She’s just sitting there on a personal phone call and blurts out “it will be 30 minutes”.

On calling the front desk/ guest services, we were told that construction was happening in the lobby and we could get ear plugs!!

The phone system is about to be “upgraded” in a few hours, so the only way to reach the front desk is in person…in line behind the gazillion people waiting to check in.

The managers kept promising that the points were issued and they refused to call me back.

I do as I always do in a room check out the cleanliness, the whirlpool tub had a ring around it, the body wash was empty and the coach was horrible…upon siting on the couch you sunk straight down it was very uncomfortable.

Knowing how hard it is to trace the source of second-hand smoke, and with it being my last night, I didn't bother to call the front desk

but at least one phone call during our stay to check on us or “schedule” a cleaning  like other resorts on the strip would have sufficed .

I told them to call housekeeping, and they said housekeeping wouldn't answer them.

We had to use the living room plugs for our phones and then some of those were worn as well.

Dust on the lamps, dust on the bathroom mirror, dust on the phones, dust on the coffee machine, dust on the tv remote controls, etc.

We had to call 4 times to tell them we wouldn’t be arriving until midnight because our flight was delayed and only  on the 4th time did we find a person who could actually find out hotel reservation.

but no one has more than 2 bars on cell phone.

It got to the point where I stopped answering calls from Hilton. Lastly, the line at Starbucks in Elara is always 20-30 deep (in the morning for sure.)

but I had to call Hilton when I hadn't received it three days later.

Rather than the local staff offering to do anything about it, they said we’d have to call customer service!

CONS
Disappointed to see many amenities missing in the room and to message or call for every item Including hairdryer and pots/pans for the kitchen.

I had asked for a wake-up call -- which was done by a real person --

Wednesday I again had to call and was frustrated knowing I only had 1.5 days left and still no service.

It is also great to be able to go down and have a direct entrance to the Miracle Mile shops and restaurants, as well as only about a hundred yards from the Planet Hollywood Casino and all it has to offer.

Great location can go shopping at the miracle mile shops and get to Planet Hollywood casino.

It is connected to the planet Hollywood casino and magnificent mile mall.

The Planet Hollywood casino is a short air-conditioned 5-min walk away.

Since I do gamble, I stopped in the Planet Hollywood casino which they boast is attached to the Miracle Mile shops and a close walk to the Elara.

The location is perfect - connected to Planet Hollywood Casino, and within walking distance of all the other major casinos on the strip.

Walk right out the hotel into the mall to excellent food, shopping, and Planet Hollywood casino.

The Planet Hollywood Casino is just steps away, so you could gamble as much as you liked,

The Miracle Mile Shops (which are attached to the resort) and the Planet Hollywood Casino have signage indicating only non-vaxxed individuals mask up.

Beautiful non smoking clean resort within walking distace to the Mile Marker Mall, daiquiri shops, high-end shopping, plenty of dining options, Planet Hollywood casino, & entertainment.

The hotel is in a good location right above the Miracle Mile shops and next to the Planet Hollywood Casino.

It’s connected to the Miracle Mile shops, which also connects with Planet Hollywood casino.

Hotel is central strip was a short walk to MGM the lobby exits right onto Miracle Mile shops and Planet Hollywood casino also Cosmo is across street which is very plush and huge sports book.

Another added benefit of this facility is its close proximity to both the Planet Hollywood Casino and the Miracle Mile Mall.

However it is attached to the Miracle Mile shopping center which is attached to the Planet Hollywood Casino (so you can go to the Planet Hollywood Casino without going outside and it is about a 5-8 minute walk from the Elara).

Ideally situated near the Magnificient Mile and the Planet Hollywood Casino.

but is so close to planet Hollywood casino it doesn’t need one.

This property is centrally located and connected to the Miracle Mile shops through which you can reach the Planet Hollywood casino if you want.

The Elara is has a great location directly behind the Planet Hollywood Casino and connected to the Million Mile Mall.

even though this property doesn’t have a casino, we played at the attached Planet Hollywood casino.

After complaining to the front desk (where the attendant insisted that the sewage smell was coming from the street outside.

This is a non smoking hotel and you do not have loud music or noises like most casino resorts do.

The janitor’s entire bottle of enzymes was no match for the stench.

