This time, to celebrate my friends birthday.

We had the best time there for a special birthday.

We had stayed here for 2 nights for my boyfriends birthday and had the BEST stay!

Just recently stayed at the Shankly for my daughters 13th birthday, we booked the 'Garden of Eden' suite for one night.

Stayed here the weekend just gone for my daughters 18th birthday .

We had been told that because of the occasion (my wife's 40th birthday), we were to be upgraded to a Luxury Studio.

I booked this hotel for my mums 50th birthday as a surprise

myself and my Partner arrived for my birthday and was amazed how much of a buzz there was going around the venue, the staff at reception were awesome, quick, no fuss check in.

She went the extra mile by ensuring we had arrival drinks and a lovely dessert plate in our room for my hubby’s birthday.

On arrival to the hotel, we was greeted by a fabulous concierge (Eric I believe)  who made our stay extra special when we told him we were celebrating a birthday!

Me and my wife visited the hotel as part of her 30th birthday celebrations.

I booked a one night stay for my daughter and one friend for her 17th Birthday as part of her present.

Me and my husband stayed here overnight for my birthday and we had an amazing time.

I was absolutely made up with everything, especially as it was my birthday the next day.

On the Saturday we had a dinner reservation to celebrating my husband’s 30th Birthday and our wedding anniversary to which we were treated to two glasses of bubbles!

My partner and I stayed here for his 21st birthday in a luxury double room and it did not disappoint!

But from the start I wanted to book the Shankly for my boyfriends birthday and rang up.

Stayed here for my 22nd birthday this year and we throughly enjoyed our stay throughout.

although some bits of information like roof top bar was closed..just to save our legs 😂 room was brilliant, bed was comfortable ,bath is something else..  overally clean and tidy.. 
our special girly weekend was brilliant, and made lots of memories thank you We loved our stay and can't wait to return

Hotel was quirky and in a great location friendly helpful staff a good hot breakfast with plenty of choice and again good service from friendly staff comfortable beds and a fantastic shower would recommend this hotel to family and friends

The bed was very comfortable and I had the best nights sleep I think ive had in a hotel bed.

Pool lovely and warm, beds so comfy, cocktail lads where so friendly and helped get the party going.

There were some positives,  the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean.

However on the good points  the bed was comfy (only one pillow not an issue for me)  and the bath was nice and it did seem clean.

2 double beds comfy, dining room and kitchen with a stylish drink bar.

The bed was comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities in the room also iron and ironing board.

We stayed on the first floor and the room was beautiful, nice big comfortable beds, very clean and has all the amenities you need for an overnight stay.

The room was lovely very clean and very spacious and the beds where so comfortable we had an amazing sleep.

The room was gorgeous and beds were comfy.

Room was clean, beds comfortable & staff very friendly, brilliant location too!

Had a lovely time while staying here, Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, food was lovely, had an amazing stay here beds are very comfy, rooms were clean and nice and warm, definitely be going back and staying here.

Everything about this room was perfect and the beds were so comfy!!

During our stay, reception staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Ben! !

The team that worked the breakfast service were all really friendly and they genuinely showed an interest when chatting to the guests, they really made our Wedding Anniversary special.

The staff are great, there was a couple of issues and they were rectified very quickly by the friendly supervisor- Adam.

Stayed in the classic quad room, and it was absolutely stunning and the hotel itself is gorgeous and really close to town, staff were so helpful and friendly.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Eric and June who went the extra mile to attend to our every request.

The lady running the restaurant that nice was absolutely lovely,  so kind and friendly and would engage in a nice conversation with us when we asked her about the surrounding bars,  she gave us her recommendations and they were spot on exactly what we were looking for.

The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, they made us feel so welcome, especially June & Eric.

Ever single member of staff had a smile on their face and were so friendly and helpful.

When we got there our waitress, Ms Erin took extra good care of us and was so friendly

Fantastic central location, friendly staff, great themed rooms and facilities.

The staff were all so friendly and accommodating.

18 of us stayed last night for the night we had an excellent time staff were accommodating and friendly breakfast was lovely will definitely visit again thank you for making my daughters 18th a special evening.

All staff were so friendly and made sure everything was good for our stay.

The samba dancers were brilliant & so friendly, had everyone up dancing & the afternoon tea was lovely, so much food & unlimited prosecco which they didn’t hold back on lol.

