The Cliffs at Peace Canyon is perfectly located for our visit to the Las Vegas strip as well as Red Rock Canyon and the Hoover Dam.

Also, near enough to drive to a few beautiful and historical sight: Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, Hoover Dam, Nelson Ghost Mining Town.

We appreciated free parking and we were close to drive to myst see attractions like red rock canyon and the Hoover dam.

We rented a car and went for hikes in red rock canyon, saw the Hoover dam and Grand Canyon.

We rented a car and felt like it was a reasonable drive to Valley of Fire State Park and Hoover Dam.

Enjoy day trips to the must visit Death Valley and Hoover Dam.

We saw more of Vegas and surrounding sites, Red Rock Canyon and Hoover Dam in a rental car.

A short drive to red rock canyon for scenic views, an even shorter drive to Freemont Street in an evening and driving to Hoover Dam was also easy from this location.

The resort was clean, well laid out, convenient to Vegas as well as Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon.

From this resort we visited Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire State Park, The old railroad tunnel trail (that was used when building hoover dam), Death Valley CA (about a 2 hour drive) and yes Las Vegas (15 minute drive).

Red Rock Valley, Hoover Dam, Boulder City, mountain trails, and so much more that people do not know about.

We spent three days visiting the Las Vegas Strip or Fremont Street, and three days driving to Lake Mead/Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, and Mt Charleston area.

The railroad tunnels gave a perfect view of Lake Mead and also opportunity for hike to the Hoover Dam.

We rented a car to venture on day trips: Grand Canyon, Red Rock, Mead Lake Cruise, Hoover Dam, old Railroad walk, Fremont Street, The Las Vegas strip, Lone mountain, Top golf, visited friends, and relaxed at the pool.

Easy to access routes to Hoover Dam and Lake Mead and Valley of Fire.

Hoover Dam is a great tour and about 1 hour away.

Close to Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire State Park, Lake Mead & Hoover Dam.

We visited Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon (south rim), Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, watched Mystere and spent a day on touring Las Vegas Blvd.

This was a great location and best time of year to travel to Valley of Fire, Red Rock Conservation Area, Hoover Dam, Death Valley and of course the Strip!

Wonderful resort - quiet and excellent location to visit Red Rock Canyon, Death Valley, Valley of the Fire, and Hoover Dam.

It is a nice quiet resort within driving distance to many attractions.

It's away from the noise and traffic of the strip, yet only about a 20 a 20-minute drive, if you want to go there.

The shuttle drivers were all so friendly and provided tons of information.

but you can still take the shuttle and not have to worry about driving there or paying for parking.

This location was fantastic, close to amenities and only a short drive away from the hustle and bustle.

Shuttle drivers Rocky, Steve and other man were very good and accommodating.

It was very convenient and the driver was great.

Shuttles to Fremont, Strip, Red Rock (or the grocery store) on the hour (we got a rental car & we'd never been there before so we spent most time out driving to Canyons)

Quiet and relaxing and if we choose to go for the excitement, we can drive down to the Strip.

The Cliffs if a favorite place due to its location away from the strip and 12 miles from the Red Rock Canyon visitor center which is a great place for a drive or hikes.

I found the $50 resort fee a little bit cray considering it's an old apartment complex.

I also wasn’t aware you now have to pay for housekeeping,

$50 resort fee and $150 deposit which is pretty normal.

Everything on the strip has gotten very expensive (no more free parking or cheap meals at the big casinos anymore), so the next time, I'll go to a resort with a smaller casino somewhere off of the strip.

The shuttle took us to the Strip so we didn't have to deal with the difficult and expensive parking there.

However, they charge an extra $30 for a resort fee.

The fee for the shuttle and wi-fi and fitness area is $30 for the week.

Without the shuttle service I would t stay as would be expensive to Lyft all the time.

This was my 7th time coming out to Las Vegas in the last10 years and after confusion and $244 later( RCI messed up reservation and cost me) we were assigned our room  The next day is when it went south, for a little, after going to store we returned home to make Breakfast.

With the now escalating fees _ I wonder WHY?

The only reason I didn’t rate with 5 stars is the tile in the unit needs professionally cleaned .

I believe that the resort fee included WIFI do that should have been refunded.

Was charged a resort fee that included Wi-Fi.

I don't seem to be able to submit this review because I'm sure they don't want to hear about how they double charged me for a room I already paid for.

