The staff was amazing, food was delicious, the hotel was perfectly located walking distance to the beach and shopping center.

Steps away from the beach and surrounded by all the cafes, salons, restaurants that you need including the farmer’s market.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, shopping or restaurants.

We booked the beach package where we had access to the private beach and were provided with a beach bag and towel.

The beach package with Le Goeland is particularly good as they reserve sun loungers each day and the restaurant on the beach is expensive

The location was also great, 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Staff are very friendly , give you great tips for restaurants , they have nice partnerships with the beach restaurants for access to a relaxing day by the beach.

It is in the central location close to the beach and Promenade de la Croisette and Palais des Festivals.

We also enjoyed the private beach with a delicious restaurant.

The location was fantastic minutes from everything, including trains, the harbour, restaurants and the beautiful boulevards.

The hotel is within easy walking distance to the train station, beaches, old town, marina, casino, everything.

The breakfast is extended continental with a variety of juices, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, baguettes, toast, tea and coffee and more.

We highly recommend this small beautiful boutique hotel, the staff could not be more attentive with a smile on their faces every day -  they cater for your every need - I am Gluten Free and have a continenal breakfast ach morning which keeps you going all day!

From the breakfast to the nightly cocktail hour, the staff is ready to serve you as if you were one of the celebs at the film festival.

Breakfast is very pleasant and the wine tasting with nibbles offered early evening makes an excellent start to the evening ahead, then returning to a tastefully decorated room and the most comfortable bed!

Also in a great location as literally minutes from the bus/ train station at the end of the road( did not make the area noisy though) and La Croisette with all the restaurants also minutes away!

It is situated five minutes from the train and bus station and ten from the beach and La Croisette (which isn't too be missed).

This is a wonderful hotel-great location close to shops & restaurants on Rue d'Antibes, La Croisette and Rue Meynadier.

It took us 5 minutes to reach La Croisette, the markets, or the main shopping street.

It's far enough away from the Promenade de la Croisette that you don't get caught up in all the tourist and cruise-boat-shore-excursion traffic every time you walk out the front door,

This is a boutique hotel with a beautiful 1920's original lift, nice decor (I love rich red colours) and great location not far from La Croisette and the station.

The hotel is really well located for everything in Cannes - about a 10 minute walk to La Croisette / the beach (we booked the beach access offer which was great) / the restaurants and bars / the shopping area or even the old town.

The hotel is located really close to the train station - we visited Monaco for the day and the beaches and restaurants of la croisette and le suquet.

The hotel is very convenient for the train station, buses along with the town centre and La Croisette.

We were offered a lengthy happy hour (3 hours) each evening and a well-resourced continental breakfast bar - just what you want as you start and end your days of exploration along the Riviera and especially in the Old Port for supper - no need to get expensive down along La Croisette!

The Hotel is surrounded by all shops necessary and only 7 walking minutes away from La Croisette and the beach.

Surprisingly close to the Old Town and La Croisette - clean, friendly and really good value.

Le Cavendish is ideally located, about 5 minute walk from the beach and La Croisette.

It is a 2 minute walk to the train station, 5 minute walk from la Croisette and 6-7 minute walk from Hotel de Ville (where the airport bus will drop you - going back get it from the train station).

The hotel has the perfect location for exploring Cannes as it’s a bit off the water yet still a 10 minute walk to the Le Suquet (Old Town), La Croisette, and beaches.

Cannes is beautiful and only 10 -15 minutes walk to La Croisette.

Having been to Cannes, I would definitely be willing to pay a premium to stay between Rue Jean Jaures and la Croisette, or alternatively over by Quai Saint-Pierre.

This hotel situates in max 7 minutes walking from Promenade de la Croisette.

Its well positioned being only 5 mins walk to La Croisette and the best shopping streets.

It's such a lovely hotel, small and intimate not a large corporate chain and it's in a great location.

We spent a few days in Cannes before our cruise on a liner to sail on the Mediterranean,

small hotel with about 30 rooms located on a busy and noisy boulevard,

I am not so much into the charm of old Hotels with small rooms and tiny bathrooms, so would normally have given 3 stars.

Me and my boyfriend's luggage barely fit in the room and the bathroom was as small and as dark as a closet.

but, though having the washroom a bit small , nothing was missing in there.

The only downside was the pillows were uncomfortable and the room quite small,

The free bar is in quite a dark small room so we didn't use this

butts and could do with a bit of painting.

The bathrooms are a tad on the dirty side as well with mold starting to grow in between the tiles and splash marks on the mirrors and walls.

The rooms are all non smoking and the lady at the front desk did not care nor did she ask them to stop smoking/investigate so I had to live with it.

The only slight criticism would be the that the tiling in the shower needed re grouting as a lot of it was mouldy.

or obviously replacing unwanted food (absolutely disgusting), left me feeling ashamed to be from the same country.