First impressions wow what an amazing building and décor is something else ..Receptionist was very helpful and friendly

Such an amazing stay with the help of Ryan at guest relations he sorted the most beautiful room for us the whirlpool bath was so relaxing he was really helpful and friendly, anything we needed to know he told us absolutely the best weekend ever defo will go back

When we checked in a pleasant young girl greeted us,

Visited Liverpool twice every year as daughter love the city.

I was looking forward to having a fantastic night away with my niece , only to find when we walked in the hotel , Christmas decorations still set in the floor.

4 of us Stayed the night with big and little girls!

Visited as a family (2 adults, 4 children) for a 1 night stay.

Lobby is wonderful, kids really enjoyed the stay and Loverpool FC theme 😍

To top it off the cocktail I ordered was great and my son took great pride in telling his younger brother where we went.. so we did it all again the next morning.

We stayed with children aged 4-12 and all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Bang on service from the girls at Odyssey.

Stayed at this hotel for one night, which was a Sunday, for a girls night away.

We absolutely loved our girls trip to Liverpool and our highlight was most definitely the Shankly hotel and our Garden of Eden room.

Loved the jacuzzi bath, especially the kids.

Would return for a girls weekend away again!

I’m quite fussy with hotels and this was a birthday treat from my daughter.

We all stayed over at the shankley last night for our girls Hen and wow!!!!

Big Thankyou to Rosalie, the girls at the desk and the lovely man Eric who give us the best stay and experience whiles at the Shankly hotel.

Cannot get through to Hotel by phone, does not connect call!

We were advised that we would receive an itinerary ahead of our arrival and a menu to pre order from, neither of which were received despite numerous calls chasing this up.

Can’t empty the bath had to go down to reception to get someone up there's no phone in the room.

The TV is no longer able to stream from iPhones and can no longer screen mirror because they have taken all of the cables away.

The rooms are very dark, had to use the torch on our phones to even get ready!

but of course having no phone in the room this was a huge issue.

Unable to get through to anyone prior to our stay must have rang and emailed the hotel 50 times when I explained this to the staff on the front desk the reply I got was ‘well we’re short staffed it’s not our fault’ 
Definitely won’t stay here again, everyone else in our group all had problems with their bookings and the staff too so I know they’ve lost a lot of future business

I was told by reception ‘you’ve only got 1.5hr to kill before next train to wales (5:30am)!’ But i had no keys for my property and everyone I rang was asleep.

but decided her own cocktail and phone were more important and came back 10 minutes later .

Basically the shankly seriously let us down, booking a year in advance, calling me and email communications about 8 times in the year and they still couldn't get it right.

However since returning even after numerous emails, messages through facebook and telephone calls we have been completely ignored.

Theres no phones in the room for room service.

There were no toiletries or phone in the room so you could not contact anyone from reception either.

From the moment we checked in our whole room was shaking, after calling down to reception and asking why this was happening we were advised there was a rooftop party and we happened to be right underneath it.

but when actually going to fill the jacuzzi bath realised there was pubic hair from previous occupants in the bath and a yellow and black scum ring around the plug hole, utterly disgusting.

No one has ever got back to us after numerous phone calls and emails.

On checkout the receptionist did not really want to address the issues and got me to fill in a complaint form and 'a manager will call you' - two weeks later that has not happened.

No phone to call reception so had to go back down.

I thought this didnt sound positive and watched her speak to the manager from the other side of the reception and heard the manager say ‘what have you told her so far’, and then the female manager came to us along with 2 people over her shoulder watching and looking at us.

but they had music blasting over the lobby so they could not hear the phones anyway!

So we checked in to loud music so loud that you couldn’t hear the receptionist talking.

Anything could have happened and I think it is disgusting that I asked for help from reception and explained how I had been woken up and attacked by the male in the the room yet he was allowed to stay and I was offered no help at all and left vulnerable on the street.

Overhead someone saying ‘did you rub your finger prints off?’ over breakfast.

Sealed windows, 19 people in one room, you can imagine what that was like, when reaching up to 24 degrees in room.Two fans,no electric lead.

I will never stay in this hotel again, maybe due to the horrendous pre booking experience, which left me in dread about the stay and then to have this feeling confirmed multiple times throughout the stay is enough to make me write this review.

This room was constantly shaking and we honestly thought the TV was going to fall off the wall at any minute.

Our first room was on the 3rd floor (hear me out) and I was disappointed when I walked into the bathroom to find just a shower.

We literally couldn’t hear the tv… 
Then you could hear just noise from parties outside.

