Everything perfect with the room and bathroom, we slept well and enjoyed the breakfast.

We had dinner in the hotel restaurant that was very delicious and the continental breakfast we had in the morning was quite lovely.

I ordered room service for a late-night dinner and breakfast and the food was prompt and delicious.

although I would again like to point out the great service provided by Lucia in the restaurant, during the breakfast service.

The location on the gardens is so close to the Underground, British Museum, and healthy walks to Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden for theatre shows.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and well stationed and their library and garden room such a delight to relax in.

The staff at breakfast were a delight – friendly, chatty and service-orientated.

Beyond the breakfast, the hotel team were always at hand to help around and answer any questions we might have.

We ordered a few cocktails and a plate of fish and chips to share - all were delicious.

Dined there once for breakfast & once for dinner.

The customer service was first class, our room and bed amazingly comfortable and a delicious first class breakfast.

Next morning down for breakfast, incredible choice and again good friendly service.

Also, whoever is their trainer in hospitality, this person deserves a raise---incredible work has been done to make the guests feel like they matter and are welcome!

My stay was great, the staff from the moment I arrived to the moment I left were the jewel in the Montague's crown. The facilities were fabulous, I booked a single room and the bed was almost too comfortable (I very reluctantly got up in the morning!)

Whilst the rooms are quite small, which is usual for most hotels in central London, the facilities are very good.

Tea and coffee making facilities really appreciated on arrival in the room and lovely homemade biscuits.

From the moment you check-in, you're treated like VIP's, whether it's a tour around the hotels' facilities on arrival through to having complementary cookies delivered by room service, you are made to feel valued and special.

Absolutely loved this hotel, we spent a weekend there and the facilities and staff were brilliant.

Bottled water is provided as are coffee/tea making facilities.

but they're well equipped, comfortable and clean.

The room was equipped with water and biscuits and these were replenished in the evening.

With excellent facilities, attentive staff and fine dining, this added up to a memorable stay which I can't wait to repeat.

The tour of the facilities on check in was a nice touch and every person we had dealings with was a delight.

The salmon skewers were beautifully cooked and all the other canapes were filling and really tasty.

Visited the Montague on the garden hotel for an afternoon tea yesterday with my wife.We had an excellent time .The service bad staff was absolutely wonderful and mead the day so amazing.The mango fusion tea is dream to savour.As we arrived ,we were greeted with a wonderful smile and you couldn’t ask anymore from the staff.Everything is as expected and we are definitely be going back .Next time it would be for an evening meal .Well done to all the staff that works at the hotel and for making the day unforgettable.

The concierge was very helpful in directing us to several wonderful "non-touristy" pubs for dinner and we could not have been happier with his suggestions.

We enjoyed very much talking with Lucia in the Restaurant and Georgia at the Front Desk, ably assisted by Neil, Jorge and Animbola.

We had breakfast every morning in the main room , they had a very nice variety of food.

Yes, the room was small as one might expect in Central London,

The room is small like other British hotels and all rooms have different interiors and decoration, if you prefer those shown in the website and platform, better request for that and the hotel is very accommodating.

), our rooms were very small (probably different than the nice photos uploaded here), no fridge in the room so no place to keep cool water or stuff, and no handheld shower head in the bathroom (which to me is annoying if I'm not looking to wash my hair, only body).

However, in all my many years of traveling I have never been accommodated in such a tiny room: there wasn't even room for me to leave my suitcase open.

If we had stayed longer, I think the tiny room would have felt cramped.

The work out room is very small with only three pieces of equipment (elliptical, bike and treadmill)

I asked right away to remedy the situation and received a flat out no on noticing the tiny room,

Our standard room was small for four nights, next time I’d upgrade,

The rooms are small and there are hallways with twists and turns.

I requested early checkin and was given a small room to use until my regular room was ready.

Around the corner from The British Museum, this lovely hotel is in the heart of Bloomsbury.

It is also located right across the street from the British Museum, a must see site in London.

It's perfect for a visit to the British Museum, literally 5 minutes walk to the main entrance.

The Montegue on the Garden is a wonderful boutique Hotel across the street from The British Museum in London.

The location was also great being close to Covent Garden, the West End and of course the British Museum.

The hotel is well located--a 5 minute walk from the Russell Square tube station in one direction and a 10-minute walk from the Tottenham Court Road tube station in the other direction and more or less directly across the street from the British Museum.

This lovely Hotel is situated next door to The British Museum, so close you can almost touch it.

The guest rooms and public spaces are lovely and the location in Bloomsbury around the corner from the British Museum is convenient yet on a quiet garden.

We arrived early, so dropped our bags off and headed out for lunch and a look around the British Museum, which is right around the corner.

The hotel is close to the British Museum, restaurants and public transit.

We also really enjoyed the location near the British Museum and the Picadilly Line.

Again we went to the British Museum, rode the tubes and enjoyed London from our lovely hotel.

The location is steps from the British Museum.

Its location is very good, close to the British Museum and the underground is just a short walk away.

The Montague Hótel is a gem in Bloomsbury, close to the British Museum.

It is adjacent to the British Museum which is a must see.

Hotel is centrally located right next to the British Museum.

Just a ten minute walk to Shaftesbury Avenue for our theatre visit, and the hotel is just behind the British Museum so worth a visit there too.

Front desk sent up a small desk fan to try to counter the stifling heat and humidity.

but I did wonder how in summer heat the rooms would be, and without air con more of an autumn/winter choice perhaps.

