Felt safe and inside they have the aquarium, a sight to see.

My wife maintains several salt-water aquariums at home so she was mesmerized by the aquarium inside the Casino at the entrance to the Pro Bass Shop.

The best attraction was the aquarium with all the beatiful fishes.

Loved the aquarium and the mermaid, I could have watched that for hours.

The floor to ceiling aquarium at the entrance is mesmerizing for folks of all ages!

Nice walk through the attached outdoor store and the cool aquarium.

The Mermaid and fish aquarium is awesome!

Love the mermaid attraction and aquarium is so pleasant and peaceful.

She swam with an "official" mermaid in the huge aquarium located in front of the Bass Pro shops at Silverton.

If you have children, the HUGE aquarium with the mermaid that swims with the fish is FABULOUS!! !

Comfy beds, too many blankets, glasses in halls not removed daily, no refrigerator in room, good valet, good staff, friendly, good aquarium.

The aquarium and swimming mermaid wereally awesome.

My favorite was the large aquarium near bass pro shop!

The Silverton has a very large aquarium which at first seemed neat, some of the fish and sting rays looked rather unhealthy; one of the largest stingrays (See photo) appeared to have had its tail cut off.

Had visited Silverton on a previous trip to check out the property, see the awesome aquarium, and play in the casino.

For those who travel often, especially on the Las Vegas Strip know that mini fridges are far and few in between for personal use.

Four dollars for a cup of coffee is a bit much.

suggestion:  refrigerators and coffee machines in the rooms would be nice.

No refrigerator, no coffee maker, no table to sit at.

even though I couldn't connect my iPad to the tv and there was no fridge in the room.

There is also no fridge or microwave in case of dinner leftovers.

Liked the least, no coffee pot in the room.

Miss the refrigerator in the room, ice machines need filters or changed if they have one,: funky tasting ice.

If not that a small side table so as to put the coffee maker on, so you don't have to put coffee maker in the bathroom and take the space from your vanity mirror.

The only set-back during the stay was that there was no microwave and small fridge.

FYI, there are no refrigerators or coffee makers in the room.

Need to put coffee makers and makeup mirrors in the rooms.

And you know what they say about slots: The further away from the Strip you get, the higher the RTP rate.

It has great restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and at reasonable prices.

Both services and food quality were great, and prices were very reasonable.

Reseasonable pricing and only a few min drive from the strip.

First,  about a year ago the (management/owner) decided to reprogram all the player machines to pay for the newly upgraded hotel rooms, swimming pools and carpet.

I lived in Las Vegas for over 50 years and come back from time to time for business and have seen the Silverton evolve from the old Boomtown to today's first rate resort!

If you need a off strip hotel on a weekday for under $50 incl resort fees this is your spot.

As long as I get good rates I will stay more often.

Definitely a more peaceful night’s sleep at a very reduced cost.

Rooms are fairly nice and if your a gambler the slots pay out most the of time and there is table games as well sportbooking

Every time I come to Vegas I stay here because the rates are affordable and half the price of what you will pay for on the strip not to mention the hotel and rooms are 100% better than anything you will get on the strip too.

The resort fees are reasonable and even free parking!!!

The staff where very friendly, check in with no problem and checked out pretty quick, no hassle and no hidden fees.

the food was amazing and the prices were reasonable considering the awesome service I received from the wait staff and the manager.

Carpet in my twin queen room was filthy, casino had a funky odor, aside from the cigarette smoke.

Housekeeping doesn't vacuum the baseboards in the rooms or hallways. Filthy!!!

There was holes in the shower and the bath tub drain was clogged and hardly moving.

The casino doesn't smell like smoke either, most other casinos your clothes smell like smoke.

The room smelled and felt like a damp basement.

1st room smelled like moldy towels left in the room for days on end, second room smelled like something we cannot describe, the diner took for ever to get service and it wasn't that great for the price regrdless of getting a 50% off coupon for signing up for their card.

however my only gripe is that there is no non-smoking area and we have asthma and my eyes were burning.

We didn't sleep well with the smell of smoke and the smell of weed through out the hotel. .

The rooms and corridors stink like smoke and mildew.

The only room available was a smoking room.

Smells awful with a mixture of cigarettes, alcohol and whatever else folks are smoking or vaping.

Strong smell of weed in the halls and gust areas as well as wrong reservation type and also had poor quality food at the Buffet.

The toilet leaked and the room had an odd smell to it.

Towels are disgusting they are very worn out and almost grey color.

Li!e that the casino floor is not smelly!

Oh there's a really big game fish aquarium in the lobby, next to the Outdoor World store if that's your thing.

The front desk grudgingly said they'd send up towels and soap,

room towel holder fell off wall at first use, washbasin faucet faulty- only hot water- and shower light inoperative.