We tried to stay out from the room as long as possible to try and avoid the noise

The furniture's very scuffy stained tops on dressers could do with a bit of tlc loads of plug sockets and lighting good,front facing on to street so really noisy I don't know what the food was like or drinks,not sure if I'd stay again and looking at the reviews I would say they are spot on.

On the second night (Tuesday), a party started up in one of the rooms and when on really loudly until gone 0230.

At 3am we had the joy of being kept awake ALL night with drunken guests banging on the door knockers.

We would not sign this until we had proof we would still receive the refund. Email exchanges went quiet for a couple of weeks so when we emailed requesting our refund by a certain day we receive an email accusation of threats and bribery (which was what the manager originally did trying to get us to sign an NDA for a refund for HUSH MONEY!)

Now to top this of when we got back from our night out we started hearing noises from the vent in our room we all started to freak out abit as we wore convinced it was rats by the sound of it

Where do I start:
- room smells of mold, bath jets pump out black dirt, coffee spills covering side tables, stained sheets, someone’s confetti left in the bed, windows filthy and safety catches broken, no Wi-Fi, phoned reception (on my mobile as no phone in room) hung up or didn’t answer.

The windows didn't stop much noise from the busy road below.

however it maybe a little noisy with all the stag and hen groups at weekends.

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, then you're not going to get it.

There was Leaks in the corridor ceilings and towels all over the floor, with a strong smell of damp.

There was also a slight smell of damp outside the room and down the corridors.

There was several pieces of wallpaper missing,  the back panel of the toilet was coming away, sealant that has been left unfinished, a disgusting plug in the bath, general dirt and chips out of the bathroom floor missing.

The windows and are absolutely disgustingly dirty.

Our car was parked underneath the hotel, lift down to the car park and when you come out of the lift, the smell was unreal and walls are damaged, cracked.

Windows where filthy albeit on the outside and were screwed shut.

The room had a really unpleasant smell and felt generally unclean, dirty windows and facilities.

Windows were quite dirty you could barely see out of and of course as non of them could be opened the stench was even worse.

We could also smell cigarette smoke in the corridor.

Our only issue is that there's no designated smoking area outside the hotel.

This is absolutely disgusting, I suggest you educate your staff in kindness and provide violence and aggression training.

The final straw was when we went to bed and pulled back the sheets to find a massive stain in the middle of the sheet , filthy mattress with no protector on and a filthy duvet so had to sleep on the top of the bed .

Got to the room was filthy could feel the dirt under your feet !

Smell of weed on roof top terrace and security just confirm its nothing to do with them, lots of people complaining.

The only thing I would suggest needs improvement is the bathroom could do with more towel rails/hooks to dry damp towels and there was no rail/hook for the hand towels so they just got left on the shelf above the sink.

The only down side was a strong smell of "substances" on one of the corridors coming from a room

One of my friends was using the bath and realised the water didn’t drain properly at all and was very slow.

Rooms wasn't ready when we arrived  .charged each person £50 deposit each even tho we paid upfront for the rooms  the person who name is booked under must show  ID or you not getting in !Hotel corridors smelled of weed and had falling wall paper coming down from the roof.

I had a chicken main and it had a putrid smell to it so I didn't eat it at all.

Eric, Rosie and Steve in particular were so accomodating and Eric looked after us all weekend.

The weekend was amazing from start to finish and the staff could not have been any nicer.

Bar staff Rhianna and Nathan were also amazing and made our afternoon one to remember.

The food, entertainment, staff and especially the bar manager were excellent.

Nothing heard back so rang her on 16th Sept, spoken to different person and advised that Kaya was on the other line and took the message.

Breakfast was not bad and the restaurant and bar staff were very nice.

but that isn’t really helpful as we don’t know the area and had a large suitcase with us!

The staff were unbelievably helpful and I couldn’t thank them enough for all they did!

The staff are so nice & nothing is too much trouble.

but ours had poor aircon and the window was a sealed unit .good breakfast .friendly bar staff and we all had jacuzzi baths very relaxing ,reception staff gave good information and helpful

A massive shout out to the lovely, kind and welcoming breakfast staff in the restaurant!

Such a massive selection and again, the staff were great and attentive.

Firstly the welcome from the concierge is fab, lots of banter!

but was once again very impressed with every aspect, especially politeness and helpfulness of staff.

