Staff was amazing and friendly, rooms were clean

Service was friendly, rooms were clean, location was great, plenty of good stuff here,

Some of the staff were friendly and helpful - some were not.

but you can’t beat the location, the friendly staff, the happy hours and free breakfast!

I want to stress that the staff, from the bartenders to the gentlemen chefs, are very friendly, helpful, and kind and make that part of the stay fun.

This hotel is always clean, friendly and in good repair.

I didn’t feel it was with the price I paid at all.

I encourage the Embassy Suites in Lincoln to please, either update their facility or lower their prices!

Overall, perhaps a little expensive considering the fact that it was dated

As you will know they charge premium prices for The Nebraska football game and you have a minimum 2 day stay!

however you pay each time you come and go.

You can valet park for a fee or there is self parking up the street for a lot less (we weren't even charged for one day of the parking, have no idea why!).

Parking has to be in city garage or the best bet is to pay a little extra and use valet.

The pull out couch mattress was crunchy from coffee being spilled on it, stains all over and we paid for a “premium corner suite”.

Even with issues and less service, the room was just as expensive with no reduction.

The only wanted to comp half of the upgrade fee and I complained.

Paid for upgrade to premium, had to call and ask if they still have the snacks, went down picked up the snacks, front desk acted like we were trying to get get another, paid for valet, they backed my car up 15 feet, and charged me $19 for that, have stayed at that embassy every time we stay in Lincoln, little disappointed, front desk clerk at check in Tuesday May 25 around 3 wasn't the usual friendly reception.

I don't blame any front-line employees because I doubt they get paid enough to police the hotel's published requirements on masks.

NO VALIDATION cost us $11.25   Completely unacceptable for an Embassy Suites.

So they can rent the room to another person tonight and get paid for the same room two times on this date.

Almost all of the rooms we have stayed in have bathrooms with ceiling issues and caulk and mold issues in tub/shower and sadly worn old tile on the floor.

The bathroom was disgusting and the showerhead kept falling apart.

however the rooms are outdated and smelled weird.

If you look up the cause of strong chlorine smell in a pool you'll see it is usually caused by urine.

In the bedroom, there was a stain or burn on the carpet, I couldn't tell what it was.

but breathing all over the buffet line is a very different thing.

My room reeked of cigarettes and armpits.

The room had stains on the carpets and sheets, and the room itself was very musty.

Second, even more disturbing, was that prior to using the toilet, there was urine stains on the back between the seat and tank(GROSS).

I had to wash my hair in sink that didn’t drain well. !

We stay here as often as we come to the city, this trip was a disappointment with the pillow cases stinking like an old man and the towels were still dirty with old mascara and makeup.

We were in a queen room on the 7th floor and our room was clean, it did have an unpleasant smell to it, like an old hotel.

but I had to be up at 5am so I was irritated.the next morning I was woken up by the smell of breakfast being cooked downstairs.

This was in the same case number and the reply was that I needed to address this with the specific hotel.

Front desk was always helpful, especially Neeraj and Micheal  on our last night.

The staff are pleasant and the water pressure is excellent.

The managers reception was a great touch and the Dock tailgate before the game was a great event as well.

Being as late as it was, we didn’t call down to the front desk for new sheets

I would think for the premium price that you're paying to stay there it would be a lot nicer and more accommodating! !

Unfortunately, like most older properties, our room's window HVAC fan was loud.

We had to fight with the AC a few times otherwise I would give the hotel 5 stars.

Room are ALWAYS clean and the air conditioner is always cold.

Second is the leaky shower head that wouldn't stop leaking, meaning an echoing dripping noise all night.

Despite that the heater in the pool and spa was broken and the cable for our television was broken, we had a nice stay.

When I took a shower the pressure went from good to poor and then from warm to freezing cold.

Pool and hot tub didn't work, and our AC unit was very loud.

The sofa bed was also directly in front of the a/c unit and blew ice cold air on my youngest daughter all night with no way to redirect the airflow.

Unfortunately the HVAC in our room was not well controlled.

We had a very large room and my daughter was sleeping by the air conditioner, so I asked for a fan as I suffer from night sweats.

The temperature in our room was easily controlled by a thermostat on the wall.

I do wish there was a setting on the ac/heater to have the fan run continuously.

We just tried to leave the fan run for the white noise.

The A/C keeps the room from being dead air stuffy like most others.

My only negative comment relates to our room, which had a rather noisy air conditioner unit that kept us awake off and on all night.

With them charging these outrageous rates the stay should have been perfect.

So even with a Hilton Honors Membership and a valid credit card we were turned away to go find another hotel late in the evening when many other hotels were already full.

They doubled charged me for my room and will not refund my money.

I cancelled my reservation and i still got charhed 185$ because they have a policy that u have to give 48 hour notice to cancel and not be charged i didnt have 48 hours to cancel i was on a trip for a funeral and couldnt make it to the motel in time so i canceled and still got charged

Booked the room through the customer service phone number on the loyalty card.

At the end of the stay, she had typed up a note to me saying she hoped our trip home would go well and then gave me a gift card for a restaurant and said she hoped this would make it a little better.

but those were only available in suites (no charge for upgrade).

Eventually, the man at the desk ran my charge card without a discount, then realized there WAS, in fact, a Verizon discount,

Why do you take credit cards to SAVE your room when you don't actually SAVE it?!?!

Upon arrival key cards were ready at front desk and only took seconds to check in.

Below Average,  After being involved in a winter storm needed to extend our stay we were treated very rudely and charged more for our additional night.

but also delivered our temporary cards to our room.

When we check in we typically are given a bottle of water, this time they charged $200.

