The room 100% could use some updating, absolutely nothing special about this place for the exorbitant prices they charge.

You pay for resort fee on any hotel in vegas

but the Cosmo kindly used our deposit paid for four nights against our now 3 night stay!

I was using a work booking and they didn’t accept the company virtual card, accused it of being fraud and then changed the rate!!

I did ask for a refund of our resort fee as this is supposed to cover internet connection.

Also, I thought people were crazy saying that they packed their own coffee machine, or bought one cheap in Vegas and left it behind,

For families who want to relax in a very expensive room, I would expect more.

per day 'resort fee' (also known as 'amenities fee').

They sent him to 3 different storage and the salon on property Andy no one had hairspray to sell him he had to walk to Walgreens, which made us late to our very expensive concert.

If you want to use the showers then you have to pay to use the spa ones !

I advised I did not expect them to reverse time or pay for anything specific.

Disappointingly you can’t get food late in the evening and it’s extremely expensive,

From slow check in with not enough  attendants on a Sat nite to a nasty room with old carpet, to no cleaning of the room after four requests, to finally getting tired rough old towels, the cosmo doesn’t  live up to its name or price.

NEVER AGAIN for the price you pay it’s absolutely not worth it.

Despite multiple complain to front desk I was offered earplugs

Read other reviews and noise related issues it’s just mind blowing they get a way with that

I gamble with 6 figures and paid close to $1000 a night for this room (wasn’t gambling this trip) and couldn’t receive a $30 refund.

The Cosmopolitan is in our opinion still the best casino, plenty of staff, the girls come round offering drinks and cocktails regularly and there is such a good atmosphere!

The room was nice and the restaurants and bars were good.

That said, it is in a good location, and has some stellar restaurants on site.

Later, as we explored the hotel, we ran into Aidan again, and he recommended a fantastic off-the-strip restaurant- Izakaya Go, for dinner.

Many restaurants and bars to choose from.

Food from the various restaurants and outlets was good.

Lots of restaurants, we had the Spanish tapas and was very good.

The only bright and shining light to the 5 days was Conrad at Overlook Grill for brunch.

Gorgeous place stunning people lovely smell 100% recommend staff are so polite and great food and genoutous human interaction great lighting for photos food is well prepared recommendations send to all my friends!

Also LONG lines for Starbucks and the Egg sandwich place.

So many restaurants in the hotel to chose from.

Our favorite restaurants were the Henry for brunch.

Gone is true customer service, amazing food and drinks and a fun casino.

The restaurant collection is my favorite in Las Vegas.

Of course the food, gambling and sports book were a huge asset.

Secret Pizza is that good infact that we went back twice!

After the repair and cleaning, the stain was still on the ledge, the light still wouldn't shut off and the marijuana was still on the patio.

2) The hotel's lobby and casino are full of a strong scent.

This time, the toilet room reeked of mold (had to break out the antihistamines due to my mold allergy), the paint was chipped in numerous places, and the sheen had just worn off.

I'm not sure if this is the type of hotel who's clientele has money to burn & are happy to pay for anything & everything when asked. .?

but that a smell sanitizer was being placed and maintenance was being called.

The place was filthy, noisy and the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The only issue was the smell of cannabis at times on the terrace.

We couldn’t sit outside the curtains were ripped, furniture filthy, when we contacted Virgin, there answer was , well we gave then a wrap around suite.

The fact that the valet teams are still practicing these habits is disgusting and unethical.

Don’t even waste your money in the smoky casino…a poor reflection on the Marriott brand especially for a platinum elite traveler…

Booked room with skyline view and we got a concrete wall and a car park with a foul cigar smelling room, a soaked sofa and generally dirty,  changed rooms to be put pool side where from 11am to 6pm the music booms and then again at 12 till 3am.

Their room was also stinking of stale smoke.

I also really like their bath amenities- the FiveWits brand shampoo, conditioner and body wash smell amazing.