Hotel was fab, Eric was extremely welcoming and helpful 
Would deffo return really enjoyed our stay
Food was really nice
Bedroom was lovely - and clean the bathroom could of done with being better

This was a surprise gift for my birthday off my husband.

My partner booked a night in the Titanic for us as a surprise for my birthday, and it was absolutely amazing.

We stayed in room 333 in the Titanic Hotel on 17th August, As it was Alison's Birthday, on the 18th and Mine earlier in this year.

We booked here for my birthday as the spa looked amazing.

I recently stayed for my finances birthday, and we had a wonderful time.

I was lucky enough to be gifted a night at the Titanic Hotel for a recent birthday so was quite looking forward to see whether the hype lived up to reality.

We recently celebrated a family 18th birthday at the Titanic.

Had two fabulous nights at the Titanic hotel to celebrate my mums 80th birthday.

We stayed at the Titanic hotel as a surprise night away for a 30th birthday celebration in Liverpool.

Just returned from a one night break celebrating my birthday.

Booked for me and my partner as a treat for her birthday.

My wife surprised me with a weekend in Liverpool for my 40th birthday and booked the Titanic Hotel.

This is a really easy review to write as everything was perfect.

Booked this hotel as part of a birthday trip for my partner.

Overnight stay with friends to celebrate my birthday.

All booked by my husband for my birthday, so it was nice to find a bottle of rosè wine chilling in the fridge for us.

We stayed here last weekend for my daughters birthday there was 10 of us, everyone was really welcoming and helpful they decorated my daughters room also put extras in for her birthday, helped with getting taxi anything we needed they were more than happy to help sort it 
I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this is one of the best can’t wait to come back

Myself and my partner spent two nights here for my birthday, we had the most amazing time and made full use of everything the hotel had to offer.

Stayed here with the Love on the docks deal as a birthday treat.

The staff serving where professional and friendly, especially Tracy, she brought the numerous three course meals quickly and efficiently, there wasn’t a lift to bring the food up and she had to go up and down the flight of stairs many times, she did this with a smile.

On arrival the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Stayed here with family & friends, staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious & cosy, food was very good, hotel has been designed very well keeping existing old structure with new decor.

Booking was easy and every member of staff we spoke to was polite, friendly and helpful.

Norbert was excellent and he looked after us in Stanley's bar & restaurant and all the staff in general were very helpful, professional and friendly.

The guy who welcomed us to the restaurant was so friendly and then our server was Nancy who just couldn’t do enough for us.

Came to Liverpool from London for the weekend had a very pleasurable stay, we were greeted and checked in with ease the staff are friendly and accommodating.

There was also a mini safe, fridge and a decent hairdryer and after all that there was still enough room to dance around ( should you chose to do so)

The staff were friendly helpful and courteous couldn't do enough for you.

The breakfast was delicious and very organised, all staff were efficient and friendly.

Superb hotel in every respect; excellent rooms which are huge, clean and comfortable.

The room upon arrival was lovely - huge room, large wooden beams and brick ceiling, even a huge bathroom!

The room was huge, nicely decorated and clean.

The rooms were just amazing I can honestly say I have never stayed in such a big room, with every amenity you could want.

We absolutely loved it, the rooms are very large and comfortable, and the maid service impeccable, all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

From the huge rooms and divine beds, to the incredibly well stocked bar and so knowledgable staff, fabulous restaurant, delicious food (breakfast was immense and delicious) and the all round ambiance of your surroundings.

The rooms are huge, like mini living rooms, with armchairs, the beds are extremely spacious and comfortable and the black out curtains and like you wouldn’t believe.

Room was huge and very clean with a nice view and comfy big bed.

but some distinct downsides, the ups first:- good location, walking distance or short Uber  into city restaurants, huge rooms, lovely lighting and atmospheric.

Couldn’t fault our stay, amazing huge rooms, wonderful service and a delicious meal in Stanley’s Bar and Grill.

but it was a very large room with a lovely view.

Food was average at best 

Hotel overall is nice, large rooms, nice architecture, that’s all it has going for it though.

The accommodation was great, rooms are huge and very comfortable.

Our room was huge and had everything you could need for a really comfortable stay, I particularly enjoyed sitting on the window seat overlooking the docks.

The quality of the food wasn't what I expected for the overall cost.

It isn’t very central to town I would say, and took us awhile to walk, it cost £6 on average to get a taxi into town and a further £6 to get back.

If we were to come here for another spa day I would come, and I did pay for the hotel with a voucher,
