Everything from the check-in process to our room, complimentary breakfast and coffee and hot chocolate, to the views, just were spectacular! !

The complimentary breakfast included gluten-free and dairy-free options.

Rae in the complimentary breakfast also did a great job.

But note that there is complimentary breakfast and no other sit down spot for a meal.

This place was very comfortable and had a great view from its hillside perch of downtown Lewiston and the river.Really comfortable beds and very good free breakfast to start you day with.Had a laundry room on site if your traveling and need to do a load with was convienient.

The bed was pleasant and we slept pretty well, and as a Hampton had free breakfast included in all rates, which is always nice (although I'd've got it as a Hilton Gold anyway).

The complimentary breakfast is served to 10am, longer than others I've experienced.

They have a free continental breakfast every morning that was delicious, and fresh, ice-cold lemon water all day, and free coffee all day and night.

As we have come to expect from Hampton Inn locations, this facility was very clean, was in a safe location, had an extremely friendly staff and wonderful complimentary breakfast.

The complimentary breakfast before 6am was meager.

Breakfast was included and was fairly standard to what is offered in many hotels - scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, etc.

I saw this hotel was new and in a primo location with easy access to main roads and a wide variety of restaurants which the gentleman working the front desk made several great recommendations.

Located on top of a hill it overlooks the valley and river.

I pulled in to this Hampton Inn due tot he location and in comparison to other hotels in the area it looked nicer and newer.

The amenities in the Lewiston Idaho location are outstanding.

I will definitely be staying at this location when I return to Lewiston, Idaho.

During this trip we have stayed add several Hampton and and other brands and this location is by far the best.

Good location for just about anything in the valley and surrounding areas.

We enjoy staying at the Hampton Inn Lewiston because of the location and the amenities.

but not the last…We were well treated by the staff, the room was clean and scenic (we asked for a river view).

The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

Rooms were spotless and the food for breakfast was lovely.

The room was relatively clean, could have been vacuumed better, the TV screen was obviously cleaned with a dirty rag as it was very smeared.

Both my wife and I were pleased with our contacts with staff and how nice and clean our room was.

I have a routine of cleaning my entire room with Lysol wipes before unpacking and my room was IMMACULATE.

Every one was so caring, rooms were clean and when my room was cleaned they saw I used the make up wipes and left additional ones.

Cathie and Libby in housekeeping did a great job of making sure the room was neat and clean daily.

Everything was perfect, checked in at 6pm, quick check in, staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean, a/c worked excellent and the pool was very warm, kids loved it.

The staff was very attentive, the rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows were amazing!

The room was clean except for an m&m on the floor and toothpaste/brush left behind the blow dryer bag.

Suggest a room freshener as the room air was a bit stale.

The BAD: The shower had several areas of significant mold/mildew, the exhaust fan didn't work, there were fingerprints on the headboard frame and the AC/Heater unit was filthy (the front of the unit had not been wiped down in quite awhile and the filters appeared to have not been cleaned for months).

The only issue was that Lewiston itself really smells, there is a paper pulp plant in the town and it gives off a horrific odor when running, we wouldn't have minded so much if we didn't have the air on.

The drain plug in the bathroom was difficult.

The one other thing you might want to note, and which took us by surprise, was to find a very strange, unpleasant smell in our bedroom.

This door didn't close tightly and with poor ventilation in bathroom, bad odors from bathroom could be smelled in bedroom.

Each room I had the duvet smelled like old sweat.

but we chose the fourth floor with a view room and we’re quite surprised when we went to open the huge wall of drapes the cover of entire wall only to find one tiny window that was filthy dirty and was near impossible to even see from.

Also, 3rd floor has a chemical-plastic smell.

They did a sliding door for the bathroom; this reduces privacy in terms of odor seepage and, frankly, I find them annoying.

The hotel sits on the hill where we seemed to escape the smell of   the pulp mill.

but I wanted to say this place & the staff were absolutely wonderful.

