The location is perfect, set in the middle of downtown with a ton of brewery and food options within walking distance.

The Aloft in Asheville was perfected located around all the fun things to do in downtown, plus only 2.1 miles to the Biltmore.

The property is perfectly located in the heart of downtown with a ton of restaurants and breweries well within walking distance.

I chose to stay put because I only booked one night, my car was parked in the indoor garage and the downtown location was perfect.

This hotel is the perfect location to explore downtown.

Downtown stores, breweries, and restaurants all walkable.

Location is a bit south of the main action downtown, has convenient parking.

That, plus the great downtown location,  is the reason we did not rate this hotel lower.

Fun, modern,  and so convenient to downtown activities.

Quick walk to the sights of Asheville (at least the downtown ones).

but you can walk anywhere in downtown Asheville with ease.

The hotel is a great location and walkable to everywhere downtown.

Centrally location makes this a great “home base” to see everything in downtown.

The location was perfect with access to all of down town Asheville.

First let me say that the hotel is in a very convenient downtown location and was very clean.

This hotel is a nice option for staying in downtown Asheville.

I responded by recalling that at other locations in my past stays, pets were allowed,

Bed was comfortable, location good, staff was friendly and pool looked nice

Location cannot be beat - walkable to so many things Asheville has to offer.

Being located further from the elevator than non-accessible rooms seems counter intuitive.

We really enjoyed the location of this funky, clean friendly hotel.

the location of this hotel is great and bad.

(I know it is a supply and demand issue and all the hotels in the area are high priced on the weekend)

Overall I would definitely stay here again since it was a nice hotel in a great location,

Spacious room in a trendy vibe hotel that is well located close to many breweries etc.

but for a patio crawl party which the Aloft again collected money for.

The rooftop patio is a great spot to get a drink from the bar and watch all the downtown hustle and bustle.

I was lucky enough to snag one of the Poolside Patio Rooms in time for two unseasonably warm days Asheville in Feb 2021.

Dog friendly with amazingly friendly staff, great night life area on the 2nd floor complete with games and a pool table for kids, Fire pit on the patio by the pool was beautiful.

And the outdoor space is lovely - when the weather is good the patio is a super place to relax (and yes you can bring the rescue pup out there too).

Enjoyed sitting at the outdoor patio and watching everyone leaving a show at The Orange Peel, which is just steps away.

If you come in the spring/summer the patio is a really nice area to hang out!

Check in is on 2nd floor of hotel and this is also where the bar, an outdoor bar patio and the morning breakfast area located.

We did enjoy a drink out on the patio one night.

Check in and bar was quick and friendly, nice outside patio to have drinks and appetizers.

Jasmine and Leslie at the bar were very attentive and friendly and took time to talk with us as we relaxed on the patio which overlooks Biltmore Street - a very relaxing and cool hangout!!

After the concert my wife and I shared a bottle of wine by the fire on the outdoor patio.

They even turned on the fireplace outside for us on a late night where we wanted to have a glass of wine on the patio.

Non-smokers do not need to worry as most of this very large patio is non-smoking.

Still, it was nice to just roll downstairs with our dog and sit out on the super cute patio.

Thursday night, we took advantage of the WXYZ bar, and enjoyed listening to the live music playing in the bar area, while we lounged on one of the couches on the patio.

Our family wouldn't be complete without our furry little friend with us so the fact that they allow pets is a huge plus, the best part of it all being, pets stay free!

Plus the Aloft allows pets for those traveling with their furry friends.

We have no problem with pet friendly hotels,

When I inquired about the state of the rooms and the pet policy I was informed that the entire hotel was ‘pet friendly’.

We did travel with our dog - and stayed outside the room before leaving to insure he didn't bark -

Lots of dogs in the pet-friendly hotel during our several-day stay.

Love that they have a “rescue dog” on site for adoption.

I loved the fact they have a foster dog in the lobby.

It is pet friendly if you are traveling with dogs.

Staff was very friendly & loved the foster dog who greeted us at the front desk.

It was very dog friendly with many throughout the hotel.

Overall it was a good value and nice that we could bring the dog,

They are a pet friendly hotel,  what impressed me most.

although I didn’t take my dogs with me I was able to enjoy seeing others.

We did hear barking dogs in rooms we passed; owners should be more attentive before leaving them behind.

Rooms really small, bathroom not clean, fitted sheet too small for the bed and loud street noise.

Pool area directly faced the construction going on next door, and was noisy, so we opted out of that experience.

The unit is located right in front of one of the beds, about two feet from the bed, which makes it impossible in my case to sleep comfortably because of the constant noise.

