This hotel has a central heating system that cannot be effectively controlled from inside the guest room.

Known problems with the thermostat caused the AC unit to constantly switch off of A/C and to heat.

Room was dirty (stained sheets,dead bugs behind fridge) and ac was non working and felt stuffy.Low shower head pressure.

Our air conditioning in the room did not work at all, it got up to 76 even with the window open on a chilly spring evening.

We also wished that there were instructions to control the thermostat.

I didn't turn on the air conditioning as it was cold.

The staff blamed it on an old central heating and cooling system.

They claimed they do not run the AC in the winter.

No room AC, had to sleep with window open, which was loud.

There is no AC in the rooms our room was 80.

The Subway in back will save you time waiting in line though. CONS: They an emergency A/C repair scheduled for the 2nd night I would be there--notice was that there'd be no A/C (summer in Vegas!)

Not a fan of the nickel and diming of resort fees.

We contacted the desk at first they sent someone up and determined it was broke then we was informed it was not in fact broke that the system will not run AC if the heat is on in the whole building.

the only issue we had was with the AC not working 100%

We couldn’t control the thermostat in our room, so we couldn’t get the room temperature to our liking.

The AC unit also is a joke as it didn’t work.

They got the fan to turn on in neutral/fan only.

We picked the Casino Royale since it was located in a great location and they don't charge for parking and resort fees.

Just back from our 1st vacation in Las Vegas and had a great time at Casino Royale.

The Casino Royale is in the middle of the action.

Casino Royale is a great place to stay and play in the middle of the strip.

Best Western Plus Casino Royale was our choice and we weren't disappointed.

Casino Royale is in the perfect location on the strip. It's so easy to park the car (for free!)

BWP Casino Royale Center Strips Had a very good location that come with free parking.

The Casino Royale was always a nice place to stay and offered good price rooms and the gambling was good.

We had enjoyed our prior stay at BW Casino Royale and it remains a good place to lay your head.

Responsive noise from the corridor penetrates the room, a lot of running in the corridor which made it difficult to get undisturbed sleep.

even though we declined housekeeping (in which case are supposed to call whenever you need anything), rooms were quiet, heard nothing from adjacent rooms or hallway that earplugs couldn't handle.

It was a long hallway to my room so ask for a lower number room if walking is difficult.

The hallways smelled disgusting every time we walked down it, like rotten garbage.

One morning, when I opened the bedroom door, there was a strange drunk in the hallway, and two policemen.

~Had to run the air/heat system to block out occasional hallway noise of people talking/closing doors.

They gave me a room near the mid hallway elevator.

Only after the complaints were made,they offered a room at the end of the hall.

Every 60-90 minutes throughout the ENTIRE night there was VERY loud arguing, fighting, cursing, sexually explicit conversations, elicit drug use, and constant slamming of doors in the hallway immediately outside of our room.

My complaint with this hotel lies with how early housekeeping starts cleaning the hall and rooms and VERY loudly.

Room soundproof was rather poor, overheard banging of doors, footsteps and even guests chatting along the corridor.

but I could not find it using the hallway signs (not sure where it was but I gave up looking).

"Mature" talking loudly in the corridor or letting their doors slam shut during the night and in the morning.

The entire place including corridors & hotel rooms smell very, very bad.

Reception in the middle of the gaming hall which is pretty noisy.

Housekeeping staff (though very good at their job) were very noisy early each morning in the corridor, they woke me more than once during our stay,

Otherwise, it was clean and our 3-floor room was quiet as long as the window was closed.

Room was clean and quiet, bed very comfortable, nice to have in room Keurig machine and refrigerator.

but it had comfy beds, a quiet and dark place to sleep (also a great surprise) and bathroom that worked well.

Guests appeared to enjoy a place that was quiet while reading, visiting.

If you can ignore the smoky, worn down casino area, the rooms are clean, safe and relatively quiet.

For its price we got a hotel that was not only quiet .. it was convenient and was close by to EVERYTHING.

The room was quiet..although we had no view, we were not there for one, we were there to quietly rest after a crazy day w/ fantastic A/C and again, did I mention the fridge?

The hotel is clean and the pool area is secluded and quiet.

Room was comfortable, spacious and quiet.

Still fairly quiet at night for a good nights sleep if you need it.

but comfortable, the bed was great, it was quite quiet for a hotel on the Strip, and the front desk and housekeeping were quick to respond to our request for additional coffee for the Keurig coffee maker.

A lovely,  clean, quiet budget hotel located on the Strip.

maid service was great, hallways were quiet, no street noise, and you can exit the parking garage out the back to skip alot of the strip traffic.