To add insult to injury, this property had the cheek to charge a resort fee for the week !!!

We were told that taking trash out of unit was our responsibility after paying extra cleaning fee.

We paid slightly less here than we would have paid at a hotel nearby, and we had way more space.

My partner did not attend the breakfast "update" (sales pitch) so the breakfast was cancelled and the refundable fee was not returned, This nickel and dimeing was uncharacteristically cheap and underhanded considering that evrything else about the resort was excellent.

but only 20 min away if you want it 
the resort offers a shuttle to the city so we never had to drive in and park parking is expensive and vary from where you park to valet service.

It's a clean, small quiet complex far away from the madness of the strip.

Was so nice to be in Summerlin, and able to enjoy some peace and quiet away from all the F1 nonsense currently on the strip. p.s.

but on the other hand, it was also nice not to be disturbed.

We really enjoyed the time we spent there, very clean and quiet.

No noise, so you can stay calm and relaxed at your room.

Very quiet location in Building S, Room 1073.

My first time here, wanted To be away from strip in quiet safe location, it was all that, pool was a bit over run with kids splashing about, furnished nicely, had a signed parking and close to Red Rock casino and Rampart, overall was pleased with stay.

Lovely, quiet resort just minutes from "The Strip" and more importantly to us-just minutes from Red Rock Park and about 45 minutes from Valley of Fire, both of which were incredible.

what I like about staying at the Cliffs is that it is a quiet resort, Family friendly and perfect if you just want to get away from the crowd.

Hotel is in a quiet area about 20 minutes from the strip.

Shuttle DOES stop for local shopping center and once a day to Red Rock Casino, nearby.

It is  away from  the main hustle and bustle of Las Vegas (15-20 min by bus), shopping centers within a few blocks, dedicated free bus to Las Vegas main strip and red rock casino.

It was nice to find out we had a shuttle available to the Strip, Red Rock Casino and Outlet Malls.

The freeway is close, also nearby is the Red Rock casino if you don't want to head 20 mins to the strip.

Shopping, restaurants and Red Rock Casino was nearby!

It is consistently friendly clean  close to Rte 215 which makes it convenient to getting around to the strip, the airport, Red Rock Casino and Red Rock Federal Park.

Such as go to the local grocery store, the Red Rock Casino or to the strip.

And of course the Red Rock Casino is very close.

If you're going to have a fun, relaxing experience, in a place that's about 10 minutes from Red Rock Casino (also pretty laid back and fun) and 15 from The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, this more your groove.

Near Red Rock Casino (I think 8 minutes).

The Red rock Casino and several other casinos are within minutes of this facility.

The strip is about 15 min away, the airport is about 15-18 and Red Rock Casino and Sumerlin area with mall, eats and fun for kids is about 5-10 min away.

Great access to golf courses, restaurants, strip, downtown and red rock casino.

Red Rock Canyon and Red Rock casino 3 exits up the freeway.

If you are inter3ested in gambling the Red Rock Casino is only about 10 minutes away.

An easy drive to Red Rock Casino or use their free shuttle to Strip/grocers (if driving, staff provides a list of free vs paid Strip parking sites).

Used the shuttle almost every day, with a great variety of locations available,,,grocery store anytime, red rock, fremont st, and mirage, so a car was not required for us.

We spent most of our vacation at Red Rock and Blue Diamond and this was a great location for that.

We went to see the national parks in the area, and this location was perfect for trips to Red Rocks, Fire Canyon with full day trips to Bryce and Zion.

You can plan hikes and check out the rock formations.

The colour of the rocks against a clear blue sky are memorable.

Resort was clean, good location to red rock and 215.

It is off the strip and close to Red Rock Canyoon which was a plus for us.

The resort is impeccably maintained including rock solid internet.

(Smith's on Flamingo) Less frequent runs to the Red Rocks Casino are also available.

We enjoyed the Childrens Museum, Red Rock movie theatre , Pet and Magic shows at the V Theatre Planet Hollywood and a 2.5 hour drive to Grand Canyon West.

Is you like hiking it’s close the Red Rocks park as well.

15 minute drive to Red Rock Conservation Area.

Close to downtown Summerlin for great shopping, restaurants and Red Rocks Casino.

Its a 20 minute drive to Red Rocks Canyon which was also great.

