Hanger space is above space for luggage and it is a mess while there was plenty of space in the bathroom and to the left of the bed.

What I missed were slippers, coffee equipment in the room wasn’t renewed the second day, eucalyptus smell on the pillow I did not like and that there is no wardrobe to put your clothes in-in fact you can hang all your shirt and jacket on the wall

However, there was a conference group one day and the lifts had a 'room key' hanging off a string available to conference personnel to go to various rooms, they were obviously not residents.

Even the suites (which are spacious) are very plain, and do not have a real closet or dresser (just some hangers on exposed hooks and shelves on the wall).

There are no cupboards and more than shower gel you wont find in the bathroom.

There wasn't a wardrobe as such rather just some hangers and a couple of cabinets.

There is no closet, so that could bother some people, particularly if they are traveling in groups.

I expect a cupboard in my room, not 3 bars sticking out of the wall with hangers on them to hang your clothes on.

It is a bit frugal, as expected from Park Inn: no enclosed space (furniture) for your things (just open-air hangers).

There was too much empty space and no closet or drawers.

On the down side was the lack of wardrobes or storage space for clothes.

but no fridge and only 1 English Breakfast teabag!

The only draw back is lack of a fridge in the room.

Unfortunately room doesn’t have minibar or fridge.

It would have been nice to have kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Recommended.

we have stayed here before on 3 occasions and never had the need to write a poor review, until now.

Breakfast was quite a delusion because the choice was very poor in particular for those with authors allergies or dietary restrictions.

Except the entertainnent television channels were poor for english speaking guests.

To be justice:
+ for location ( very central)
+ for the room standard
- for staff (they were angry and had no service mind specially at breakfast)
- for braekfast (very poor and often food is finish so we had to wait)
- for elevators (normal to wait 5 minutes before it come with space)
- for hotel resturant (expensive and not testy food)
We would not take that hotel agaim

Overall we felt the total price for our stay was comparatively expensive - breakfast was extra to the room and offered a relatively minimal and poor quality selection for a high price .

There's no free breakfast here, and with the 10€ food and beverage credit, you will still wind up paying through the nose for whatever it is they offer for 24€ (it is unlikely to be much, as this is a Courtyard, after all).

Did not have breakfast as they charge €24 which is a too high price tag for a Courtyard breakfast.

As platinum member, you don't get anything except for 10Euro credit or 500 points, you don't get an upgrade.

and nastiness about the credit card - again, from a woman at reception.

though , is blocking my credit card several times repeatedly ,4 times to be more accurate, and not the correct amount.

Anyway I find a bit cheap that the coffee from Nescafé was not free (even if I could take it thanks to my platinum card).

In perfect american style they bill your credit card with an extra amount during the check in (in case you would be so greedy to use the frigobar without paying).

Unfortunately I experienced the same here 20 euro's car park, internet charges ( which were waived when I joined the frequent stay club ) breakfast not included.

We had problems using our Marriott cash card, this was not the hotel's fault

A little issue on checkout (wrong invoice I didn't check at the moment), promptly fixed via email.

The rooms are noisy with some aircon plant or other annoying noise and the hotel charges extra for internet which - in today's time really should be free.

Other shockers were the 4.5 euro charge for bottle of water in the room and the 19 euro charge for a full breakfast.

Because of the problem I experienced I was not charged.

Location is a bit out of town, and parking is quite pricey.

At EUR 21 - overpriced breakfast for what it was and truly only wanted coffee, juice and a few pastries.

Room are outdated bedsheets are dirty and toilet amenities are cheap and terrible.

The only negative I would level at the hotel is the 20 euro overnight parking charge - the seemed very steep.

Notice: you have to pay for the garage services daily, it is quite expensive and have no other opportunity to park.

If they were the only statistic I had with which to rate the hotel, I'd never book anywhere else.

3 days later I had to inform them again about the mistake and it was only then when they realized it and they would rectify it, it took 3 weeks for the amount to be released back to my bank account….Moreover, housekeeping needs to pay more attention and not only to detail

The best information at check in: we have to pay for the internet. Why???

It's a little on the pricey side, at approx 150 a night.

I stayed only one night in this hotel and I was on buss.trip and I didnt pay this hotel.

