Make sure to get a players card and use it all the time.

The front desk supervisor clearly lied to us when we indicated that there were no rooms available, and then had the audacity to try and charge me for the larger suite price for the remaining 3 nights in a petite room.

Was allowed to check in a 10am without any type of up charge.

My biggest complaint is the players card was easily defective, I went through 4 cards.

I asked her to pull my $$ in with my players card,

We were given a compensation of 1-day’s refund of the amenity charge, which amounted to about $27.

but perhaps they could invest in card readers instead.

I would have given them 5/5 if wasn't for the washrooms in the premium tower room for having to wear a wristband and for charging a resort fee when they really are not offering anything.

After getting to look at the logs there was an entry at 10:31 with a card using the same number as my card

I presented my credit card for the stay, an amount of $520.

After a 7 day stretch they charged us a daily $25 fee for staying past 7 days.

To his credit, FOH manager was helping bus.

*****HOTEL GUESTS BEWARE***** returned from Las Vegas 13 hours ago & had a $150 charge on my credit card for "room damage" from El Cortez.

en april 17 we go to el cortez and we have reservatiion just for one night  we pay 213.39  take for my card.

My charge card was billed an additional 97 bucks with no invoice or explanation of charges to back it up.

So I sulk crying to my room- no credit cards or even identification, while the thief is given permission to gamble, drink, and enjoy the casino.

Banging doors in the hallway and a loud siren like beeping caused by too many unsuccessful key card attempts are what kept me up until 2:45 am.

December 18, 2019 El Cortez went into my account again charge $10.00.

Ours barely spoke except to count out the cards and sat there with sour looks on their faces.

Stayed in Original 47 rooms, good price and easy on wallet compared to many other strip and fremont st area hotels.

but I also put my “make up room” sign out every day.

but the hotel staff were very welcoming, we were allocated our room and given a wristband which was our room key.

This stay started wonderfully with the Executive Housekeeper decorating our room beautifully for my wife’s birthday.

My room ended up comped for our stay this time which was awesome.

Pros: room was spacious, remodel with a modern look.

The rooms have all been totally refurbished to a high standard and the food in the cafe ( segals 41) is superb, I recommend the prime roast rib.

The EC is has a great old-school casino and the newly renovated rooms are a delight.

Had a large room with a great king bed, very comfortable.

First of all, the rooms are very reasonably priced for Las Vegas, much less expensive than some of the other big named hotel/casino properties on the strip.

New renovated rooms are very large and bathroom was big, wrist bracelet fir room key was annoying and not a fashion statement, tables and slots area is clean and nice, servers came around while gambling, free parking and valet was nice, would stay again

We organize an event in the area, so those attending rent anywhere between 20-25 rooms for the weekend.

Our room was everything that was promised.

Next time we plan to try a stay in the tower room.

They were very accomidateing in moving me to the Tower room.

Its a pity they done know how to mop the floors because they remained  filthy for the whole stay.

Aside from the bad smells (the elevator smells of urine) and the lumpiest mattress of my lifetime, the worst part was being awakened by aggressive banging on my room door by a shabbily dressed security officer (wrinkled shirt and ratty uniform) who insisted he had to take me down to the front desk - that I had not paid.

We were relocated to room 1508, it was just as filthy.

but this time we had a particularly nasty cocktail waitress.

Sleeping is going to be  tough with the smoke odor and club music.

Terrible smell of cleaner throughout the hall and rooms, No hot water in shower any time we showered.

It is dark, smells of alcohol and cigarettes.

The El Cortez definitely has that old Las Vegas feel (and smell) to it.

only six tables in the smaller area, smoky and grungy, and a few 10 splitters due to low stakes.

We stayed here due to the fact none of the other downtown hotels offered smoking rooms.

They should be happy anyone still comes in the smoky smelly old casino!!!

It is so bad that you can smell the nicotine on your clothes, after a night here.

