highly recommend; beautiful Christmas lights everywhere

I liked the history associated with the hotel and their museum was very interesting.. Great location also for visiting the Hoover Dam.

The museum, which is located in the hotel, was so informative.

Having enjoyed the museum, we felt very knowledgeable about going to see Hoover Dam.

We are locals, just getting out of the house for a night (much to both dogs dismay).

It was a wonderful place to stay, not a chain (a pet peeve of mine).

Our receptionist checked everyone in with, " Happy to have you here! No smoking, no pets, no partyin' like a rock star!"

They were very accommodating with my service dog.

Bathroom was tiny, no place for toiletries.
