Very nice personnel, rooms were spacious, clean and serviced daily, tasty & fresh breakfast with many choices, nice swimming pool with wellness, rich programme for kids (thanks to amazing animators!) .

Baby received toy, colouring book when we arrived - very nice touch.

We like to play board games with kids in the lobby bar and bowling was very funny too.

Comfortable rooms, nice swimming pool, activities for children.

My daughter asked for more time in the swimming pool (due to restrictions). The playground outside and the childrens corner are very kids friendly and offer wide choice of activities :-)

a small soft play area which the kids loved and an arcade which could do with updating.

Professional staff, well equiped hotel with swimm pools, bars, bowlings, sauna, and so on, very nice room on 5th floor with balcony, quite clean even if could be better on some areas of bedromm and bathroom.

Animators were génial with children, especially Andrea, all children love her!

Dinner served was tasteful, daily activities and animation program were various and interesting for all of us. Our family is looking forward for our next stay :-)

As I learnt they also have packages for families (with activities for children), or romantic package for couples, package for seniors, even special ones for extended weekend joga package !

The food is good with a buffet breakfast and a set dinner with a choice of   3 main courses plus a salad bar.

The breakfast and dinner was nice for the price.

The dishes wery very nice and rich (if there was a buffet we would consume less).

One tip - separate bussines travelers from families with children.

The surroundings are amazing, the room was cozy and comfortable, the food delicious (both breakfast and dinner) and the gym well equipped.

That's why they only earn a fraction of the management, because their unwillingness has to be rewarded accordingly.

On one occasion i asked the manager who was wearing a grey suit a question and he told me to ask someone else.

When we have raised this issue to restaurant manager he explained that it was hotel initiative to bring us more wine since portions mentioned in menu are too little from the restaurant point of view.

When we ask to change a table since I was with my Mother, a lady age 85 that was tired to walk so far - the manager was so antisocial and her attitude was so antipathetic and she rudely refuse to help us and continued to refuse even when one of the ladies in the reception talked with her!!

a lady that took sit at that place almost sat on broken glass left there - she noticed and asked for chair replacement herself- it seems like this place is running with no manager or they are just focused on short term profit and are hiring low qualified and as few as possible employees

2) facilities have early closing time and couple of minutes after the time the waiter will tell you: sorry we are closed! 3) I paid 70% of full price for a bit of clear pasta for the kid (8 euro), and the manager told me thta was even waiter fault to give me (unbelievable.  )

I'm not sure how could the management miss such a detail.

but more the management and or the governments fault.

During the day I asked 4 times to speak with the manager (Mr Vujtek, or Vujtik something like this).

but not before we had to speak personally to the hotel manager).

We talk about it with manager on duty,  he palliate and promise us make change,

but two days later they send an email that we have to pay the room that they did not give it to us in time that we been there.

Downside is there is no aircon in the rooms (and it was very warm when we were there) and there is an expensive and prescriptive dinner each night (which we opted out of).

but please reconsider the prices of drinks in the restaurant.

We wanted to book a room for a couple with a baby, two different prices showing on two different screens, had to call them and resolve, not a big issue,

No helper to close roof top fence (Velux) anyway into rooms!!!! Quite expensive price (320euros for 2 bedrooms 1 night and 4 breakfasts)

When we have raised question to the reception the lady was quite aggressive saying that “In the whole world the tap water is charged, so what do you expect from us”?

For kid breakfast only fruit or sweeet cereals - no pancakes or creppes- No buffet for dinner - you have to pick a dish from 3 choice menu, portions are very small for adults, if kid does not like it you have to pay to get smth else- jar of tap water with lemon is 3 euros!- dinner service takes around 2h!

Everything included in the price of the package was cheap-cheap alcohol, awful dinner, bad masseg without choice.

When we insisted they had to check if this is subject to a fee or not.

For the money we paid we should have free coffee.

It was the first time I have been offered for a triple room and have been asked to actually pay for a triple room even if we were just 2.

but probably online with rates for a hotel of this nature.

I find the main hotel a little old and pricey.

