There are lots of little plusses like complementary bottled water, candies and flavored water in the lobby, and champagne at reception.

The hotel staff gave us a warm welcome with a glass of champagne offered & happily taken!

when we first checked in and Lydia on reception found out it was my wife's birthday she quickly and without fuss arranged for a complementary upgrade and champagne brought to our room, later on she personally booked us into Lucianos, Gino de Campos restaurant and made sure we had a fantastic table .

I just want to start this off by saying as soon as we checked out we was already looking at dates to come back in the summer…

From the moment we checked in we was welcomed and provided with exceptional service (not to mention the delicious Champagne upon arrival) 

The service did not stop there.

The staff were super attentive from the minute we arrived, handing us a glass of champagne as they dealt with out booking.

At the Radio we were served by Manuel, Andres, Salma and Marco who delivered us a glass a of complimentary glass of champagne and they treated us as a really VIP guests delivering an excellent service.

We went to see Pretty Woman, and on our return to our room there was a bottle of champagne on ice, a box of chocolates, a birthday balloon and a message wishing me a happy birthday from all the staff -  a complete surprise and so lovely to come back to - thank you!

The Aura team was very attentive and accommodating in helping us celebrate this special occasion, from offering a glass of champagne upon arrival to decorating the room as well as a room upgrade!

When we arrived we were greeted by the concierge team and escorted to reception to check in where we were offered champagne on arrival.

At reception we were also
offered complimentary champagne.

You are greeted with warm welcome and offered a glass of champagne at the reception.

We received champagne on arrival after being taken to the reception by the lovely concierge.

I also ordered the celebration package for the room we were staying in and I was impressed with the balloons, champagne and chocolates!

We briefly mentioned to the lad checking us in that me and my partner had gotten engaged the night before and upon our return from our meal at stk we were greeted with a congratulations message, rose petals on the bed and a small bottle of champagne all complimentary and from a passing mention.

It is super convenient for covent garden, theatre land and you are 

in walking distance of the National Gallery, St. James's park, Trafalgar square, Whitehall and the Royal Horseguards, Parliament, Westminster, and Big Ben.

Best location, close to all places you want to go and see in London (National Gallery, British museum).

The location is unbeatable, walking distance to many major attractions-for us this meant to be close to Covent Garden, National Gallery, and National Portrait Gallery.

but coming from overseas, the exchange rate the bank charges me for the debit and the refund were different and ended with a difference of GBP 16 on my credit card.

thank god we didn't have to pay for breakfast since it was vert pricey.

however he was quite dismissive about our experience and didn't pay attention to what we were asking for.

but if you are from overseas as we are, it means double the bank transfer fees and a double hit on the exchange rates.

Now for the price of a luxury hotel, and the cost of a chiropractor and pain meds to compensate for the beds, I never felt more ripped off in my life.

I was staying at one of the more expensive river facing rooms on the 9th floor with a terrace and it felt a bit shabby and run-down.

but prices were staggeringly high so we skipped it and found a cafe elsewhere.

Compare the price to their actual website, as we found it a lot cheaper.

Would not recommend STK if you are a steak lover, very overpriced and overrated, steak was not nice.

Breakfast would rate a 7/10 could be better

We stayed here for one night as part of my 40th birthday celebrations and have to say it was extremely disappointing for the money we paid.

Disappointed specially with food selection and price.

Not good value for money when our evening at the Shard Hotel the evening before only cost £100 more.

This is a very over priced hotel which tries too hard to be trendy.

We booked 2 nights costing almost £500 per night and that didn’t include breakfast.

I ate lunch at Radio Rooftop which was expensive

The food and drinks were also superb on both STK and Radio Bar, and trust me you have to visit the Radio Bar it was literally the eye on the sky, which we could see the views of London in 360!

Amazing view and Radio Roof Top is a must.

The roof top views at Radio Rooftop were amazing, and the staff was respectful and enjoyable.

I stayed in and had room service - also excellent and had a lovely breakfast at Radio.

At night, this becomes Radio cocktail bar, with a very modern and trendy atmosphere.

Not to even mention the Radio Roof Top bar which you don’t have to book a reservation for if your staying in the hotel as they will accommodate for you which was a perfect way to end our evening.

From the entrance with the paintings of the Queen, the reception area to the Radio bar, everything is very modern and different.

Radio Rooftop was the cherry on top of the experience.

The radio rooftop has one of the best view in London too!

On the plus side, the overhanging glass balcony was something different and we were given priority outdoor seating at the very popular Radio Rooftop bar.

Radio bar is my favourite with a great view.

The Radio rooftop restaurant serves good food and drinks and has an incredible view.

After we unpacked we went to the radio rooftop bar, really beautiful decor and the views of London were nice.

STK, radio bar and Luciano’s assured our stay was brill!

The Radio lounge, restaurant is a fabulous environment for meals, cocktails and fun.

The ME London and the brilliant Radio Rooftop bar are still there, after all that has happened over the last two years.

