Some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever met, and have amazing music everytime we check-in.

Checking in was fine, they will ask you to pay the room tax and deposit upfront and you must use a bank card with your name on it and signed on the back.

Checking in early and checking out late fees are way cheaper then expected which helps a lot when you can’t check in till 3pm and check out is 11am everywhere

Upon arrival we’re greeted with 2 amassing lady the front desk and her front desk supervisor “ KRESHENDO LACOUR”.

I was greeted by beautiful smile of Brandy who checked us in and the rest is history!!!!

though we actually left the room cleaner than when we arrived and had paid "in full" prior to arriving.

The wait for rooms at check-in was an hour or more.

The area was convenient as we were right next to a lot of activities on Fremont St , We arrived late night & staff was great !!

The rooms were very clean when we arrived and we were reached out to many times if any assistance was needed.

There was no hassle checking in and our room is really nice as well.

but once you check in and get to your room it’s very clean and cozy!

I’ve had such a nice experience here at the Oasis @ Gold spike - excellent hotel staff service - with one amazing Staff member named Jeme G, that always checked up on me and my requests!

Checking in went by smoothly with the help of Jeme.

I have a client in Las Vegas for business who checked in to this hotel today and immediately checked out.

As a bonus, we arrived to toiletries in a llama themed package which made the stay perfect as my husband & our friend traveling with us a long running joke with llama gag gifts that started here in Vegas.

Was checked in by casiana, she was so friendly and sweet!

I called before arrival and she gave me the parking info I needed and got me oriented upon arrival.

This place  is amazing every time I come they take care of me with the best customer service in downtown vegas area.

His customer service was excellent … he got us checked in our room in no time Thanks again CJ Also Room was clean no complaints we enjoyed our 2 day stay ! !

The Oasis at Gold Spike is literally one of the most horrible hotel experiences I have ever had.

Oasis at Gold Spike was where me and my partner took our first trip to Vegas.

We've stayed at the Oasis at Gold Spike multiple times.

Very accommodating staff and nice rooms overlooking a clean nice sized pool, not to mention my backyard is the Gold Spike hangout and game area which I thought was cool.

The Oasis at the Gold Spike is always a great place to stay.

I booked a room for four days with Oasis at Gold Spike.

Super convenient location, right of Fremont street and easy access.

Location was great and the club is also very fun.

Perfect location if you just wanna go out get drunk and gamble, Not so good if you are there for anything else.

The hotel is in a great location and there are a bunch of restaurants within walking distance.

Having access to the pool was so convenient and the close location to Fremont Street is unbeatable.

First & foremost, the location in downtown has numerous nightclubs & bars, including the floor level nightclub at the Oasis itself.

Took my sister to Vegas for her birthday, oasis at golden spike is perfectly located near all the sights at the Freemont neighborhood.

I could tell you the price is great and the location is awesome

Also as you are above a nightclub you will hear loud music and lots of people talking all hours of the night.

You have to walk through the nightclub dance floor & pool tables to get to the elevators in the tower, security holds you back until the floor is somewhat clear then waves you through.

The room smells like cigarettes, there are so much noise coming from the bar and parties outside.

This hotel is on top of a nightclub and is VERY loud.

The hotel was clean & fun, a little loud if your room faces the backyard & it's kinda silly that the bouncers won't let you leave the elevator without an escort,

They also fail to tell you that you have to walk through the loud club to get to your room at the end of every night instead of using the hotel entrance that you are paying for!

Then the real fun began around 10pm, the neighbors next door effectively used their room as a disco, non stop loud music, people coming in and out, yelling belligerent people wandering the hall.

She warned us that it might be loud due to the club,

Club was not too loud, I slept really well.

There was no party the night it went leaving us to make our own

but prospective guests should know that on weekend nights the nightclub downstairs is so loud that the bed literally shakes.

In reality it’s because they’ve built a place for people to party, get absolutely blitzed and they know drunk people don’t remember anything, much less complain about what they don’t remember.

