But that beat the $89 breakfast the day before at the Cafe Americano at Paris Las Vegas!

The room 100% could use some updating, absolutely nothing special about this place for the exorbitant prices they charge.

You pay for resort fee on any hotel in vegas

but the Cosmo kindly used our deposit paid for four nights against our now 3 night stay!

I was using a work booking and they didn’t accept the company virtual card, accused it of being fraud and then changed the rate!!

I did ask for a refund of our resort fee as this is supposed to cover internet connection.

Also, I thought people were crazy saying that they packed their own coffee machine, or bought one cheap in Vegas and left it behind,

For families who want to relax in a very expensive room, I would expect more.

per day 'resort fee' (also known as 'amenities fee').

They sent him to 3 different storage and the salon on property Andy no one had hairspray to sell him he had to walk to Walgreens, which made us late to our very expensive concert.

If you want to use the showers then you have to pay to use the spa ones !

I advised I did not expect them to reverse time or pay for anything specific.

Disappointingly you can’t get food late in the evening and it’s extremely expensive,

From slow check in with not enough  attendants on a Sat nite to a nasty room with old carpet, to no cleaning of the room after four requests, to finally getting tired rough old towels, the cosmo doesn’t  live up to its name or price.

NEVER AGAIN for the price you pay it’s absolutely not worth it.

Despite multiple complain to front desk I was offered earplugs

Read other reviews and noise related issues it’s just mind blowing they get a way with that

I gamble with 6 figures and paid close to $1000 a night for this room (wasn’t gambling this trip) and couldn’t receive a $30 refund.

After the repair and cleaning, the stain was still on the ledge, the light still wouldn't shut off and the marijuana was still on the patio.

2) The hotel's lobby and casino are full of a strong scent.

This time, the toilet room reeked of mold (had to break out the antihistamines due to my mold allergy), the paint was chipped in numerous places, and the sheen had just worn off.

I'm not sure if this is the type of hotel who's clientele has money to burn & are happy to pay for anything & everything when asked. .?

but that a smell sanitizer was being placed and maintenance was being called.

The place was filthy, noisy and the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The only issue was the smell of cannabis at times on the terrace.

We couldn’t sit outside the curtains were ripped, furniture filthy, when we contacted Virgin, there answer was , well we gave then a wrap around suite.

The fact that the valet teams are still practicing these habits is disgusting and unethical.

Don’t even waste your money in the smoky casino…a poor reflection on the Marriott brand especially for a platinum elite traveler…

Booked room with skyline view and we got a concrete wall and a car park with a foul cigar smelling room, a soaked sofa and generally dirty,  changed rooms to be put pool side where from 11am to 6pm the music booms and then again at 12 till 3am.

Their room was also stinking of stale smoke.

I also really like their bath amenities- the FiveWits brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash smell amazing.

Beds are cheap old and pillows uneven and patchy

Bathtub caused the shower to surge water out of the drain that smelled on par with sewer water and left the room wreaking for hours.

We spoke to numerous cleaning staff about the smell and we even went down to reception.

Stepping onto the patio was both amazing (the view) and disappointing (it was filthy).

-- The toilet room in the bathroom reeked of marijuana.

Our room was perfect as always, fountain view in the Chelsea Tower.

To start on a positive, the best thing about this hotel is the views over the Strip and Bellagio fountains.

The view is definitely the No.1 in vegas, and the hot tub is amazingly comfortable beside the balcony.

It had a view of the Bellagio fountains, which was nice, and a view of the strip.

The rooms are stylish, and the views of the Strip are impressive.

but also surprised us by upgrading our room to a stunning suite with a wrap-around view.

We were some where like the 50th floor I think and the view was beautiful.

The room was an amazing, comfortable suite on the 50th floor with a balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains which from the roadside view on Las Vegas Boulevard are now obscured by the monstrous grandstands for the F1 &

I'd recommend reserving one that has a view of the Bellagio fountains.

(Marriot status also helped) 
Room was very spacious, clean, comfortable, modern and the view was unbeatable.