The interior design and rooftop bar were so beautifully crafted, a real wow feel!

The roof top bar is fabulous and has amazing views of London.

There is a beautiful rooftop bar and an STK in the lobby.

We were running late for our dinner reservation and the hotel dealt with it and amended our time at the local restaurant which enabled us to visit the fabulous rooftop bar.

Even though it was directly below the rooftop bar i couldn't hear any noise from above,

As a hotel guest you were made to feel special without the staff being overbearing, nothing was too much trouble and there were little perks such as easy access to the rooftop bar (again another place I’d recommend for a visit) and when we went up for a late night drink we were quickly welcomed and informed of last orders so we wouldn’t miss out!

The ROOFTOP BAR is incredible with some amazing views of the city (inlcuding big ben) The menu i great and the drink variety was impressive also.

Always find a spot for you on the rooftop bar.

Stunning architecture and amazing rooms, fantastic roof top bar, ideal location, great price and above all, the best hotel team, with a special mention going to Jaimie, who could not have made us feel more welcome.

Every staff member we meet was helpful and friendly,  check-in was seamless, the room was spotlessly clean with every amenity, breakfast on the roof top bar was amazing, the bed was comfortable and the location right next to Covent Garden is second to none.

I was staying there with a group of people for a conference and many of us did not had breakfast in the morning as service was so slow, waited more than 30 minutes for an omelette.

Room service is a bit slow, waited an hour and 30 mins for some food to be delivered.

I wasn't welcomed, the breakfast service was frustratingly slow.

The lifts are so slow we sat waiting for 20 minutes and with no other route down (no staircase) this was quite stressful sitting in the dark.

Enjoyed lovely a lunch, dinner & breakfast at the Radio Rooftop Bar with only one minor negative in that service was a bit slow (waited 20 mins for first drinks & over 30 mins for breakfast to arrive).

Although the breakfast came with a lovely view, service was very slow, the breakfast was missing items and it was hold which was disappointing

We enjoyed the Rooftop bar, with panoramic views of London, and ate in the restaurant, the food was fabulous as was the service, the only little niggle was that the drinks were a bit  slow in being brought to the table and we had to ask a few times,

I read some reviews that said the staff was slow or unresponsive.

Additionally , the internet was impossibly slow (making getting any work done near impossible ).

The biggest disappointment was the restaurant; while the reviews - and views - were stunning, we found the food to be greasy, unseasoned and overpriced, the service inattentive and slow and the techno soundtrack migraine-inducing after only 5 minutes.

however, can be rather busy as we experienced this time, the waitresses were rushed off their feet and I imagine the kitchen staff were stretched as our chips accompanying our steak were cold and service for drinks was rather slow.

Not the place for you if you want a conversation or a long, slow dinner!

Our room was very comfortable and had a great view out toward the river.

We were overlooking the Strand and directly across the road from the Novello and the Duchess theatres.

Arrived at 9pm on a Tuesday night and you couldn't fail to be impressed with the stunning lobby.

Brunch on the rooftop terrace was delicious with enjoyable views over the city.

Location was perfect within easy walking distance of major London sites including Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Millennium Bridge, and Covent Garden.

We explored the area on foot and found it was an easy stroll to Trafalgar Square, The Strand, Covent Garden, Westminster, and a short hop over the bridge to the Southbank.

The hotel is very central for Covent Garden on an evening and we also walked up to the Tower of London along the river bank.

This hotel is ideally place in heart of central London within walking distance of Covent Garden and minutes from Embankment.

Fantastic location with easy access to London's attractions such as Westminster abbey, houses of parliament, Trafalgar Square, Covent garden and theatre land.

It is centrally based and only a 12 minute walk to Covent Garden.

The hotel is very conveniently placed within easy walking distance of The Strand, Covent Garden etc.. and exudes old world charm with a modern touch.

It is a lovely building in a great location, near to Embankment Tube Station and only minutes on foot to Trafalgar Square, Pall Mall & Covent Garden.

The location is exceptional: Trafalgar Square, Westminster, Covent Garden, London Eye are all within a 5 minute walk radius and the Embankment Underground Station is literally around the corner.

Walking through the Embarkment Gardens to Covent Garden Area was a real treat.

So near to Embankment station and within walking distance to theatres and Covent garden.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, close to the theatres, Covent Garden and the Christmas Market by theThames.

Not far from covent garden and also a tube ride away if you have booked a show this is an ideal location.

The hotel is in a great location for visiting the well known landmarks like the Houses of Parliament and is a easy stroll from the Strand, Trafalgar square and Covent Garden.

The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful as well - especially the concierges / bellhops.

When we arrived we was greated by some friendly staff on front of house.

The locaton is very good and the personell was very good  friendly and always very helpful in every moment when  asking for help.

It is an easy walk to the National Gallery & Picadilly.

I booked one night here as a present for my wife as we were visiting the National Gallery.

