Felt safe and inside they have the aquarium, a sight to see.

My wife maintains several salt-water aquariums at home so she was mesmerized by the aquarium inside the Casino at the entrance to the Pro Bass Shop.

The best attraction was the aquarium with all the beatiful fishes.

Loved the aquarium and the mermaid, I could have watched that for hours.

The floor to ceiling aquarium at the entrance is mesmerizing for folks of all ages!

Nice walk through the attached outdoor store and the cool aquarium.

The Mermaid and fish aquarium is awesome!

Love the mermaid attraction and aquarium is so pleasant and peaceful.

She swam with an "official" mermaid in the huge aquarium located in front of the Bass Pro shops at Silverton.

If you have children, the HUGE aquarium with the mermaid that swims with the fish is FABULOUS!! !

Comfy beds, too many blankets, glasses in halls not removed daily, no refrigerator in room, good valet, good staff, friendly, good aquarium.

The aquarium and swimming mermaid wereally awesome.

My favorite was the large aquarium near bass pro shop!

The Silverton has a very large aquarium which at first seemed neat, some of the fish and sting rays looked rather unhealthy; one of the largest stingrays (See photo) appeared to have had its tail cut off.

Had visited Silverton on a previous trip to check out the property, see the awesome aquarium, and play in the casino.

For those who travel often, especially on the Las Vegas Strip know that mini fridges are far and few in between for personal use.

Four dollars for a cup of coffee is a bit much.

suggestion:  refrigerators and coffee machines in the rooms would be nice.

even though I couldn't connect my iPad to the tv and there was no fridge in the room.

There is also no fridge or microwave in case of dinner leftovers.

Liked the least, no coffee pot in the room.

Miss the refrigerator in the room, ice machines need filters or changed if they have one,: funky tasting ice.

If not that a small side table so as to put the coffee maker on, so you don't have to put coffee maker in the bathroom and take the space from your vanity mirror.

We have also enjoyed visiting Bass Pro shop and seeing the mermaid shows.

Best part was the variety of machine's to play.

WE SPENT MANY HOURS PLAYING VIDEO POKER AND KENO AT THE BARS.

I even did my Christmas shopping at Bass Pro for 2 years in a row.

but are connected to Bass ourtlet for all your fishing and hunting needs also the steak house is excellent .

We had great service in the casino while playing some of the games & also had great service at The Sundance Cafe.

The Bass Pro Shop was also huge, and a highlight.

Dylan is the most friendly bartender and he even provided my family with all the stuff needed to have fun playing pool and Bowlingo.

The Silverton is located a few miles south of the Strip and is where many locals play.

Lots of slots to pick from and also going to the Bass Pro Shop.

Would stay as many times as possible, my favorite place to play and gamble. Thanks.

I love the Buffett especially on Friday nights my husband loves it cause of the bass pro shop next door.

There are plenty of restaurants and Bass Pro Shop is right next door.

The Silverton is like a place no other,its very comfortable,plenty to do,and great food.They treat you like family there,which with the mermaid tank,and with Pro Bass Shop there,there is something for everyoneI will never stop going to the Silverton,they make you feel right at home

The staff is very friendly and they always have new machines to play.

Carpet in my twin queen room was filthy, casino had a funky odor, aside from the cigarette smoke.

Housekeeping doesn't vacuum the baseboards in the rooms or hallways. Filthy!!!

There was holes in the shower and the bath tub drain was clogged and hardly moving.

The casino doesn't smell like smoke either, most other casinos your clothes smell like smoke.

The room smelled and felt like a damp basement.

1st room smelled like moldy towels left in the room for days on end, second room smelled like something we cannot describe, the diner took for ever to get service and it wasn't that great for the price regrdless of getting a 50% off coupon for signing up for their card.

however my only gripe is that there is no non-smoking area and we have asthma and my eyes were burning.

We didn't sleep well with the smell of smoke and the smell of weed through out the hotel. .

The rooms and corridors stink like smoke and mildew.

The only room available was a smoking room.

Smells awful with a mixture of cigarettes, alcohol and whatever else folks are smoking or vaping.

Strong smell of weed in the halls and gust areas as well as wrong reservation type and also had poor quality food at the Buffet.

The toilet leaked and the room had an odd smell to it.

Towels are disgusting they are very worn out and almost grey color.

There is a clear waterside going thru the aquarium even!

Love the way it’s laid out with easy access to the parking garage (we stayed in the Carson Tower, 17th floor) and Starbucks, Chick-fill-A, two other restaurants and the 4 star pool with a giant aquarium in the middle.

It features padded lounge chairs, a waterslide and a huge aquarium in the middle stocked with fish, sharks and stingrays.

I am so sad that we came here in January because I couldn't check out the pool slide with the shark aquarium.

The pool was amazing with the aquarium as part of the pool.