The drains stink of sewer gas…52 floors up.

The hot tub(which was the main reason we booked this hotel) was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!

I guess marijuana smoking is tolerated in the rooms and throughout the hotel as I noticed it in many areas.

Overall---the smoke issue was so minor that I would definitely consider this hotel again for that peace of mind.

When entered, we were surprised at what a dirty nasty room like this was.

I specifically chose Elara because it is non gaming, non smoking.

My mother-in- law had to wear a mask because it was affecting her breathing.

Our room had a raw sewage smell so bad that they had to move us from 2 different room.

When we first walked in, there’s a smell of rotten eggs.

However, The room smelled like rotten eggs or worse.

Happy to get out of the noise and smoke of the casinos.

(I will note, too, that the shower on the 33rd floor did not drain too well. But, there were no sewer smells that another poster mentioned.)

Additionally, we experienced a nasty sewer gas smell in the master bath our entire stay.

Debris and hair started coming out of the Jets.

However, when we arrived we found a huge crane blocking our view from the suite, and daily construction noise and smells from the air-ducts.

It had no musty/mildew smell and to use the dryer function you just push the dryer

The 3 bed king suite was so spacious it easily accommodated my family of 5 and views of sphere and centre strip were awesome.

From the higher floors (we were on 23) there are great views of the Sphere (north facing rooms/odd numbers) or the MGM, Luxor, Excalibur, etc (South facing rooms/even numbers).

Fast elevator to top floor with a great view of the surroundings.

I did ask the representative if there was any way to upgrade the room to a nice view.

There are floor to ceiling windows that you could see Las Vegas all the way to the mountains.

The rooms are very nice, I stayed in a studio with kitchenette amazing views and super clean.

The view of the Sphere is a new added benefit.

Our room was immaculate and had the most incredible view of the desert mountains and the ever-entertaining sphere.

And on the high floors, breathtaking views of & to the north Strip, mountains and the brand-new Sphere.

The north side has a view of the Sphere and the east view of the Formula One race track, scheduled to open in the middle of November 2023.

Huge floor-to-ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the mountains and new “Sphere” (which annoyingly stays lit 24/7 so you have to close the shade or wear an eye mask to get any sleep).

Specific to our room, everything worked well and as expected, a glorious view of Las Vegas on the 53rd floor.

The views were amazing, and the room was clean and comfortable.

After paying full price (over $450/night) I was given stunning pool view from the 7th (Seventh) floor while I asked for a high floor the receptionist acknowledge that high floors are given to "potential buyers". ..

The floor to ceiling windows provided beautiful vast Vegas views (Hint: get an upper floor).

So the good/amazing - our room was on the 56floor and the view was perfect day or night Vegas always gives you a fab view.

We stayed on 25 th floor, had a view of the new Sphere & Eiffel Tower.

Cons  their was construction going on and their was a flyer for this.

I did phone and speak to Carol who so kindly said nothing we can do, the construction is at the Cosmo.

The place is dated, because of the construction we ended up with view of a wall.

.their was obviously a construction and it was tough to find the parking possibilities and if it took any longer I would've carried that car there without driving 20 minutes through that garage. .

The pool was not really usable - there was netting over head- I suppose to protect from nearby construction- and had very little sun.

One issue is that there is a lot of construction going on literally outside the front entrance, so you have to navigate the construction zone if you are heading for Vegas Blvd.

True, during the construction 6 years ago it was loud and inconvenient.

We hadn't been for a long time due to the construction and renovations.

The main door isn't obvious especially with the construction going on,

I would not suggest that anybody try to sleep during the day because there was some sort of construction noise that was extremely loud even on the 5th floor.

Be prepared for lots of heavy truck, bus and construction traffic on the side facing the Bellagio.

The resort is connected to the Cosmopolitan casino, and just across the street from Planet Hollywood casino and resort, which is also connected to a shopping mall.

It is right across the street from the Planet Hollywood Casino, the Paris Casino and adjacent to the Bellagio.

PFChangs is across the Strip from the Jockey club along with Planet Hollywood casino and shops.

but we took one and this place shows you 2 models that have a great massive view of the strip and the belagio .

Depending on which tower is your room, you may get lucky and get the view of the Bellagio fountain.

