We also found the bar area lovely and enjoyed drinks there before or after dinner.

We enjoyed the spa and the bar area too, we used go down for a round of cards and a drink before heading up to dinner each evening.

The hotel has a lot more to offer that we did not really use: A very nice bar area (with live music sometimes), Spa/sauna, a huge fireplace near the entrance etc.

A comfortable room and attractive public areas.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was superb and the reception area was warm and welcoming.

The facilities in the hotel were also excellent - the boot room was more than adequate, the pool area is great after a day on the slopes, and the bar has a really homely feel to it with afternoon tea served at 4 which was perfect when getting back from skiing.

These areas are really clean and well looked after.

Lovely to relax in this area in the evening.

The room was lovely with a balcony and there are a number of areas within the hotel which are full of easy chairs and areas to relax both internal and external.

The rooms are well appointed and the common areas are spacious and relaxing.

The pool and spa area are so relaxing, especially welcome after a day's hiking.

Although the bar prices may be slightly higher than other places, we are not big drinkers so we were quote content to remain in traditional pleasant surroundings of the hotel.

The breakfast bar was plentiful and something for every ones preference.

The service that we received from all staff (reception, waiter, bar and cleaning staff) was very good and friendly, going out of their way to help and guide us as needed.

With an indoor pool, a spa and a fabulouse hotel bar, it had everything we needed for a wonderful Ski holiday.

The facilites the hotel provides are very good, from the bar to the lounge, and the dining room to the spa-pool facilities.

Make sure the bar staff have put the right drinks bill on the right room, they just couldn’t get it right for our party of 6.

Their service throughout the week we were there was fantastic - reception staff, bar staff, restaurant staff and cleaners were all friendly and happy to help.

On previous visits to other hotels such as the Hotel Schloss Lebenberg in Kitzbuhel or the Orgler in Kaprun they left us a cold platter in the room

she even made sure our food was hot after we complained one evening that it was cold!

Cheese, cold meat, cereal, bread, croissants, yogurts, fresh orange juice, bacon and sausage.

The children would have soon complained if the pool was too cold.

but no point lazing by a cold pool in such cold weather.

1) Freezing cold pool we couldn't use, Jacuzzi not much warmer.

There was no apology of any kind and when I asked if the bikes were routinely safety checked before rental she through what can only be described as a tantrum, repeatedly stating that they were only checked if someone complained and then she stormed off.

although some locals complained the driving was a bit exuberant.

but considering the large number of people served, one cannot really complain.

I complained and thought if they can provide some alternative.

.but the answer I got was, that No one else had complained !!!

The pool and spa facilities were amazing with a great selection of saunas and steam rooms.

Also, they had very nice and peaceful pool and sauna facilities, which we also enjoyed much.

We made use of the lovely pool and spa facilities and enjoyed these.

Overall it is a nice hotel with good facilities we travelled  with Chrystals ski.

however the swimming pool area and the water was on the cool side.

My only regret was that I could not have spent another week or more relaxing with all their facilities.

We did not try and of their facilities, e.g.

Decent facilities in the Spa as well - dry sauna, 3x steam rooms, tepidereum, as well as a basic gym and decent swimming pool with separate hot tub.

The spa was lovely as was the pool and gym.

We found all the staff to be friendly and attentive, nothing seemed to be too much trouble

It should be noted that there is no a/c in the room, and whilst the weather was not particularly warm when we visited we found the room soon became stuffy.

but there is no air conditioning and the room was a bit too warm, especially overnight.

Be aware that there’s no air conditioning in the room and as a consequence, the room can get really hot during the day which was extremely unpleasant!

The only thing to improve would be to have A/C in the room for hot summer days.

The only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms which get hot at night and the duvets are too warm for summer use.

The lack of air conditioning in the rooms could have been a major draw back,

Rooms are very small, nothing to do with the 4 stars standard that you might be used to.

The shower cubicle was small in our room and we lost hot water on occasion.

Our room was very small (probably smaller than a Premier Inn, for example) and it was easily the most expensive of the three hotels we used in Austria.

We also found all the staff to be very pleasant and helful.

He is a polite gentleman  who is    amazingly fit.

And we had the most pleasant welcoming of all our trips (and we have traveled a bit. ).

The staff genuinely care about the customer experience and we always felt welcomed and looked after.

Special mention to Bernadette for her assistance during our booking and friendliness whilst there, and to Emil our restaurant host, an absolute star!

The whole team at the Tirolerhof made our stay very special….it’s a wonderful hotel.

In fact all the staff were excellent, even the breakfast expert was very jolly - all a pleasure to chat to and receive guidance from.

Wolfgang the hotel's resident hike guide does a really professional and caring job and thus we see parts of the region we would not have without Wolfgang's help.

The WiFi was weak with very low speeds; we generally used the free WiFi up the mountain which was much faster and more reliable.