We booked a fountain view room, you really can’t beat the view!

We had originally booked a Terrace Studio without a Fountain View and got given a Terrace SUITE with a Fountain view!!

The room was outstanding & clean, a great view of the Bellagio fountains, we were happy.

She made sure I got a queen room overlooking the fountains.

Kept awake all night with Air-con units outside, changed rooms to suite overlooking roof & carpark, dirty/awful.

I got a good view of the center strip where all the action was.

Stunning views of Bellagio, it’s water fountain show, Eiffel Towel, light Sphere, Caesars Palace, and the Strip.

Sue noted from my passport it was my birthday and kindly provided an upgrade to a 44th floor room overlooking the Bellagio fountains and The Sphere.

I booked through Amex FHR & was upgraded to a penthouse 2 queen room with a terrace, and an amazing view of the strip including the new sphere.

You must carry your key card with you EVERYWHERE.

There were not many plugs to charge smart devices or sleep machines, on one side of the bed there were no outlets at all.

They no longer have free wifi -- was charged $12.99 per day PER DEVICE.

Once at the pool… the deposit that I had to pay at the front desk obviously was meaningless as I had to pay cash and couldn’t charge to the room.

She asked me about my last name, first, and last 4 digits to card.

It was a bit disappointing to be charged for the full daily resort fee on top of the reservation considering the casino, bars and spas were still closed due to covid.

Dang COVID even let your company charge me $88 for a resort fee?

We were moved to another room that was exactly the same..Then the hotel charged me an additional $200 for incidentals (aside from the resort fee) that was not at all in the fine print of my agreement.

She confirmed when booking me ANOTHER night that the charge would fall off.

Since we were only there one night we didn’t get a player card which was a mistake on our part.

The only real annoyance was the lack of outlets near the bed for charging your phone at night.

There is a $22 charge a night if you request a high floor,

There's the scam they charge you 1 bedroom suite prices and give you a regular room cause they overbooked!!

I’ve been to many hotels & have traveled & I’ve never gotten a charge like this to my account or gotten treated so poorly.

and when I checked out they charged me $59 to my card they claiming i take on their mini bar.

He said they do not take Greendot bank cards.

AMEX is still investigating the situation so hopefully I get my money back

Also walked through all the hotels on the strip one night, ending up at the the Paris Las Vegas, with he club at the foot of the Eiffel Tower which was also great.

Would not recommend completely a filthy hotel and uncomfortably stay!

But my room had dried vomit on the carpet and couch.

There are a lot of residents that smoke marijuana regularly and many of the rooms smell terribly because of it.

Also seems this is the place to come smoke weed cause the hallways and rooms reeked of it.

There was holes in the curtains, tears on the chairs, scratches on the table, tape hanging from the ceiling that was from a previous party, no cups in the drawer and worst of all when we tried out the jets in the tub within seconds the water to smell like a sewer and we immediately got out.

Completely filthy inside and outside on balcony.

My room was filthy (Tub with visible dirt ring, clean sheets to cover a dirty stained duvet comforter, hair in bedding, seating (bar stool) stained with what looked like blood, residue of something on countertop, dust EVERYWHERE! 5.

Only issue that i had was the musky smell of the room when we went in.

This did not help with the smell of marijuana entering our room.

Once inside the room was so dirty, chocolate chips left on the floor, windows were not cleaned , why have a balcony if there is no seating and filthy , gum on the floor just bad housekeeping.

Even during the day the smell in the corridors were overwhelming and nauseating!!

The no smoking / no casino feature means no smokey smell on you and your clothes.

Cigarette burns in the floor and master bed night stand.

Well there's a thick aroma of perfume in the lobby which was a bit aggressive.

That, along with the cigarette stench on our 1st night, are the only things that kept me from giving 5 stars.

My sheets hadn’t been changed—visible dirt on the pillowcases & they smelled.

1) Booked a Strip View Studio, was given a Mountain View.

