I’ve now discovered they’ve charged the full $100 to my account.

They said it was due to my card being declined, what a bunch of BS!!!!!

We were charged for the first night, we booked a King Deluxe room.

The ATM in the lobby charges a $5 fee per transaction, $300 maximum, $20s only.

They have lost the focus and now charge for everything-late check out-charge-early check in-charge.

It’s much quieter than the enormous resort hotels along Las Vegas Boulevard
The hotel has no casino which we really liked; there is no charge for valet parking (except tipping the guys) and the “resort tax” includes unlimited wine at the bar for an hour or so each evening.

But the resort fee i never has to remind them to charge this.

I saw a number of charges and credits from the 2 bills so I will need to check my credit card to ensure I was properly charged.

Of course in 4 or 5 days, you get credit for the 1st charge

but would also be careful to watch what I was being charged.

but we just used the steam sauna, and relaxation room free of charge for guests. Free valet parking (please tip well!)

Considering I've paid for hotels across Canada and Europe with that debit card it seemed bush league.

but the costs were a bit steep and there was also a $20 service charge - there is a 7 Eleven very close to the hotel and it probably would have been cheaper to get the groceries there.

However, I remember back when the Platinum did not charge those fees.

2)  You have to put your key card in a slot to make the AC work. We did not know this (no one told us at the front desk!)

but she had a bottle of wine and a card waiting for me and my family when I checked in.

We tried to reason with him on the daily deposit of USD 50 that is required by the hotel, as we wanted to pay this by cash as we had a debit card and this money goes on hold on the card.

The gentleman at the desk walked away with my credit card, did not say a work, came back with copies very questionable, when I to speak to a manger, he just justified the actions.

Vegas seems a little seedy everywhere, so don’t know what to say.

(But honestly, you're going to walk miles each day if you are out wandering in Vegas anyway.)

but there are a bunch of homeless people you need to walk past and at night they can get very mouthy and in one case, violent.

I find that quite unfair on the Hotel because step out onto any street in and around the strip area and you are going to find drunks, homeless and even drug addicts,

these felt a little seedy and I was a little uncomfortable walking past them by myself. .

Unfortunately I ran across quite a few homeless folks sleeping, sitting, or just basically hanging out within a block in either direction.

but quite a dodgy are overlooking a gas and power station with homeless people and drunks everywhere.

but the quality of the wine was questionable!

Avoid this terrible place !Very questionable and dishonest management.I had confirmed reservation and spoke to"customer service " rep on hone.

but I wouldn't recommend walking at night because the abutting gas station has plenty of shady characters (meth?).

Just a note on the recent mass shooting - this was a scary time to be in the City for us as we had been in the area just before the event took place,

You can buy bus passes onboard (exact change required, $5 for a day pass) and they are valid also on the Strip (the passes cost more if you buy them on the Strip - onboard the 202 you will get them for the residential price).

Wifi is open so people in the neighborhood piggyback on it.

Yes there are a few homeless people hanging around the hotel BUT this is Vegas there are homeless people everywhere.

However, the homeless situation seemed to be pronounced in the area of the hotel,with people panhandling within a short distance of the hotel.

That didn't bother me,what did is the amount of homeless people who bombarded me with requests for smokes or the use of my cell phone because the only place to sit outside is on the front of the hotel  stairs (right next to the bus stop),Which isn't even used as an entrance.

At night the ampm does have some questionable characters

It was too long of a walk in the heat and a slightly sketchy area to walk to the strip.

Its very close to The Paris Las Vegas, The Bellagio, The Venetian, The LINQ, Caesars Palace, its very central.

A wonderful, spacious, room for the 4 of us.

The room was lovely, spacious and well equipped.

The staff were so accommodating and the room was so very nice and most important to me it was clean enough to cook.

Rooms were really nice and spacious and clean………..the tub was our favorite part of the stay my family and I would definitely recommend this place you have everything you need to cook and clean my family and I will be back next time.

Whether you have a mountain facing or strip facing room, the views are amazing!!