We also had a view of the Bellagio fountains which was fantastic.

We stayed in room 1034, with a brilliant view of the strip and Bellagio fountains!

This is the 3rd or 4th time we have had a view of a wall.

We paid $100 a night and had a view of the Bellagio fountains.

It has a magnificent view of the fountain.

Free underground secure parking, has a basic gym & pool, room is huge with kitchen, lounge, king bed and if you're lucky a view over the Bellagio fountains and access to The Cosmopolitan pool & other stuff-casino & food area.

Most of the units facing north have a very nice view of the Bellagio fountains and the Las Vegas Strip.

excellent location on the strip big bonus is you can use the chelsea tower pool in the cosmopolitan hotel.our room was on the 9th floor with a great view of the bellagio fountains.down side is rooms need updated and their is no bar

Many rooms overlook the Bellagio so you know when you want to explore the strip or take in a show you are in the perfect location yet can come back to relax whenever you want.

The second positive is the fantastic view of the Bellagio and fountains from the south.

Across the street is the Planet Hollywood Casino, Hotel and the Miracle Mile of shops.

One great thing is to walk out the door, cross the road and you're straight in the air conditioned splendour of the miracle mile shops and walk through to Planet Hollywood casino, and over the road to Bellagio.

It is just off the strip, kitty corner to the miracle mile mall which leads to Planet Hollywood Casino and Hilton.

The hotel is across the street from the entrance to the Miracle Mile shopping mall and Planet Hollywood casino, and just around the corner and across the street from the City Center hotels (Aria, Cosmopolitan, etc.).

but it's right beside the Miracle Mile shops, so if you're going north, where most of the good stuff on the strip resides, you can walk through the shops, cut through the Planet Hollywood casino, and get to the Paris/Bellagio area in 10 minutes or less.

Across the street to the Miracle Mile Mall with many shops & restaurants, which is also connected to Planet Hollywood Casino & easy access to the strip.

Across the street is a mall that has plenty of places to eat with inside and outside.It is attached to the Planet Hollywood Casino and Resort.

The hotel is right on the Strip across from Planet Hollywood Casino.

It's one block off the strip, just across the street from Planet Hollywood Casino and half a block away from Aria and the Cosmopolitan. Everything we wanted (Caesar's Palace, Bellagio, Paris, Venetian, NY, etc.)

Don't get me wrong, it IS a nice hotel, it IS right across the street from the Mall and Planet Hollywood Casino.

38th Floor gave excellent view of Las Vegas skyline!

It has a great view of the strip and  nice amenities.

Great views of the Aria, Cosmopolitan and others from the higher floors (we were on the 35th). Also, big plus is washing and drying machines (although ours shrank our clothing on the lowest dryer setting!)

Stayed in the large one-bedroom that had a great view of the strip.

The front desk met my room location requests for a renovated room on a high floor with a strip view.

They have a pool on one of the upper floors and it’s quite nice and a sky bar for guests to access with s pretty good view of Vegas!

The following morning, I took them to see the view from the 36th Floor pool area - and again, they were stunned!

We were on the 35th floor and had amazing views.

Rooftop pool and area was small with great view.

We ate at the Ocean Grill three times (1x for dinner and 2x for breakfast) great restaurant.

As it was a corner room on the 18th floor we had spectacular views from all windows.

The view at night from the skybar is amazing.

We stayed for a 11 day vacation in a complex this place has everything you need very good location for the strip lovely place to relax nice staff nothing to much trouble this place ticks all the boxes great views of vegas from the pool bar at the top of the hotel

My only complaint like others is a lack of housekeeping, we got a knock late one afternoon to which the chap cleaned the bathroom & new towels, my husband was asleep so no bed change.

Wasn’t told at check in we had to ask to have the room cleaned and we were staying for a week, Monday-Monday.

but cleaning for me is scrubbing with bleach and sadly I didn’t carry any with me, so now I feel like this is ridiculous and a waste of money.

although we had to follow up to make sure that our rooms were cleaned daily.

We asked for cleaning services, they never came.

Housekeeping didn’t clean our room so we didn’t get clean towels, beds not made, trash not emptied and our used towels, etc.

To our surprise, we were required to make our own beds and tidy up our rooms.