We visited this hotel because other hotels on this area are overpriced or with worst equipment etc.

For 36EUR/2 hrs its really not cheap funny.

but the person is completely indifferent to the problems and requests you make.

Tbh comparing the hotel webpage information to reality in aspect of GF awareness huge disappointment also while booking i have asked for extended time to leave apparent -

Simple requests were dismissed, and there was a rather abusive encounter with one of the staff.

ONE HOUR later, after dealing with his swearing, banging, sawing on metal with open flames flying - ripping the door off, we had to go down and request another room.

Another time I asked at the restaurant in the afternoon, if we can get some light snacks, as the english description suggested.

but reception staff requested our plate numbers when we've arrived, so it shouldn't be a problem to call visitors who are parking on disabled spots and ask them to move car somewhere else.

Also, you asked for water, and standardly our clients are ordering from the list of drinks.

Moreover they didn’t have a bell boy and I was alone with 2 kids and my mother and no one helped me to carry the suitcases, even when I asked for help!!

When we asked for they said they don't provide.

The staff in the restaurant are extremely polite and eager to help.

The waiters during meals were great, and as we are not picky eaters, we were happy with food and beverages.

A la carte dinner apparently doesn’t “start” until 9pm, which is very late.

It is a very nice hotel, friendly staff at high professional level, food excellent, animation program for kids just perfect.

The rooms are quite large and well cleaned.

The hotel is in a good location, parking was ok and our room was big and relatively quiet -

We were there so we could manage to use the room,

Spacious room, clean, comfortable bed and second bed.

Rooms are very spacious, there is a bath tub and bidet in bathrooms.

Staff was  very frendly, room was clean, food was realy tasty :-)
Wellness was also OK,

Spacious rooms were great surprise for us.

Hotel provided excellent service, wellness world eas separately for children and adults, rooms were spacious and clean.

After checking in, a maintenance man was sent to the room to fix a broken doorknob as we sat waiting in the room to unpack.

each family table has a small table with colouring pens and pages to entertain kids while you wait fir food to be served.

The only thing we can comment was that on our day of arrival, they had a dinner menu until 21:00 with a starter, main meal and a dessert, so if we wanted something else on the á la carte menu, we had to wait until 21:00.

Of course I went to the reception and the lady tell me that I have simply to wait till 7am the arrival of the Maintenance guy, 2nd SHOCK!!.

The soups were too warm for children, so we had to wait a while.

Huge breakfasts were great bonus before going to the ski depot in the basement and take your snowboards or skis and go to the slopes.

Dinner was a buffet style affair and the food was reasonable and a good choice.

Perfectly located 20m from the slopes, this hotel has a range of facilities, spotless rooms, helpful staff and a nice hearty breakfast.

Rooms were very clean, so kudos to housekeeping :) 

The dinner and breakfast could be better.

The saunas and outside and inside pools are great, the food is delicious, the ski schools are the best and the customer service is fantastic.

The buffet breakfast and dinner are good, there's a decent selection of everything.

but if you want to be the first at the breakfast it will fit your plans.

The food in the restaurant was plentiful, albeit of a basic standard.

We booked half board accommodation, so our breakfast and dinner was included.

the half-board dinner buffet did not look very apetizing, we ordered from the menu, and the food was delicious on the fine dining level.

Strong positives are; great location beside lift, excellent spa and wellness and rooms are OK.

Hotel is located few meters from the slopes and lifts, which is amazing if your are a winter lovers as we are ;-) 
The room was medium size, not the most modern -

The hotel is located just at the Biela put ski slope.

Excellent location in the middle of Chopok resort (for skiing, hiking).

The hotel was very nice, really clean, great located next to the sky slope.

This hotel offers many parking places and due to location (
Chopok hill ) it offers many hiking posibilities.

Nice accommodation for making a trip around -  mountains, and perfect location for skiing in the winter - close to the ski lifts.

The only highlight of this trip was this cute hotel called "Druzba" which was located only a few minutes away from hotel grand, and was homey, had excellent service and is essentially the same price and has the same rating.

The location is great - good hiking or skiing location -

Very conveniently located just next to the lower station of ski lifts.