(Americans, take note - there is no air conditioning in this hotel, as it is seldom needed in London. Windows in the rooms open!)

The room was hot without air conditioning, or a fan.

The rooms also come with no air conditioning which is fine

Taking a shower made the room unbearably hot as there was no proper ventilation.

but the double bad was too small not very comfortable   the TV proved to complicated to operate there was no air conditioning so a fan was supplied.

but it was so hot we could barely sleep at all because there isn’t any air conditioning.

I requested a room on the first floor and a fan in the room and got both.

One of the hottest days of the year, no air con in the room and window restrictors.

The only problem we encountered was there was no aircon.

but we asked for a quiet room which was confirmed as granted on check in We were placed on 1st floor above kitchen with noisy extractor fan and cooking smells 24 hour per day.

Last room we had to stay overnight in was extremely hot as there was no air conditioning, having the window open made no difference and the noise of the outside generators made it impossible for us to sleep.

He also delivered a fan personally to our room because it was hot since there is no AC in the room.

Only down side was the room was pretty hot with not AC.

Room lovely, bathroom a bit tired looking and needs upgrading with an extractor fan added.

The location is excellent, with British Museum close by and Russell Square underground station a couple of minutes walk away.

London central addresses are just a few minutes away with the tube or walk to British Museum.

The hotel is in a good location in terms of access to both the City and West End as well as British Museum and Covent Garden.

Breakfast excellent.

The rooms are very comfortable, clean and well equipped and the staff helpful and Knowledgable.

Though a 3 star it punches above its weight in terms of customer service and comfort.

The room was equipped with triple glazing which isolated any noise from outside very efficiently.

Initially very pleased with the twin room booked as a theatre package deal, the room was very clean and had the expected facilities

but clean rooms, good beds, small but ell equipped bathrooms, lovely English breakfast available.

We were allowed to use an early check in facility at no extra charge for which we were very grateful, and following check out our luggage was kept safe till needed that evening before leaving for the train.

but comfortable for a couple, and well equipped .

although didn’t stay at the hotel, we used the hotel bar and facilities.

we always stay here when we visit London, its a great budget hotel , its well priced ---not too expensive by London prices, rooms are spacious , clean and well presented with tea and coffee facilities, its just a 2min walk from the underground ,

I barely hear any sound from neighboring rooms.

Overnight was quite enough with no notable disturbances.

Noisy at night outside window, horrible twin beds when asked for double.

The room was noisy, the walls seemed to be paper thin.

I have taken a video of the room to get an indication as to the level of the sound.

The taps are clunky, noisy and the shower curtain sticks to you in the shower.

Position and noise, we should have been advised.

however, someone in the room next door having some sort of bronchitis attack or something and the constant cough was a) loud and b)  stomach churning.

The shower gel if you call it that also  screwed on the wall ..I wanted a bath so to get to the shower gel and shampoo you have to stand up then sit back down to wash your body or hair no good for people with disabilities so please take your own I forgot mine like a fool 
So if you don't want to sleep due to the noise outside and want a rubbish to no sleep stay here .

Walls are paper thin and you can hear the conversations and TVs of people several rooms away.

Maintenance need to fit soft closes in the door as all night you hear doors slamming 
The corridors and carpets need a revamp likewise bedrooms 

BREAKFAST - Excellent choice of food

Only down side is a lot of rooms have not got a very nice view as they face onto the backs of other hotels and are quite noisy as well.

There is no air conditioning and opening the window is not an option due to road noise.

I am unsure of the window quality, in England it can often be low, and then there can be noise.

but walls are thin so the snoring and voices from next door was very easy to hear.

The landing areas are a bit shabby and could do with a spruce up, there was also rubbish on the landings.

The President Hotel, located very near to Russell Square and to its Tube station, is a good base for visiting London.

but booked it as it was a good price and  the right sort of location (near Russell Square) in an area of London I knew well.

stayed here 1 night whilst having a theatre trip

located very close to Russell square on the Piccadilly line and within a 10-15 min walk to soho, china town, Leicester square and the west end.

Close to Russell Square underground station - very convenient if arriving at Heathrow Airport.

Being on the edge of Russell Square you are very near a tube station and there always seems to be a taxi on hand.

It is also walking distance from Russell Square and Holborn Underground Stops.

The atrium bar had a lovely ambience with live jazz by Ralph Lewars, a lovely surprise.

The Atrium bar was very relaxing and a great place to chill out during a busy day tube jumping, Russell Square tube station is a 2 minute walk.

We had a nice drink in the atrium bar before going for our included 3course dinner.

The Atrium bar downstairs also very nice to sit and have a quiet drink.

but is also a pleasant stroll to Covent Garden,   we took advantage of the evening meal which is part of a two night minimum  stay, the Atrium bar is a great place to relax and have a pre or post dinner drink --- and prices are again we think not the usual expensive London prices, yes we'll  be back

Particularly liked the atrium which was art deck style and the drinks were reasonably priced.

but fine and the Atrium Bar is a pleasant place for coffee or a drink

The nightly rate was excellent for its location.

The Atrium lounge and bar was a very attractive place to unwind in the evening.

The Atrium bar is still pleasant of an evening, with pianist and crooner. .

1, tried to take a coffee in the Atrium on arrival.

The bar prices were very realistic and service in the Atrium bar/ lounge was really very good.
