They give your packages to the attached UPS store, which then tries to charge to receive them.

Book through the hotel website to avoid fees not charged by third parties.

Stayed on points and was charged "resort fees".

The additional "destination" charge is not reimbursable for government travel.

When you check I the hotel refuses to recognise this benefit/ commitment and charges you the additional night  (con- men).

but drop an f-bomb on the poor soul tasked with delivering that news to guest and demanded a refund of $600 for the amount I was overcharged and referred to the manager, whom he repeatedly blamed for the outrageous trade show pricing in the first place.

Adding insult to injury, this Renaissance charges you $17 per day for parking.

Jon Carlo gave me a phone Charge the other night when I was panic about charging my phone.

The room was not inexpensive and then on top of that you get the $17/night charge for parking and a $30/day fee for WHAT?

The only down side is that I have a pet peeve and that is paying resort fees and parking fees and the Renaissance charges for both.

but with each charge they charged my credit card.

Given basic internet would normally be included, and I may or may not want the beer and dessert, it seemed to be a somewhat questionable extra charge.

The first morning, each of us were charged $9.00 each for coffee (I believe the correct price was supposed to be $4.00).

Of course, we then get charged $20 for 1 hr 20 minutes - the managers assurance was worthless.

but was far from good after I took a deeper look into my charges.

It charges $15 for parking, and adds a $30 destination charge for sundry items like one way metro passes, a whisky & desert you may not want.

but for the money charged, I don't see why they can't provide a couple of each.

The prices and room charges are deceiving, they charge a "destination" fee of $29.

I was also supposed to receive a $35 parking credit according to the timeshare company

The next day emailed the front desk manager and gotten a call back advising me that the item was not in the lost and found inventory.

After waiting over 20 mins, my wife gets a txt I sent because she said the cell phone wasn’t ringing in the room.

I asked the individual taking the call to cancel the reservation, they did not respond and hung up.

I could hear the television and the phone conversation of the person next door to me in the bedroom.

Text and phone call ahead of stay to coordinate any needs.

I am tired of COVID excuses for limited service, please restore full service to call yourself full service.

A while later, we received a phone call in the room saying “a robot is outside of your door delivering the items!” What a cute delivery guy!

The beginning of the trip was horrible we then needed a place to check in immediately they not only booked it quickly over the phone discounted us as well on short notice. .

but still haven't gotten around to calling the hotel to fix it.

On booking via phone we requested 1. three rooms on the same floor, 2. late checkout so that our daughter could get ready at the hotel with us for her wedding the following afternoon, and 3. an upgrade if possible as we are platinum.

Of course I complained and was told the hotel manager was going to call and I'm still waiting for that call.

When I arrived the elite line had non elite foreigners who could not understand the clerk and no other clerk whether busy or not would call me over for assistance.

I overheard guys in rooms on either side of me conducting phone calls this morning at 7 AM.

Finally, while the resort fee is annoying, the monorail passes are great for getting to the strip without having to call a car.

I was now told that no insurance person would call us because there was no forced entry into the room.

I did call and asked to be moved .. they said there were no rooms ..

We had to call the front desk multiple times on the neighbors bumping rap music at 2:30am.

Great hotel to work from if looking short distance from all noise and distractions.

but far enough away to be quiet and you get a good rest in the nice rooms.

The rooms are well appointed, and more importantly they are extremely quiet.

A very comfortable, quiet accommodation was provided.

Since it's off the strip, traffic flow is good all the time.

Maybe an upgrade add some tasteful sound proofing or damping to the suite bedrooms at least.

Sleep was great and the hotel was very quiet.

Also forgot the extra bonus of not having gaming so you don't have all that extra foot traffic and the hotel is a 2-3 walk to the tram that will take you to the strip.

Hotel was hosting conference and handled the extra traffic with grace any style.

Hotel was so clean and comfortable and in a great location off the strip, so it was quiet,

You can have a spirited time in the bar if you desire yet the rooms are quiet and peaceful.