Check in easy, service good, unfortunately no adapter which was a bit of a hazzle, clean rooms with everything required.

but the area was full of smokers and no where else to eat that was smoke free.

So forever stays the smell, when you use bathroom.

Marriott should stick to an all non-smoking policy in the hotel.

Bar/restaurant are nothing special and food is quite disappointing, plus smoking being allowed isn't particularly pleasant.

First off.. shame on Austria for not following the rest of Europe in not implementing a blanket smoking ban.

The negative comments are for the smoking now allowed in specific areas.

For smoking room i have another point, some smooking rooms looks "old" and have specific smell of many cigarettes.

First time in a hotel in austria that we have been we had to pay to have internet in the rooom.

Other issues I have - paying extortionate rates for internet when other hotels in the area give it for free, noisy kids running up and down the corridors all night and "strange" people constantly sitting around the reception area at all hours (reminded me of the old Eastern bloc hotels with dodgy Government officials in leather coats and hats watching the clientele) and its not the closest hotel to the city centre.

The expensive water, crazy price for internet, along with overpriced goods in a reception shop - they all show you clearly about the desire to milk you out of your hard earned money - they all point to the greed of top management and hotel owners.

It doesn't often offer you a breakfast rate on the internet so asking when you check in can't hurt, especially if there is more than just yourself.

The family room size is not enough if you stay more then a night (we were 2 adults and 2 children)
The building is a bit old and the major problem is that the air conditioner is not working well.

however bar staff was typical Austrian effective and cold.

The room was very warm and i felt like the air vent wasn't really working,

The only complaint was the temperature of the room is controlled centrally, so there is no thermostat in the guest room.

The room had clogged bath tub, AC not working properly and worst of all "hair and chewing gum" on the bed.

In my room the pipe rattled every time I turned off the cold tap and the toilet didn't flush properly.

The air con was not working properly in our room - he organised a second fan.

The weather happened to be extremely hot during our stay, and the air conditioning wasn't sufficient.

The price is too high, the price for breakfast is outrageous, the rooms are stuffy and if you open the window you are next to the highway exit so its noisy.

The shower was the next big desaster:
The waterhose broken and leaking.

but overall a bit of an "overdose of plastic"; no bottle of water / cofffee / tea facility; no fridge

Entire building can do with an energy saving make-over. Breakfast was substandard; fruit basket not fresh; orange juice had max 1% orange (effectively a shame!!)

Bathroom w/o essentials, bad smell in the room, no minibar, noisy, really would like to have been anywhere else! In case of trip to Linz, avoid it even on Booking the rank is good (cannot understand why)

Hotel provides basic facilities, no fridge in rooms.

I was already paying for the room, I don't know why I should have an extra fee.

Starting to leave I got a 134 per room price, which I accepted after which a quite lengthy checkin process started, as the receptionist (only one on duty) was constantly interrupted by calls and guests.

Please do something to avoid the crowded lines in the morning when everybody leaves the place and wants to pay.

A final word of caution: the room service surcharge is EUR6.90, even for a cheese toast!

Overall this hotel does not rate even 1 star.

Free car parking is not really an option so we paid the 18 Euro.

No place to park your car at all, only option is to pay extra 16 euro a day.

Food in the restaurant was OK,  on the expensive side which might explain why only one other person was eating there - lacked atmosphere.

but has seen much better days, everything was overpriced.

Breakfast was expensive considering the lack of variety and flavour.

The rooms are quite small with only a Queen size bed, the bathrooms are very small, with the shower over the bath.

The only thing we did not like is that the rooms are a bit small (especially for double occupancy).

The whole hotel looks like it needs a new coat of paint, a proper cleaning and some love.

We called down at 8pm and were advised that Housekeeping had left for the day and that the supplies were all locked up. Really?!

My only complain is for the bathroom cleaning, not as good as expected for a 4 stars hotel.

As we left the room again shortly before 4 we could see the maid come down our floor with her trolley.

As mentioned in another comment, staff walks into your room without knocking the door, and I am not talking about the cleaning service

the cleaner walked into our room early in the morning when we were still asleep i then complained a reception and then went back to bed, an hour later another one walked into the room!