No mention was made of noise associated with construction from 7 am - 7 pm right outside our window.

but, because of where it is the street is loud starting about 3pm and doesn't stop until the early hours, and there is foot traffic from the street to the hotel bar and entertainment.

but then people are bringing them everywhere, like the bar, and you can occasionally hear one barking.

But it sounds like a giant sweeper or a jet plane engine in the middle of the night.

The one minor drawback I had was that there was a fair amount of hallway noise.

but not right in the middle where it may be noisy.

Our neighbors were not loud, you could just hear everything.

The noise level has never been bad in my opinion here

On the first floor, where we waited for the elevator to take us to the lobby on the 2nd floor, the music was so loud, I couldn’t hear the elevator bell.

Our 3rd floor room faced Biltmore Ave and the traffic noise lasted most of the night.

but could still hear people having conversations on the street.

When the people in the next room got up early this morning, we could hear every word of their conversation.

On the downside, the light switches are VERY confusing and our AC unit was loud and had an annoying rattle that we couldn't fix.

But after dinner we were going to swing by the bar and HOLY COW it was packed, layers and layers of people no masks shouting over loud music!

Our room facing the Main Street was very noisy all night with the street traffic.

Plus the WXYZ bar was well stocked and the bartenders mixed some delicious cocktails.

If you aren’t interested in going out, their bar provides all of the food and libations to keep you going!

The initial room had fur as well as food particles left behind on the counter surfaces.

It's within easy walking distance to all the restaurants, shopping and breweries in downtown Asheville.

it was nice to be able to walk to nearly everything we wanted, the hotel is in the middle of shops and restaurants.

The staff were very friendly and gave us good restaurant recommendations.

+Perfect location - no need to drive since it is within a few blocks of many restaurants and breweries
+Nice lobby bar - nicely made cocktails and even offered a couple non-alcoholic mocktails on the menu
+nice, standard size modern room with a good layout.

Pool deck is a fantastic place to watch the sun set with a cocktail from the bar.

The hotel has a bar on site, swimming pool and is close to many restaurants.

The location is perfect, walkable to shops/restaurants and the art museum.

Children's Museum, Flat Rock Cider Works, Falderal Winery, Joy of Books, The Blue Door Bottleshop & Beer Hall, Spice of life and Variety Tea, Wag!

The location: This hotel is within walking distance of quite a few restaurants and shops.

Covid aware environment if you’re looking for a safe atmosphere to have some cocktails amongst family or friends.

This hotel is in an amazing location convenient to downtown Asheville’s restaurants and shops.

Hotel is in the center of town and close to some of the best restaurants in the city.

The location is great for walking to restaurants and shops.

There are so many breweries and restaurants within walking distance; what you spend on accommodations, you’ll more than save on ubers (if eating and drinking are your things ;) ).

This was our second stay at Aloft in Asheville and we choose it again for it’s great location in downtown Asheville, easy parking and rooftop pool.

The bar balcony, rooftop pool and the indoor lounge areas were all nice.

The rooftop pool looks appealing for summer visitors.

There is a great rooftop pool with a dog run, tons of communal areas inside and outside with spectacular views.

but the rooftop pool and lounge areas looked very nice!

but the rooftop pool was a great touch, as well as the rooftop dog run.

The rooftop  pool was really nice - we had out own little happy hour each evening at the pool.

The only really attractive area is the large rooftop pool and seating.

The location, fun lobby, great beds, cool rooftop pool and firepits, and dog and kid friendly features cinch it for us.

Excellent location, wonderful staff, great bar, adoptable animals to play with, beautiful rooftop pool. .

The pool here is a very nice rooftop pool that is well done, and has a nice view of the Asheville neighborhood.

They have a rooftop pool, fire pit and bar that overlooks some of the downtown area.

There is a door to the small room with toilet and shower.

The room is tiny and it was hard for 2 adults, a toddler, and a 50lb dog + 2 suitcases to get around freely.

The rooms are very small and cramped especially with a large velcro dog.

The room was a bit small; it was designed to be compact and had a tiny closet,

The only small cons were the rooms are small.

I would not choose this hotel for a romantic stay as the rooms are a little small and you can hear some sounds from other rooms and the hall.

Room was small (Room 522), sink to your left when you walk in the door and toilet and shower behind a sliding door that didnt lock and would not stay closed.

The shelter dog that they were looking for a home for (Spike) is such a good idea, we hope he finds a home.

We were able to have them with us at the lobby bar and at the breakfast area next to the front desk.

Professional and friendly staff and very accommodating Loved the decor, modern and contemporary.

We were astonished to find that 'Pet Friendly' at Aloft means every single room can host a pet.