The other big draw is the water slide that goes straight through the aquarium with a glass tunnel – in reality you are going far too quickly to see anything, yet it’s still a cool and very fun experience.

The pool is beautiful with a waterfall, slide,huge aquarium with sharks you can swim next to and seating wall to wall for everyone to have a spot.

Love watching the aquarium while enjoying the pool.

One adult up stairs and a aquarium pool on the ground floor with fish and a waterslide.

I love the aquarium in the middle of the pool--it was fascinating to watch the fish and sharks up close and I could see that all the kids at the pool really enjoyed it.

Pool area very nice and the aquarium was cool too.

Other highlights include the Shark Tank aquarium next to the pool and the Golden Nugget exhibit; both worth seeing.

but the large aquarium by the pool was a nice touch.

They treat you so good there lv it there it is a 5 star place for sure they were always so happy to make your stay much nicer .i would recommend them 100% for sure  very pretty .We loved the fish aquarium and water slide was awesome.

I was told by a rude woman who answered the phone in housekeeping that I would NOT be getting 4 additional coffee pods in my suite that has a coffee maker that I stayed in for 4 nights. Really?

The hotel was quite good except there's no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, no fridge either.

The lack of a fridge meant that the only option for keeping drinks cold was the ice machine, which is a less than ideal solution for those who prefer the comfort and convenience of private amenities.

We did have issues with the coffee maker and slow draining sinks

but later found out that those rooms don’t have a coffee pot and that housekeeping is not available to guests in that tower.

Had a fridge and two tables and 2 chairs in our room.

How expensive is a coffee pot?they want you to go downstairs and stand in a huge line at Starbucks to get coffee as soon as you wake up, now that's enjoyable.

Warning, unless you upgrade, you will not receive refrigerator nor a microwave.

We didnt have access to a coffee maker or fridge in our room which did make food storage more of a challenge

It would be nice if the rooms all had microwaves.

We had to take the coffee machine to the bathroom in order to make a cup of coffee in the morning.

They make you text for items and after some back and forth, they called me and said it was $25 for 4 more cups.

It was made worse by many people willing to go the wrong way to get into a space to cut you off as you wait as a mug trying to parking safetly.

The cooling system isn’t the greatest (ran all night and blows from a conditioner on the floor instead of through ceiling vents) and there’s no coffee maker, fridge or microwave.

No fridge or coffee maker in Carson Tower,  appears to be an option only in Gold and Rush Towers.

You can even find lower limit tables to play, which can be rare in Vegas these days.

Seems like other rooms were having parties

They had concerts at 3 different places playing 3 different types of music.

we have stayed at all the towers, and we like the Carson tower only because it's set back and is quieter, you can't sleep in the Rush tower on the weekends with the bands playing and they play way after midnight.

The same one come in everyday and you can play a game to quests how long it will take to throw them out.

The end, the golden nugget destroyed it for everybody else on Fremont St.  for me to stay there or my wife will still go back and walk Fremont St listen to the music drink play some machines and hit the tables and then we’ll go back up town where it’s nice.

My daughters birthday party was hosted here.

Walking right out onto Fremont Street experience is great for a one night stay - live bands, street performers  and a couple of family members did the zip line.

I much prefer the liveliness of Fremont, the live bands, and the amazing roof.

Would highly recommend staying at this location you are gonna be partying on Fremont.

We were able to walk out and enjoy the views of Fremont street watch band groups perform steps away.

I don’t even have an account with Kayak and wouldn’t book with a third party  as I always book direct.

We were playing blackjack and our first night was fun and we had great dealers and waitresses.

We always stay at this location we love being able to Join the party on Fremont st by just walking out of the hotel and coming back to take a break when needed.

Much better slot playing than on the strip.

A word of advice-if you are assigned a room in the RUSH tower, facing Fremont Street, you can expect late night and early morning  music with the body-vibrating bass.

Golden Nugget is not a good value for the price; no coffee in the room, no click in the room, no shower cap, and no ear plugs (which are needed in order to sleep at night because of the thunderous music coming from Fremont Street.)

I ordered a Concierge service for a little extra cost

The rooms were dated , mouldy bathroom and not sure what we got for the resort fee as the wifi was terrible too.

Apparently in vegas- its citizens are paid so little- its citizens actually “demanded” a tip/gratuity and stated loudly they “lived off their tips/gratuity”.

but not to others paying the same price especially when advertising “wi-fi” ports?!

At that price we could have stayed somewhere where housekeeping is included.

Because I had arrived early, I paid 50 dollars for early check in so that I could place my bags in the room and also not have to wait in line again at the check in at 3 pm.

Taxi's very expensive that are outside the hotel.

In addition there was no wifi- something that I’m sure was supposed to be available due to the resort fee.

For as much as they charge, including the ridiculous resort fees, this should be automatic.