Loved this resort, for being Vegas-adjacent. Definitely felt like we were away from The Strip, and closer to nature (Red Rock Canyon.)

The bathtub was filthy, soap scum EVERYWHERE.

even though the rooms are smoke-free, people can smoke anywhere on the grounds, including the balconies; so, we did smell smoke a couple of times in the unit.

Pros: Friendly staff, spacious units, quiet, full size washer/dryer 

Cons: Dated, over crowded with furniture, showers quite disgusting, units need deep cleaning (blinds are filthy, hair in bathrooms, fingerprints on furniture and appliances), units need general maintenance (broken blinds, bedroom TV would not work)

Moldy shower curtain.Bathroom sinks had to be snaked.

The pool went "down"--closed because of chemical imbalance?

Did not take luggage this time opened door overwhelmed by a musky smell, mold on wall.

There is a noticeable smell when you enter the unit and there is a slight smell of gas that needs to be checked.

I was embarrassed to take my family of 10 at this disgusting resort.

Hair in the bathroom , bugs in the tub & kitchen, large nasty stains on the furniture - looked like they should have been in a guys dorm instead of a Gold Star resort (not so much).

but not much reaction to acknowledge short coming in cleaning during a pandemic
There was pigeon poos and cigarette buts on the balcony when we arrived.

The apartment appliances were so old it carried a stench.

When we arrived after midnight, the room had not been air conditioned (85 degrees), there was a dirty toilet seat, and it had a funky smell.

1. the unit we were in smelled of past smokers staying in it.

The grounds were also sloppy -- trash, smeared fruit all over the walkways dropped from trees, cigarette

Checked in a Non-smoking rooms smelled like cigarette stench when you walked in.

Carpet fresh to hide smoke was very strong.

but for what they charge for their rooms they need to address dirty and worn rooms.

Additionally, my credit card was charged $363 for a prepaid room that we did not charge anything to.

I booked through a 3rd party so they added a 100$ nightly “security deposit” along w/the 400$ (50/night) resort fee to my credit card.

though the electronic tablets have lots more ‘cards’ I don’t feel it’s worth the $73. Price.

but they charged things to her account, that were for options she told them she would not cover!

It is quite frustrating to have to wander around and always have a key card in hand to utilize the elevators.

They say it charges if you remove it for >15 seconds

I was charged for an upgrade on a room for two nights in which I didn't stay in the room.

You can request one and they may or may not charge you for it depending on what it’s for (for kids food, no charge).

I have to also mention that they tried to make up for the cleanliness issue by giving us a $100 resort credit.

Their solution is a small credit towards the $600 rate they charged for the day.

I was strongly warned not to be late or skip the appointment, for there would be charges and penalties if I did.

No one offered a future room credit or to comp our room or anything.

When we called to get the tray removed they said there would be a $25 charge ( totally unexceptionable).

Red Rocks Resort front desk called me 2 weeks ago (end of June 2021, $8,800), stating the One80 Penthouse I paid for and booked is no longer available.

According to her, maintenance was supposed to be in charge

No more multiplier days for their points card unless you are local.

As far as I know, they do not charge for parking (another perk of an off-the-strip hotel) and it is easy to get to from inside the hotel.

The City National Arena where the Vegas Golden Knights practice is walking distance, the shops at Downtown Summerlin is right in back within walking distance from the casino.

Walking distance to the Downtown Summerlin shopping mall was also a plus!

Downtown Summerlin is within walking distance or a short uber.

The resort is easy walking distance to downtown Summerlin, with many shops and restaurants if you don’t see anything at the resort itself.

We loved the location of the resort; it was close to Downtown Summerlin mall, which was a great chillout spot after day trips out of the Las Vegas.

I have three kids, and was recommended this place by a friend due to it having the “Kids Quest” area.

They have a movie theater, kids quest, bowing and arcades.

It has a huge bowling alley, nice gaming area, movie theater, kids quest.

The Red Rock has a movie theater, bowling ally, Kids Quest, and sits across from Summerlin Centre which is walking distance.

The kids quest facility was fun for our 4 yr olds - we were nervous to leave them there,

It was so nice to be in Vegas without all of the noise and craziness of the strip.

It's always been a great experience - except for the over-billing and the noisy neighbors.

