Felt safe and inside they have the aquarium, a sight to see.

My wife maintains several salt-water aquariums at home so she was mesmerized by the aquarium inside the Casino at the entrance to the Pro Bass Shop.

The best attraction was the aquarium with all the beatiful fishes.

Loved the aquarium and the mermaid, I could have watched that for hours.

The floor to ceiling aquarium at the entrance is mesmerizing for folks of all ages!

Nice walk through the attached outdoor store and the cool aquarium.

The Mermaid and fish aquarium is awesome!

Love the mermaid attraction and aquarium is so pleasant and peaceful.

She swam with an "official" mermaid in the huge aquarium located in front of the Bass Pro shops at Silverton.

If you have children, the HUGE aquarium with the mermaid that swims with the fish is FABULOUS!! !

Comfy beds, too many blankets, glasses in halls not removed daily, no refrigerator in room, good valet, good staff, friendly, good aquarium.

The aquarium and swimming mermaid wereally awesome.

My favorite was the large aquarium near bass pro shop!

The Silverton has a very large aquarium which at first seemed neat, some of the fish and sting rays looked rather unhealthy; one of the largest stingrays (See photo) appeared to have had its tail cut off.

Had visited Silverton on a previous trip to check out the property, see the awesome aquarium, and play in the casino.

For those who travel often, especially on the Las Vegas Strip know that mini fridges are far and few in between for personal use.

Four dollars for a cup of coffee is a bit much.

suggestion:  refrigerators and coffee machines in the rooms would be nice.

There is also no fridge or microwave in case of dinner leftovers.

We had such fun Hotel rooms are excellent so beautiful elegant very clean and pristine, I love having four pillows on each bed, I love the style of the rooms.

Carpet in my twin queen room was filthy, casino had a funky odor, aside from the cigarette smoke.

Housekeeping doesn't vacuum the baseboards in the rooms or hallways. Filthy!!!

There was holes in the shower and the bath tub drain was clogged and hardly moving.

The casino doesn't smell like smoke either, most other casinos your clothes smell like smoke.

The room smelled and felt like a damp basement.

1st room smelled like moldy towels left in the room for days on end, second room smelled like something we cannot describe, the diner took for ever to get service and it wasn't that great for the price regrdless of getting a 50% off coupon for signing up for their card.

however my only gripe is that there is no non-smoking area and we have asthma and my eyes were burning.

We didn't sleep well with the smell of smoke and the smell of weed through out the hotel. .

The rooms and corridors stink like smoke and mildew.

The only room available was a smoking room.

Smells awful with a mixture of cigarettes, alcohol and whatever else folks are smoking or vaping.

Strong smell of weed in the halls and gust areas as well as wrong reservation type and also had poor quality food at the Buffet.

The toilet leaked and the room had an odd smell to it.

Towels are disgusting they are very worn out and almost grey color.

There is a clear waterside going thru the aquarium even!

Love the way it’s laid out with easy access to the parking garage (we stayed in the Carson Tower, 17th floor) and Starbucks, Chick-fill-A, two other restaurants and the 4 star pool with a giant aquarium in the middle.

It features padded lounge chairs, a waterslide and a huge aquarium in the middle stocked with fish, sharks and stingrays.

I am so sad that we came here in January because I couldn't check out the pool slide with the shark aquarium.

The pool was amazing with the aquarium as part of the pool.

The other big draw is the water slide that goes straight through the aquarium with a glass tunnel – in reality you are going far too quickly to see anything, yet it’s still a cool and very fun experience.

The pool is beautiful with a waterfall, slide,huge aquarium with sharks you can swim next to and seating wall to wall for everyone to have a spot.

Love watching the aquarium while enjoying the pool.

I love the aquarium in the middle of the pool--it was fascinating to watch the fish and sharks up close and I could see that all the kids at the pool really enjoyed it.

Pool area very nice and the aquarium was cool too.

Other highlights include the Shark Tank aquarium next to the pool and the Golden Nugget exhibit; both worth seeing.

but the large aquarium by the pool was a nice touch.

They treat you so good there lv it there it is a 5 star place for sure they were always so happy to make your stay much nicer .i would recommend them 100% for sure  very pretty .We loved the fish aquarium and water slide was awesome.

I was told by a rude woman who answered the phone in housekeeping that I would NOT be getting 4 additional coffee pods in my suite that has a coffee maker that I stayed in for 4 nights. Really?

The hotel was quite good except there's no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, no fridge either.