I like how when  you enter  the nightclub to get up to your room at night it feels like you're a celebrity lol.

The windows are not sound proof therefore, you hear the loud music playing at the Gold Spike at night.

And there was a nightclub on the first floor that kept most of us up until 3am.

Also, this property has an Outdoor Nightclub on site which the people on the other side of this hotel had the pleasure of hearing till 2am.

One issue I had was the loud music (from Oasis) that played well past midnight in this back 'play area'.

"We are trying to prevent a house party", is what I was told.

but give you vague dimsissive responses until you give up, im sure theyll reply to this with an automated answer asking me to contact them but not do a damn thing when i call but blame me, the construction, their lunch break, literally anything but them not doing their part to ensure their guests are treated fairly.

but I was so tired to come down and complain, since the front desk is so far away and they don’t have a phone to call.

Our room was pretty dirty and because none of the rooms have phones to call the front desk you have to walk all the way back there.

Had to call the bar to call someone at the front desk to come back 30 min later.

This was when I discovered there was no phone in the room.

There is no communication on the rooms to call the reception and tv was not working.

After the pool, I went outside in what they call the backyard to smoke a cigarette.

Like we mentioned before, the room has no Phone,

Zero amenities, no coffeemaker in room, no phone, no outlets for even their own lamps, cracked tv, bathtub didnt drain, I could go on.

I had to call hoteltonight to refund my room and switch me to a different property.

The very loud bumping club music started about 8 pm and went till about 5:30 am, when we called from our cell phones to reach the front desk we were informed “We are a night club on weekends, not a hotel!” Claimed it’s advertised as such on their site which it is not, it is described as a “Boutique Hotel” .

We arrived at the hotel at 5:45 am (after calling 2 days before to confirm check in).

Between the backed up sink, mini ironing board, level of noise from the club and no way to contact the front desk without walking down, (called with phone multiple times) I will not be staying here again.

After booking reservation for oasis we’re booking.com I had a problem with  not telling me about resort fees said that it was all included was on the phone two hours would’ve tried to cancel the room reservation and I got help from Jeme  Supervisor and Front desk Clerk casiana.

I used my cell phone to call the front desk to request maintenance to come and fix the problems.

Conveniently there is no phones in the rooms , so contact with management can only be done by walking to the other building.

but the pool looked fine, wasn't overcrowded and looked clean.

I recommend to stay in the new rooms by the pool, the rooms in the casino are not remodeled yet.

With the pool and the bar/plus the staff I’d say it’s worth it.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool area was well maintained.

The night life and pool at this hotel is awesome

They have a great pool and a gym to burn off the Vegas life choices.

There are two parts of this hotel: rooms by the pool and rooms in the tower.

The hotel is on top of a really popular bar with pool tables and games and a dj that was playing all the hits.

They have pool tables,  corn hole, giant jenga  and four square

Nightclub and bar open downstairs pool and gym are great too.

Also the parking was free which was a good benefit and great pool.

I have stayed here many times in both the towers and the oasis poolside rooms and poolside is the way to go!

Our poolside room was repulsive (I have pics).

When choosing a place to stay, I picked the Oasis because the Poolside King Suite was a really good price and for the aesthetic.

I prefer the poolside rooms especially in the summertime as their pool is very nice.

She even upgraded me to the poolside because it was my birthday.

I stayed on the poolside and it has a direct view.

Jene was amazing she took good care of us.flighr leaving late she extended my checkout time I really enjoyed myself poolside was excellent clean pool just a loving caring environment and loving staff members I will definitely be back actually everytime i come to Vegas this will be my hotel of choice.Im overly Happy and overjoyed cant wait to come back next month im booking my reservation on today.Thank you Jene!!

I'm glad we stayed Poolside because it seems like rooms in the Gold Spike Tower would be a lot louder being attached to the club.

But if your a light sleeper request the poolside because this hotel can party!