And I must add the hotel was absolutely beautiful, the pleasant fragrance when you walked in the hotel lobby is breathtaking, and the rooms was amazing and the spa tub was very relaxing..

My room, 51-309, offered a breathtaking view of the mountains and was both clean and spacious.

The pool was really nice the suite was big clean and had a great view.

We had an amazing view of the entire length of the Strip.

real marble finishes and a  great view to the northern hills.

Our room itself was beautiful and spacious with an breathe taking view of the strip, our bed was so comfy and the shower/bathtub was amazing!!

The view and room itself was impressive compared to the other hotels in the area.

She was very helpful with getting us checked in early and picking out a great room with a nice view.

what a nice view of Las Vegas and also a corner balcony.

Great location, great price, clean room, great view, and Chanel (the person who checked me in) was very nice, professional, not to mention very knowledgeable about the area and the property.

The pluses are no resort fees, great valet car service, a spacious condo with good views, loved the huge shower with rain head and we also had a washer and dryer in the unit.

Our room was beautiful and the view was great.

Great views of Vegas and well appointed suite.

The hotel itself was quiet and views impressive as we were on the 19th floor and had views of downtown north to south.

The balcony view from the 52nd floor was spectacular.

Beware that Vdara put a ~15 dollar charge for "refreshment center" when you check in using the mgm app.

Had to request slippers and robes, the minibar was not fully stocked so I took photo just in case I am charged for something I hadn't consumed.

For the money being charged for these rooms it just did not leave me wanting to come back.

but being charged $1/oz for bottled water from the mini-bar is ridiculous.

Still got charged for the (in)convenience of valet.

Taxis from airport are set fee, you pay extra if paying by card so cash is better.

Went to reception, of course all apologies and they’d refund a day of the resort fee, I couldn’t care less about the resort fee I just want to stay in a clean room given what they charge.

I had a billing issue that was resolved during checkout.

The fee is a normal charge at strip hotels - just not included in daily advertised rates.

I had to use my overseas credit card which cost an additional currency conversion and fee.

Additionally, I was able to find out from TV that I was double billed for an extra $50 at Aria Haviers and had to get that fixed. 9.

They should ve just given us our money back, or at least kept their word and charged half.

Additionally, 2 out of the four key cards failed to work at some point over the weekend.

Elevator - key cards work very inconsistently.

These people have the nerve to charge a $45 per night resort fee for this trash.

Unfortunately most hotels along the strip charge these additional $$$ when staying there.

Thinking it was my card that was deactivated by my cc.

Check out was done online after receiving an email and resort fees added to our credit card after this ($45 + tax = $51.02 per night).

Then, She offered $50 hotel credits, and would tell the technician to come fix the problem.

The room itself was spacious and we had an amazing view of the Bellagio fountains and the Eiffel tower at Paris Las Vegas.

Was given another room, not close to the room that we had paid for.

Cost US$2106 for 3 nights for a 2 bed, 2 ensuite apartment.

I’m paying over $500/night and was just told that if I wanted a coffee maker, I’d need to pay an additional $20/night. lol.

Hotel bar ridiculously expensive so we didn’t use the facility.

We appreciated it that our resort fees were waived without us having to ask - no idea why!

3 star hotel at 5 star prices and it’s all down to the unfriendly, passive aggressive, saccharine “have a nice day through gritted teeth” attitude of the staff.

They carried a little bit of everything that  you may need at reasonable prices.

It was an expensive medical pillow and it dose not look like the pillow that are there in the rooms.

This is supposedly a 5 star hotel, I am a guest who has PAID for 3-nights, who had found herself in a stressful predicament, and no one cared in the least.

All this top notch and I didn't even pay for the room it was covered under my MGM Rewards Offer.

One negative is the 24hr cafe where they almost insist on service charges for a to go coffee.

Now, I have to rate Southwest, which is an MGM partner in crime.

The grocery store in hotel was overpriced.

We loved the automated roller shades and the view of the canoe planter artwork was cool.

We had the most amazing view of the strip and the Bellagio Fountains!

