No way of controlling the temperature in individual rooms, I was absolutely freezing and while a small electric heater was eventually provided it made little difference due to the only sockets being nowhere near the bed.

but I would rather have working air conditioning.

It took me ages to adjust the air conditioning to stop the cold draught.

Although we turned the heat off and opened a window, the room was hot and the AC was not available.

My only criticism is that my room was far too hot, and it isn’t possible to adjust the heating level.

“Let me send a heater as well in case you need it”.

we requested a fan from the front desk and they had it with us in minutes.

I was given a really tired room - no air conditioning, meaning only an opening window for very noisy ventilation (traffic then student nights out), knackered beds, no electric outlets next to the bed, cracked and dated bathroom with shower curtain, and most uselessly no in-room safe.

Unfortunately, there was no one available to turn the heating on!

Air con in bedrooms ancient and noisy - is that the reason for the ear plugs?

The only criticism I had was my room overlooked the car park to a nearby shopping precinct, the air conditioning units of which were directly under my window.

would advise against staying here if the weather is hot.., during our stay the a/c broke down and no one fixed it all they did was give us fans.

The down sides were-no mini fridge, no safety box and very noisy air con.

Room was cold - no ability to change heating settings;  actually, I think the central heating was broken;  I raised this with staff and they very quickly provided me with electric heater. 2.

I’ve also complained about the lack of heating control on each occasion and last night was just the same.

My attempts to raise the heat via the thermostat made no difference.

but be aware that if you have a room overlooking the roof of the shopping centre, the ventilation systems on the rooftops make enough noise to produce a constant droning hum which can be heard clearly in the rooms.

I do a lot of travelling with work,I arrived at lime street station and the hotel was there so convenient for the station, Check in was very smooth with a nice smily receptionist,Following morning I went to have breakfast was greeted by a lovely lady named Roni breakfast was so nice from pastries to hot buffet, 
I can’t wait to take my family back to the hotel

We traveled by train and the hotel was located perfectly opposite the station in Lime Street.

Despite being close to the station and having a lot of traffic outside, we both slept well and were not disturbed by any noise from outside.

The location is ideal right opposite the station and proximity to the 917 Bus to/from Anfield is perfect too.

We had tea in the restaurant which has a cafe too overlooking the station.

The layout of the dining and bar in the evening was nice, where you could sit by the window and look across to the station.

Excellent venue close to the station and all the shops; Christmas Market just round the corner.

Otherwise, still a great hotel, clean and quiet despite its city centre location and a few minutes walk to the station

Breakfast was very good, the two ladies in the dining room were super helpful and friendly, I was even able to leave my bag during the day and only picked it up on the way to the station in the evening for my return train journey home.

Mould all over the ceiling in the bathroom and damp smell.

no shower cap, no biscuits, no pen and paper.

The bathroom was a whole different story.

The ceiling of the bathroom had black spots of mold all over it.

So if I needed clean towels, coffee and tea sachets or toiletries I had to let them know so they could give them to me on reception or from the room If they could be bothered.

Like many others have already noted, the bathrooms need attention.

Apart from the bathroom needing a little updating as per other reviews we were more than happy.

but slightly dated, especially the bathroom.

The only thing knocking it down a bit was it was a little worn/damaged around the edges no doubt from previous guests e.g.- the shower fitting was loose

Mold on ceiling, around bath and tiles, grubby plug hole and mirror needs replaced as old and marked, marks on doors (you get the picture).

Had to call to get coffee etc and toilet roll.

It’s one of those showers where you get in, create a lather, then spend five minutes trying to rinse.

In general it was a really grotty room.

but the bathroom extractor was not working and the bathroom smelt musty.

but was told  this option was not available, check in 4pm, staff very busy allocated room 544 bathroom grubby as no extractor fan, toilet seat unsafe to sit on, no back on remote for tv, bed on casters rolled when sat on.

Nice hotel, overlooking big wheel, unfortunately not in operation 😞would stay again, walking distance to waterfront, drop off point only,

but the views were perfect as you can the see the big wheel as it’s just outside the front of the hotel.

We booked the executive king room, and it was fantastic, the view was awesome of the big wheel and the mersey. .