Beds are cheap old and pillows uneven and patchy

Bathtub caused the shower to surge water out of the drain that smelled on par with sewer water and left the room wreaking for hours.

We spoke to numerous cleaning staff about the smell and we even went down to reception.

Stepping onto the patio was both amazing (the view) and disappointing (it was filthy).

-- The toilet room in the bathroom reeked of marijuana.

Another logistical aspect to consider is the absence of elevators for accessing higher floors of the various buildings in the resort.

Accommodation buildings do not have a lift

Stayed on the third floor at my preference; no elevators.

The resort does not have elevators, so if stairs are an issue-- especially in temps over 100 degrees F, then request a first floor.

No elevator had to walk up and down stairs.

No elevators, so if you need to be on the ground floor, let them know.

There are no elevators and each building is three stories.

but none of the building had an elevator.

Only complaint I have is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor.

No elevator, we were on 2nd floor so had noise above and below.

The only negative is the lack of an elevator for all their three-storey buildings.

Keep in mind there are no elevators and 3 floors.

These are fully self-service apartments and if you are not on the first floor unfortunately you do have to drag your suitcase up the stairs as there are no lifts.

there was no offer of help with luggage, as I was on the 3rd floor (no elevators here) and no further anything.

There are 3 floors and no elevators, so if you have trouble with stairs, make sure you request a ground level floor.

There’s no elevator; Room interior looks good except the dryer was not working.

The only downfall there are no elevators and carrying luggage, groceries and stuff to the 2nd and 3rd floors.

And finally, as I said the rooms were not in the same area which caused the seniors with mobility issues in our group to have to go up and down the stairs ('cause they do not have elevators)!!!

My only negative is lack of elevators for schlepping luggage & groceries

I stayed at the Paris Las Vegas on a previous trip and that was a great location for all the Vegas nigh life.

however i had a phone call to the room from someone who decided to kick it up a notch.

Instead of adding amenities, they are taking them away, for example, the shuttle to the strip was discontinued, therefore you have to venture on a treacherous road, and pray you make it to the strip in one piece or call a taxi.

Second call, i had someone who said they couldn't do it

There was a broken light in one of the rooms and the employee at the front desk didn’t seem to understand when we had been calling to check out (she said we needed to vacate the room even though I told her we were already on our way out),

I asked for a phone call and they sent me an email just stating I was refunded and I should have read the fine print.

Nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a call or two.

Had to call in for extra towels and laundry detergent.

The front desk takes a long time to answer the phone.

However she handed the phone over to Ryan (checking in) and asked me a few questions on reservation & if ok to allow my cousin to check in without me.

We routinely were told there was no room on the shuttles and told to call call a cab .

The staff all seems to operate on it's not my job philoshy and getting to a manager on the phone is difficult.

but it was all resolved within 30 minutes of calling the office.

I had to go online and make calls to find information regarding food and attractions.

Took 3 calls and 2 hours to get toilet paper sent to our room, really.

but i was listening to music for almost 40 min and after that call disconnected.

I had to call  the front desk because I could not find the washer and dryer.

Great location as you are near the strip and they have a restaurant and bar at the resort if you don't feel like going anywhere.

Really enjoyed the resort and we used the restaurant a couple of times.

The restaurant on site was delicious and the market place was well stocked.

Stay was convincent to my needs assess was easy , food available and parking near by.

We loved having a kitchen and a patio to enjoy our own meals instead of the high prices of restaurants on the strip.

The restaurant onsite served a great breakfast.

Also, a short walk away is Ellis Island with decent restaurants (we enjoyed the BBQ place) and a small casino.

There is one casual eating place within the complex.

They have a little spot to buy a meal and get some convenience items.

She was friendly and engaging I was by myself and it is nice for someone to talk to you when you are eating alone.

Place is great, nice pools, great restaurant on site.

We ask if there were places to buy some beer and other drinks for our room and were told we could walk to the strip and find a Walgreens or CVS.