Bobby greeted everyone each morning with his beautiful smile.

We were in the lobby waiting to be notified.

The staff were really nice and very helpful and it was really nice and quiet at night.

to the comfort of the room, including how quiet the rooms were, in spite of a large womens' conference, sports teams, etc.

Grateful to each of these employees for the million-gold-star treatment.

The staff helped us with dinner ideas among other things.

We chose remote key entry which worked perfect until we needed to turn on the room lights which required a door key, so we still needed to go to the Front Desk, defeating the purpose.

Do not like the short (regular) toilets and small view windows in room.

but unfortunately, the windows are very tiny.

I paid more for a room with a river view, and was disappointed that because of "energy efficiency," the window was narrower than the width of the AC/Heat unit, and not a whole lot taller.

The shower didn't have a shower curtain that would intrude into your shower.

I only wish they had a  jacuzzi spa by the indoor pool, and that the windows in the rooms were larger.

The window shades completely blocked out all light.

however I was shocked to see one small window in the room and the other sides of the curtains was a wall.

Overall, I found Rivertree Inn and Suites to be a very good value and I would stay here again if I find myself needing a room in the Clarkson/Lewiston area.

This is a jumping off point to the Snake River area, or the Route 12 Lolo, as well as on to Walla Walla and the wine country.

Front desk gal Dyan was great, very friendly and informative on the area.

We got the breakfast area right at closing time and there was plenty of food and we were not hurried to be done.

We were going to the Jet Boat Tour of the Snake river Hells Canyon area and the Hotel was about started.bout a mile away from where the boats.

This is our favorite place to stay in this area.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the pool was in excellent shape and clean area around.

Both areas had a tv, which is helpful with kids.

The people at the desk were very helpful and Laura knew a lot about the area.

The free breakfast was fantastic, pool & hot tub area is perfect to lounge around, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Very clean with nice small grass area for pets - breakfast is above average and there is a school field for a dog romp at the end of the block.

My Wife Sam and I come to the Lewiston Clarkston area every year to visit and enjoy the warmer weather.

The breakfast was simple and tasty and the eating area was very clean.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area with their pups!

Breakfast was great  I would definitely stay here again, if we were in the area.

but the rooms and pool area are beautiful!

The area is nice with the Snake river close by and excellent restaurants like Tomato Bro's close.

The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast had eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, etc as well as some delicious biscuits and gravy.

The breakfast was adequate; scrambled eggs, biscuits, tangerines and bananas, good coffee, Costco muffins.

Excellent hot and cold breakfast, eggs with/ without ham, very good coffee.

They have a pool, and breakfast in the morning.

Breakfast was hot both mornings, pool was nice and cold, the room was spotless, housekeeping even left us a sweet note to enjoy our stay!

We like the location, the suite with a separate bedroom, delicious breakfast and friendly staff.

For those of you who need an early breakfast.

Breakfast choices were good for a hotel breakfast.

Breakfast focused on quality as well as quantity; delicious eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, as well as bagels and cereal and other cold options, fed our whole group satisfyingly.

The breakfast selection wasn’t very good.

The breakfast had a large range of foods so pretty much anyone's nutritional needs could be meet.

The offered free WIFI and a morning breakfast that was very good.

The breakfast served in the mornings was very good!

I now have a dispute filed with my credit card company.

We were traveling with an EV and I had to go to the Port of Clarkston office (on the opposite side of Walmart) to charge my car.

The lady from the front desk came charging out towards us and said 'USE THE HOT TUB AT YOUR OWN RISK" AND THREW OPEN THE DOOR AND WALKED AWAY.

A 3 night stay resulted in $120 extra charges on the bill.

At check out staff couldn't explain to me why I was charged two different rates for my two nights stay and no one would correct it.

Avoid the suite entirely, total rip off, you can't sleep on the so called sofa bed and they'll still charge you the next day!