Loved our room- signature deluxe with two queen beds- gorgeous marble bathroom- suite was over 1000 SF and very quiet with 1.5 baths, living room, beautiful views of canyon and pool area.

I ended up passing out from dehydration and an ambulance came and transported me to a local hospital.

We decided to stay at this hotel after hearing wonderful things about it.

3 Relaxing Cabanas and pool side lounge chairs await you for a quiet pool side full service drinks and meals.

Rooms very quiet, comfortable, and clean.

You can'always believe everything you see and hear on TV.😷

I also like the fact that the property is 25 minutes away from tourist areas, which reduces the traffic.

We also heard no noise from within the hotel either.

If you love Vegas and want to get away from all the lights and noise of the strip I highly recommend the Red Rock.

One of the pluses is that you are about 20 minutes from the Strip so you are away from some of the noise.

This hotel is far from all the noise of the strip and you get the best sleep and peace of mind.

The rooms are reasonably quiet, for a high-end hotel,

1st morning of our visit jack hammering above out room.

After dinner we try our hand at a table (black jack of course) and enjoy a quiet evening.

We had the most incredible experience during our 7 days at the Red Rock Casino Resort.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Red Rock Casino and resort.

In town for  three  days business meeting in Sun City Summerlin   ,  Resort only 17 mines from the  airport , N. West of Vegas near Summerlin  , office check me into Red Rock Casino  and Resort ,  although it is away from the strip  , price almost  like any resort on the strip , about  800 rooms , free  shuttle to the airport  , the resort be around almost 16 years ,,

We eagerly anticipated our stay at Red Rock Casino.

Red Rock Casino has a new modern feel that also has a great ambiance with its red sandstone architecture that reflects nearby Red Rock Canyon.

Whenever I can, I stay at the RED ROCK CASINO Hotel.

I booked a room at the Red Rock Casino for New Year's Eve and purposely selected a room with a "Strip View".

I have stayed at Red Rock Casino over the years many times.

Just spent a great week at the Red Rock Casino.

We enjoyed our stay at the Red Rock Casino.

Don't ask me why we chose to "getaway" from our strip apartment and head on out to Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa for a staycation,

Now, Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is everything that the name implies.

I enjoyed it enough that when I go back to Las Vegas I plan to spend time at Red Rock casino again.

I recently attended a Sales Meeting at the Red Rock Casino and stayed for four nights.

We had a very nice stay at Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas.

The air in the room smelled stale and like industrial chemicals.

..
-ROOMS were FILTHY..hair that was not mine in shower and on toilet seat.

The only part that I did not love is that you can smoke in the casino,

If you are sensitive to artificial or perfumed odors, it can be a problem.

The smell permeate everywhere including the non-smoking rooms.

but I found a way through it even though I detest smoke.

Like all Vegas casinos, you have to walk through the casino to get to any restaurants, and it reeked of cigarette smoke,

Only negative is some food stops are close to the casino floor and gets  some of the cigarette smoke.

but we walked through the area once and the smoke was hurting our eyes so we avoided the area.

We went back up to the room and it was mildly warm, i figured that maybe it just needed some more time, more marijuana smell entering my room.

As soon as we got into our room and turned the lights on, we noticed how filthy and dusty the room is.

However, this time our room had a sewer smell from the bathroom.

We chose to stay in a suite and my daughter pulled out the sofa couch and the sheets were not on the bed and the mattress had a huge urine stain on it.

Adding further insult and showing the craziness and double standards of the policies is the fact that cigarette smokers can actually sit at a slot machine inside the casino and smoke a cigarette- no mask!

.WAY more disappointing was the fact that even after at least 3 calls to the desk and or housekeeping,  after 2 days, still no one cleaned up the vomit in the ice  room down the hall!!

Today at 1 am at  Black Jack table ,The floor manger Jeff is a awful ,rude, very very bad attitude he get anger to customers and talk nasty words .

but the 10% that was smoking was negatively impacting the other 90%.

The same empty pizza boxes (I know cuz I marked one), and even cigarette

I valet parked (the valets were nice and professional), and went in to find my ex sitting there, exhausted, with a pool pass in his hand.

Starting with the entrance from the valet parking, to the lobby, red is everywhere you look.

Great location and friendly staff not to mention the free valet parking.

The hotel has free valet parking and features a huge bowling center, a proper movie theater and the pool area is also very nice.