The only downside for us was that our room always smelled of cigarette smoke.

but these were slightly larger, had the rounded front, charming details (herringbone wood floors, ceiling moldings).

Who would have thought since breathing costs you about 10 cents each breath in this country.

The two negative things I can think of is that we had to remove the drain cover from our bathroom sink in order for the water to drain, and our showerhead spewed water until my boyfriend fixed it.

All in all Cannes was expensive and many of the people there filthy rich.

From the nauseating smell of burning candles downstairs to snobby staff who clearly hates Americans, this is not a place to stay in Cannes.

Great breakfast buffet, which we have some mornings and others we will walk to Lenotre or one of the beach restaurants.

Hotel breakfast is awesome and has tons of choices.

Housekeeping was very good , breakfast was  really good.

Excellent restaurant and wait staff for breakfast and other meals.

Breakfast buffet was wonderful, tons of options plus you can order eggs any style, Along with pancakes and waffles.

We enjoyed a fantastic buffet breakfast daily and the restaurant staff was awesome.

Food and drinks from the buffet offering (both breakfast and lunch) were of the utmost quality.

The breakfast was excellent and the service was top notch.

The food especially the calamari appetizer was yummy!

Breakfast was spectacular, so don't forgo that benefit if you are an elite member.

This hotel is well located and has nice friendly breakfast staff.

After staying at quite a few hotels in the south of France, this hotel’s breakfast is the best around.

They acknowledged our Anniversary with some bubbles and a delicious "dolce".

A booking confirmed with a credit card should be a binding contract.

It’s one my extremely bad experiences at JW Marriott , if you are a loyal member or you have titanium or Ambassador status  with Bonvoy program do go their , or even you think to use some of your points , this hotel like only cash payment or open credit , it’s very disappointing and it’s now to be back, they charge half of the original room price extra because of sea view room and they even they don’t upgrade my room, note that booked my room 150 days ago.

Because if you need to charge a phone , you have to unplug the lamp at night.

The only negative is the beach club, very expensive and not really affiliated with the Marriott, you cannot charge to your room nor do you get any discount for staying at the hotel.

but the smoking smell in the room like hell we couldn’t sleep at night cz of that smell and specially at night I don’t know if from the AC or from the lobby , what I know it’s désastre , there mattress should be changed when u sleep u feel u want to run to the middle of the mattress 
Even I’m a member in jw but I found that in 2022 still jw charge there customers 10 euro for the internet , seriously where are we in which year guys , anyways u guys should act fast and do some professional step to be able to survive

two males enter the room to make up the bed and whilst I am sitting in the corner charging my phone which was by this point ‘completely out of battery’, one of the males looks at me, leans over me with his finger pointed in my face and shouts “no telephones and no videos” I’m sure you can imagine my complete and utter shock at both this and his threatening behaviour.

If you try to get an answer from them why they overcharged you they just ignore you.

There was a white ticket on the tray which I did not take…I just took the cutlery…I sincerely hope it was there was not a charge.

Double check the bill and informed them for the charges to be voided.

The hotel graciously let me check out without penalty, charging me only for the one night I was there after I said I wasn’t happy with the hotel.

but unless you complain at reception they want to charge you for WiFi outrageous liberty and €6 for a soft drink in mini bar is too much?!!

Rooms does not offer sufficient outlets to charge your telephones, iPads, PC.

I'm certainly not impressed by the JW Marriott, CANNES,FR and they should NOT be charging the rates that they do!

but its okay Mr. Fadi Sursock sent us a fruit plate to the room and a card which was a very nice idea, sadly we had to eat the fruits like barbarians with not cutlery.

but no bananas and requested for it but charge us extra for this request.

we forgot our second electric adaptor to charge all our phones and tablets

As PP, I had to have multiple conversations with the staff to inform them of the Marriott Rewards amenities so that I wasn't charged.

Budget travellers  beware on arrival at the hotel the receptionist will ask for your credit card and 'block' the card at the rate of 100 euros per night for incidentals i.e.

but its means absolutely nothing, because all hotels that have the beach (e.g., Carlton, Martinez) charge in-house guests extra for the beach use.

Dead quiet, and right on the best street in Cannes, the Promenade de la Croisette.

We're having, right now, a wonderful stay in this sea-front hotel, JW Marriott branded, on the famous Boulevard de La Croisette in Cannes.

Located at the famous La Croisette Boulevard, it is near everything you want to see in Cannes and very close to the Gare de Cannes train station that allows you to visit other beautiful places around the Côte d’Azur such as Nice, Monaco, Marseille,etc.

The JW Marriot is perfectly located on La Croisette, right in the middle, equidistant from the old port and new port.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and perfectly located halfway along La Croisette.

but this one is very good and the locations is great, next to la croisette and the main centre of Cannes city.