Excellent location - ski-in and ski-out - the hotel is located right next to one of the chairlifts.

Location: just off the gondola lift to the pretty nice separate slope (blue and red).

I wasn’t even told where the spa is located, not mentioning what to do.

this hotel has a very good location, direct near by ski slope.

The location is ideal for hiking and skiing and other outdoor activities.

The hotel was very busy including the pool area with young families and as such was a little noisy and boisterous,

Also our room was located right on the edge, near the road, so there was some traffic noise (though not THAT inconvenient).

Hotel is big and sometimes a bit noisy, depending on the neighborhood.

So much noise due to construction and a business conference.

Big and noisy construction next to the hotel made our mornings short.

CONS:
The room's door (de-lux room) was not blocking any of the sounds from the hallway - so if any other guests are walking by your room you will hear every word they are talking, and you will wake up in the morning with the first guests leaving their rooms as you can hear their moves, talks, children very loudly.

At the hotel itself there were many families with kids which made the lobby and the retaurant crowded and noisy.

Noise insulation can also be an issue, especially kids running in the corridors,

Only real downsides for us were -queues at reception at many times -  the kids running up and down the corridor and closing doors loudly, the floors and doors are quite echoey.

The exuberance of the noise only intensified as the early hours of the morning dawned.

Phone didn’t work in the room, I believe this is for your convenience, so you are not disturbed by anybody.

but however we had to sit among the customers those had mostly half or full boards and it was a bit disturbing.

The building construction next to the hotel was giving some noise during the daytime

Lobby - noisy In the evening, staff friendly.

but this was way too much, they occupied everything from reception, lobby, bar and restaurant and were of course very noisy because nobody cared – nor their parents nor the hotel staff.

The shower jets around the pool didn't seem to work and neither did those in the pool.

The jets and heating seemed to be broken, and the pool isn't big enough to actually swim in.

Spa was good, 2 outdoor hot tubs, 2 saunas in the outdoor area and a further 2 steam rooms and sauna indoors.

The wellness area is one of the best things to compliment this hotel for - the pool's large, there are multiple saunas and hot tubs in a common area and the hotel has on-site masseuses.

There is a pool (however very small) and a spa with really good masage.

A beautiful hotel with all the facilities you want in a place when you are up in the mountains: nice rooms, swimming pool with jacuzzi; outdoor jacuzzi; outdoor therapy lake; sauna; steam room; massage; kids club etc.

This is si simply high quality hotel with spa.

The wellness centre was a great idea and is well laid out, the relaxation from the outdoor spa in the snow and sauna rooms was a great way to unwind after a long day skiing.

Spa was lovely, big variety of spa facilities (pool, steam room, sauna, massage).

The spa is good as are the services of ski room/rent/school.

but the outdoor Jacuzzi and dry sauna are a great complementary to the spa feeling.

Very nice wellness area, including indoor pool and 5 in total (2 outside and 3 inside) saunas (dry, outside one with window personally recommended).

The spa area is reserved for adults after 19:00, so those without kids do have an opportunity to enjoy peace and quiet.

There are many saunas to choose from and after 7 it goes very quiet.

The wellness and spa centre was well managed and we enjoyed all facilities (all kind of saunas, indoor pool, outdoor whirlpools and I personally also small outdoor cooling lake, which was really good).

I'm sure this place is lovely for skiing or summer activities.

This venue is just as well suited to an elegant 5 star wedding, as it is to a relaxed family getaway!

I can't say much more about other activities as we didn't use them.

This place is really great for outdoor activities, the cottages are lovely and do offer everything you need.

This unusual wooden cottage hotel is offering wellness, sport activities, nearby hiking paths, lovely nature and of course delicious food.

You can relax and take up some sports and mountain wondering as well.

The overall atmosphere is warm and woods around the venue make it a best place for your vacation if you travel to Liptov area.

It is a lovely place in very nice nature, with a lot of possibilities for activities - biking, hiking, swimming, etc.

We appreciate using sport and relax services in accomondation price (tenis, squash, sauna, pool, whirlpool).