The       mattress had huge yellow stains, pubic hair in the shower, blood on the lamp shade the sink was clogged.

but it became unbearable when the shower head would not stay in place enough for someone none handicapped to shower.

although the bathroom was really small 
Our room failed to be cleaned so I rang the front desk.

The hotel smells like weed, pool closes at 900 PM, pillows are flat, bed is extremely uncomfortable, carpet is stained and filthy, a dirty wash cloth was left hanging on the shower door, and the rooms look nothing like the website.

No water available in your room unless you don't mind drinking  out of the bathroom faucet.

SHOWER HAD low pressure, TOILET is sma like for children not adults.

Our only niggle was that there was so little room in the toilet/shower, we had to get in the shower cubicle in order to open & shut the toilet door.

Other than Internet & Parking, staff could not tell me what $28.22 Resort Fee was for

Carpets were sticky and the bathroom fixtures needed maintenance.

but the carpets were just atrocious in the hallway and in the room, bathroom was incredibly small, but we got a good sleep and it got the job done.

Bathroom door  is ridiculously close to the toilet, you kind of have to step in the shower to close the door.

but bizarrely designed - plenty of floor space but the toilet and shower are jammed into a tiny space - why?

( I suppose this explains the shopping bags of trash in the hallways.)

but like the hallways, its routine maintenance upkeep can use some better attention.

Having respiratory issues, I was surprised to find that our room smelt like an ashtray and people were openly smoking in the hallway.

The hallway to the room had a definite smell,

The carpet in the hallway to the guest rooms had  black and red stains.

The only way to describe the hallway carpet is it looks like it was salvaged from the dump.

The HALL ways smelled like really strong cleaning chemicals and cigarettes mixed.

Skimped on 50$ and ended up with a room down a long dark hallway, dirty carpets that were attempted to be covered up with industrial cleaners which wreaked the hallways into the rooms.

Hallway walls and elevator are stained as well.

Elevator and hallways smell put red like they have over sprayed the stink.

Also the halls smelled so bad it was difficult to walk down them.

Just entering the hallways and the check-in desk they had so much perfume pumped in the air he could barely stand it.

The stench of deodorizer in the hallways was overwhelming.

even the peep hole to the hallway had something blocking it.

Hallways smelled musty and the bathtub looked like it needed a thorough cleaning.

The hallways literally smell like an unkempt bathroom.

The hallways are dark, dirty and smell awful.

Base rate plus taxes were already paid in full.

but the room was fine, and for the price I paid I have no complaints.

Friendly Employees, Reasonable price, rooms okay for the price.

The hotel is within a hefty walking distance of the Strip and the price of the rooms beat anything on the Strip and even downtown.

You will see a final price on your reservation,

Perfect location and a really well kept laid back affordable hotel with great priced restaurant.

(All part of their greed based plan to pay for their WiFi upgrade.

I didn’t need a 5-star resort, just something reasonably priced, clean, close to the airport and had an airport shuttle (our flight was at 9am and I wanted the convenience).

First off the hotel is definitely a ‘you get what you pay for’ type of property.

I'll continue to stay here as long as they maintain this property and keep prices low. Thanks!

but double that with resort fees and a 100 deposit .. the only bright spot was the restaurant upstairs food was delicious!!

S.S. had a room rate of $18 plus fees so it was a bargain to try for $50ish.

Also, it has  a price calendar, so if you have flexibility, you can find available dates that meet you budget.

A/C unit automated so unable to turn off when pot smokers in poolside rooms below were in residence.

but the housekeeping of the corridors' baseboards and floors appeared a bit lackluster with some visible dust and debris buildup.

HOWEVER, this is NOT a non-smoking hotel as advertised! 🤬🤬🤬.

Non-smoking room was smoky and had very thin walls.

close enough to walk to strip.only downside was the extreme smoke from lobby & gaming room.

The hallways and carpet stink and the elevator is a disaster.

but carpets were thilthy, wall had mold on it, paint was all jacked up, hotel smelled of smoke,alarms were not on, But the beds were really comfortable.

Bad headaches and hot sweats not a  comfortable hotel.

After checking in you will walk down dark, smelly hallway on carpet that is extremely stained.

It smells like an ask tray filled with week old cigarettes.

Had stained rugs, smelled of urine and tobacco.

I've never been to such a disgusting and rude hotel, book anywhere else

So it’s to be expected to be not as opulent as other properties nearby and my room had bits of paper and smelled of wet animals .

There is a clear waterside going thru the aquarium even!

Love the way it’s laid out with easy access to the parking garage (we stayed in the Carson Tower, 17th floor) and Starbucks, Chick-fill-A, two other restaurants and the 4 star pool with a giant aquarium in the middle.