If you want to get away from the noise and the bustle of Las Vegas Blvd at the end of the day, this is ideal.

To be fair, my first night was a dream, so very quiet and no noise from the hall ways or adjoining rooms.

This will be my choice going forward. Quiet.

We were given access to the club lounge while we waited

I spent some time in the club lounge where Sherrie greeted me.

but not least the 2 attendants in the Club room were so nice, helpful, friendly, welcoming. .

The best part of this property is Regina at the club level.

We received the upgrade to access to the club lounge which was opened between 5 pm to 7 pm.

Enjoyed our stay, particularly due to Regina in the club lounge - shows that one person can make a huge difference in your stay, She was fantastic and made the stay so much better.

The club lounge is back open and provides a great breakfast and snacks.

The ladies up in the club lounge are very friendly and helpful for breakfast and evening snacks and cocktails.

She even upgraded me to the club level access since I am a Gold Elite member.

The afternoon hors d'oeuvres that were served in the club lounge was okay (nothing special).

As a Marriott Platinum Elite, one benefit I look for (and a reason for choosing this property) is access to the club lounge.

The service at the club lounge was exceptional.

The young woman working at the restaurant (petite, dark hair pulled back) hustled and provided great service despite having quite a few tables, and the ladies in the Club were very attentive.

Other than that we enjoyed the pool, the restaurant and the club lounge used for Platinum Elite members.

The club lounge (top) floor happy hour snacks and the breakfast served was above average in quality and [the lounge] staff is very pleasant and eager to assist.

Excellent service, fast response by all employees, good breakfast variety in the Club Lounge with healthy options for the happy hour (crudités, hummus, olive tapenade, cold cuts, cubed cheese, grapes, one hot hors d'oeuvre, then dessert later).

Our last day, we we able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast in the Club Lounge.

We had access to the Club Lounge for breakfast where I enjoyed steel-cut oatmeal, fresh fruit, and a great cup of coffee.

We were on the flamingo property and we only heard the music while we in the pool.

This hotel owns the fact that you can clearly and loudly hear the Flamingo pool's club music all day from 9am to 6pm; the front desk told me on check-in about the music, they were very up-front about it.

The Negative was the music by the Flamingo pool.

Also, the Flamingo Hotel and Casino's pool's music (Hip Hop I guess) was extremely annoying.

Only negative is be prepared for the extremely loud music coming from the Large Flamingo Pool from 9:00AM to 6:00PM.

If the loud music is ignored, then the property is 5/5 rating.

But there are minuses like very load music from Flamingo that can be heard in room, especially low tones - you hear bum, bum in your room.

We did get constant loud base music from that pool

The pool does back up to the pool at the Flamingo resort, and they play loud music during the day,

We had empathy for the front desk crew as there were 2 nights of our stay where the Flamingo Go Pool had private events that meant the music went hours later -

The music begins at 10 am and does not stop until 6 pm.

The pool music does start around 10am, solid beat which did not bother us since we were usually getting ready to head out for the day anyway.

Our room was on the 11th Floor and we could still hear the music.

It is stated up front that you will hear the music and yes the base.

1: Behind the Flamingo Hotel (which made location only highlight of the stay) -- the Flamingo Adult Pool plays L-O-U-D MUSIC (DJ daily 10-6), so loud, the walls vibrate in the HGVC) 
2: Beds as hard as a rock!

Some days was noisy because of the music from the strip keep hearing the boom boom boom from the subwofer a bit annoying only because we like to sleep in until late.

There are super loud thumping bass pool parties all day every day, so forget sleeping off jet lag or having a lay in because it’s literally impossible.

Stayed away from loud, crazy party pool, the Go Pool.

The bass pounding from the adjacent Go Pool at the Flamingo could wear on you.