What more could a man need 

The location was fantastic and the eating options with the miracle mile shops and restaurants was first class 

House keeping cleaned the room when I wanted them in so no issues there 

The only reason I only gave 4 stars was because of the smoking smell in the casino and sometimes the corridor of the hotel 
I think its an issue for most casino's and hotels

Room was very dirty, bath had not been cleaned and was full of hairs, and room clearly had not been hovered , needed a deep clean, during our stay only cleaned on our 5rh and last day.

During this time our room was not cleaned.

but wouldn't go in themselves but I was assured "all luggage left is handed to lost property by the cleaners".

Day 2 no housekeeping and we had to mive because the ceiling devris feel on our head.

For 3 days the phone line up front desk and housekeeping was busy.

First, I went to use the bathroom and there was urine in the toilet either from the previous guest or the maid.

Housekeeping only showed up once and never showed up for a week later (keep in mind we don’t even have a DND door tag in the room) we had to manually call up housekeeping to get the bath towels.

Had to call housekeeping every other days for towels.

but we love the Planet Hollywood casino and spend most of our time/money there.

A renewed Vegas and the expansion of the digital virtual world, Planet Hollywood casino, incorporated a personal interaction style of playing some of our favorite gaming tables.

Especially if you buy food and alcholic beverages which are alredy extremely pricey.

Got charged over $200 for resort fee, after a piece of crap stay.

When we arrived back later that day we had still only been given 3 towels, to add insult to injury an expensive bottle of perfume had been stolen.

The explanation for this was a "resort fee" that was beyond anyone on the planet's control.

Valet parking was pricey and maybe not very efficient.

For all the marketing hype and the cost we were quite disappointed.

Be sure to ask if that fee is daily or for your entire stay.

but it was very annoying to be charged a "resort fee" when I didn't use any resort services.

In Room Phone for Local Phone Calls

The total cost of this Resort Fee for two rooms for a five-night stay amounted to Staggering £443.70.

but I would avoid staying here at all costs

but I was super bothered my card was taken for “incidentals” of which I had none, but then had a $52 charge for resort fees.

Truthfully, I could have paid £200 more to stay Caesars.

You need to pay if you want a bed by the pool,

We were disappointed we didn't get the room we paid for from the start and had to mess about switching rooms on the 2nd day where we did get the room we'd paid for.

Drinks expensive two cocktails cost 67 dollars.

Having mistakenly left a pair of expensive jeans and belt in the hotel room when I checked out I realised in the mid afternoon.

However, I thought that they were a little expensive.

Feel like this isn't really acceptable if paying $300-$400 per night plus $60 resort fee and also isn't true because it didn't work at the conference either.

Each room has a jacuzzi tub and standing shower with separate room for toilet.

Firstly we arrived quite late, our choice of a KS bed was unavailable the first thing the young lady did was go check, come back offer us a room with 2 queens for the night with a promise to move us between 12 & 2pm the next day.

We arrived late and the only king room available was next to the elevator which is noisy.

Not so good:

During out 4 night stay our room was only serviced once, this was disappointing.

During check-in, they upgraded us to a room that had no wifi connection and broken a/c.

Although room was dusty and beds not made properly, so not overly sure what they did.

This room should not be available without some kind of notice and discount.

Room was poor quality with metal tables and pictures stuck onto other pictures to cover up damage by previous guests.

The room was like a nightclub with the strobe flashing throughout.

but very slow and you cannot request your car from your room, you have to leave your room and request it in person

We didn’t read that each room only provides wifi for the number of people in the room, so 2 people/wifi for 2 devices.

but just let say that other than the coffee, you are probably better off with a regular room.

one would expect the room to have complementary coffee, a microwave, a frig that is working and on, TV with more then 4 watchable channels, and heater that works.

The sink was stuffed up, the toilet kept running unless you jiggled the lever, and the hotel staff was nowhere to be found.

but they are completely disinterested, we found this hotel and the staff to be the worst that we have ever experienced.

Thursday, called down to ask for the room to be cleaned, was quizzed on whether I had the do not disturb sign on, which we didn’t….nothing was done and on Saturday went down to reception and they logged it.

Speaking to the manager he was not at all apologetic saying things happen.

The staff oozes indifference and seem like a miserable lot as a whole.