The room itself was really nice (room 358) it had the most amazing views, you could see the dock, the mersey, the big wheel, the liver birds it was spectacular.

Everything was lovely we had the executive room looking over the big wheel room 643 I didn’t know that we could of had free Costa coffee with being in the executive room which would of been nice if we would have been told at check in

We had a view of the Echo arena and the big wheel, no noise disturbance at any time, we got to choose high or lowdown room and were on the 5th floor.

Couldn’t of asked for much more the view from our room was of the big wheel!

We stayed a few nights in this modern hotel on the Liverpool Waterfront by Prince Albert Dock and our room was clean and comfortable.

The rooms where very clean, the staff from housekeeping, bar staff catering and the maintenance where happy and very helpful, nothing was 2 much trouble even when we decided my daughter and I to stay 2 extra days.

Our room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was fine  .

It was self service which made it very easy and again the room was very clean.

The location is very good, next to Royal Alber Hall and many bars and restaurants, the rooms are clean, spacious and has all the services you might need in a short trip to Liverpool.

hotel staff helpful and friendly breakfast was good lots of choice,  the hotel is a good location close to albert docks and town centre,  the ferry terminal short walk away and beatles story across the road,  the sight seeing bus and beatles mystery tour bus stop is right outside hotel,  the wheel is very good great views of liverpool.

It is just beside the Albert Dock, very near to many museums including Beatles Museum, Liverpool Museum and Maritime Museum and hop on hop off buses.

Close to the docks, 25 minute walk from lime street station and about 4 steps from the M&S Bank Arena.

We stayed over after seeing Christina at the arena.

The location is fantastic, probably 200m from Albert Dock and directly opposite the M&S Bank Arena.

Hotel is in an excellent position, near to the water front/shopping, on the door step to the M&S Arena.

We were staying for a birthday celebration night out at a show.

The location was an added bonus as it was just across from the M&S Bank Arena which is why we were in Liverpool.

We had a great view of the docks, arena was 50 metres away and the big wheel which is lit up at night.

The hotel is situated next to the M&S Bank Arena and the far side of Albert Dock so is also close to Liverpool One shops.

I googled this and apparently it’s an error code, something to do with drainage issues in the air con.

I had to move from room to room cz few of the rooms have big stains on carpet like they been sick on looks disgusting!

If you opened the window at night to let the air in ,all you got was a sewerage smell.

We paid £200 a night for the room that had dirty towels, towels with holes in, ripped duvet and cigarette burns in the curtains!!!!

When we arrived the girl on reception was totally rude and hardly spoke , on the 3rd day we had to request fresh towels for our room which were dropped on the bed , the damp ones were left in the Bathroom .

There was black mold all over the ceiling!!

The heating did not work, the bathroom was disgusting and the towels should have been renewed years ago, they are threadbare  and washed done.

In need of updating  as bathrooms with accessible showers we had are disgusting.

My room 355 the bathroom tiles were full of mold the shower curtain was discolored the carpet in the room looked grubby, the tv reception was poor, the breakfast was adequate

But the bathroom was very poor with the grout and mold.

Staff are a disgrace how they speak to people is disgusting, the manager Ben is in the wrong profession - even his fellow employees apologised to us for how he treated us.

The Hotel is situated in the heart of Ropewalks, which makes L1 and Albert Dock very accessible.

I stayed from Monday to Thursday, very good for a weekday stay. Location: Amazing location, 5 minutes away from Bold St and Liverpool one centre,  15 minutes walk from Albert Dock, university main campus and easy to get to from Lime St

Perfect location, close to Cavern Quarter, Albert Dock, and all the other must-visit spots of Liverpool.

It is within a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops and only a 10 minute walk to Albert Dock.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone.Great value in a great place close to good bars,restaurants,shops and Albert dock.Very good sized rooms and great hotel staff who are only too pleased to help you with information you may want.Very knowledgeable about the area.Great you can become a member and get upgrades when available at the hotel,15% off drinks and food at certain restaurants.The hotel is in a good place for all bars,shops,restaurants and the cavern plus Albert docks.

The hotel is in an excellent location, an easy walk down to Liverpool One or the Royal Albert Dock area.

It's about 7 minute walk to L'pool One and Lime St also about the same to Albert Dock.