On the plus side, the view from our room on the 50th floor was spectacular, and the hotel is non smoking and in a good location just behind the Aria and Cosmopolitan hotels.

Our room was large and we had a great view of the Bellagio fountain as well as the strip.

The view from our room 23-023 was amazing.

Great central location and we had the best view of the strip.

Needless to say, the views from our suite were amazing and it was everything our anniversary deserved.

Excellent view from rooms, great interior, rooms have great design and condition.

Highly recommended for it's central location & views.

The view from our room looking out the back of the Strip (where you can see the NFL stadium) seemed as good as the one at the front with Bellagio fountains.

The room was huge and had a perfect view of the Bellagio fountain.

We had a city/mountain view which was beautiful and the sunsets were beautiful.

Our room was amazing with a view over the Bellagio fountains, hotel well positioned with a short 5 min walk to the strip.

Standing at the top of the stairs to look down was my favorite view.

The view from our 50th floor room was incredible and just topped of the room.

We were greeted at front desk by wonderful staff who upgraded us, without asking, to fountain (sphere) view on 39th floor.

We managed to cook a decent meal one night though, to enjoy dinner with our fabulous view!

We had the junior suite on the 52nd floor and had the amazing view of Paris Las Vegas and we were able to view the nightly Bellagio water fountain.

She’s just sitting there on a personal phone call and blurts out “it will be 30 minutes”.

On calling the front desk/ guest services, we were told that construction was happening in the lobby and we could get ear plugs!!

The phone system is about to be “upgraded” in a few hours, so the only way to reach the front desk is in person…in line behind the gazillion people waiting to check in.

The managers kept promising that the points were issued and they refused to call me back.

I do as I always do in a room check out the cleanliness, the whirlpool tub had a ring around it, the body wash was empty and the coach was horrible…upon siting on the couch you sunk straight down it was very uncomfortable.

Knowing how hard it is to trace the source of second-hand smoke, and with it being my last night, I didn't bother to call the front desk

but at least one phone call during our stay to check on us or “schedule” a cleaning  like other resorts on the strip would have sufficed .

I told them to call housekeeping, and they said housekeeping wouldn't answer them.

We had to use the living room plugs for our phones and then some of those were worn as well.

Dust on the lamps, dust on the bathroom mirror, dust on the phones, dust on the coffee machine, dust on the tv remote controls, etc.

We had to call 4 times to tell them we wouldn’t be arriving until midnight because our flight was delayed and only  on the 4th time did we find a person who could actually find out hotel reservation.

but no one has more than 2 bars on cell phone.

It got to the point where I stopped answering calls from Hilton. Lastly, the line at Starbucks in Elara is always 20-30 deep (in the morning for sure.)

but I had to call Hilton when I hadn't received it three days later.

Rather than the local staff offering to do anything about it, they said we’d have to call customer service!

CONS
Disappointed to see many amenities missing in the room and to message or call for every item Including hairdryer and pots/pans for the kitchen.

I had asked for a wake-up call -- which was done by a real person --

Wednesday I again had to call and was frustrated knowing I only had 1.5 days left and still no service.

After complaining to the front desk (where the attendant insisted that the sewage smell was coming from the street outside.

This is a non smoking hotel and you do not have loud music or noises like most casino resorts do.

The janitor’s entire bottle of enzymes was no match for the stench.

The drains stink of sewer gas…52 floors up.

The hot tub(which was the main reason we booked this hotel) was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!!

I guess marijuana smoking is tolerated in the rooms and throughout the hotel as I noticed it in many areas.

Overall---the smoke issue was so minor that I would definitely consider this hotel again for that peace of mind.

When entered, we were surprised at what a dirty nasty room like this was.

I specifically chose Elara because it is non gaming, non smoking.

My mother-in- law had to wear a mask because it was affecting her breathing.

Our room had a raw sewage smell so bad that they had to move us from 2 different room.

When we first walked in, there’s a smell of rotten eggs.

However, The room smelled like rotten eggs or worse.