10 min walk to the Strip provides a good distance to be away from it and enjoy the multiple on site pools along with games room and onsite eats.

The location is close to the strip for entertainment and restaurant choice,

The resort even has a restaurant and market on site

It's so much more relaxing than the hotels on the strip with lovely pools , a convenience store, restaurant, or our favorite is to  cook  in your own units kitchen or on a provided BBQ.

The walk to the strip is about 15 mins leisurely in the heat, and the best way is to head straight towards the Wheel as there are bars and restaurants below it.

The resort has 4 pools, hot tubs, a restaurant, and nice, clean spacious rooms.

There are a dozen of good affordable restaurants in the nearby area.

I’ve now discovered they’ve charged the full $100 to my account.

They said it was due to my card being declined, what a bunch of BS!!!!!

We were charged for the first night, we booked a King Deluxe room.

The ATM in the lobby charges a $5 fee per transaction, $300 maximum, $20s only.

They have lost the focus and now charge for everything-late check out-charge-early check in-charge.

It’s much quieter than the enormous resort hotels along Las Vegas Boulevard
The hotel has no casino which we really liked; there is no charge for valet parking (except tipping the guys) and the “resort tax” includes unlimited wine at the bar for an hour or so each evening.

But the resort fee i never has to remind them to charge this.

I saw a number of charges and credits from the 2 bills so I will need to check my credit card to ensure I was properly charged.

Of course in 4 or 5 days, you get credit for the 1st charge

but would also be careful to watch what I was being charged.

but we just used the steam sauna, and relaxation room free of charge for guests. Free valet parking (please tip well!)

Considering I've paid for hotels across Canada and Europe with that debit card it seemed bush league.

but the costs were a bit steep and there was also a $20 service charge - there is a 7 Eleven very close to the hotel and it probably would have been cheaper to get the groceries there.

However, I remember back when the Platinum did not charge those fees.

2)  You have to put your key card in a slot to make the AC work. We did not know this (no one told us at the front desk!)

but she had a bottle of wine and a card waiting for me and my family when I checked in.

We tried to reason with him on the daily deposit of USD 50 that is required by the hotel, as we wanted to pay this by cash as we had a debit card and this money goes on hold on the card.

The gentleman at the desk walked away with my credit card, did not say a work, came back with copies very questionable, when I to speak to a manger, he just justified the actions.

Vegas seems a little seedy everywhere, so don’t know what to say.

(But honestly, you're going to walk miles each day if you are out wandering in Vegas anyway.)

but there are a bunch of homeless people you need to walk past and at night they can get very mouthy and in one case, violent.

I find that quite unfair on the Hotel because step out onto any street in and around the strip area and you are going to find drunks, homeless and even drug addicts,

these felt a little seedy and I was a little uncomfortable walking past them by myself. .

Unfortunately I ran across quite a few homeless folks sleeping, sitting, or just basically hanging out within a block in either direction.

but quite a dodgy are overlooking a gas and power station with homeless people and drunks everywhere.

but the quality of the wine was questionable!

Avoid this terrible place !Very questionable and dishonest management.I had confirmed reservation and spoke to"customer service " rep on hone.

but I wouldn't recommend walking at night because the abutting gas station has plenty of shady characters (meth?).

Just a note on the recent mass shooting - this was a scary time to be in the City for us as we had been in the area just before the event took place,

You can buy bus passes onboard (exact change required, $5 for a day pass) and they are valid also on the Strip (the passes cost more if you buy them on the Strip - onboard the 202 you will get them for the residential price).

Wifi is open so people in the neighborhood piggyback on it.

Yes there are a few homeless people hanging around the hotel BUT this is Vegas there are homeless people everywhere.

However, the homeless situation seemed to be pronounced in the area of the hotel,with people panhandling within a short distance of the hotel.

That didn't bother me,what did is the amount of homeless people who bombarded me with requests for smokes or the use of my cell phone because the only place to sit outside is on the front of the hotel  stairs (right next to the bus stop),Which isn't even used as an entrance.