We booked the Platinum hotel to stay in smoke free and clean rooms.

The room was spacious and the view of the strip from the balcony was great!

The room has a nice kitchen in our suite room.

Beautiful suite room; great view; friendly staff; easily accessible by car and walking; pool was great for the kid and adults; lots of space; beds were hard for our liking; washer/dryer; full kitchenette

Extremely clean very comfortable huge rooms and fantastic views of the mountains.

but can see from our room, has plenty of loungers and towels avaliable.

If you want to be provided with a room, don't use this hotel!

Stayed here ten straight years and will continue to do so so to its location, big clean rooms.

The location( a 5 minute walk to the Strip, timed) very well maintained pool, the welcoming staff from check in to check out, the  full kitchens and laundry in rooms,  great views at night of the strip, and quiet Mountain View rooms( we’ve stayed in all their room levels, from Solitaire, to Princess, and Marquise suites), with great wifi service, and large TVs.

My son's hotel room at the Platinum was burglarized by an employee or someone else with the help of an employee the weekend of his 30th birthday and his first time in Vegas.

The room was a one bedroom, with a large living room, full kitchen and a very nice bathroom.

Firstly upon arrival we were told that no strip view room was available even though we had requested one back on September 21st, You would have thought this was something they could sort out given they had 11 weeks to do so,

I didn't utilize the pool or the fitness room,

So, it is very possible our  room was given away

The room 100% could use some updating, absolutely nothing special about this place for the exorbitant prices they charge.

but the Cosmo kindly used our deposit paid for four nights against our now 3 night stay!

I was using a work booking and they didn’t accept the company virtual card, accused it of being fraud and then changed the rate!!

I did ask for a refund of our resort fee as this is supposed to cover internet connection.

Also, I thought people were crazy saying that they packed their own coffee machine, or bought one cheap in Vegas and left it behind,

For families who want to relax in a very expensive room, I would expect more.

They sent him to 3 different storage and the salon on property Andy no one had hairspray to sell him he had to walk to Walgreens, which made us late to our very expensive concert.

If you want to use the showers then you have to pay to use the spa ones !

I advised I did not expect them to reverse time or pay for anything specific.

Disappointingly you can’t get food late in the evening and it’s extremely expensive,

From slow check in with not enough  attendants on a Sat nite to a nasty room with old carpet, to no cleaning of the room after four requests, to finally getting tired rough old towels, the cosmo doesn’t  live up to its name or price.

NEVER AGAIN for the price you pay it’s absolutely not worth it.

I gamble with 6 figures and paid close to $1000 a night for this room (wasn’t gambling this trip) and couldn’t receive a $30 refund.

For a thousand dollars a night, for the most standard room, it was  average to stay the least.

I agreed to have them come to my room to do the repairs and clean.

Our room was perfect as always, fountain view in the Chelsea Tower.

Also was Pickpocketed from the overpass to my room.

The room was nice and the restaurants and bars were good.

The rooms are stylish, and the views of the Strip are impressive.

After reading so many good reviews online, we booked 2 "city rooms" (2 queen beds each) for 3 nights at the Cosmopolitan to celebrate our wedding with our three teen children.

but also surprised us by upgrading our room to a stunning suite with a wrap-around view.

I think for people who just want to come out and party and don’t care about the rooms, then fine.

Hotel is in a very central location (which has pro's and con's) and rooms are Ok,

but it would be soon and Rose would text us with our room number.

The room was an amazing, comfortable suite on the 50th floor with a balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains which from the roadside view on Las Vegas Boulevard are now obscured by the monstrous grandstands for the F1 &

My husband calls back and we are told request sent to house keep ongoing instead of in room dining and she would do  now.

Nevertheless, we love their rooms and we can usually get a nice breakfast across the street at Mon Ami Gabi at Paris.

I would rather stay at a cheap hotel than sit in a nice room for hours and not be able to shower and enjoy Vegas.