The Casino was musty from cigarette smell and the area of the strip is definitely the old part of town,

The light shined urine all around the toilet walls- just gross.

I am impressed by the remodel casino floor ( new carpet, less smoking, new slot machines) .

No more dingy carpets and smoke stained walls.

Also, you can play blackjack and not worry that some gross smelling homeless guy is gonna sit down next to you.

On the other hand, I stayed directly across from the club that plays music until 3:30 am.

All night music from the club down the street.

If you gamble the Club Cortez staff will reward you.

The Club Cortez folks are also helpful and do a great job.

Upon signing up for the Club Cortez program I was given a "fun book" with $5 match play, $5 meal comp, free drink, free keepsake, $5 free play, and other great offers!

but was told upgraded to Nobu - room was smaller than what I had stayed in at Caesar's, NO view at all, bathroom door wouldn't close, upon check out found that any item touched/moved in the room was charged to account as Room Service items are censored.

We were charged a 50 dollar per person cancellation fee.

Despite being billed as a premium property at Caesar's, it didn't feel like an especially premium experience.

And the extra charge to use fridge was outrageous.

Mini bar was half stocked (I better not be charged for this) and one of the phones didn’t work because it wasn’t plugged in and I couldn’t find the power cord.

If you touch anything and move it for long enough, they charge you way too much and don’t tell you how much you’re going to be charged.

And if any of the snacks on the desk are moved for more than 30 seconds you are charged for those so make sure not to accidentally knock anything over.

Don't stay here unless you want to get charged for unnecessary room damages that aren't actual damages.

Side Note: What kind of 5 star hotel has the gall to CHARGE FOR A COFFEE MAKER AND POD OR AN IN ROOM FRIDGE?

Then they wanted to charge me a fee to “put a rush on my room being cleaned and ready soon”.

Also they offer no complimentary tea or coffee and water is $10 a 600ml they charge even to use the bar fridge with your own drinks etc and also charge on top of your room rate a resort fee of $52 per day for using wifi, gym and pool even if you don't use it.

After 2 devices which the Hotel alls to be connected there is a $14.99/day charge to add a third device.

but they are charging over 100$ a night for incidentals!

but when I tried to work on my computer I was charged an extra $14.99 for an extra device …the resort fee covering 2 devices only … if you have 3 phones and a computer you will have to pay en extra $30…Again seemed very cheap when the  room price is not.

It's billed as an Asian themed luxury hotel, and it's far from luxury.

The staff not helpful at all, I waited 35 minutes for shampoo, they cancelled our Saturday night booking, the hair dryer is from the 80's, the room had food crumbs on the floor and a card key from the previous guest which means it wasn't properly cleaned.

I asked, “so I’m being charged for nothing I actually used?”, and Daniel said “Yes”.

They said we would be charged a 75 dollar restocking fee and we were not free to use the refrigerator for that.

The check in person was not very considerate as she spent 10 mins helping the guy in front of us with an app on his phone instead of checking us in.

Despite multiple calls to the front desk, we could not get service for our room.

but there was no way to reference this info after the fact to disconnect a device and switch from a laptop to another phone..

You couldn't call room service either; everything was done by text.

There were four pillows altogether, and we had to call down for them except the room phone was not plugged into the wall and there was no cord.

I didn’t bother to call down because it was late and i left very early in the morning.

Check in was well after 4pm when my room was ready and I never received a call, I had to got desk.

-While housekeeping is absolutely lovely in every face to face interaction, calling to ask for things was really poor.

He handled the call like I was going to be staying at Motel 6.

I got so frustrated I had to ask my CEO to cover the call.

Theres an AI concierge named IVY that you can text since it's hard to get anyone to answer the phones

This fee is for internet, local calls and gym access.

I asked “just so I understand, what is the reservation fee for?”  He said it was for any movies, phone calls, etc, that I may have used (I used none).

As we were travelling with an iPhone & iPad each this made it a challenge.

