* Upon check-in we were handed a coupon book.

Coupon book was nice and was able to take advantage of some of the freebies and discounts.

The coupon book at check-in was really great and helpful, because it allowed for us to find out about more things going on at the resort.

The staff was very helpful & the Coupon Book appreciated.

They also provided us with a coupon book that had some pretty useful deals in it as well.

They also hand out coupon book, make sure you use it there’s plenty of free stuff.

We liked to coupon books that comes with the resort fee

but they will give you a coupon book worth at least that much (at least six free drinks on property takes care of that right there).

Don’t forget to use the coupon book you get at check-in, lots of good freebies from drinks to snacks to discounts at the shops.

Also got book of coupons and breakfast with package!

Even the usual coupon books they give you when you check in were useful with free drinks and goodies.

but the coupon book helped curtail some of the expenses.

They also gave me a complimentary coupon book that had 6 free drinks at various locations, and other freebies.

Lots of "freebies" and discounts with the coupon book given at check-in.

I recommend this resort & encourage you to take advantage of the coupon book they give you upon check-in!

There was a coupon book for deals at restaurants and spa etc that was kind of fun and handy to have.

We were also given a coupon book which gave us a few free drinks in the casino.

Upon check-in, we were given a coupon book for the hotel and casino which was a nice gesture that helped offset the very affordable nightly Resort Fee of $18.99.

On the positive side, the grounds are lovely and the valet staff are excellent.

The good:  Grounds and location spectacular.

GROUNDS:The grounds are beautiful and the location in Summerlin is a well kept, safe community.

The grounds are magnificent and the care that goes into the property shows throughout.

Clean/modern large rooms, courteous & friendly staff, excellent food at their restaurants, immaculate grounds.

Grounds are beautiful, staff was friendly and we had everything we needed in one place.

Oh yeah, the grounds have a super nice walking area around the courtyard with seating in the shade to view fish, birds, rabbits, and other critters.

The grounds are immaculate and beautifully landscaped.

Located not too far from the strip a 15 minute drive, and beautiful grounds with free parking.

As I stated previously, we choose to stay at this particular location because  the grounds and the pool are amazing.

We stayed 4 days 5 nights in the spa tower with our disabled son in a ground floor accessible room w roll in shower and the resort provided a shower/transfer bench that

Upon check-in the friendly front desk staff changed our tower and our ground level room to a balcony room.

The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful.

The staff are helpful and the grounds are gorgeous.

They did not make any attempts at calling or emailing us prior to removing all of our personal belongings from our hotel room.

They didn't and phone calls have been a run around and they keep thinking I am expecting an inbound package.

I stayed at this hotel about 2 weeks ago I was really hoping to get a response from the hotel and since no one returned my calls I felt compelled to write this review.

I’ve made multiple phone calls to the get the billing error resolved to the Spa Manager with no return call.

My 9pm my calls to management were very politely ignored ("maybe it will end at 11pm?").

Surprised that Marriott would allow them to call it a "JW".

So after calling they emailed me the folio which was full of mistakes.

They literally stopped picking up the phone!

Getting a cab js Impossible unless you call a company yourself.

Examples: 
* on most occasions, NOBODY answers the phone at the front desk when you call.

I did call to complain and when we left there was extra coffee in a bag on the door.

Despite reserving by phone and then confirming the rate verbally with front desk staff at check in we were ultimately charged significantly more for the rooms than we were quoted.

I confirmed that over the phone when I booked.

though the TV set was small and the phone and sink stopper showed wear.

While both wife and children were taking a nap and resting, the sound of a doorbell ringing at 2 pm on July 5 rattled the rest of the family.

Despite calling reception no action appeared to be taken

The TV and the phone in my room were broken.

I've stayed at Suncoast, Red Rock Casino, and JW Marriott, and the Marriott has the best rooms.

The Red Rock casino is 8 min away, the Strip 15+ minutes.

All of our clothes, laptop computers, toiletries, food, luggage, etc.

