This left me stranded without a functioning phone or any means to access my electronic funds.

Our cell phone was having trouble and we had to use our room phone to make a domestic call - I don’t mind being charged if the call connects,

set up w a regular size tub because that’s all they had to offer even with the full upgrade charge.

Front desk had problems answering simple billing questions and awful at directions.

Meeting room, key card, elevator and serving staff issues.

AND they still charged me the full valet rate and I have yet to hear about any results of the investigation.

The hotel price for Cincinnati was way beyond a reasonable room charge and the room was nothing to write home about (or to write a favorable review).

However, I was charged $660 for the entire mini bar,

By the way, they don't charge you an arm and a leg like other hotels for room service.

The low rating is because 21c advertises itself as a luxury hotel (and charges like one)

One improvement: Kill-all light switch turns off strips where charging devices are plugged in.

Cons: The room was VERY small for the over $200/night charge - you are paying for the 'privilege' to sleep in a museum/art gallery.

After my debit card was complete i only recieved $112.

At check in, I was immediately overcharged and staff initially could not tell me why.

They didn't have the room available that we booked, so they upgraded us to a suite at no charge ( and had a rollaway bed in the room before we got in the room).

but no guest enjoys the state of limbo you feel when you aren't exactly sure what the problem is – a rate difference, hotel overbooked, some ploy to charge you more - so, what is it, already?

I have got my credit card company involved and have actually had to file a dispute against the charge.

but it seemed like a trust fund hipster's folly.

but got charged for a 2nd night more than the first night for checking out at 2pm instead of noon.

Take the time to look at the art, even if you do not know anything about it, you can appreciate the work.

I stayed a whole week so feel I got a good sense of the place — overall had a good experience. Pros:

The art and style of 21c’s is fantastic.

I loved the artwork inside and how unique the entire building was.

A lot of thought went into the interior design here, and I can tell.

Hotel is very clean, Kure fish at attached to the hotel on the first floor,  beautiful decor throughout, comfy beds, and Nespresso machine in the room is a nice touch.

I would highly recommend staying at the 21c museum hotel, the rooms are large and comfortable and the art in the hotel is beautiful.

The ambiance of 21c is amazing along with the art exhibit.

The public spaces are quirky and fun, with many examples of contemporary art.

The artwork at the hotel is absolutely top notch.

Rooftop lounge is a must with great views of downtown Cincinnati

The room was very nice and clean with a view of downtown from the 8th floor.

One of the best part of the hotel is their roof top bar overlooking downtown Cincinnati where you can enjoy a drink or two until midnight.

They also have a good rooftop bar that has a good view out over the downtown of Cincinnati,.

Were able to walk around Cincinnati and see the lighting of the Christmas tree on Fountain Square and see the fireworks.

The hotel is situated in a nice spot (right next to Fountain Square) in Cincinnati.

On "Connector" Route (for OTR), walking distance to Fountain Square, shopping and dining (Sotto, our favorite is a "pitching wedge away!").

The size of the hotel makes for a more intimate experience, and the location is perfect for walking in a variety of directions downtown--to the riverfront, to OTR, to Fountain Square, to the CAC (NEXT DOOR!

This hotel is also close to many bars and restaurants within short walking distance (Jeff Ruby’s), Fountain Square and Great American ballpark.

21C is a fabulous facility, centrally located in downtown Cincinnati and within walking distance of great restaurants and Fountain Square.

Same goes for Fountain Square, Over The Rhine, and most places you'd like to go.

We stayed at 21c to celebrate New Year's downtown on Fountain Square,

Just around the corner from Fountain Square and only a short walk down to the river.

Walkable proximity to downtown fountain square, the riverfront park, OTR, stadiums, restaurants, and public transit is awesome.

Hotel is located near theaters and several museums, plus Fountain Square and an easy walking distance to the riverfront.

Location was ideal right on the Streetcar line and very close to Fountain Square and easy access to riverfront.

The location is great for the banks or OTR and next to Fountain Square.

The hotel was situated well enough that we didn't have to walk more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we needed to go - Fountain Square was around the corner as was fantastic Mediterranean place Istanbul Cafe, Macy's was a few steps away, the Riverfront Park was probably the longest walk at 15'ish minutes.

Centrally located within walking distance of fantastic restaurants (a few block north on Vine St.), bars, Fountain Square (with live entertainment and drinks), and the river.

