This hotel has a central heating system that cannot be effectively controlled from inside the guest room.

Known problems with the thermostat caused the AC unit to constantly switch off of A/C and to heat.

Room was dirty (stained sheets,dead bugs behind fridge) and ac was non working and felt stuffy.Low shower head pressure.

Our air conditioning in the room did not work at all, it got up to 76 even with the window open on a chilly spring evening.

We also wished that there were instructions to control the thermostat.

I didn't turn on the air conditioning as it was cold.

The staff blamed it on an old central heating and cooling system.

They claimed they do not run the AC in the winter.

No room AC, had to sleep with window open, which was loud.

There is no AC in the rooms our room was 80.

The Subway in back will save you time waiting in line though. CONS: They an emergency A/C repair scheduled for the 2nd night I would be there--notice was that there'd be no A/C (summer in Vegas!)

Not a fan of the nickel and diming of resort fees.

We contacted the desk at first they sent someone up and determined it was broke then we was informed it was not in fact broke that the system will not run AC if the heat is on in the whole building.

the only issue we had was with the AC not working 100%

We couldn’t control the thermostat in our room, so we couldn’t get the room temperature to our liking.

The AC unit also is a joke as it didn’t work.

They got the fan to turn on in neutral/fan only.

We picked the Casino Royale since it was located in a great location and they don't charge for parking and resort fees.

Just back from our 1st vacation in Las Vegas and had a great time at Casino Royale.

The Casino Royale is in the middle of the action.

Casino Royale is a great place to stay and play in the middle of the strip.

Best Western Plus Casino Royale was our choice and we weren't disappointed.

Casino Royale is in the perfect location on the strip. It's so easy to park the car (for free!)

BWP Casino Royale Center Strips Had a very good location that come with free parking.

Best Western Plus Casino Royale -  Center Strip was a wonderful surprise to my husband and I.

The Casino Royale was always a nice place to stay and offered good price rooms and the gambling was good.

We had enjoyed our prior stay at BW Casino Royale and it remains a good place to lay your head.

Responsive noise from the corridor penetrates the room, a lot of running in the corridor which made it difficult to get undisturbed sleep.

even though we declined housekeeping (in which case are supposed to call whenever you need anything), rooms were quiet, heard nothing from adjacent rooms or hallway that earplugs couldn't handle.

It was a long hallway to my room so ask for a lower number room if walking is difficult.

The hallways smelled disgusting every time we walked down it, like rotten garbage.

One morning, when I opened the bedroom door, there was a strange drunk in the hallway, and two policemen.

~Had to run the air/heat system to block out occasional hallway noise of people talking/closing doors.

They gave me a room near the mid hallway elevator.

Only after the complaints were made,they offered a room at the end of the hall.

Every 60-90 minutes throughout the ENTIRE night there was VERY loud arguing, fighting, cursing, sexually explicit conversations, elicit drug use, and constant slamming of doors in the hallway immediately outside of our room.

My complaint with this hotel lies with how early housekeeping starts cleaning the hall and rooms and VERY loudly.

Room soundproof was rather poor, overheard banging of doors, footsteps and even guests chatting along the corridor.

but I could not find it using the hallway signs (not sure where it was but I gave up looking).

"Mature" talking loudly in the corridor or letting their doors slam shut during the night and in the morning.

The entire place including corridors & hotel rooms smell very, very bad.

Reception in the middle of the gaming hall which is pretty noisy.

Housekeeping staff (though very good at their job) were very noisy early each morning in the corridor, they woke me more than once during our stay,

The lobby is located inside the casino long way between the slot machines from the parking lot

Located near The Mirage and The Venetian, it's a great location from which to base.

Hotel is in perfect location on the strip.

We booked this hotel because of there being no resort fees and it’s great location on the strip.

The Outback Steakhouse was to die for food and service were superb, so much so, I went back a second time,The location of this hotel is unbeatable with everything you need within walking distance, Dennys.

The hotel was very responsive to my questions and requests and we got exactly the room type and location we asked for.

Free parking, no resort fees, best location on strip, fridges in rooms, clean, nice pool.

The location for this price is incredible, it's at least half the price of the other surrounding hotels, if not more.

Notwithstanding all of that, reasonably priced and excellent location.

Pizza Hut, Outback, Subway, and $2.99 Footlong Hotdogs are located there too.

It's located close to restaurants and pharmacies, you can also find cheap eats in the casino.

A great location right in the middle of the Las Vegas strip.

Rooms on 100-level, which is slightly below ground level, have a damp musty basement odor.

I had to go all the way through Harrah’s unless I walked through the BW parking garage and on a stinky service street which only took a few minutes.