We had sushi at Jade, the Asian restaurant.

Cocktails and lunch from the poolside cafe were very good.

We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were very good.

We ate at the Jade Asian Kitchen which I would characterize as just ok, at the Earl Grey Cafe which was pretty good, and at the Clubhouse Deli which had the best bang for your buck.

Restaurant waitstaff really professional.

The dinner was great, the bar service was great and oh my god the massage was great!

The restaurants were actually decently good - the portions large - and we ate at most of them during our stay: buffet, italian, Jade Chinese, deli, poolside, starbucks, earl gray.

I’m also out $82 for cafeteria or DFAC quality food.

We also enjoyed the Happy Hour and appetizers at Hawthorn Grill and were sorry we didn’t have enough time to try the Asian fusion restaurant Jade.

The restaurant was very nice and the service was exceptional good, which is rare these days.

The steakhouse restaurant is delicious with good service.. review The casino is tired and the staff is not friendly.

Every staff member we interacted with was pleasant and helpful including the  valet staff, front desk, dealers, wait staff in the restaurant etc.

I got the “your room is ready” message from the Marriott app two hours after we were in it.

We had a standard king room that was so spacious and had a walk-in closet.

Each room had huge sliding doors that stayed open for 3 days and night to enjoy the eat and dry air.

The room is spacious with excellent housekeeping.

Spa & treatment rooms had already been renovated and were very modern/nice.

Otherwise, the room was pretty and the bathroom quite large and appealing.

The hotel doesn’t know how many people have reserved a room??

The rooms are clean, the sheets are as well and the doors all lock.

but the room is 75 and the air is running .

It’s the exact same quality of room and honestly I’d rather be on the 3-4 floors.

The entire resort is impeccably clean from the outdoor grounds, to the indoor common areas, restaurants and rooms.

It needs a facelift The rooms are very dilapidated.

On a forty degree morning, you could feel the winter wind chill the room.

But not to worry, Myesha, the front desk manager will ease your negative thoughts by threatening to call security if you are dissatisfied with your room.

No disclosure of fire alarms being intentionally set to go off for 2 days, dirty showers filled with mold, broken balcony door, ooey-gooey sticky sofas, absent maid service, room left with soiled towels and glasses, ty.

The bad: Casino reeks of smoke. Terrible.

Most of the casino here is “ smoking” so the whole place stinks.

The casino area was almost unbreathable due to the smoke because the filtration system is barely existent.

The entire casino smells of cigarettes and you have to walk through it to get to any of the food or drink establishments.

The property smelled awful all 3 days musty/unclean smell inside the hotel made it tough to get rest.

2 bedroom suite, noisy highway, soiled sheets, dirty curtains, wear on furniture.

You can awake to the last guests cups of cigarette

It’s rooms and common area’s are dated and it smells like smoke in some area’s.

The towels stink and so does the suite that we are in.

You could smell cigarette smoke in the non-smoking areas like the hotel lobby and hallways.

I echo many of the negative comments already stated: restrictive pool hours (insane if you ask me, as Las Vegas is so hot after 10), mediocre food offerings, filthy pool lounge chairs, lack of umbrellas at the pool, dirty corners of the room, complete lack of customer service.

Elevators look like a service elevator, glass not clean and the wood finishing all mares up with sheet metal finishing  all streaked
Not all Tables in gambling area open 24 hr, cramps and roulette not open early morning till 11:00am

Aqua spa’s main feature “The pool” was not warm and non functional 

The main hotel pool is only half open and only open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm no evening dip in pool
Hot tub not fictional
Lounge chairs were stained with other guess sweat and suntan lotion and were commonly dotted with bird poop
Drinks alittle expensive $17+ tip for mixed drinks
Pool side cabanas alittle pricey at $275 per day.

The pool was frequently out of towels, and the pool deck was filthy (more goose feces).

This was certainly not the way we intended to spend the final evening of our family reunion, and a massive disconnect from the service and professionalism I expect from the Marriott Bonvoy brand.