The hotel area is very quiet and private.

Rooms on 100-level, which is slightly below ground level, have a damp musty basement odor.

The smell of drains from our bathroom basin was quite strong

I had to go all the way through Harrah’s unless I walked through the BW parking garage and on a stinky service street which only took a few minutes.

The odor of mold and urine was pretty intense - and together with the guy smoking up outside our window had me asking for a different room on a different floor.

We bathed in dirty water backed up from the drain for 3 days.

Room was disgusting, we got "forgot" about by housekeeping and the free night travel voucher was not honored after it had been accepted when the reservation was made.

The carpet is smelly and the sheets they must definitely be thrown away and get new ones.

Unfortunately cannot recommend Casino Royale due to bathroom uncleanliness and terrible water odor in the restroom.

The area of the hotel is not sealed off as non smoking.

Lobby rest rooms floor was nasty and unsensitized

Ended up booking Treasure Island which was 100% better the the urine smelling Casino Royale, will never attempt to stay there again or use Best Western.

In addition, there were a couple of very shady characters attempting to gain access to the pool area, and one of them got pretty nasty when my wife wouldn't let him in.

Bedding was filthy, duvet had blood on it.

We also stayed right on the strip for 2 nights before that at the Best Wester Casino Royale.

Oddly, a woman started banging on our door at about 1 in the morning, telling us that we were too loud and would be kicked out if the noise was kept up.

My issue is this: I put in the DO NOT DISTURB sign in the key lock and sure enough, at 8:30 in the morning someone from housekeeping started knocking on my door and tried to open the door!

In addition, someone or different people turned the door handle of my hotel room 3 or 4 times during the night  which not only made it hard to sleep

I get to the door of my room and the one key wouldn't work at all

My husband was TWICE given magnetic keys that did not open our door.

Your maid will enter your room even if do not disturb is on the door so beware.

Also they now keep all outside doors locked so when you are trying to take the dog outside from your room you have to prop the door open with something.

however my experience started when the “ backdoor “ ( ugly black industrial door , looks like a maintenance entrance) failed to unlock the door with my magnetic key - after many , many , many numerous attempts , I still couldn’t unlock it .

ie lack of electrical and usb outlets to charge devices, our bathroom door would not stay closed, rooms pretty small.

I was carrying luggage out the door and tripped and fell hard, getting a huge bruise and multiple scrapes that bled profusely.

Last, if you bring luggage inside in the side door (the front door and lobby are closed) there is no ramp, so granny lift it up.

There were 2 small dogs staying next door.

Everything seemed far away; lobby, breakfast, exit door, etc.

however we heard all the hallway noise as well as other doors.

room was very dusty and dirty with the carpet sticking to my shoes, it was disgusting and the back door was broken so i had to walk to the front door to get back in with my pet

If two people occupy the room, the one in the bathroom must be careful not to swing the door into the other person.

Took out a carry on and backpack walked to the door, keys did not work.

There is ice cold water and hard candies when you walk in the door.

We just hated the huge bathroom door that swung open and blocked the tight walk space out the door.

The hallway needed a vacuum, the hot tub was cloudy, and the breakfast nothing really special,

Super loud elevators, dogs barking and kids running up and down hallways.

but the person vacuuming the hallway was talking and singing very loudly.

however in a very shabby state, bed lumpy, very noisy hallways and doors slamming, noise from floors above at all hours.

It definitely smells like dogs and dog urine in the halls and outside to the point it made our dog anxious with all the dog odors.

Headed to my room and elevators are way down the hall out of the way and hard to find.

The property seemed to be wrapping up renovations as some of the baseboards were missing in the hallways?!?

they were laying flooring in the hallway at the lobby which was a little inconvenient

Room: The first morning, I was still sleeping around 8:30am and some people were talking loud and laughing right in the hallway so that ruin my morning sleep.

Plus, they'd run around the room & into the hallways.

I could easily hear the family in the next room, the children playing in the pool, as well as people in the hallway at late hours.

On the flip side, the walls were thin you can hear what's going on in the hall and the place was a maze.

Only negative was occasional rambunctious children in the hallway at breakfast time, otherwise great staying experience.

Only negative was dog owner who,left his,dog alone in the room across the hall.

Walked down the hall back to the front of the building to get a key again from the same girl at the desk which she fixed again with no apologies.

- a bit in the middle of nowhere if you don't have a car, tho the convenience store has food and you can order Papa John's pizza delivery as room service
- The 2 elevators are kind of far from the end of the L-shaped hallway, which does have secure stairs.