The lack of a fridge meant that the only option for keeping drinks cold was the ice machine, which is a less than ideal solution for those who prefer the comfort and convenience of private amenities.

We did have issues with the coffee maker and slow draining sinks

but later found out that those rooms don’t have a coffee pot and that housekeeping is not available to guests in that tower.

Had a fridge and two tables and 2 chairs in our room.

How expensive is a coffee pot?they want you to go downstairs and stand in a huge line at Starbucks to get coffee as soon as you wake up, now that's enjoyable.

Warning, unless you upgrade, you will not receive refrigerator nor a microwave.

We didnt have access to a coffee maker or fridge in our room which did make food storage more of a challenge

It would be nice if the rooms all had microwaves.

We had to take the coffee machine to the bathroom in order to make a cup of coffee in the morning.

They make you text for items and after some back and forth, they called me and said it was $25 for 4 more cups.

It was made worse by many people willing to go the wrong way to get into a space to cut you off as you wait as a mug trying to parking safetly.

The cooling system isn’t the greatest (ran all night and blows from a conditioner on the floor instead of through ceiling vents) and there’s no coffee maker, fridge or microwave.

Golden Nugget is not a good value for the price; no coffee in the room, no click in the room, no shower cap, and no ear plugs (which are needed in order to sleep at night because of the thunderous music coming from Fremont Street.)

I ordered a Concierge service for a little extra cost

The rooms were dated , mouldy bathroom and not sure what we got for the resort fee as the wifi was terrible too.

Apparently in vegas- its citizens are paid so little- its citizens actually “demanded” a tip/gratuity and stated loudly they “lived off their tips/gratuity”.

but not to others paying the same price especially when advertising “wi-fi” ports?!

At that price we could have stayed somewhere where housekeeping is included.

Because I had arrived early, I paid 50 dollars for early check in so that I could place my bags in the room and also not have to wait in line again at the check in at 3 pm.

Taxi's very expensive that are outside the hotel.

In addition there was no wifi- something that I’m sure was supposed to be available due to the resort fee.

For as much as they charge, including the ridiculous resort fees, this should be automatic.

How can they even rent out this room especially with their exorbitant resort fees?

The ac didnt get fixed, wouldnt allow us to change our room and we paid for an upgrade pool room!?

My husband isn’t one to complain and figured we got what we paid for

Great rooms, awesome restaurants, terrific gaming.

Check in line was maybe a 30 min wait, paid for early check in and room was ready around 12:30.

Rooms were clean, centrally located, restaurants were good.

We came down for several of our friends birthdays..We upgraded our room, which was beautiful.

Resort, room, staff were friendly and helpful.

Many choices fun games  really nice rooms  sad the pool is close  wish  can be opened 365 days  bud I understand    I can wait to my next trip

but our room is always clean and the bed comfortable.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, central located, excellent casino and all those points for a really fair price.

The tranquility room in the Rush Tower was newly done, with a great view and very comfortable.

There are free ice machines on each floor with, use your room "ice bucket"   Be aware this time of the year to pool area is closed.

Moreover, the lack of coffee-making facilities in the room was another miss, particularly for those who look forward to a morning cup without the hassle of venturing out.

Our room in the Rush Tower was clean and comfortable.

The room in the Rush Tower was absolutely perfect, so clean and spacious with a seating area, the bedding was so comfortable and cozy to come back to after a long day of walking and exploring the Fremont Street area, I definitely recommend going to the spa for a full day of pampering with steam, hot tub, and massage, the MT's were amazing and so accommodating, it was so relaxing and the perfect way to begin the vacation.

The NUGGET surprised us with the room size, room amenities,  and the location to Fremont Street.

Stay in the Carson tower if you want quieter rooms.

However, the Casio was limiting for due the smoking conditions.

Our suite smelled of smoke so bad it woke us up at night. 2.

This casino now allows smoking all over, where Hard Rock had small smoking areas.

Room was disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned.

Casino was very smoky and cigarette smells.

Our only issue was a heavy marijuana smell outside our room and issue with many electrical outlets not working because they were loose.

The ceilings are low, which concentrates the smoke and its odor.

Get it together and spend some money on this ran down place, it's just filthy.

So, the smoke is really baked into the walls.

The line to check in was long, the first time we stepped in the elevator it smelled like marijuana.

The purses were practically empty with just a comb, fragrance oil, lipstick.

My only complaint is the pool area smelled like sewage for the 3 days we were there.