At night the ampm does have some questionable characters

It was too long of a walk in the heat and a slightly sketchy area to walk to the strip.

Its very close to The Paris Las Vegas, The Bellagio, The Venetian, The LINQ, Caesars Palace, its very central.

We had meetings here that were well supported, good food and provided a good venue for our group.

Having a refrigerator and microwave was so helpful saving us a little money on food and drinks.

but there's so many places to eat in Vegas this really isn't a problem.

Spa no on get there and the small place to eat off the lobby is always closed.

Used the kitchen a few times during my stay, the provided full set of cookware made making meals easy and the dishwasher made for a easy clean up.

If you want snacks there is liquor store just down the street and Ellis Island Casino is almost next door with good food and great prices, and also for upscale dining there is a Lawry's.

Front desk clerk was kind enough to turn on lights in the closed restaurant for my call.

We’ve stayed here 13 years running, and enjoy the clean, quiet rooms, we’ve stayed in Solitaire, Princess, and Marquis suites, and they’re all great, with full kitchen areas  in Princess and Marquis, clothes washers and dryers in room, balconies very spacious, and a great local casino(Ellis Island) just around the corner for food choices, since the Platinum has temporarily closed theirs.

Room has a fully equipped kitchen for those who want to prep something to eat.

The Ellis Island Casino and 3 restaurants were right next door along with walking distance to the strip.

Two blocks from the strip and a quick walk to numerous restaurants and casinos.

The spa, restaurant, and lounge are closed.

Held a business retreat there, the facility was amazing, the restaurant had wonderful food selections and the view was amazing..Highly recommend using them if you have a business function.

Room is like an apartment , great size, very comfortable, with everything you can need to prepare breakfast or any meal.

We didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant on this occasion

The restaurant handled our lunches for 20+ quickly and accurately.

While the prices were reasonable and our food came quickly and nicely presented, the food was mediocre at best.

The bathroom was almost too small for one person.

I went to restroom for my travel was a bit long,  and toilet did'nt flush,  I immediately went to front desk to let them know and they fix the issue right away awesome on their part.

There was no plug in the sink which had clearly been adapted to save water.

Bathroom sink was literally a 12” x 12” square with no counter top space at all and shower was barely large enough to fit a very small adult.

The bathroom was small and dirty, hair all over the bathtub.

but I was only in the room to sleep and shower.

I found several water bottles under the bed and someone’s blood pressure meds.

primarily the shower head in room 1236 is a piddle and then the drain doesn't work so you are standing ankle deep in gray water.

Bathroom toilet looked to be straight out of a public bathroom.

was the toilet plugging and sitting in our room om Friday night for an hour while they fixed the toilet.. We got yelled at by security several times for pulling our masks down to have a drink or a puff, We will not be back

The toilet is from a 1980's middle school.

but the walls in the bathroom were coated with toothpaste/soap splatters.

Both the sink and tub had cracks in them.

There was black stuff stuck or cigarette burned on the bottom of the top, there was mold on the outer edgest of the handle in the tub and the bathroom mirror had dirty fingerprints all over it.

Bathroom had pee marks down the wallpaper next to the toilet.

The bathroom, in particular, needs a revamp.

I would recommend Paris Las Vegas if you're looking to spend a little extra to stay in a posh place with young people around
you.

They extended and added a food court with some great selections including Dunkin Donuts, Craft Kitchen, Steaks & Shakes, and so on.

There is a food court in the back of the Casino (steak and shake, Dunkin, etc) as well as a "Chinese" kitchen and chocolate factory inside the casino.

Food hall has plenty of options for anything you would need.

but edible if you were hungry for a quick bite to eat.

As is th norm there are lmited eating facilities in the hotel.

Tony Romas was great and so were other restaurants.

but wait, I suppose the hotels, casinos, and restaurants here are making lots of $$$ from the visitors.
