Hanger space is above space for luggage and it is a mess while there was plenty of space in the bathroom and to the left of the bed.

What I missed were slippers, coffee equipment in the room wasn’t renewed the second day, eucalyptus smell on the pillow I did not like and that there is no wardrobe to put your clothes in-in fact you can hang all your shirt and jacket on the wall

However, there was a conference group one day and the lifts had a 'room key' hanging off a string available to conference personnel to go to various rooms, they were obviously not residents.

Even the suites (which are spacious) are very plain, and do not have a real closet or dresser (just some hangers on exposed hooks and shelves on the wall).

There are no cupboards and more than shower gel you wont find in the bathroom.

There wasn't a wardrobe as such rather just some hangers and a couple of cabinets.

There is no closet, so that could bother some people, particularly if they are traveling in groups.

(The suites have a little "closet" with a few shelves,

I expect a cupboard in my room, not 3 bars sticking out of the wall with hangers on them to hang your clothes on.

It is a bit frugal, as expected from Park Inn: no enclosed space (furniture) for your things (just open-air hangers).

There was too much empty space and no closet or drawers.

On the down side was the lack of wardrobes or storage space for clothes.

Location is excellent and easy parking access to the hotel which was convenient with luggage.

Pros:
- Location: (Walking) Mariendom (7mins), Landestheater Musiktheater (10mins), Hauptplatz (12mins), Ars Electronica Center (17mins), Schlossmuseum Linz (18mins).

The location is great, just a few steps from the town centre and a pleasant 15-20 minute walk from the train station.

Perfect hotel position in the city center.

The hotel is centrally located and well connected with public transport.

Excellent location within walking distance to city centre, shopping and restaurants.

Good location close to the central tramway-lines.

stayed here for three nights on business, very pleasant hotel nicely located in Linz and pretty near to our customer.

we have stayed here before on 3 occasions and never had the need to write a poor review, until now.

Breakfast was quite a delusion because the choice was very poor in particular for those with authors allergies or dietary restrictions.

Except the entertainnent television channels were poor for english speaking guests.

To be justice:
+ for location ( very central)
+ for the room standard
- for staff (they were angry and had no service mind specially at breakfast)
- for braekfast (very poor and often food is finish so we had to wait)
- for elevators (normal to wait 5 minutes before it come with space)
- for hotel resturant (expensive and not testy food)
We would not take that hotel agaim

Overall we felt the total price for our stay was comparatively expensive - breakfast was extra to the room and offered a relatively minimal and poor quality selection for a high price .

On returning in the evening we were allocated the last TWIN room facing the main road.

So, we enjoyed our stay here; everything was easy, the room was good, and parking underneath the hotel was convenient.

We have done the check-in with Ms.Sarah (if I am not mistaken the name) and I could say she was a very helpful person, always smiling and ready to help.

Hotel guests and staff walk on the terrace and have full access to your room if your terrace door or window is open.

Nice modern hotel located centrally in Linz, a few hundred meters away from the main commercial streets, 5 min walk from the Xmas market, 15 min walk from the train station.

Located close to the main train station, this property is clean, well maintained and has all the essentials you need for a good nights rest.

We wanted to be near the train station to access transport to surrounding villages for genealogy research and using Linz as our hub worked out perfectly.

10-15 mins walk from the train station and 5 mins walk to City center.

Just 10 minutes to the center of action (if such place exists in Linz), and just 10-15 minutes' walk from the central bus or train station (about 1 km).

The location is very central and not to far from the train station.

Location is pretty good, just off the central shopping street and only a few minutes walk to the tram service that can take you to the main railway station.

The hotel is located centrally, within walking distance of the train station and the tourist spots.

The train station is also close, about a 20 minute walk (with luggage).

but still, the hotel is right in between the train station and the historical center, with trams right nearby.

The hotel, rated as a 4 star, is a modern, new and sophisticated hotel at Hesselplatz, 100 meters from the comercial Landstrass who leads to Hauptmarkt (main square) and in a 10 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof, the central train station and bus.

I have seen a lot of hotels,because  I travel a lot.But this hotel is one of those who deserves a praise.I don't have any complains.Everything is above standard.Breakfast is amazing.Personell  at the breakfast with their kindness make your experince even better with preparing you a coffe or tea.Specially a miss from Spain is outstanding.

So, in summary: A very good hotel for business or short-stay travellers, perhaps less so as a central hub for visiting the city of Linz

If you are travelling in business the location may be good

This particular hotel is, due to the nature of its business and its price point, not get anywhere close to these special experiences.

I would stay here only if on business and with offices to visit nearby, not for personal holidays.

Maximum for business with own internet i would  recommend.

A typical Courtyard business hotel of Marriott.

Was with my husband on a business  trip and liked this hotel very much.

The Courtyard offers everything, which is expected from a good business hotel.

Being business travelers, the reception at this Marriott Courtyard Hotel asked us for extra fees for W-LAN.

I stayed in Marriott for business purposes and we occupied the meeting room near restaurant.

All my visits are on business so my comments relate to a person travelling alone.

This is a great hotel in linz and I stay there for business quite often.

Modern, efficient, with its own garage and in walking distance to the city center.

Location is near the city centre so you can walk and enjoy the city.

but with a great location,  The Park Inn is modern and up to Marriott standards and very close to the city and the Arcotel is right on the Danube.

though it's not as close to the city centre, this hotel has large spacious rooms that are very clean and comfortable.

The hotel is close to the city center (Taxi to the center costs around 6€) and has its own garage.

Check-in staff were very welcoming and helpful and the communal areas of the hotel are clean, airy and well maintained.

There's no free breakfast here, and with the 10€ food and beverage credit, you will still wind up paying through the nose for whatever it is they offer for 24€ (it is unlikely to be much, as this is a Courtyard, after all).

Did not have breakfast as they charge €24 which is a too high price tag for a Courtyard breakfast.

As platinum member, you don't get anything except for 10Euro credit or 500 points, you don't get an upgrade.

and nastiness about the credit card - again, from a woman at reception.

though , is blocking my credit card several times repeatedly ,4 times to be more accurate, and not the correct amount.

Anyway I find a bit cheap that the coffee from Nescafé was not free (even if I could take it thanks to my platinum card).

In perfect american style they bill your credit card with an extra amount during the check in (in case you would be so greedy to use the frigobar without paying).

Unfortunately I experienced the same here 20 euro's car park, internet charges ( which were waived when I joined the frequent stay club ) breakfast not included.

We had problems using our Marriott cash card, this was not the hotel's fault

A little issue on checkout (wrong invoice I didn't check at the moment), promptly fixed via email.

The rooms are noisy with some aircon plant or other annoying noise and the hotel charges extra for internet which - in today's time really should be free.

Other shockers were the 4.5 euro charge for bottle of water in the room and the 19 euro charge for a full breakfast.

Because of the problem I experienced I was not charged.

The staffs are very friendly and energetic despite of late working hours during boxing day.

The internet works perfectly, service top, a very welcoming lounge and room, very friendly staffs- what more can one ask?

Checkin went smooth and the staff was super friendly and helpfull, we were asked if we wanted to upgrade our room for a small fee,

They base it on US$, thenn apply Fx to equate it to EUR and then install the credit That results in you spending EUR 20 (rouding it up to 20 with tips) at the bar and the running into a EUR 3.96 additional charge (Fx delta EUR 1.98 per person).

In the rooms they have wifi for money only.