It features padded lounge chairs, a waterslide and a huge aquarium in the middle stocked with fish, sharks and stingrays.

I am so sad that we came here in January because I couldn't check out the pool slide with the shark aquarium.

The pool was amazing with the aquarium as part of the pool.

The other big draw is the water slide that goes straight through the aquarium with a glass tunnel – in reality you are going far too quickly to see anything, yet it’s still a cool and very fun experience.

The pool is beautiful with a waterfall, slide,huge aquarium with sharks you can swim next to and seating wall to wall for everyone to have a spot.

Love watching the aquarium while enjoying the pool.

I love the aquarium in the middle of the pool--it was fascinating to watch the fish and sharks up close and I could see that all the kids at the pool really enjoyed it.

Pool area very nice and the aquarium was cool too.

Other highlights include the Shark Tank aquarium next to the pool and the Golden Nugget exhibit; both worth seeing.

but the large aquarium by the pool was a nice touch.

They treat you so good there lv it there it is a 5 star place for sure they were always so happy to make your stay much nicer .i would recommend them 100% for sure  very pretty .We loved the fish aquarium and water slide was awesome.

I was told by a rude woman who answered the phone in housekeeping that I would NOT be getting 4 additional coffee pods in my suite that has a coffee maker that I stayed in for 4 nights. Really?

The hotel was quite good except there's no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, no fridge either.

The lack of a fridge meant that the only option for keeping drinks cold was the ice machine, which is a less than ideal solution for those who prefer the comfort and convenience of private amenities.

We did have issues with the coffee maker and slow draining sinks

but later found out that those rooms don’t have a coffee pot and that housekeeping is not available to guests in that tower.

Had a fridge and two tables and 2 chairs in our room.

How expensive is a coffee pot?they want you to go downstairs and stand in a huge line at Starbucks to get coffee as soon as you wake up, now that's enjoyable.

Warning, unless you upgrade, you will not receive refrigerator nor a microwave.

We didnt have access to a coffee maker or fridge in our room which did make food storage more of a challenge

It would be nice if the rooms all had microwaves.

We had to take the coffee machine to the bathroom in order to make a cup of coffee in the morning.

They make you text for items and after some back and forth, they called me and said it was $25 for 4 more cups.

It was made worse by many people willing to go the wrong way to get into a space to cut you off as you wait as a mug trying to parking safetly.

The cooling system isn’t the greatest (ran all night and blows from a conditioner on the floor instead of through ceiling vents) and there’s no coffee maker, fridge or microwave.

Golden Nugget is not a good value for the price; no coffee in the room, no click in the room, no shower cap, and no ear plugs (which are needed in order to sleep at night because of the thunderous music coming from Fremont Street.)

I ordered a Concierge service for a little extra cost

The rooms were dated , mouldy bathroom and not sure what we got for the resort fee as the wifi was terrible too.

Apparently in vegas- its citizens are paid so little- its citizens actually “demanded” a tip/gratuity and stated loudly they “lived off their tips/gratuity”.

but not to others paying the same price especially when advertising “wi-fi” ports?!

At that price we could have stayed somewhere where housekeeping is included.

Because I had arrived early, I paid 50 dollars for early check in so that I could place my bags in the room and also not have to wait in line again at the check in at 3 pm.

Taxi's very expensive that are outside the hotel.

In addition there was no wifi- something that I’m sure was supposed to be available due to the resort fee.

For as much as they charge, including the ridiculous resort fees, this should be automatic.

How can they even rent out this room especially with their exorbitant resort fees?

The ac didnt get fixed, wouldnt allow us to change our room and we paid for an upgrade pool room!?

My husband isn’t one to complain and figured we got what we paid for

However, the Casio was limiting for due the smoking conditions.

Our suite smelled of smoke so bad it woke us up at night. 2.

This casino now allows smoking all over, where Hard Rock had small smoking areas.

Room was disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned.

Casino was very smoky and cigarette smells.

Our only issue was a heavy marijuana smell outside our room and issue with many electrical outlets not working because they were loose.

The ceilings are low, which concentrates the smoke and its odor.

Get it together and spend some money on this ran down place, it's just filthy.

So, the smoke is really baked into the walls.

The line to check in was long, the first time we stepped in the elevator it smelled like marijuana.

The purses were practically empty with just a comb, fragrance oil, lipstick.

My only complaint is the pool area smelled like sewage for the 3 days we were there.

Otherwise, the crowd in the hotel is pretty trashy, loud and lots of smoking.

There was Mold around the caulking in the shower in our room 1012.

The bathrooms were nasty in both our suite and another room we had.

We had dinner at Primarily Prime Rib and it was very good for the price.

The gift shop was very nice with good prices.