Just 2 blocks from Fountain Square and a few more blocks to The Banks and Riverfront walk - great if you want a beautiful view of the river and the city and also for families with kids who are looking for a park where the kids can run around.

We've always stayed in the Fountain Square area until we found 21c, this will be our go-to Hotel from here on.

Fountain Square, the Aronoff, Nada, Ivy Lounge, Jeff Ruby's just to name a few.

The location was great as the hotel is directly across the street from the Aronoff Center, a very short walk from some of the most popular restaurants in Cincinnati (Jeff Ruby's, Nada, Boca, and Sotto), and a short walk from Fountain Square.

The museum concept was really cool and the free curated tour (with a free drink included) was a nice touch.

Very Good.. We enjoyed our stay and the art of the hotel museum.

We vacationed in Cincy to view the museums and city sights and thought what a novel way to see contemporary art in the hotel itself!

but walked to museums and restaurants in the area during our stay.

Having the fabulous restaurant and museum right there was a huge plus as well.

The hotel is an adaptive reuse of a historic building with an art museum on the ground floor by local artist.

but most importantly hit the bar, restaurant and the museum.

You will never want to stay at a  hotel that DOESN'T have a museum attached ever again in life.

We enjoyed wondering through the museum part of the hotel and the location of the hotel was great.

I love the unique vibe of the hotel with the Museum on the first couple of floors - just enough to get all the feels!

Loved that there's a restaurant, bar, spa, gym AND museum all under one roof!

(And I’m just assuming Covid is why so much is closed and/or unavailable)

21C Spa is closed, their Restaurant for breakfast is closed, the Rooftop bar is closed.

Now, add to this a wonderful spa, a restaurant and staff that I have not stopped thinking about, and top it off with a cool rooftop bar.

The rooftop bar was very nice and offered a good view.

The roof top bar was enjoyable and the we at at the restaurant which was great.

After settling into our room, we went to the rooftop bar and enjoyed some nice cocktails and took in the sights and sounds of downtown Cincinnati.

but there is a very cool bar on the rooftop that has a lovely view!!!

Walked the museum, visited the rooftop bar for a drink and had room service, all of which were wonderful.

Staff friendly and rooftop bar was amazing.

No spa services available despite having a spa and inquiring a week before the stay for a weekday massage - maybe the spa isn’t as staffed since Covid?

For facial service which was highly enjoyable.

Spa was by far my favorite thing about this hotel.

He got a couple of spa treatments, we had dinner at Metropole, and walked around the city.

We had a couples massage in the spa which was fantastic!

but nice to know there was a spa and exercise room available.

We visited the spa for a couple's massage and had a wonderful experience!

I had a facial and the spa was very nice.

Spa, rooftop for cocktails, dinner at Metropole and then back to my spacious comfortable room.

This time i was able to experience the spa (Massage and facial) and it was amazing and made my stay even more special.

Francisco was literally the best hotel receptionist I’ve ever encountered with.

Even as we walked to our room from the elevator, I noticed how visibly dirty and unkept the walls and hallways were.

But with small rooms and a terrible view of wall (with what we were told was a two category upgrade), we expected better attention to detail for the money we paid.

No lotion, just shampoo, shower gel and conditioner hanging in refillable pumps on the wall.

Getting off the elevator on the 6th floor, the walls were all scuffed up from years of suitcases.

The view was terrible facing a wall and the room was very dirty.

but we had no view to speak of as it looked out into a brick wall.

Walls were scuffed up, carpet was smelly, and the whole place just seemed dirty and outdated.

Air conditioning did not work in the room, bathtub/shower was clogged, scuff marks and hand prints on the walls.

The art on the walls is amazing and the gallery on the second floor was nothing short of a small art museum type experience.

light festival so when many others left (we had seen it for 3 nights running) we looked closely at the art on all the walls in Metropole–impressive.

The rooms have to be stepped up from the white walls.

Towel rod fell off the wall, corridors that make one feel they've entered some institution, a room espresso machine noisy as a lawn tiller, and a simply silly front desk arrangement.

Simply put we needed a room with two queen beds, a bath tub for our kids to bathe in and wished for a view of something other than a wall.

Unfortunately, the 21C gave us a view of a brick wall.

For the price, I expect a room that doesn't feel as "used" (scratches on the walls, drawers that won't close, etc).