I can only thank the hotel staff for bouncing guests from Palm Tower to Spa Tower back & forth for no reason with absolutely nothing working.

Seriously— according to the staff we talked about, those are the two demographics.

Almost every staff person was really friendly and helpful.

On every occasion requests we fulfilled without question and there was always plenty of staff around to help.

after listing the tourist assistance they can provide.

I also wanted the offer thanks to Lisa and others at the front desk for excellent service, we will absolutely be back to the JW Marriott the next time we are in Vegas.

In fact, many at our meeting complained about the rudeness of the staff who treated the conference attendees most inappropriately.

We moved back to original suite and Richard, who is very helpful, is trying to make it right.

The wonderful staff of this resort never disappoint.

The front door staff is very nice as is the front desk.

Unlike the casinos that I have been in at the strip, this one was full of pensioners, many with walkers.

I had a room in the Spa Tower, 6th floor that had a view of the Angel Park Golf Course and the Strip.

I wanted to be away from the strip and just relax, and the environment provided what I was seeking.

Much, much better than most places, especially the strip.

The JW Marriott in Las Vegas is the perfect destination for family, friends, and couples who would like to be off the strip while having the convenience of a quick ride to all the strip offers.

Overall a really nice experience which made me realize that Vegas is just not the strip.

We visited several casinos in the area and on the strip and this Marriott was one of the top smokiest.

My wife and I just came home from a great 4 night stay at this spectacular property- and we cannot say enough what a wonderful hotel this was - we wated to be off the strip - away from the noise, trash and hassle -

Overall, if we head back to Vegas for adventure off the strip like this trip, we will stay here again as all was satisfactory.

I wanted to stay off the strip and decided on this hotel.

All this in a setting next to the red rocks with fantastic views yet only 15 minutes to the Strip!

The restaurants and buffet were all pretty good and if we were in the mood for other eats Tivoli Village was 5 mins away. Pretty easy less than a 30 minute drive to anything else we wanted to go to (The Strip, Henderson, Downtown LV, Town Square)

I have stayed at this hotel probably about 50 times or more always give me the best service the best room available the front desk is very polite and courteous the rooms are always clean nice bedding that's probably why I stayed there a lot not too far from the strip not to close nice Casino in it too

We’re happy to stay here again in the future for those trips that does not involve the Strip party scene,

We are all fully vaccinated yet we didn’t want to be around swarms of people at a hotel on the strip so we chose the JW.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet away from the strip.

This property attracts better clientele than the strip and would benefit from this policy.

If you want to be away from the busy Las Vegas strip and be near enough to drive to the strip, this is a good choice.

I wanted to avoid the crowds on the strip and chose to stay at the Marriott in Summerlin.

We rented a car and the valet personnel were always so helpful and accommodating.

The staff was amazing, from the valet to the front desk, spa, and all the restaurants.

The valet staff and hotel front desk are extremely welcoming to us EVERY visit.

Everyone we encountered from the valet to the housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Thé bellmen and the valet in this hotel are also Amazing .

All of the staff, from the front desk to valet to room service, were friendly and helpful.

The valet and bell staff, Egan, James and Michael.

Food was delicious as always and the Valet team always professional and courteous.

The staff was extremely friendly, the valet employees opened the doors on my many trips in and out of the hotel, and my room was perfect!

Best attribute was friendly staff, and great valet staff.

No fridge in room, and $15.00/day charge to receive one.

but for what they charge for their rooms they need to address dirty and worn rooms.

Additionally, my credit card was charged $363 for a prepaid room that we did not charge anything to.

I booked through a 3rd party so they added a 100$ nightly “security deposit” along w/the 400$ (50/night) resort fee to my credit card.

though the electronic tablets have lots more ‘cards’ I don’t feel it’s worth the $73. Price.

but they charged things to her account, that were for options she told them she would not cover!

