Nice hotel, very good breakfast menu, the restaurant on-site is very good.

We loved the breakfast at the Quay restaurant.

The lunch they served us was perfect, the dinner was very good, and the breakfast was perfect.

but the food was delicious and nicely presented.

Breakfast in the restaurant was well done each morning.

but the staff seemed good, the breakfast which was included was very good.

Next morning, I went down to try to find out about the restaurant for breakfast menu.

Going to give the Quality Inn Conference center (Clarkson Washington) a 4.5 hinge rating (Tom’s scale of 0-5, as the room (323) is top notch, with excellent lobby / lounge / full breakfast amenities.

Our rooms were spotless, beds very comfortable, included breakfast choices a delightful surprise.

In the morning a la carte breakfast using coupons.

Breakfasts at the Quai restaurant were included and they were among the best breakfasts we've ever had.

The grounds were well kept and the free breakfast in the adjoining restaurant the next morning was good.

Breakfast included and the staff are great.

Breakfast was included for us and had a good selection.

The next morning we took our breakfast vouchers and got a full sit down meal (which was included)   They took great care in the details of the hotel and property.

The food at this restaurant- The Quay is great especially because it’s free for breakfast

The lobby and halls have been updated, rooms are a bit musty and dated.

but the smoke from Canadian forest fires limited visibility.

In addition, there was an awful odor on one side of the bed.

but the room they gave us was musty smelling.

If your a smoker DO NOT go to quality inn in clarkston

Plus I room smelled like water at that head been sitting out for a while, plus I requested a roll away bed and they brought me in air mattress.

My nonsmoking room smelled of smoke and was very musty.

In my opinion some people are expecting a lot for a "budget motel" if your want to stay at a 5 star hotel then stay at one, and don't complain about the paper mill smell.

The only positive was the friendly staff and they said they'd look into the smell.

The room was small and cramped and there was a stranger odor of some sort

but where the window frame meets to tub it looks like dark black mold.

The towels were thin,the lamps were old style with the switches up under the shade, and minimal # of electrical wall outlets, 4 very small pillows on a king bed, and sewer gas smell in the stair well.

Unfortunately room 223 smelled like smoke

There showers and tubs and filthy I have on many time complained to the management.

There is a nasty smell most of the time as there is a pulp mill nearby.

$104/night for two people, two queens, non-smoking.

You'll smell that anywhere you stay in town.

The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfast had eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, etc as well as some delicious biscuits and gravy.

The breakfast was adequate; scrambled eggs, biscuits, tangerines and bananas, good coffee, Costco muffins.

Excellent hot and cold breakfast, eggs with/ without ham, very good coffee.

The breakfast offered standard fare and the buffet and seating area were clean.

Room was fantastic and breakfast was great!

but this place had really good breakfast burritos.

They have a pool, and breakfast in the morning.

Breakfast was hot both mornings, pool was nice and cold, the room was spotless, housekeeping even left us a sweet note to enjoy our stay!

We like the location, the suite with a separate bedroom, delicious breakfast and friendly staff.

For those of you who need an early breakfast.

Breakfast choices were good for a hotel breakfast.

The breakfast selection wasn’t very good.

Breakfast focused on quality as well as quantity; delicious eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, as well as bagels and cereal and other cold options, fed our whole group satisfyingly.

The breakfast had a large range of foods so pretty much anyone's nutritional needs could be meet.

The offered free WIFI and a morning breakfast that was very good.

The breakfast served in the mornings was very good!

I now have a dispute filed with my credit card company.

We were traveling with an EV and I had to go to the Port of Clarkston office (on the opposite side of Walmart) to charge my car.

The lady from the front desk came charging out towards us and said 'USE THE HOT TUB AT YOUR OWN RISK" AND THREW OPEN THE DOOR AND WALKED AWAY.

A 3 night stay resulted in $120 extra charges on the bill.

At check out staff couldn't explain to me why I was charged two different rates for my two nights stay and no one would correct it.

Avoid the suite entirely, total rip off, you can't sleep on the so called sofa bed and they'll still charge you the next day!

Most especially, do not be tempted by the lure of "suites" which are billed as "unique loft rooms" suitable for families.

For some reason our key cards were a problem, the wifi didn't work well even when I hard lined my laptop I still had problems with the connection.

I reserved with my credit card for late arrival and my reservation was still cancelled!!

but used a $25 credit I havd to reduce the price.

Fortunately we were charged only the normal dog fee at checkout.

We wanted real wine glasses, she delivered, we needed a wine bottle opener, she delivered, we need stamps for our post cards, she delivered.

I advised we were about 45 minutes away, and did she need a card to hold the rooms?

Upon arrival it looks very dated and smells old and musty, We entered the room the carpets were filthy and smelled of stale cigarettes and mold.

Unfortunately, their smoke filled our room.

Breathing Formaldahyde and acetaldehyde is not one of my favorite things to do

With the late arrival parking was a little challenging and there was a faint odor around the pool,

however there was a musty odour in the room.