It was also easy to get to the National Gallery/Trafalgar Square and the Embankment tube station.

Walking distance to the British National Gallery, British Museum etc.

It’s about a five minute walk to Trafalgar Square and the national Gallery.

National Gallery, St. James Park, Trafalgar Square, ecc.

We had a lovely time visiting the London sights, enjoyed a walking tour, river cruise, shopping and also visited the National Gallery.

I asked the way to Natural History Museum, she pointed out directions to National Gallery!

A very nice hotel with attentive staff located within minutes walk of Trafalgar Square, The National Gallery, and steps from the Embankment Tube Stop.

The hotel is perfect for visiting the National Gallery, Westminster Abbey, London Eye and various theatres.

but not great as did not tell us basics like when & where was breakfast, i rang up & asked if the breakfast was on earlier due to marathon told no but came down to find people had eaten earlier so it was.

There was no phone service from your room to the front desk or room service.The front door staff get kudos for extra effort in getting taxis. .

However, the rooms offered were absolutely substandard: old fashioned, blackened windows without natural sunlight & outdated equipment (charging station for iPhone 4 or older instead of one or two USB charging slots for non UK travelers).

At this point we call British Air - they get the hotel to confirm we HAD booked a king deluxe…and that the hotel could not actually guarantee that at any point in the week would get the room we’d reserved and confirmed.

The room was fairly old in decor and wiring - no USB sockets and an original iPhone 1-3 charging dock.

Breakfast arrived to my room eventually after 2 phone calls to reception.

but surely not a big deal?- we'll just phone reception and ask them to bring one up asap, explaining our time constraint.

In addition service times to telephone calls both internal and external need review.

The only failing was our coffee machine did not work and despite it being reported an hour and a half passed and still no one came to replace it, upon a second call it was sorted.

It took a while to get through to reception via the phone the day before our arrival so that could be improved upon.

No responce from mail/web form or phone. Terrible.

No shampoo we had to go and ask someone as Front Desk did not pick up the telephone.

We waited 30 more minutes for a call back before they agreed to send tea and coffee up.

Due to the dreadful views at the back it blocked the wifi signal so our phones could not connect to a Wi-Fi system.

What good is room service if no one picks up the phone, and the lateness of our room certainly did not get our holiday off to a good start.

It was just very dated, not what you'd expect for a hotel calling itself 5*, if you've ever stayed in a "Best Western" hotel, it's like that.

The tech in room didn’t have phone charging ports or the bathroom tv didn’t work

Twice for different things I tried to call reception and house keeping both just came back with no disturb on .

A plus point was We loved the view & we're grateful after reading reviews of rooms on the other side with no natural daylight.

The room was grand & we had great views in f the Thames & the London Eye.

but with a garden or river view room as the inner rooms are only good to sleep in not somewhere that you can relax in.

They even gave us a different room with a better view just because we asked.

We were happy with our room and it had a lovely view of the gardens.

This was obscured from view by the film placed over the windows.

I had the pleasure in staying in this stunning Hotel in June 2022.

but no view at all which is ok if the room was reasonably priced.

The room had a view of the river and was clean and comfortable.

Our room overlooked the river and gardens, it was lovely to see all the spring flowers below.

What a venue to explore London, we stayed in the Waterloo Suite and had views of the top sights.

Located in an impressive historic building near the Thames and bordering the Whitehall Gardens near everything, our stay here for our last two nights in London were memorable.

Centrally located in Whitehall it is a short walk to Parliament, Westminster Abbey, the Household Cavalry Barracks/Museum, Covent Gardens, Trafalgar Square, and many more neighborhoods and historic sites.

Location excellent - close to Whitehall; Westminster and Embankment tube.

Great location for Whitehall and sightseeing around central London.

Stunning building nestled within the backstreets of Whitehall overlooking the Thames.

Great location close to Trafalgar Square and Whitehall.

Just off Whitehall and with riverside rooms offering wonderful views across the Thames towards the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Theatre land, indeed most attractions are within comfortable walking distance.

5 mins walk to Whitehall and Downing Street and onward to St James Park .

Our room was large with a very comfortable superking size bed & as it faced Whitehall Court it was very quiet.

Location is excellent, on the Thames and 1 minute walk through to Whitehall then up to Trafalgar Sq or Westminster.

Fabulous location right in the heart of Whitehall and 10 minutes from Trafalgar Sq/West End attractions.

In the area of the hotel, you have Whitehall, Royal Horseguards, 10 Downing Street and Westminster, so it’s really a quiet and safe place.

As others have mentioned, the hotel is an easy walk to many attractions, including Westminster Abbey, Churchill War Rooms, Horse Guards Parade and Inigo Jones' Whitehall Banqueting House.

20 mins to the theatre and the West End as well as all the attractions of the South Bank and Parliament and Whitehall.

It's tucked away on Whitehall Court where as The Rubens is right on the Buckingham Palace Road.

Right in Whitehall, on the banks of the Thames, steps from the Tube.