The odor of mold and urine was pretty intense - and together with the guy smoking up outside our window had me asking for a different room on a different floor.

We bathed in dirty water backed up from the drain for 3 days.

Room was disgusting, we got "forgot" about by housekeeping and the free night travel voucher was not honored after it had been accepted when the reservation was made.

The carpet is smelly and the sheets they must definitely be thrown away and get new ones.

Unfortunately cannot recommend Casino Royale due to bathroom uncleanliness and terrible water odor in the restroom.

The area of the hotel is not sealed off as non smoking.

Lobby rest rooms floor was nasty and unsensitized

Ended up booking Treasure Island which was 100% better the the urine smelling Casino Royale, will never attempt to stay there again or use Best Western.

In addition, there were a couple of very shady characters attempting to gain access to the pool area, and one of them got pretty nasty when my wife wouldn't let him in.

Bedding was filthy, duvet had blood on it.

The $100 free play at Casino Royale is on a bank of fake slot machines.

Feeling happy, we went to a show then headed to the Casino Royale to gamble.

The $400 gambling money was only good at the Casino Royale and only good on their "promotional" slot machines with no possibility of winning any actual money.

There was also a note in the room to be prepared for construction noise from 9am to 6pm,

The warning sound of a construction truck backing up was heard all night long.

I did phone and speak to Carol who so kindly said nothing we can do, the construction is at the Cosmo.

The place is dated, because of the construction we ended up with view of a wall.

.their was obviously a construction and it was tough to find the parking possibilities and if it took any longer I would've carried that car there without driving 20 minutes through that garage. .

Right now they are having construction done, which made walking in and out not so great,

The pool was not really usable - there was netting over head- I suppose to protect from nearby construction- and had very little sun.

One issue is that there is a lot of construction going on literally outside the front entrance, so you have to navigate the construction zone if you are heading for Vegas Blvd.

True, during the construction 6 years ago it was loud and inconvenient.

We hadn't been for a long time due to the construction and renovations.

The main door isn't obvious especially with the construction going on,

I would not suggest that anybody try to sleep during the day because there was some sort of construction noise that was extremely loud even on the 5th floor.

Be prepared for lots of heavy truck, bus and construction traffic on the side facing the Bellagio.

The rooms are very clean, location is fantastic, and staff are friendly.

Great location, clean, nice staff and connected to the Cosmopolitan casino.

It’s solid, friendly, has personality and location is brilliant.

Uber/lyft will only stop at designated locations in Vegas..

But maybe the best asset of the hotel is its location between Bellagio en Cosmopolitan.

The hotel's central location  is absolutely fantastic and could not have been better.

Cannot fault anything or anyone; perfect location and excellent price for a Vegas trip.

We come to Vegas almost every year and stay most of the time at the Jockey Club because of the excellent service we always get, and of course, your nice location on the strip, and convenient parking.

This place was great for location, location LOCATION!

but I really like the location and it worked well for us.

When the opportunity arose to travel to Vegas again we of course choose to stay here again as it has an excellent location on the strip, it offers large suites and zero resort fees (which are getting so out of control expensive at all other hotels that you can almost stay a week longer here just with saving resort fees.

So, maybe they can use their "Resort Fees" towards reducing prices around the pool area. Like Casino Royale have no resort fees etc and have the cheapest beer prices on The Strip :)

My only complaint like others is a lack of housekeeping, we got a knock late one afternoon to which the chap cleaned the bathroom & new towels, my husband was asleep so no bed change.

Wasn’t told at check in we had to ask to have the room cleaned and we were staying for a week, Monday-Monday.

but cleaning for me is scrubbing with bleach and sadly I didn’t carry any with me, so now I feel like this is ridiculous and a waste of money.

although we had to follow up to make sure that our rooms were cleaned daily.

We asked for cleaning services, they never came.

Housekeeping didn’t clean our room so we didn’t get clean towels, beds not made, trash not emptied and our used towels, etc.

To our surprise, we were required to make our own beds and tidy up our rooms.

What more could a man need 

The location was fantastic and the eating options with the miracle mile shops and restaurants was first class 

House keeping cleaned the room when I wanted them in so no issues there 

The only reason I only gave 4 stars was because of the smoking smell in the casino and sometimes the corridor of the hotel 
I think its an issue for most casino's and hotels

Room was very dirty, bath had not been cleaned and was full of hairs, and room clearly had not been hovered , needed a deep clean, during our stay only cleaned on our 5rh and last day.

During this time our room was not cleaned.

but wouldn't go in themselves but I was assured "all luggage left is handed to lost property by the cleaners".