There was no negatives other than slow WiFi

2nd important thing was wifi connectivity is one of the worst I have experienced.

The only negative was Wi-Fi was intermittent

Poor internet, no privacy, hot with no AC, rude service, racism agains colored people , very bad quality furniture , no survice at all , no food , TV WAS NOT WORKING , no complimentary water or water boiler

but a big No No is that they only have WiFi in the lounge and bar, that’s really not Okay for 2018!

But, in a hotel like this, we shouldn't be on the internet anyway.

Really great staff, nothing was too much trouble, great advice about trips and things to do in the general area.

Hotel has a great bar and is perfectly located for exploring the town and wider area.

The bar area is a lovely place for an after dinner drink.

The skiing was brilliant  and we popped over to Kaprun for a day and it was a  lovely area.

We have a second bedroom for the large teenager, a kitchen dining area, separate toilet and bathroom with separate shower and bath, loads of storage etc.

We made the most of the week enjoying the natural beauty of the area and look forward to returning in the future.

The food is incredible and lovely relaxing bar area for drinks after skiing.

Great location with superb views of the lake and just a few minutes walk from the town centre, ski lifts, railway station (direct train to Salzburg) and stop for buses to other ski areas.

The restaurant and separate bar area was again very cosy - plenty of cushions and candles and easy listening music creating a lovely ambience.

Sani, Willy and the team do a wonderful job making everyone feel welcome and while the Seehof's original charm is still present, a lot of great work has gone into updating the bar and dining areas which have a wonderful, warm, family friendly, social feel to them.

The hotel provides a room for your skis and boots, the latter area being heated.

Incredible location for the slopes and the amenities of the town, just a short walk away from some lovely bars.

Close to the PostPlatz where local buses ran for all of the skiing venues, as well as a lot of the eating venues and bars for the expected apres-ski.

The views from the dining room are beautiful and the prices in the nice warm bar were not ridiculously expensive.

The food is fantastic, we was half board, hot and cold breakfast and 3 course evening dinner plus salad bar.

Our half board option was meat, fish or veggie option each day, with soup, salad bar & dessert.

Hotel seehof has a very warm and friendly feel from the cleaners to the bar staff to the manager.

but everything worked and ,Hey, it was a ski trip so out on the slopes or at the bar most of the time.

Dinners are taken in either the bar, my choice, or on the lake facing terrace, the local’s choice.

We loved the cosy atmosphere of the bar and restaurant.

We asked if there was anywhere where we could get some food and Anita who was at reception sat us in the bar and offered us the Restaraunt menu,

It is also 2 minutes from the main Apres ski bars.

Bars and restaurants are also just a couple of minutes away.

The atmosphere in the bar is relaxing and welcoming, and a great place to chill.

Good value they did not over inflate the prices which was refreshing so we did have a few night in the bar.

The hotel warns of some noise due to proximity to the railway line, there are even ear plugs in the room,

don't be. Wear some ear plugs ( They are provided) :)

but to be honest we never heard them when in bed and they do provide ear plugs.

but the trains passing by do have a charm factor of bygone times and beside you're out of the room for most of the time (though they do provide ear plugs for those light sleepers).

but after being given ear plugs on the 3rd night I slept a little better.

The hotel has obviously checked their reviews and have also provided ear plugs - which frankly are not required.The noise from the railway is minimal.

They do provide ear plugs, though, so we are not the first ones to have this problem.

That said there are ear plugs should you feel you need to use them.

When we saw ear plugs were provided we were worried about noise as the train runs just outside, there wasn't a problem when the double glazed windows were closed you didn't hear any noise.

This hotel would be in an ideal location if it didn't look out over train tracks (with frequent trains passing by) and a main traffic street (. the ear plugs provided at the bed side should have been a warning!)

but it didn't particularly bother us (they also provide two packs of ear plugs, just in case!)

Ear plugs are essential if at the front of the hotel.

but probably because the beds were so comfortable and the room temperature was perfect; even when we kept the window open the trains and church never disturbed us.

Our side of the hotel was 50mtres from the old Church and if you leave the windows open in the room you get a rude awakening by the bells at 7.30 each morning

but this did not take away any of the charm and we did not hear the train unless we had the window open.

but they are hardly of any use..also, due to no air conditioning, it can get really hot sometimes, and you are forced to leave the windows open, which results in more noise coming from outside of trains, people talking, etc.

although there is a train line just outside the hotel, we were not troubled with the noise (unless we had the window open).

We often had to leave the window open, it was so hot.

however, this was only really loud with the windows open.

However, with windows closed this didn't present a problem for any of us, even with windows open it didn't present any problems for me.

From the minute we arrived we were greeted so warmly, Our dinner was arranged while we took.our bags upstairs, and freshened up for dinner.

What sets this hotel apart from other places are the amazing staff - they are kind, genuine, fun and the amount of repeat guests staying whilst we were there says it all!