The location of the hotel is perfect to start a walk down the main promenade La Croisette.

But can you believe that this happened in a suite, room 142 overlooking la Croisette.

We spent a few days in this strategically located hotel on La Croisette, very near the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès and very close to the Rue d'Antibes.

The hotel is has a superb location - right on the la croisette with good view of yachts and sea .

The food is exceptional and the setting is so lovely watching La Croisette  and boats beyond.

Not only strategically located along the Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes it is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and everything you would need.

The corner suite was one of the best rooms I have ever head, the balcony with the view of the Bay of Cannes and Promenade de la Croisette was a great place to just sit and enjoy the view while having room service or watching life go by down below.

I loved the location on La Croisette: most famous street in Cannes where you have access to all great boutiques near the hotel and the beach is right in front of it!

To me it's very wrong for a hotel to make a mistake and change the rate unilaterally.

This hotel has absolutely no right to charge the same nightly Rate as its neighboring properties.

but what they fail to mention is the beach is a private club in which you must pay to use.

Al thought at first it seemed a bit pricey, once I arrived I felt differently.

My only complaint is the cost for a chaise lounge at the beach is extremely expensive and exorbitant.

I paid over 1500 euros a night and would never in my wildest dreams think that they are so greedy that they need to come up with extra charges for things you don’t have ordered or used and refuses to leave an explanation or anything.

though I had requested and paid for a bigger) physically stank.

We had to pay a very expensive rate at the private beach club next to the hotel instead.

I am really pleased we added breakfast on at the time of booking as paying at the hotel did work out more expensive €22 per person at the hotel.

I told the receptionist it is crazy as e online rates are cheaper to book.

I’ve stayed in JW Marriott resorts around the world and, unfortunately, I have to rate this hotel as poor, nearly terrible.

I absolutely would not expect that with the prices charged at the hotel.

The rooms were ‘ok’ and that is not great for a hotel of this price.

The worst expensive hotel we have ever stayed at.

Positioned in the middle of the main promenade, the hotel is easily accessible and within walking distance of all key local attractions, restaurants and bars.

The JW Marriott Cannes has a fabulous location in the heart of Cannes promenade and close to the Film Festival Hall and all of the must see places.

I spent a few days at the Marriott in Cannes  -what a wonderful hotel, its a great location, right on the promenade, lovely spacious rooms, very clean and tidy.

Lower priced beach club options exist on Plage du Midi, located about a mile down the promenade,

There is a pool on top of this hotel if you like to use it and the view of the promenade.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with nice outdoor seating overlooking the promenade.

Location is great - right on the promenade.

but as we were directly across the street from the promenade, taking a jog by the yachts was by far the better choice for exercise here.

Being a relatively new property, the rooms are great, spacious and when compared to other 5 stars properties on the promenade, it would be HUGE.

Location just across the promenade is perfect and I managed to grab an hour to see a bit of Cannes, what a lovely place.

Overall this is a lovely hotel with top notch staff and well worth the cost to stay right on the promenade.

Upgraded to a lovely junior suite - Hotel is very located on the promenade - good service and top class restaurant.

The location is great, you are right on the Promenade de la Croisette and within walking distance of everything.

Located on the water on the main promenade, this hotel proved to be a great base for our visit.

Of course the prime location on Le Croisette with beautiful views from the terrace and rooftop is a must.

Staff were unfailingly professional, competent and friendly, across reception, restaurant, and terrace bar.

I was sitting on our terrace, and noticed a cleaner the next  one over almost pretending to "dust" the railing, staring at me,

The sunset terrace which has recently opened is worth a visit late afternoon- lovely sun trap and perfect for a few cocktails.

Also closed was the rooftop restaurant and a terrace area for the entire 5 days we were there.

but has a very nice open air terrace on the Lobby level.

We spent a couple of days relaxing on the beautiful terrace and even enjoyed sitting outside in the evening enjoying the beautiful views.

At the fifth floor there is a huge terrace, with a small swimming pool in the middle, where you can suntan quietly.

We still enjoyed the terrace very much due to the views.

Service is good and  the outside terrace nice.

For a Platinum member breakfast is included in the rate and we thought the food was very good and enjoyed eating on the terrace.

Roof terrace quite nice for sun lovers, pool is small.

We stayed on the 5th floor where there is a rooftop pool and terrace with fabulous views over the bay.

All staff of JW are very pleasant and hospitablel. Consierge Team is very helpful, especially Philip, Gregory and Karim who are also very experienced as they 've been there forever:)
The rooftop terrace opens exceptional views if your room doesn't,

The hotel is in a great location and it has a fantastic view of the beach and most of Cannes from the roof top terrace.

The rooftop terrace is a baking oven of a concrete slab with tiny round swimming pool best suited for Jacuzzi.

but lunch on the top floor terrace is a must.

The bar on the roof top terrace was closed.