We stayed in a "pet friendly" room that had such a stale odor I had to sleep with a scarf around my nose!

the smell when the door to the room was open was old, dingy.

At 15 minutes after midnight, the battery in the smoke alarm malfunctioned and started beeping.

The 1st floor room they gave us smelled bad.

Unfortunately that room smelled like a sewer.

Strong odor in room unfortunately probably from carpet/furnishings absorbing outdoor pulp-mill-like odor.

We found a urine soaked wash rag neatly folded on the shelf under the others  as we were packing to leave and the breakfast was lacking half the choices and made my tummy upset.

It smelled bad from the local paper mill and the entire river front seemed to be all industrial and not pretty at all.

5 - The smell of the room makes hit necessary to bring a bottle of Febreeze or similar.

The air smells a bit like a sugar beet factory area,

but there's nothing they can do to eliminate the stale smell of smoke.

There were holes in the curtains and they were so dusty.

Either one has to have the drapes pulled at all times, or be open to the 'world' walking by.

My room window had view of pedestrian aisle, so the curtain remained closed all the time.

The sliding glass door in our second-story "suite" opened onto a common exterior walkway that is a busy thoroughfare around the interior courtyard and pool area, so you can't open your curtains lest you become a zoo exhibit for the staff and other guests, one of whom actually stopped and watched us unpack for a moment.

but could definitely use new carpets & drapes.

If I had a window to look out, it would only be of a street.

But, you look out on it through a sliding glass door that is the only window in the room.

The lighting didn't help that much - it was a bit dark until we opened the curtains.

I wish there had been more than just dark curtains

They did have a to-go breakfast in the morning that brought you back to the days of covid

Front desk staff at check in was very friendly, the breakfast had several choices to set your morning off on a good note!

The to go breakfast bags are great too with lots of goodies.

The breakfast to go bag in the morning is definitely the best breakfast bag I have had at any hotel with many options!

All of the staff were encountered and especially the ladies inn the breakfast area, were very pleasant.

Nice, clean facility, professional staff, good breakfast, clean pool, large rooms with comfortable beds.

The breakfast in particular was nice as it featured egg-white omelettes and turkey sausage, foods that some health conscious folks appreciate!

The breakfast had excellent choices, and the tables were all nice and clean.

Breakfast was great and Tammy did a wonderful job just as well as her replacement did on the weekends.

Sharon the breakfast attendant was very sweet, kind and efficient and the room was spacious with the added bonus of a balcony!

The Breakfast is excellent with a great selection and again a very helpful waitress.

Great personalities on front desk, very accommodating, the best breakfast buffet with everything you could think of eating.

The free breakfast was delicious and the milk and cookies in the evening was a nice treat.

My fav part of this hotel is the breakfast.

They put us on the bottom floor which the entire hallway and room smelled of mildew and mold.

The housekeeper was across the hall and she told me the hotel had been waiting for a shipment of soap for weeks.

The were running all over the place screaming and even ran into several guest while on their hoover boards in the hallway.

The halls were in need of updating, along with the elevator.

but we were in the very middle of the hallway and I always wear earplugs.

Yes, the wallpaper in the hallways is dated and needs replaced.

The trek down the lonnggg, narrow hall was somewhat tiring for her.

Other family were also at this location at the same time and were also disappointed with their stay due to an impolite pet owner who did not clean up after their pet in the hallway and the way hotel staff handled the issue.

They gave me another room just down the hall.

but the parents apparently felt they could just send their children “outside”, which meant to roam and run around the halls, of the hotel, at all hours of the day and night.

I had to leave another motel after coming back from dinner with friends because, when I pulled back the sheets, I saw that the bed linens hadn't been changed (seriously--you don't want to know) and the room was honestly filthy.

Pay the extra $ so you dont get a room  above the smoker's.

It would be really sad if they all have a pungent funk.

The place just had that old motel odor about it.

There was kind of a weird smell in my bathroom,

though someone had been smoking in it. The manager apologised profusely, ( "We are a non-smoking facility.")

The riverside rooms have balconies or grass patios (grass areas have doggie poop stations if you bring your pet).

but the town of Lewiston smelled like boiled broccoli.

There is a bad odor in Lewiston, so we did not eat breakfast out on the deck.

A few times during the afternoon when I went out to stand I could smell that pulp mill smell.

but the smoke cleared on the second morning to reveal pretty views of the city and valley.

but it was just the paper mill smell that sort of lingers in enclosed spaces.

We did not smell the paper factory while we were at the hotel

If fortune smiles upon you, you won't ever find yourself in stinky Lewiston, Idaho (it literally stinks to high heaven because of a paper mill in town).

The sheets of the bed didn't smell or look like they had been freshly washed

Elevator and room were not clean, bathroom smelled and we brought our own sanitary wipes, didn't help.

The lobby furniture had dust all over it which continued throughout the hotel in to our room which also had stained sheets and towels, I really questioned if the room was cleaned at all to the point we went to Walmart and bought a blanket to put over the bed to sleep on top of.