Otherwise, the crowd in the hotel is pretty trashy, loud and lots of smoking.

There was Mold around the caulking in the shower in our room 1012.

The bathrooms were nasty in both our suite and another room we had.

For the small child the mermaid show is great as is the Very Large Aquarium.

Our room was large enough with vinyl flooring which we believe is much better than carpet.

Upon entry, the room was bigger than expected.

Situated south of the strip, the hotel offers spacious, quiet, comfortable rooms and beds.

Our room was a Premium View King, and it was lovely.

They have a large facility, plenty of free parking, loads of good value food outlets, an excellent sports book, poker area and slot machine selection, and the rooms are always fairly priced.

The premium king was a good size room, wood floors, free slippers. Clean.

It has pretty decent rooms, pretty much vegas standard at the very least.

The rooms are large and well appointed if a little dimly lit.

However, the rooms are large, the staff is friendly, the meals in every resturant are affordable (find out about the 7 dollar steak deal) and they have something for everyone.

The rooms were spacious and clean with a comfy bed.

The rooms are quite spacious and come with a bathroom that looks nice and was very clean.

Next time, we will stay there and check out their rooms.

The cigarette smoke in the casino was not too awful.

The casino, I cannot believe Vegas allows smoking indoors.

However, in typical Vegas fashion, you must cross through the casino (where smoking, vaping, etc is allowed) to get to the elevators.

The only negative we could find was the second hand smoke mentioned in other reviews.

but we never stunk of smoke on our clothes as we had in previous years.

Have some empathy and respect for the animals you parade around and force to be shown. Disgusting.

a lot of the complaints on these reviews have been fixed since the reviewer stayed at the hotel
1. there is no more overwhelming smoke clouds in the casino, it no more smokey then anyother vegas hotel, they must have upgraded their vents
2. i used a debit card for my deposit on the room and got the money back in 5 days without me having to call in.

The smell of cigarette smoke was too overpowering to spend anymore than a moment or two in the casino.

but the casino appeared to be nice as well--no hint of cigarette smoke.

The stink is omnipresent and nowhere on the casino floor can you escape it.

Cons:  Elevator floors were filthy

Loved all the food places in the resort and the aquarium was fun.

Pool area is amazing, food options are amazing and the aquarium was so much fun.

Visited the aquarium and really enjoyed that.

Many TV stations including 2 of my favorites for quiet relaxation, the Fireplace Channel and the Aquarium Channel.

Upon first entry we were greeted by the aquarium channel and soothing music which was very welcoming.

The room was spotless upon arrival and the aquarium channel was on both TVs.

It was nice to be able to go to a concert downstairs in the casino, along with the awesome pool area of the Mandalay Bay, and the aquarium, all without leaving the hotel.

a lot of choices for entertainment in the complex, aquarium, convention center and a good restaurant and excellent foods,good nights admodfera..

We called and were lectured again before Wendy finally looked and saw we were right that the credit had not been applied.

I never had to swipe my own card in Vegas.

but did accept the $100 food and beverage credit.

The keys/phone apps are also hit and miss as to whether they work both the elevators and room doors (we had to get all cards).

The overall cost was too expensive vs. the room, additionally, they charged $75 to valet the car.

Really, charge me several dollars for a K-cup!

When our trip was over, we still had our card charge for an additional $300 for no reason with no explanation from the property.

When we got to the room it wouldn't unlock with digital card.

The front desk  said Don't take anything out the mini bar or you will be charged.

They sent housekeeping to change them about an hour later — she was a sweetheart — and gave a $50 food/drink credit.

To give some background, the hotel has a policy of debiting all spend as you go and have a hold on your credit card to do so.

But then, much to our surprise, they charged us $1600 for the suite!

Also, I feel we should not have been charged for the first night

but you are charged for everything - even coffee in your room ($15 for two cups you make yourself).

The staff would wait until at least an hour after the pool opened to check room cards for the Delano pool.

The desk staff was not good to my friend, they were drilling outside my windows at 7am, the fridge had a note that said you’ll be charged if you put your personal items in the mini fridge, the hotel was dusty, mattresses nasty, shower/tub stained, frozen daiquiri place must of had dirty machines because there was a bad after taste in the drinks from The Big Chill, a computer room sponsored by FedEx is wild with no actual amenities.

but it is totally annoying that the fridge is full of items that if merely picked up and looked at you get charged for.

If you don’t pay attention they’ll charge you just for having the audacity to look in the refrigerator.