It is quite frustrating to have to wander around and always have a key card in hand to utilize the elevators.

They say it charges if you remove it for >15 seconds

I was charged for an upgrade on a room for two nights in which I didn't stay in the room.

You can request one and they may or may not charge you for it depending on what it’s for (for kids food, no charge).

I have to also mention that they tried to make up for the cleanliness issue by giving us a $100 resort credit.

Their solution is a small credit towards the $600 rate they charged for the day.

I was strongly warned not to be late or skip the appointment, for there would be charges and penalties if I did.

No one offered a future room credit or to comp our room or anything.

When we called to get the tray removed they said there would be a $25 charge ( totally unexceptionable).

Red Rocks Resort front desk called me 2 weeks ago (end of June 2021, $8,800), stating the One80 Penthouse I paid for and booked is no longer available.

According to her, maintenance was supposed to be in charge

No more multiplier days for their points card unless you are local.

As far as I know, they do not charge for parking (another perk of an off-the-strip hotel) and it is easy to get to from inside the hotel.

The City National Arena where the Vegas Golden Knights practice is walking distance, the shops at Downtown Summerlin is right in back within walking distance from the casino.

Walking distance to the Downtown Summerlin shopping mall was also a plus!

Downtown Summerlin is within walking distance or a short uber.

The resort is easy walking distance to downtown Summerlin, with many shops and restaurants if you don’t see anything at the resort itself.

We loved the location of the resort; it was close to Downtown Summerlin mall, which was a great chillout spot after day trips out of the Las Vegas.

I have three kids, and was recommended this place by a friend due to it having the “Kids Quest” area.

They have a movie theater, kids quest, bowing and arcades.

It has a huge bowling alley, nice gaming area, movie theater, kids quest.

The Red Rock has a movie theater, bowling ally, Kids Quest, and sits across from Summerlin Centre which is walking distance.

The kids quest facility was fun for our 4 yr olds - we were nervous to leave them there,

We had the most incredible experience during our 7 days at the Red Rock Casino Resort.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Red Rock Casino and resort.

In town for  three  days business meeting in Sun City Summerlin   ,  Resort only 17 mines from the  airport , N. West of Vegas near Summerlin  , office check me into Red Rock Casino  and Resort ,  although it is away from the strip  , price almost  like any resort on the strip , about  800 rooms , free  shuttle to the airport  , the resort be around almost 16 years ,,

We eagerly anticipated our stay at Red Rock Casino.

Red Rock Casino has a new modern feel that also has a great ambiance with its red sandstone architecture that reflects nearby Red Rock Canyon.

Whenever I can, I stay at the RED ROCK CASINO Hotel.

I booked a room at the Red Rock Casino for New Year's Eve and purposely selected a room with a "Strip View".

I have stayed at Red Rock Casino over the years many times.

Just spent a great week at the Red Rock Casino.

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Rock Casino.

Don't ask me why we chose to "getaway" from our strip apartment and head on out to Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa for a staycation,

Now, Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is everything that the name implies.

I enjoyed it enough that when I go back to Las Vegas I plan to spend time at Red Rock casino again.

I recently attended a Sales Meeting at the Red Rock Casino and stayed for four nights.

We had a very nice stay at Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas.

food had a fast food buffet that was way too trash fro non-Americans,
but i saw better finer restaurants there.

A “resort” where you cannot sit by the pool on a gorgeous afternoon or eat outside on lovely restaurant patios when it is 65 degrees out because it is “too cold”.

Get ready for lung cancer since restaurants are located around the casino, where SMOKING IS ALLOWED.

FROM THE FOOD TO THE MOVIE THEATER TO BOWLING.

Tons of great restaurants - especially the Osteria.

Unfortunately my room was dirty  & I did immediately notify the front desk. Accidentally billed twice for “room revenue” 
Positive: great restaurants (Oyster Bar, Naxos, Blue Ribbon Sushi), pool area (several pools) & excellent Spa (massage was incredible, sauna, steam room & cold plunge)