I'm not sure when we decided as customers that it made sense to spend $100+ a night for maybe 10 hours in a bed and a few sheets of toilet paper 15 minutes in a hot tub and a few wet towels

Our room was not clean (found hair on towels and behind toilet.

And , could not get the plug to come out of the Jacuzzi to drain it , had to jam a pen in the plug to drain , towel rack in bathroom was hanging by maybe one screw , loosely .. Pillows cam in soft and softer versions , no Firms , and lastly , the balcony deadbolt wouldn't work .

On the third morning it was not amusing watching my husband dry off with a hand towel due to no bath towels being left in the room.

I stuffed towels under the door and turned on my television so I didn't have to hear them and also so they would realize how thin the walls/doors were.

We had to sit on a washcloth to avoid that issue.

The tile flooring and grouting are dark with dirt, and our bathroom floor was sticky until I  mopped it myself with a washcloth, which came out dirty.

I did notice that the pool towels were really thin and everyone looked like they were taking 3 a piece just to wipe off so they ran out of towels quickly.

but they gladly change out my towels and restock me if needed.

Linens are low-end; towels are thin; it's just a very basic place to lay your head.

I had to use all the towels in the floor.

but the bathroom smelled of "old detergent", like a washcloth that hasn't dried properly.

Complementary breakfast had a nice selection and the coffee was good.

The breakfast was also excellent: hot and cold selections - eggs, potatoes, bacon, toast, yogurt, cereals, juices, coffee, etc.

The room was clean and the breakfast was very good.

Breakfast is a variety of hot and cold items.

Donal makes sure I get the room I like if possible and Jenny does a great job with the breakfast.

Breakfast was amazing as well and had a great variety of foods.

The breakfast area and seating was excellent, with selections of fruit, juices and well made (with REAL food) egg, meat, waffle, bagle and other foods.

Rooms were spotless and the food for breakfast was lovely.

* 24/7 fresh coffee (& hot water, tea bags, cocoa mix) in front lobby * Nicely appointed fitness center (1 recumbent bike, 2 ellipticals, 3 treadmills, "all-in-one" gym" 2 benches, full set of weights, stability ball, yoga mat, etc., * Extended breakfast hours (6-10 am) for later risers, * lovely patio overlooking the river.

Jenny makes breakfast that is fit for royalty.

Everything from the check-in process to our room, complimentary breakfast and coffee and hot chocolate, to the views, just were spectacular! !

In the morning, we had a fantastic HOT breakfast!!! Yeah!!!

Large variety of hot and cold options for breakfast.

Other Hilton Hamptons have decent cold breakfasts and sometimes even some hot food.

The bar was a nice place to unwind after a long ride, and the breakfast buffet was the best “hotel breakfast” I’ve had.

Staff from front desk to housekeeping to breakfast host were very good at their jobs.

The complimentary breakfast included gluten-free and dairy-free options.

Breakfast table was a very pleasant surprise.

Suggest a room freshener as the room air was a bit stale.

The BAD: The shower had several areas of significant mold/mildew, the exhaust fan didn't work, there were fingerprints on the headboard frame and the AC/Heater unit was filthy (the front of the unit had not been wiped down in quite awhile and the filters appeared to have not been cleaned for months).

The only issue was that Lewiston itself really smells, there is a paper pulp plant in the town and it gives off a horrific odor when running, we wouldn't have minded so much if we didn't have the air on.

The drain plug in the bathroom was difficult.

The one other thing you might want to note, and which took us by surprise, was to find a very strange, unpleasant smell in our bedroom.

This door didn't close tightly and with poor ventilation in bathroom, bad odors from bathroom could be smelled in bedroom.

Each room I had the duvet smelled like old sweat.

but we chose the fourth floor with a view room and we’re quite surprised when we went to open the huge wall of drapes the cover of entire wall only to find one tiny window that was filthy dirty and was near impossible to even see from.

Also, 3rd floor has a chemical-plastic smell.

They did a sliding door for the bathroom; this reduces privacy in terms of odor seepage and, frankly, I find them annoying.

The hotel sits on the hill where we seemed to escape the smell of   the pulp mill.

Do not like the short (regular) toilets and small view windows in room.

but unfortunately, the windows are very tiny.

I paid more for a room with a river view, and was disappointed that because of "energy efficiency," the window was narrower than the width of the AC/Heat unit, and not a whole lot taller.

The shower didn't have a shower curtain that would intrude into your shower.

I only wish they had a  jacuzzi spa by the indoor pool, and that the windows in the rooms were larger.

The window shades completely blocked out all light.

however I was shocked to see one small window in the room and the other sides of the curtains was a wall.

Our sinks backed up twice and black soot/dirt was in our sinks.

The next room had something odd dripping down the side of the trash can in the bath.

but when I got to my room I rushed to get  a shower, only to find no water pressure.

but needs new pillows and bathrooms need a remodel.

Back of toilet completely filthy and disgusting.

Sheets are stained, pillows are yellowed with drool stains on them, air conditioner/heater door would not close, mirrors are dirty, carpet dirty.

I jumped up, looked around and saw the side table had crumbs and some stains from like a beverage and then the sink had also not been cleaned.