Our flight was late in the evening and we enquired if we could keep the room on,

After the repair and cleaning, the stain was still on the ledge, the light still wouldn't shut off and the marijuana was still on the patio.

2) The hotel's lobby and casino are full of a strong scent.

This time, the toilet room reeked of mold (had to break out the antihistamines due to my mold allergy), the paint was chipped in numerous places, and the sheen had just worn off.

I'm not sure if this is the type of hotel who's clientele has money to burn & are happy to pay for anything & everything when asked. .?

but that a smell sanitizer was being placed and maintenance was being called.

The place was filthy, noisy and the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The only issue was the smell of cannabis at times on the terrace.

We couldn’t sit outside the curtains were ripped, furniture filthy, when we contacted Virgin, there answer was , well we gave then a wrap around suite.

The fact that the valet teams are still practicing these habits is disgusting and unethical.

Don’t even waste your money in the smoky casino…a poor reflection on the Marriott brand especially for a platinum elite traveler…

Booked room with skyline view and we got a concrete wall and a car park with a foul cigar smelling room, a soaked sofa and generally dirty,  changed rooms to be put pool side where from 11am to 6pm the music booms and then again at 12 till 3am.

Their room was also stinking of stale smoke.

I also really like their bath amenities- the FiveWits brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash smell amazing.

Beds are cheap old and pillows uneven and patchy

Bathtub caused the shower to surge water out of the drain that smelled on par with sewer water and left the room wreaking for hours.

We spoke to numerous cleaning staff about the smell and we even went down to reception.

Stepping onto the patio was both amazing (the view) and disappointing (it was filthy).

You must carry your key card with you EVERYWHERE.

There were not many plugs to charge smart devices or sleep machines, on one side of the bed there were no outlets at all.

They no longer have free wifi -- was charged $12.99 per day PER DEVICE.

Once at the pool… the deposit that I had to pay at the front desk obviously was meaningless as I had to pay cash and couldn’t charge to the room.

She asked me about my last name, first, and last 4 digits to card.

It was a bit disappointing to be charged for the full daily resort fee on top of the reservation considering the casino, bars and spas were still closed due to covid.

Dang COVID even let your company charge me $88 for a resort fee?

We were moved to another room that was exactly the same..Then the hotel charged me an additional $200 for incidentals (aside from the resort fee) that was not at all in the fine print of my agreement.

She confirmed when booking me ANOTHER night that the charge would fall off.

Since we were only there one night we didn’t get a player card which was a mistake on our part.

The only real annoyance was the lack of outlets near the bed for charging your phone at night.

There is a $22 charge a night if you request a high floor,

There's the scam they charge you 1 bedroom suite prices and give you a regular room cause they overbooked!!

I’ve been to many hotels & have traveled & I’ve never gotten a charge like this to my account or gotten treated so poorly.

and when I checked out they charged me $59 to my card they claiming i take on their mini bar.

He said they do not take Greendot bank cards.

AMEX is still investigating the situation so hopefully I get my money back

Also walked through all the hotels on the strip one night, ending up at the the Paris Las Vegas, with he club at the foot of the Eiffel Tower which was also great.

I had booked a fantasy king room well in advance and when I checked in they tried to put me in the Ivory Tower instead.

And I must add the hotel was absolutely beautiful, the pleasant fragrance when you walked in the hotel lobby is breathtaking, and the rooms was amazing and the spa tub was very relaxing..

My room, 51-309, offered a breathtaking view of the mountains and was both clean and spacious.

The hotel was very reticent to give me a new room.

They were very helpful in assisting us in unpacking the vehicle of our belongings, luggage and bags and subsequently getting the items to our room.

My family and I stayed in a 38th floor two bed room suite.

but were able to be accommodated and got right into our room.

The room was amazing and very comfortable.We will be back for another staycation.

Marites and the Palms Place Manager went beyond expectations in working with me on  my room request.

It also took the housekeeper 30min to walk from downstairs to the room to do the cleaning.