The room is poorly insulated— you can hear clear conversations in the hallway and neighboring rooms.

The showers had Mold in them.The air conditioning was not pumping in the room.The seating chairs was so nasty.I could go on

Despite the closeness to the airport there is no loud noise to be heard in the room.

Also, we had over 30 people in our party all arriving at different times.

The walls would vibrate, and you'd hear this loud thud.

The people in the room above me were super loud which was unfortunate - otherwise great place to stay!

On night two and, three the neighbor decided he wanted to talk extremely loud all hours of the night, not to mention the constant traffic he had come through even an escort service yup, that’s right.

When we first got to our room, you could hear the tv in the next room blasting.

The worst part is the fan which comes on few times per hour and it is very, very loud.

There was also a belligerent drunk singing and arguing at the top of his lungs, his tv turned up loud as can be.

If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the exit door by our room was pretty loud every time it was shut.

I was concerned with the airport being so close it would be loud.

Not loud, considering we were next to the airport.

I checked in on a Thursday night and out on Saturday morning and only really heard planes that Saturday morning and it wasn't very loud.

My only complaint is the loud crowd that was in the hallway one night after 3 AM,

We ate at Bentley's, a quiet, friendly dinner place within walking distance.

I really liked being able to see the planes land and take off .

though and responded quickly to a complaint about the kids above is jumping, stomping and running after 11:30pm.

Quiet hotel where I got plenty of rest after working all day for over a week.

Even if you don't have a pup and don't want all the traffic, noise, etc., of the LV strip.

Quiet nights and TV has many movies on demand for guests to watch.

even though its across the street from the runway, it is quiet in the rooms.

We will definitely stay here again, its away from the strip and quiet.

Despite being right next to the airport, it was surprisingly quiet, clean, and safe.

No noise from the airport even being so close.

Always nice room, good service, reasonable price, pet friendly, low traffic, easy parking.

The rooms were adequate and the location was quiet.

Close to the strip, Very Quiet even with dogs and little kids running around.

Room included a microwave, fridge, and well-functioning (and quiet) air conditioner.

You can definitely hear the jets taking off starting around 6:00 in the morning - one after the other every ten minutes.

The $100 free play at Casino Royale is on a bank of fake slot machines.

Feeling happy, we went to a show then headed to the Casino Royale to gamble.

The $400 gambling money was only good at the Casino Royale and only good on their "promotional" slot machines with no possibility of winning any actual money.

There was also a note in the room to be prepared for construction noise from 9am to 6pm,

The warning sound of a construction truck backing up was heard all night long.

Cons  their was construction going on and their was a flyer for this.

I did phone and speak to Carol who so kindly said nothing we can do, the construction is at the Cosmo.

The place is dated, because of the construction we ended up with view of a wall.

.their was obviously a construction and it was tough to find the parking possibilities and if it took any longer I would've carried that car there without driving 20 minutes through that garage. .

The pool was not really usable - there was netting over head- I suppose to protect from nearby construction- and had very little sun.

One issue is that there is a lot of construction going on literally outside the front entrance, so you have to navigate the construction zone if you are heading for Vegas Blvd.

True, during the construction 6 years ago it was loud and inconvenient.

We hadn't been for a long time due to the construction and renovations.

The main door isn't obvious especially with the construction going on,

I would not suggest that anybody try to sleep during the day because there was some sort of construction noise that was extremely loud even on the 5th floor.

Be prepared for lots of heavy truck, bus and construction traffic on the side facing the Bellagio.

A nice quiet atmosphere in the midst of all the madness in the surrounding area.

I didn’t have a room with a view and that was okay as it was exceptionally silent and quite.

It is perfect to avoid snoring from the different adults in the group and we had no issue of neighboring noises on our 1-night stay in early december.

Interesting, the driveway ends at the entrance to The Cosmopolitan's indoor traffic circle.

very quiet and easy access to everything.

but to me that was actually better than hearing noise from other rooms.

The condo complex is 100 m from the strip so easy access to all the fun,  it also enough distance for the noise to be of no concern.

My suite was on the 7th floor of the Derby Tower, and it was very quiet and comfortable.

Very large room--that was nice, except for that elevator noise.

Overall the property was clean, quiet and low key which we were looking for since we had a young family.

although a lot smaller and in the shade, was also nice, quiet, and relaxing.

It’s quiet yet right in the middle of the action for many of the resorts.

Vert quiet which is a plus for a Vegas hotel!

but quiet, with very little sun because it is surrounded by really tall buildings.

but off the road just enough so that the room was very quiet.