By British standards the Dallas April weather felt like summer

The bathtub was slippery with no rubber bathmat provided.

There was no lotion in the bottle, which appears no housekeeping service.

Waters in the shower didn’t stay hot long.

The bathrooms are private, not made of glass, and provides total privacy.

If you want to take the shampoo or such they will charge you $100 plus tax (Austin Fairmont is half of this)

The amount of my bill was not the same as what I had reserved online and they can’t explain why.

The bathroom door was warped with peeling paint and wallpaper peeling off the wall above the toilet.

but very dated particularly the bathroom.

Upon arrival, my room was missing a number of things, including hand soap, room service breakfast menus and others.

Had to ask for twice for Accor Platinum Welcome Amenity and drink coupons.

I found a huge bug in my bathroom , thr bathroom still had hair from a previous guest and the TV did not work correctly.

A man overheard my complaints and stopped me as I walked away stating that his room was the same, dusty with no shower gel.

Bathroom is small which was only knock against.

Toiletries were empty in our room—air conditioner struggled to keep up in the Dallas heat.

Beds and pillows are hards, sheets are rough, shower and shower curtain was dirty.

The outlet was not secured, the shower curtain was stained, the tiles were broken.

VERY small bathroom for a 4.5 star hotel.

The kleenex, towels, coffee and sugar weren't replenished daily.

but the mirror had toothpaste splatters on it from another guest which I purposely left to see if they would be cleaned during my 3 night stay, but it remained and not cleaned.

We were charged a 22% tip on our takeout dinner, and one of the dinners was incorrect.

I was asked to pay cash to retrieve my car and then also charged for parking on my credit card on file—scam !!

If you want to charge your phone, you have to bring your own box.

however, this transaction was a fixed amount and looks like theft, perhaps internal.

How did they miss that before charging us?

We’ve now had to cancel our credit card and dispute it with them.

No coffee maker in the room, a charge for Wifi (really?!

Thank you so much for your commitment and passion, you should be in charge of customer experience management.

They were kind enough to bring mini-fridges to the room at no charge for the things we like to keep on hand.

The hotel is outdated, the toilet in our room wouldn't even flush, the shower barely turned on and made weird noises, the room was as hot as a furnace, the cocktails were disgusting and overly priced, the pool was "closed" when we arrived and we couldn't use it during our stay, and we were wrongfully charged twice for our room in which it took us more than a month to get refunded.

Had to move things around and was charged for drinks I didn't take.

Not luxury, not personalized attention, just “meh.” Nickel and dime for extra charges.

but beware; if you order online and pick up at store you will be double billed--for online order and instore pickup.

There isn't a clock in the room and not enough charging ports.

At check out was charged for parking 2x (despite it being including in rate) and upgrade I was told complementary

but found it very inconvenient that debit cards were not accepted by ATM - no way to tip the Bellman/valet - I often travel with ZERO cash - and hotel had no way to advance petty cash and place on bill

Great service at Check in ( did not officially check out) Was told upon booking that each room had a 50$ food/bev credit.

The view of the downtown lights was beautiful.

We had a room on the 24th floor and had a wonderful view of downtown all lit up at night.

The south tower and the South view of downtown are the best rooms.

My room is cool and comfortable, with an amazing view of Downtown Dallas.

This hotel has a great restaurant, great staff, and awesome views of Downtown Dallas.

My room was on the top floor, overlooking Downtown lights and the Pegasus on a drizzly day.

The location is good as well and offers nice views of downtown.

Was disappointed to discover the awesome rooftop pool and huge terrace space with downtown views the morning we were checking out.

My room had two Queen sized beds, a huge TV, great views of downtown Dallas, and walking distance to downtown attractions and shopping.

It had a very large closet (always a plus) and a pretty view of downtown Dallas.

Our room was on the 12th floor and had a great view of downtown.

After a hiatus of almost three years (the pandemic, you know), we returned to the Fairmont Dallas on our annual Dallas visit to the downtown Neiman Marcus for lunch in the Zodiac Room and to enjoy the various Dallas museums.

Although we didn’t visit, the hotel is located very close to the Dallas art museums.

Came in to Starbucks before going to the museum and was greeted by Leshon and Ale.

The location is convenient to excellent restaurants and museums!

The location was fantastic and we walked to dinner and the parks and museum!

The hotel is walking distance to great restaurants, museums, church, the visitor's center and the pick up start of Trolly Tour.