How can they even rent out this room especially with their exorbitant resort fees?

The ac didnt get fixed, wouldnt allow us to change our room and we paid for an upgrade pool room!?

My husband isn’t one to complain and figured we got what we paid for

However, the Casio was limiting for due the smoking conditions.

Our suite smelled of smoke so bad it woke us up at night. 2.

This casino now allows smoking all over, where Hard Rock had small smoking areas.

Room was disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned.

Casino was very smoky and cigarette smells.

Our only issue was a heavy marijuana smell outside our room and issue with many electrical outlets not working because they were loose.

The ceilings are low, which concentrates the smoke and its odor.

Get it together and spend some money on this ran down place, it's just filthy.

So, the smoke is really baked into the walls.

The line to check in was long, the first time we stepped in the elevator it smelled like marijuana.

The purses were practically empty with just a comb, fragrance oil, lipstick.

My only complaint is the pool area smelled like sewage for the 3 days we were there.

Otherwise, the crowd in the hotel is pretty trashy, loud and lots of smoking.

There was Mold around the caulking in the shower in our room 1012.

The bathrooms were nasty in both our suite and another room we had.

There was little in the way of kid friendly activity available, except for the aquarium to which you must purchase entry.

Our cousin got married in the aquarium and it was beautiful and so cool!

Amazing stay in the Mandalay Bay, more than a hotel, an great resort to spend a great time in Vegas between the water park, the restaurants, aquarium, shows, mall and casino.

Ones I stayed at Mandalay Bay it is the only hotel I saty at because it has it all from intertainment ,restaurants, aquarium, beautiful clean rooms, dance floor at the bar and much more.

Restaurants, pools, shopping, shows, aquarium, chapel and of course, many casino choices for all types.

The aquarium was a nice little break from walking down the strip.

There are plenty of choices for restaurants and the Michael Jackson show "One" is out of this world and the Aquarium is great.

They had a Shark Reef and an aquarium that was amazing.

The lazy river and the aquarium were favorite activities on the property.

Having an aquarium inside the building is a huge plus for the kids.

Hotels claims they have no upgrades available so they don’t have to honor their deal with Amex, yet upgrades are actually available when booking through their online site.

Considering the amount they charge for the rooms, you shouldn’t expect these types of problems.

Don’t look in fridge you’ll be charged for touching.

Front desk refused to reverse the charges.

but no complimentary water or access to the refrigerator which was in the room because it was full and if we touch anything it will charged to us.

I've never been to a resort that states you can only buy items in the refrigerator and if you store your personal goods you will be charged.

Don't even give free coffee/tea in the rooms anymore & couldn't use the fidge or you'd get charged $50.

The main feature, the beach, was closed and under noisy/messy construction (sand blasting), yet the resort fee was fully charged.

I was promised by multiple managers that we would receive $300 off of the first nightly rate, removal of resort fees and a $100 dining credit.

They then said that they would credit is $200 per night for our trouble.

however, that charge was subsequently reversed.

You might get extra charged if you accidentally touch any of those overly priced items.

Rather than cater to customers already paying hundreds of dollars per night for them term, Mandalay Bay would like to charge you another $25 per visit to a separate gym!

You better off charging more somewhere else because mandalay bay is alot of price

After walking in and quickly walking out, making the LONG walk back to the lobby I was assigned another room and a "$50" credit that never showed up.

You have to use a key card to get to your floor

Gamble maybe 3000 each stay have the credit card still haven’t reached gold.

$27 bottles of water in room, $50 charge if you use the fridge.

After being warned not to touch the contents in the fridge or mini bar as the sensors would charge us with any movement, we started to feel this hotel is absurd and for what came to a $500 a night stay.

The Cowboy Christmas moved and was no longer at the Mandalay Bay and the watch party at the Sports book was suboptimal.

Extended my Vegas trip by one night and since I was playing poker at Mandalay I chose to see about getting a room there for the night.

but haven't been around in awhile, although I have been playing at other hotels associated with Caesar's Palace and Penn Play etc.

The bar in the casino had a great rock band too!

from the dining at House of Blues, Rhythm & Riffs was relaxing then the Band came on & lit it up with great music.

but I do expect to have fun and be able to get a reasonable playing time vs coin-in.

The food, cleanliness, overall staff friendliness, assortment of games to play, entertainment and room quality were exceptional.

Tightest slots I’ve ever played , maybe the loss revenue from the breach is to blame.

We enjoyed our stay at Mandalay Bay while attending a get together with friends and party.

There were other cover bands that played throughout the weekend as well that provided a great atmosphere.

My son and daughter were playing with sand.

Kumi's sea bass at $50 was so fishy I couldn't eat more than 1 bite.

I read many reviews of bad casino experiences (dirty, loud rooms) so I was pleasantly surprised that our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable.