Staff was also very apologetic and tried to be as helpful as they could

Nice rooms and good customer service at the front desk.

First, the desk personnel were all pleasant and accommodating.

The staff took great care of us and made our anniversary celebration super special.

but, was nice when inside to see luggage cars and a kind staff to check us in.

From the time we arrived, we felt the warmth of southern hospitality from the staff.

What made the experience and why I’m writing this review is the staff at the ALoft.

The staff were super friendly and the various outdoor seating options were great!

I really enjoyed the ease of check in and the friendly staff.

It was very clean and all staff was super friendly.

The pros are a good location, friendly professional staff, and clean nice rooms.

Check in was a breeze, and the gentleman checking us in was pleasant and helpful.

Our room was ready early, the valet parking was a breeze, and the location is perfect for exploring Denver.

Check in was a breeze and the rooms were spacious and clean.

She offered us many tips for our first time in Denver and made check in a breeze.

but with ease as if we were just shooting the breeze.

As others have mentioned, the location is great, getting to and from the airport is a breeze, the rooms and public spaces were good, and all the staff I interacted with were pleasant and helpful.

Check in was a breeze no issues with my dog.

Despite massive flight issues, check in was a breeze, even at 3:30 in the morning!

The hotel lobby is beautiful and the check in was a breeze.

The staff is excellent and check in and check out was a breeze!

The group booking was a breeze and I was helped at every step by Carli Bach.

We asked for a box fan for the white noise and breeze and they quickly granted our request.

As expected, the best point about the hotel was its location in the heart of downtown, which made our visit to the Denver mint a breeze.

Come a week later they double charged me for “a no show”.

The key cards did not work well and we had to slam the door handle down for it to open.

He said I was charged for a “no show”.

He said there was no need for the credit card and that he would have something sent to them.

I was offered a $25 food and beverage credit.

Also you must have a key card to use elevators or stairs all electronically monitored.

I entered all my info into the computer, including # of children and my billing information and after billing info, it asked for my guest's name.

The lamp in the room which has the AC plugs was so worn out the AC plugs subtly don't charge your electronics.

Had to call Marriott customer support to get my points back and cancel 2nd reservation so would not get double charged on dollars.

She gave me her business card so that I could get a discount on the tour and told me that I could phone her at any time.

So basically for my $200 room after my $50 credit from the night manager it cost us $150.00 to get ZERO sleep night one.

One day I didn’t need to swipe card to stop on pool level or my floor,

They should not charge extra for “Mountain View” rooms as tall buildings next door block the view.

And now they have charged me $85 for which I need to jump a 100 times to get it refunded.

I had to make a phone call and be put on hold for awhile in order to have the charge taken back off---I have not seen it come off of my credit card yet so hopefully it is taken care of.

Lots of outlets to charge your devices which in some hotels is a struggle.

I was disappointed that my room did not appear to have a single USB charging port.

They would not remove the charge for valet parking,

but allowed my huband to park and did not charge extra for the trailer.

We have traveled extensively to 4 and 5 AAA Diamond Properties, and our experience at the Westin Downtown Denver was one of our favs.

I have stayed at the Westin Downtown before.

even though it is located in downtown Denver which is becoming like Portland.

Westin Downtown Denver has neither right now.

I suggest you keep looking, I’d recommend any other Marriott property in Downtown over this place.

HUGE room, largest I’ve ever had in downtown Denver.

You do have to use your key in the elevators - again - it’s a prime downtown location.

Being downtown I worried about safety with current rioting and homeless population,

This was my first stay at the Westin Downtown Denver and I was impressed.

From check-in Tre was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the property and Downtown area.

The Westin Downtown continues to be one of our favorite hotels in Denver, as the location is fantastic and the staff always courteous, professional and willing to go the extra mile.

If you are looking for a nice hotel central to downtown this is your place.

This is a nice hotel with good amenities downtown.

This was a wonderful hotel for spending time in downtown Denver!

I have stayed at four hotels in downtown Denver.

I am in disbelief on how bad my stay was at the Westin Downtown Denver.

but it’s probably par for the course in downtown Denver.

We made a last minute reservation at the Westin Downtown Denver for our anniversary.

Bartender in the lobby bar was very nice.

my husband and I had a wonderful experience; the room was fantastic, the lobby bar was lovely and our breakfast at The Augusta was FANTASTIC!

Good bar in the lobby and many places to eat just outside the front door.

Our room was clean and comfortable with a fabulous view, breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the lobby bar served great drinks.

The bartenders in the lobby bar were also sweet and good company.

The lobby and bar areas are nice, and the staff is friendly.

There is a well-stocked, and personality-staffed lobby bar.

The lobby bar provides good service as well meal service.