Day 2 no housekeeping and we had to mive because the ceiling devris feel on our head.

For 3 days the phone line up front desk and housekeeping was busy.

First, I went to use the bathroom and there was urine in the toilet either from the previous guest or the maid.

Housekeeping only showed up once and never showed up for a week later (keep in mind we don’t even have a DND door tag in the room) we had to manually call up housekeeping to get the bath towels.

Had to call housekeeping every other days for towels.

Overall it is a very good hotel and the location is right in the middle of the Strip where all the good stuff is.

PH is the best value on the strip and location is fantastic.

Stayed 4 night at Planet Hollywood in early November, some good points and a couple of not so good ones:

Great Position in the middle of the strip, also having Miracle Mile shopping centre handy is great.

but the hotel is in such a great location and was great value when we booked it.

The rooms were a very good size, beds were very comfortable, and the location excellent.

Outside of the room, location is great and hotel is easy to get around.

Location is good and we paid for the upgrade for the views which were good.

Especially if you buy food and alcholic beverages which are alredy extremely pricey.

Got charged over $200 for resort fee, after a piece of crap stay.

When we arrived back later that day we had still only been given 3 towels, to add insult to injury an expensive bottle of perfume had been stolen.

The explanation for this was a "resort fee" that was beyond anyone on the planet's control.

Valet parking was pricey and maybe not very efficient.

For all the marketing hype and the cost we were quite disappointed.

Be sure to ask if that fee is daily or for your entire stay.

but it was very annoying to be charged a "resort fee" when I didn't use any resort services.

The total cost of this Resort Fee for two rooms for a five-night stay amounted to Staggering £443.70.

but I would avoid staying here at all costs

but I was super bothered my card was taken for “incidentals” of which I had none, but then had a $52 charge for resort fees.

Truthfully, I could have paid £200 more to stay Caesars.

You need to pay if you want a bed by the pool,

We were disappointed we didn't get the room we paid for from the start and had to mess about switching rooms on the 2nd day where we did get the room we'd paid for.

Drinks expensive two cocktails cost 67 dollars.

Having mistakenly left a pair of expensive jeans and belt in the hotel room when I checked out I realised in the mid afternoon.

However, I thought that they were a little expensive.

Feel like this isn't really acceptable if paying $300-$400 per night plus $60 resort fee and also isn't true because it didn't work at the conference either.

Each room has a jacuzzi tub and standing shower with separate room for toilet.

Firstly we arrived quite late, our choice of a KS bed was unavailable the first thing the young lady did was go check, come back offer us a room with 2 queens for the night with a promise to move us between 12 & 2pm the next day.

We arrived late and the only king room available was next to the elevator which is noisy.

Not so good:

During out 4 night stay our room was only serviced once, this was disappointing.

During check-in, they upgraded us to a room that had no wifi connection and broken a/c.

Although room was dusty and beds not made properly, so not overly sure what they did.

This room should not be available without some kind of notice and discount.

Room was poor quality with metal tables and pictures stuck onto other pictures to cover up damage by previous guests.

The room was like a nightclub with the strobe flashing throughout.

* Room was never serviced by housekeeping.

but very slow and you cannot request your car from your room, you have to leave your room and request it in person

We didn’t read that each room only provides wifi for the number of people in the room, so 2 people/wifi for 2 devices.

but just let say that other than the coffee, you are probably better off with a regular room.

one would expect the room to have complementary coffee, a microwave, a frig that is working and on, TV with more then 4 watchable channels, and heater that works.

The sink was stuffed up, the toilet kept running unless you jiggled the lever, and the hotel staff was nowhere to be found.

but they are completely disinterested, we found this hotel and the staff to be the worst that we have ever experienced.

Thursday, called down to ask for the room to be cleaned, was quizzed on whether I had the do not disturb sign on, which we didn’t….nothing was done and on Saturday went down to reception and they logged it.

Speaking to the manager he was not at all apologetic saying things happen.

The staff oozes indifference and seem like a miserable lot as a whole.

Lack of staff at checkin and when we left the checkout machine was being fixed.

Pillows weren't great and staff on front desk seemed uninterested.

He shrugged his shoulders and did nothing.

Staff was very unprofessional, unfriendly, and was very unresponsive to say the least.

I tried to change rooms the front desk clerk hung up on me and on the 2nd call she told me that there were no rooms available, I spoke with the supervisor, and she changed the room

but I couldn’t get a replacement from staff because they were too busy.

Other than that, ALL other interactions at PH have been great, sadly one bad interaction can spoil the whole experience and of course it happens on the last day!!! !