Most especially, do not be tempted by the lure of "suites" which are billed as "unique loft rooms" suitable for families.

For some reason our key cards were a problem, the wifi didn't work well even when I hard lined my laptop I still had problems with the connection.

I reserved with my credit card for late arrival and my reservation was still cancelled!!

but used a $25 credit I havd to reduce the price.

Fortunately we were charged only the normal dog fee at checkout.

We wanted real wine glasses, she delivered, we needed a wine bottle opener, she delivered, we need stamps for our post cards, she delivered.

I advised we were about 45 minutes away, and did she need a card to hold the rooms?

The morning front desk person is great, super friendly, a lot of local information.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful in sharing knowledge about local restaurants.

The staff at check in and check out was friendly and helpful.

Nice and clean with very friendly personnel.

All so the drain handle on the tub was loose and that was fixed with in an hour all so and Maintenance staff was so polite and friendly.

All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.

Pleasant stay - staff helpful and friendly; rooms clean, quiet and spacious; breakfast gets a 10/10 , - good variety, especially the hot items, and well presented.

The room was clean, the air conditioning worked, the WiFi was OK.

We stayed in room 127, a large clean room, near the outside pool.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the good repair and cleanliness of our room.

I found the room clean and well appointed.

The room was clean,quite and reasonable priced.

The staff were all very kind,  My room was clean and spacious.

The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating, room rates are reasonable and the rooms are always clean and comfortable.

but the beds are great, rooms clean and good breakfast.

Hot tub was nice, rooms were clean.. breakfast was your standard breakfast.

Our room was clean and comfortable and set up perfectly for pet owners (hardwood floors, outside access, etc.).

Upon arrival it looks very dated and smells old and musty, We entered the room the carpets were filthy and smelled of stale cigarettes and mold.

Unfortunately, their smoke filled our room.

Breathing Formaldahyde and acetaldehyde is not one of my favorite things to do

With the late arrival parking was a little challenging and there was a faint odor around the pool,

however there was a musty odour in the room.

We stayed in a "pet friendly" room that had such a stale odor I had to sleep with a scarf around my nose!

the smell when the door to the room was open was old, dingy.

At 15 minutes after midnight, the battery in the smoke alarm malfunctioned and started beeping.

The 1st floor room they gave us smelled bad.

Unfortunately that room smelled like a sewer.

Strong odor in room unfortunately probably from carpet/furnishings absorbing outdoor pulp-mill-like odor.

We found a urine soaked wash rag neatly folded on the shelf under the others  as we were packing to leave and the breakfast was lacking half the choices and made my tummy upset.

It smelled bad from the local paper mill and the entire river front seemed to be all industrial and not pretty at all.

5 - The smell of the room makes hit necessary to bring a bottle of Febreeze or similar.

The air smells a bit like a sugar beet factory area,

but there's nothing they can do to eliminate the stale smell of smoke.

Upon arrival I was warmly greeted by a fine gentleman who gave me exemplary service.

They are very dishonest and I recommend staying elsewhere in Clarkston not here!

Also, when I asked for wine glasses, they had them at the front desk.

The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home.

The staff at this location is fantastic, they work really hard to meet your needs.

There were holes in the curtains and they were so dusty.

Either one has to have the drapes pulled at all times, or be open to the 'world' walking by.

My room window had view of pedestrian aisle, so the curtain remained closed all the time.

The sliding glass door in our second-story "suite" opened onto a common exterior walkway that is a busy thoroughfare around the interior courtyard and pool area, so you can't open your curtains lest you become a zoo exhibit for the staff and other guests, one of whom actually stopped and watched us unpack for a moment.

but could definitely use new carpets & drapes.

If I had a window to look out, it would only be of a street.

But, you look out on it through a sliding glass door that is the only window in the room.

The lighting didn't help that much - it was a bit dark until we opened the curtains.

I wish there had been more than just dark curtains