They ensured I wasn't charged a penalty by the third party booker and went to great lengths to fix things

We were charged twice for our room and we are still trying to get our money back some 36 hours later.

), smoothing out difficulties (which they did when we checked in), and helping with particular needs (which they did by providing a stack of manila envelopes at no charge!).

We gave her another card which she said was approved.

but said I would be charged the full amount for the room.

John who checked us in was pleasant and friendly and willingly provided info on dining.

John was super friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

Staff very welcoming and especially friendly and wished us safe travels home at our departure today.

We weren't welcomed as Honors members at all, the wifi was not working our entire stay, the front desk was never staffed (instead there was a sign with instructions to call someone), my husband called and asked for more pillows and was abruptly told "No" and then hung up on!

I called this hotel directly, to make a reservation for my college daughter, who was traveling from Colorado to Minnesota.She turns "21' in 12 days, I didn't think it was too big of a request.

Mikki - the breakfast server - always said hello and asked me how I was doing.

I asked to be near the elevator and they placed us right across the Huallaga.

On our first time here 2 weeks ago Nelson was extremely irritated with us when we asked for the amount of our room.

The fact that the manager did not respond to my request speaks volumes.

The elevators were a bit slow so if this kind of thing annoys you then it might be in your interest to request a first floor.

I asked why aren't guests informed of the water issue when staying in rooms towards the end of the hall.

I asked to get another room and was told I had to stay in the room I was given

I do wish the desk clerk would have asked me if I had AAA or some other membership since I wasn't a Hampton Inn member.

but I switched because they were not accommodating for my request of my early check- in.

So I asked for a refund, they said the couldn't do that either.

I made the reservations via phone and was able to request adjoining rooms because we were traveling with another family.

but will request a room on the far side of the building from the interstate.

However, when we checked out, we asked about a discount for Verizon and were given a huge runaround.

Some rooms face the highway; request rooms on the non-highway side of the building,

We were impressed with the staff at this hotel.

Having stayed here numerous times I still believe this is a great location, a place with a caring staff and a hotel with nice amenities.

Tams at the front desk was cheerful and knowledgeable.

From the moment we walked into the hotel, we felt welcomed.

Our room was spacious, bed comfy and had a large work desk.

I was going to enjoy my weekend and have a lot of fun and the staff made everything easy and able to find easily and were very helpful and answered all questions.

but it was clean and the staff was great.

Tables clean and a staff there if you deserved anything else.

We try to always stay with Hampton, as we know exactly what to expect, and usually all exceeds our expectations; from the warm greetings from the folks at the hotel desk, to the room cleanliness, to comfy beds, to the abundance of extra towels, ( my favorite consideration), and the nice variety of breakfast offerings!

Not sure how someone so rude can be in such a guest-centric position.

All staff besides housekeeping were incredibly rude.

I came the next day to be greeted by Dave with his rude comment.

I think they recently changed their curtains in some rooms because they are designed to not close all the way and the street lights are blinding in our room - they the girl at the desk was rude when we mentioned that it would be helpful if the curtains could close all the way and block that light out.

When I asked about a senior discount he was almost rude.

but not the best, daytime front staff were rude when asking for more towels and for the room to be cleaned.

My only problem was the staff in my opinion was rude and not helpful at all!!!!

Very clean , very nice staff, beds are comfortable,  pull out bed not so comfortable,  swimming pool and hot tub very nice , every time we go to a husker game we stay here , nice location very close to alot of places

Despite lapses in facility upkeep, the front desk people display a cheerful, helpful attidude.

Note the elevator at this 3 story bldg  was broken  Things happen  I am noting so people that need a elevator  can verify  its been fixed my rating will be made assuming elevator was working.

There are enough other good things, that except for check-in and check-out, the slow elevator should be a non-issue.

but you can't see it due to the carpeting (so my youngest son twisted his ankle), the elevator is very slow, there is chipping paint in multiple places, there is an 'old' smell to the room, we could not get the temperature of our room regulated due to the air conditioner being old, the air conditioner smelled moldy, and there is mildew on the shower head.

Our initial concern was noise as we were directly across from the elevator on the upper floor.

On the down side: the elevator was old and slow, the breakfast left a lot to be desired and the complimentary coffee and cookies were a joke.

but we were right by the elevator so could be expected. .

The elevator, room, and hallway carpets are either in need of serious cleaning or need to be replaced.

My only complaint would be that the elevator, pool, and hottub are not large enough to accomodate very many guests; these areas were often busy/congested.

There are only 3 floors, so we took the top floor and walked up for exercise - the elevator could be terribly slow.

Be sure to find the stairs since the elevator is one of the slowest elevators I have had ever experienced.

The next morning, the elevator was "out of service"

There are some negatives though, none to really fuss over: Slow elevator (stairs still work great) and the TV remote would not work, I went to get fresh batteries and the desk clerk told me if that doesn't work, she'll get us another room.

Our room was on the ground floor close to the elevator and the ice machine.

It was near the north end, away from the elevator.

I had a lot of wants; away from the pool, not next to elevators, non-smoking, no pets nearby, etc.

My suggestion is to book early and ask for a room down the wing away from the elevator.

Staff was friendly and said they would have the toilet fixed.

Staff was always friendly and willing to assist and answer any questions.

Thank you for the friendly smile and warm welcome.

Whatever you need she will try to help, whether it’s directions, recommendations for stores & restaurants, extra toiletries, or just a friendly face & nice conversation.

but Melissa was so friendly and made us feel welcome.

The hallways smelled like someone had smoked a while ago and they never got the smell completely gone.

It was noisy to sleep with people running in the hallways .