Was on the phone for over 20minutes getting my old reservation back.

Second time in a row we have to show our confirmation through our cell phone to then get “found” in the system… then upsold a fake “upgrade”.

Other issues are:
- the nobu hotel recommend to go to colosseum valet parking to check in bug valet says they can’t handle the bagage …So we go to valet at main entrance whom we indicate that we are checking in and this one don’t even bother to call bell captain for bagages and give you the wrong valet ticket so you have to pay every time you pick up your car… and finally bell captain deliver bag an hour after you arrive …
So overall a bad experience with very poor service

Paying $50 for a resort fee and only getting two devices free on wifi is extortionate.

The hotel is definitely overpriced for what you ultimately get (leaky ceilings and wet carpet). BEWARE!!

You cannot use the refrigerator to personal items, and the items are very expensive.

I know it's Vegas and everything costs more

If you try to purchase anything in the resort it’s double the price of what it would otherwise cost.

In order to even use the refrigerator, you have to pay $75 on TOP of the cost of the room.

I finally agreed to pay the $50 to check in 3 hrs before check in time.

Nevertheless we hope to get that resolved as no one wants to pay for something they did not purchase.

even though you book and pay in advance you are not guaranteed a room.

We expected that we would have to pay an upgrade fee.

If you take anything out of it you are charged a very high price.

Every time I went down in the lobby someone else was complaining about hidden fees and exta charges!

Based on the resort fees which are expensive this is not acceptable.

Overpriced Average Room:
We had booked with Caesars and was told they had moved our room reservation over to  Nobu.

This is a loophole which allows Caesars to bait and switch customers into higher priced rooms at Caesars Palace.

Frankly, was expecting more for the cost.

The hotel, like others, charges a resort fee.

If I had actually paid the normal rate for these rooms, I would have been very upset.

The hotel also communicated our room was ‘recently renovated’.

I always liked the staff, the cleanliness of the accommodations, room sizes and and the location.

We were taken to the room (we carried our luggage) and waited for 4PM.

Overall, the room was nice, spacious and within 2 minutes to the Julius elevator, the Nobu is a hotel inside another hotel, it is not a big deal,

Very nice staff, room was beautiful, clean, bed very comfortable,  nice amenities - coffee lounge, cocktails, fitness room.

I immediately went down to the front desk and was moved to another room (7710).

The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the showers are strong and have a sleek modern design.

The room was a suite I think, I paid $200 extra to upgrade and it wasn’t worth it.

Looking forward to our trip I booked a Julius Deluxe Room at Ceasars Palace.

It would be nice to have some thing like a microwave in the room considering this is supposedly such an amazing establishment.

However, I didn’t get my room cleaned during my stay, and the curtains needed repairs, which I asked

but for the amount of money we spent you couldn't offer free coffee in the rooms?

but nice - 4 pelotons within the gym and I did see that if you were a peloton fan that you could actually ask for a bike to be delivered to your room while you were staying!

I would probably stay here just to have the club "sandwich".

I took advantage of the expedited entry at the club Omnia and I am going back tonight for sure.

They give your packages to the attached UPS store, which then tries to charge to receive them.

Book through the hotel website to avoid fees not charged by third parties.

Stayed on points and was charged "resort fees".

The additional "destination" charge is not reimbursable for government travel.

When you check I the hotel refuses to recognise this benefit/ commitment and charges you the additional night  (con- men).

but drop an f-bomb on the poor soul tasked with delivering that news to guest and demanded a refund of $600 for the amount I was overcharged and referred to the manager, whom he repeatedly blamed for the outrageous trade show pricing in the first place.

Adding insult to injury, this Renaissance charges you $17 per day for parking.

Jon Carlo gave me a phone Charge the other night when I was panic about charging my phone.

The room was not inexpensive and then on top of that you get the $17/night charge for parking and a $30/day fee for WHAT?

The only down side is that I have a pet peeve and that is paying resort fees and parking fees and the Renaissance charges for both.

but with each charge they charged my credit card.