However, after the Flamingo's pool music stopped, around 7pm I started clearly hearing a different source of loud club music; I have no idea where it was coming from

The volume and bass levels are utterly ridiculous and shake the windows.

The only caveat  is that the rooms are very loud during the day.

though the Flamingo pool got loud during the day.

The pool at the Flamingo is loud and rattles the windows.

There is a DJ plating extremely loud pounding music that goes non stop all day.

The bass is so loud it vibrates the windows, can be irritating if you are looking for a little peace on vacation or have day sleepers or nappers.

If pool parties and loud music are your thing, the Hilton really is the perfect hotel; I believe the parties only go on in the Summer months, so if you're travelling out of season then definitely go for the Hilton,

YOU CAN FEEL THE BASS PUMPING THRU YOUR ROOM.

You cannot sit out at the HGVC pool for the incessant overly loud music on the other side of the hedges and fence coming from the Flamingo who cater to another completely different demographic.

I know some others have posted about the noise from the pool, which you can definitely hear.

This location was peaceful and quiet, yet a short walk from everything.

It closes at 6:00PM and is very quiet after that.

There is daytime noise from next door go pool and the music.

It’s a faint sound and it doesn’t bother us.

The proximity to the Flamingo has big pluses with restaurants and a pool view and some minuses with the pool noise.

Lucky for me, the weather was cool and the nearby Flamingo "GO Pool" remained closed--no loud music-- so my room (facing the pool) was wonderfully quiet and peaceful 24/7.

Otherwise its a low key place if you want to be in the action of the strip and stay somewhere kind of quiet.

As I don’t gamble I also appreciate the quiet with no on-site casino, and the small pool area away from the partners at The Flamingo,

And never at night, very quiet at night there.

but on others we wanted a quiet day, but found the noise so bad that we couldn’t venture outside to use the pool.

So if you like peace and quiet, within reason at a pool, you may want to consider another Hilton Grand Vacation Club  in Las Vegas.

It was quiet so you can get some rest after clubbing, and there was enough space for people to share beds/use the pullout couch.

Though the HGV seems to have decent sound insulation, you can't remove the dull background thud of the bass from the Flamingo next door.

Otherwise, you have this one at this hotel, with jaccusi, very nice and more quiet.

It made the place so nice and quiet and relaxing (and smoke-free!).

Also, they put their pool conveniently next to the place where the building next door off gases their sewage. Yeah.

There is a garden path from the hotel lobby that will take you to the Flamingo valet circle; at that point you either have a short walk through the Flamingo's casino or down an alley to reach the strip; I recommend the casino as the alley had a lot of traffic and smelled bad.

but it’s overpowering to the point of having to leave the room.

However, the most bothering was the loud music from Flamingo Hotel Pool, the nasty music was extremely loud.

There was a chemical smell at the hallway leading to the unit like chlorine.

It’s one of the worst things I’ve ever smelt and it didn’t go away no matter what we did.

Also, when using the Hilton pool the smell of sewer gas is quite strong, and made staying there intolerable.

The constant, booming sounds emanating from the adjacent Flamingo Hilton pool penetrate your eardrums until about 9 pm.

but not cleaned as there was some nasty white stuff that bubbled up as I filled it.

This hotel does not have a casino and is non-smoking which is amazing!!

but really not into the smoke filled casinos, this is an excellent alternative.

Not certain what the air freshener smell is at the HGV’s,

Unfortunately the showers on both sides had easy to see mold in them.

The Hilton Grand Vacation on the strip was filthy, vomit on the toilet and a complete lack of amenities.

but smelled of dust and sprinkle on carpet cleaner, the bedskirt had an Ombre look, due to the stains).

but the guests at the Flamingo Hotel pool next door, which is shared, were loud, vulgar, crude, the cigarette and pot smoke wafted over the whole area, and their drunken behavior and total domination of the pool area made it very unfriendly and impossible to use for families.

The only thing we received were two bottles of nasty bottled water which I get as a diamond member anyway.