Our stay was amazing we love the room very modern and the staff was amazing access to the bar was so dope aces to freemont we didn’t have to go far for fun we had the poolside room where we can chill by the pool relax drink

Downtown is the best town,nice view to garden,good drinks at bar , close to freeway, nice poolside, one of the best pool sides,, very clean ..very clean work and organized ..

Upon arrival there was a mixup with my room, I paid for a poolside queen

If you not a night owl, I'll recommend you book a room on the poolside.

The noise level is high, the hotel provides bedside earplugs which is never a good sign.

You will be close to the action,  it can get a bit loud.

The rooms in the tower sit above the casino/nightclub and that can loud at night.

Parking lot has a lot of homeless traffic, so make sure to lock doors and leave nothing in your car.

People were packed into a tiny a lobby with no air movement for an hour +.

Then the noise from the club no wonder they give you ear plugs.

Our air conditioner did make unusually loud sounds, so we think that helped.

but its car noise that we heard the most.

Front desk staff is really friendly and helpful and yes, it does get a bit loud by the pool

Oh, and one more thing, don't believe the price--this is the Jet Blue of hotels.

The bathroom had mold, the heater was extremely noisy, homeless looking guest right outside her pool view room door smoking marihuana, with the smell wafting into her room and people hanging around out the front door of the hotel who look like gang members.

The air conditioning sounds like there's a monster coming out of the vent.

Just far enough from Fremont to avoid the insane noise while still 100% feeling like a fun hotel.

The room was clean, to much extra decor, it was noisy a lot of people walking passed and making noises all night housekeeping never came to clean my room and I stayed there for 2 days never got the $100 deposit back either

It is a bit noisy, so be prepared for sleepless nights (it's Vegas).

but unfortunately it did smell like stale smoke/weed (I don't blame the hotel for this as it is hard to police this) but it can be an issue to people when a sensitive nose.

The second room was just as dusty, stinky, furniture missing and in poor condition, and no toilet paper in the room.

Despite a no-smoking rule the whole 3rd floor smelled of cigarettes & pot,

I got stock and super late in Vegas because of an airline issues and I was exhausted, the room was smelling terrible.

But the tiny bathroom that floods every time the shower is turned on houses cockroaches, the base of the shower is cracked, the grout is and aged and really dirty, and there is a tile missing on the wall that leaves a lovely mould filled hole to add to the decor.

The night stands had peeling paint and cigarette burns along with dried food in it.

(Despite it being advertised as non smoking).

The smells alternated between a very strong chemical smell in the morning to a musty, wet smell in evening.

The room had plastic over the smoke detector and smelled like smoke,

The shower smelled like mildew and had visible mold.

Rooms were disgusting and pics are so deceiving.

Another guest was in the verge of tears her room was above the club and said it was nasty. 🤷‍♀️

We had read reviews and knew smells were noted.

You have to watch where you walk, or you may find yourself walking in urine or broken glass.

As my friend said, the place smelled like old cigarette smoke and disappointment.

Brandy was very accommodating throughout my 4 days here.

but it is a pretty rundown 7/11 with not alot of selection, also once again you may get approached by the locals asking for money.

I reserved two queen beds and when I got here they gave me a single queen bed, the remote doesn’t work and the front desk person acted as if I was a bother to her.

I took some photos and messages the front desk, the engineer came up right away and did what he could.

Very easy to check in and communicate with the front desk.

The staff (shoutout to Brandy) were super helpful and accommodating of our requests.

The staff did accommodate us and the manger was kind.

The staff service was helpful and accommodating.

The staff are amazing,  Kreshendo Lacour especially!

The rooms are always clean and spacious as well … and the staff here and KRESHENDO LACOUR IS AMAZING AS WELL

The staff were wonderful, very attentive.

They staff is incredibly professional and they go above and beyond to make your stay better.

Office lady joy made us feel warm and welcomed!

I love that they communicate with you before hand via text with a welcome text and you can reach out via text or call and they respond right away.