You have got to be kidding me, ordered my kitchen things to the room as usual from housekeeping.

the rooms are large and very trendy , ours had a kitchenette and a beautiful bathroom and shower .

Our room itself was beautiful and spacious with an breathe taking view of the strip, our bed was so comfy and the shower/bathtub was amazing!!

Would not recommend completely a filthy hotel and uncomfortably stay!

But my room had dried vomit on the carpet and couch.

There are a lot of residents that smoke marijuana regularly and many of the rooms smell terribly because of it.

Also seems this is the place to come smoke weed cause the hallways and rooms reeked of it.

There was holes in the curtains, tears on the chairs, scratches on the table, tape hanging from the ceiling that was from a previous party, no cups in the drawer and worst of all when we tried out the jets in the tub within seconds the water to smell like a sewer and we immediately got out.

Completely filthy inside and outside on balcony.

My room was filthy (Tub with visible dirt ring, clean sheets to cover a dirty stained duvet comforter, hair in bedding, seating (bar stool) stained with what looked like blood, residue of something on countertop, dust EVERYWHERE! 5.

Only issue that i had was the musky smell of the room when we went in.

This did not help with the smell of marijuana entering our room.

Once inside the room was so dirty, chocolate chips left on the floor, windows were not cleaned , why have a balcony if there is no seating and filthy , gum on the floor just bad housekeeping.

Even during the day the smell in the corridors were overwhelming and nauseating!!

The no smoking / no casino feature means no smokey smell on you and your clothes.

Well there's a thick aroma of perfume in the lobby which was a bit aggressive.

That, along with the cigarette stench on our 1st night, are the only things that kept me from giving 5 stars.

My sheets hadn’t been changed—visible dirt on the pillowcases & they smelled.

You are within walking distance of New York New York, MGM, Excalibur, The Bellagio, Caesers Palace, Paris Las Vegas, and Harrahs.

We wanted a nice clean and quiet hotel room away from the strip and we got a noisy, dated room with no character.

We were able to get a 2 bedroom villa and loved having our own space and having a full kitchen and living room for relaxing.

Comfortable one bed room suite with l as the kitchen and dinning area.More than enough room for the two of us.

We were very happy to get into our room several hours before check-in time.

The rooms are  clean, nice and huge, and the beds are very comfy. .

We love the cleanliness of the apartment, the comfortable facilities and space of the room.

The rooms are apartments that make visiting Las Vegas very comfortable.

It’s a great hotel, great rooms, great customer service.

We were supposedly in a newly upgraded room.

It’s great for families too with a small room with toys, kitchen and slide for kids.

Upon arrival the room was clean and bright.

This is a big city, Marriott timeshare very akin to the Pulse venues in other cities, except this one does have one and two bedroom villas with full kitchens, whereas pulse is just a hotel room.

We loved the great valet system, beautifully appointed, light and airy rooms and exceptional staff -- the latter being well above the Vegas norm.

It is a timeshare location, so the rooms are more like condo style with a full kitchen and in unit laundry.

I liked how diligent security was in checking room keys by the elevators.

Construction was happening next to the hotel so it was a little noisy

The problem this year was not the fault of the CH, it was the construction  and road noise due to the building of the new Formula 1 raceway and the roads leading to it.

There was construction going on near the Strip so finding it was a bit more difficult than I expected,

Construction in the area closed a small portion of sidewalk on Harmon Ave.

The traffic was horrible due to Formula One construction in the area around the resort and strip.

There is a lot of road construction which is not their fault.

However, there was a lot of noise from the construction road outside that we can barely sleep at night.

However, there is currently a lot of noisy (day and night) road construction in the area, and traffic can get challenging

Much truck traffic right now with all the construction going on in Vegas.

This seems to be an outdated message, as we checked in May 2021 and there has been constant construction happening in the room directly across from ours.

but it is currently under construction so if you don't mind some noise from time to time (M-F 8am-3pm) this is the right place for you.

To top it off our floor was under construction and there was crazy loud construction going on outside beginning early in the morning.