Given basic internet would normally be included, and I may or may not want the beer and dessert, it seemed to be a somewhat questionable extra charge.

The first morning, each of us were charged $9.00 each for coffee (I believe the correct price was supposed to be $4.00).

Of course, we then get charged $20 for 1 hr 20 minutes - the managers assurance was worthless.

but was far from good after I took a deeper look into my charges.

It charges $15 for parking, and adds a $30 destination charge for sundry items like one way metro passes, a whisky & desert you may not want.

but for the money charged, I don't see why they can't provide a couple of each.

The prices and room charges are deceiving, they charge a "destination" fee of $29.

I was also supposed to receive a $35 parking credit according to the timeshare company

The next day emailed the front desk manager and gotten a call back advising me that the item was not in the lost and found inventory.

After waiting over 20 mins, my wife gets a txt I sent because she said the cell phone wasn’t ringing in the room.

I asked the individual taking the call to cancel the reservation, they did not respond and hung up.

I could hear the television and the phone conversation of the person next door to me in the bedroom.

Text and phone call ahead of stay to coordinate any needs.

I am tired of COVID excuses for limited service, please restore full service to call yourself full service.

A while later, we received a phone call in the room saying “a robot is outside of your door delivering the items!” What a cute delivery guy!

The beginning of the trip was horrible we then needed a place to check in immediately they not only booked it quickly over the phone discounted us as well on short notice. .

but still haven't gotten around to calling the hotel to fix it.

On booking via phone we requested 1. three rooms on the same floor, 2. late checkout so that our daughter could get ready at the hotel with us for her wedding the following afternoon, and 3. an upgrade if possible as we are platinum.

Of course I complained and was told the hotel manager was going to call and I'm still waiting for that call.

When I arrived the elite line had non elite foreigners who could not understand the clerk and no other clerk whether busy or not would call me over for assistance.

I overheard guys in rooms on either side of me conducting phone calls this morning at 7 AM.

Finally, while the resort fee is annoying, the monorail passes are great for getting to the strip without having to call a car.

I was now told that no insurance person would call us because there was no forced entry into the room.

I did call and asked to be moved .. they said there were no rooms ..

We had to call the front desk multiple times on the neighbors bumping rap music at 2:30am.

Our room faced Paradise Drive and we had a birds eye view of the Las Vegas Sphere.

Room was nice and clean, nice bathrooms with a tub.

He got everything out and unloaded and walked it up to my room.

Oh and Alex got us in our room quickly at check in!!

As for the hotel itself, the location is very centrally located, the rooms are really nice, cable selection is great and the internet is fast.

Room was comfortable, the is a clear positive point.

Got an amazing room upgrade as Lifetime Titanium.

Aside from valet, the hotel staff were polite and friendly and our room was clean and comfy!

but far enough away to be quiet and you get a good rest in the nice rooms.

The hotel itself was well-maintained, offering spacious and beautifully decorated rooms.

but when I arrived, my room was being cleaned, so I couldn't go straight in.

The rooms are well appointed, and more importantly they are extremely quiet.

The rooms are clean and well maintained, the executive lounge is great and the restaurant had good food and great service.

Coming up to my room I remembered I gave her my wallet with the room key.

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable.

The staff is awesome and the hotel is excellent - see the note left in our room when we checked in the second time.

This was an extremely comfortable room with a great view.

We were given access to the club lounge while we waited

I spent some time in the club lounge where Sherrie greeted me.

but not least the 2 attendants in the Club room were so nice, helpful, friendly, welcoming. .

The best part of this property is Regina at the club level.

We received the upgrade to access to the club lounge which was opened between 5 pm to 7 pm.

Enjoyed our stay, particularly due to Regina in the club lounge - shows that one person can make a huge difference in your stay, She was fantastic and made the stay so much better.

The club lounge is back open and provides a great breakfast and snacks.