It’s close to all of the action without all of the smoke.

The Paris was a nightmare- horrible service and the windows were disgusting and could barely see the Effie tower.

No matter which room you stay in, the club music BLARING from the GO Pool at the Flamingo is TOO much.

When we bought HGVC  back in 2007; Hilton was really pushing the club resorts that they have built and are building.

The staff are the best asset of the Club and the property is well located nestled among the Ling, Caesar's, Bellagio, and Bally's.

One of the best vacay stays I have had since being in the club.

The club is in excellent condition and the location is outstanding.

We've been coming to the Club at the Flamingo for 15 years, and the staff is top notch.

Another logistical aspect to consider is the absence of elevators for accessing higher floors of the various buildings in the resort.

Accommodation buildings do not have a lift

Stayed on the third floor at my preference; no elevators.

The resort does not have elevators, so if stairs are an issue-- especially in temps over 100 degrees F, then request a first floor.

No elevator had to walk up and down stairs.

No elevators, so if you need to be on the ground floor, let them know.

There are no elevators and each building is three stories.

but none of the building had an elevator.

Only complaint I have is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor.

No elevator, we were on 2nd floor so had noise above and below.

The only negative is the lack of an elevator for all their three-storey buildings.

Keep in mind there are no elevators and 3 floors.

These are fully self-service apartments and if you are not on the first floor unfortunately you do have to drag your suitcase up the stairs as there are no lifts.

there was no offer of help with luggage, as I was on the 3rd floor (no elevators here) and no further anything.

There are 3 floors and no elevators, so if you have trouble with stairs, make sure you request a ground level floor.

There’s no elevator; Room interior looks good except the dryer was not working.

The only downfall there are no elevators and carrying luggage, groceries and stuff to the 2nd and 3rd floors.

And finally, as I said the rooms were not in the same area which caused the seniors with mobility issues in our group to have to go up and down the stairs ('cause they do not have elevators)!!!

My only negative is lack of elevators for schlepping luggage & groceries

Calling front desk during office hour for said dead cockroach

however i had a phone call to the room from someone who decided to kick it up a notch.

Instead of adding amenities, they are taking them away, for example, the shuttle to the strip was discontinued, therefore you have to venture on a treacherous road, and pray you make it to the strip in one piece or call a taxi.

Second call, i had someone who said they couldn't do it

There was a broken light in one of the rooms and the employee at the front desk didn’t seem to understand when we had been calling to check out (she said we needed to vacate the room even though I told her we were already on our way out),

I asked for a phone call and they sent me an email just stating I was refunded and I should have read the fine print.

Nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a call or two.

Had to call in for extra towels and laundry detergent.

The front desk takes a long time to answer the phone.

However she handed the phone over to Ryan (checking in) and asked me a few questions on reservation & if ok to allow my cousin to check in without me.

We routinely were told there was no room on the shuttles and told to call call a cab .

The staff all seems to operate on it's not my job philoshy and getting to a manager on the phone is difficult.

but it was all resolved within 30 minutes of calling the office.

I had to go online and make calls to find information regarding food and attractions.

Took 3 calls and 2 hours to get toilet paper sent to our room, really.

but i was listening to music for almost 40 min and after that call disconnected.

I had to call  the front desk because I could not find the washer and dryer.

Hidden gem just off the strip with comfortable beds, easy check in and quiet pace after the action on the strip.

It was really quiet at night and my “standard room” was in in fact consisting of living space open to kitchen, bedroom, large closet, bathroom with separate toilet and a shaded balcony.

All  in All, Great location, loved the 2 stories not long to get out and back in like big resorts on the strip, not crowded and so nice and quiet at night.

Lacking Vegas vibes, it was a quiet, family friendly resort.

It is very close to the busy Vegas strip yet off from the noise.

but far enough from the noise and craziness so you can have a relaxing time.

Building construction makes the unit pretty quiet.
