Great atmosphere in the casino with a lot of people having a lot of fun!

The food was delicious, the casino had a wealth of options, and there the art installations were great; it truly felt like there was always something to do within the hotel, whether on the Venetian or on the Palazzo side, it was so much fun!

Formula One was great and I could not have picked a better casino to enjoy the race with.

Great shopping and shows right at the casino.

The casino is huge and was quite busy during the evenings

The walk to the tower is very far from the casino.

The tower was quite a walk from the lobby and casino

Great casino and resort, rooms are big and clean, many good amenities, good shopping and restaurants, nearby many good resorts.

I have been to the casino on many occasions and had no idea what a great experience it would be to stay as a guest.

Never again, Midwest casinos still take care of you!

Also if you sign up for their rewards program (you need a rewards card which is free if you obtain it from the casino) you will get ten percent off the gondola ride.

The casino is world class best with every gaming table, slot machine, and poker rooms anyone could ever imagine.

Signage and directions were very confusing as they usually are in casinos.

Been coming here for 20 years, absolutely amazing steph, property, location, food, casino and Rewards.

I shopped, had great food, and the Casino was VERY good to me.

My stay was incredible the Cleanliness of my room and the entire Hotel and Casino was amazing.

Check out was a nightmare due to an overcharge.

Or maybe the housekeeper  gets a commission on the charge if they report it???.

And if you bothered to move anything then you would be charged.

Parking is now charged even if you're a guest.

He aggressively taps it and says “can either of you not read?”  “This clearly says to scan your card”, “you either can’t read or you are stupid”.

They are now charging a ridiculous $29 per day for something that has been complimentary for years and years.

but said they could not remove the charges without approval from a manager.

They didn’t provide paper maps except the itty bitty map on the key card envelope.

But i think it would be better if there is a guidebook about the charges (especially for foreign tourists like me), i'm really confused about the resort fee and parking fee. .

Then later, after spending time in the room and deciding maybe I should consider paying the up charge, I was told nothing was available.

Customer no service with hours to correct wrong billing.

I called amex they said hotel never updated their information.

Only negative is quirky snack and beverage trays in rooms that charge you if jostled and one crabby card dealer.

but it would be much better if you can request that from the reservation/check-in time for no additional charge.

Our first assigned room had a dead battery in the key card device so we couldn't get into the room.

but surprisingly at the reception they charged us 2100 U$, that is an additional 300 U$, this is a lack of transparency and is not correct .

but for the price that Venetian charges, they need to do better to ventilate the rooms.

but returned them, and was notified at the reception desk that they would not be charged and the deposit would be returned, we received the receipt confirming this.

The rooms are very big , well furnished and comfortable beds , 

With great views of the strip or the sphere , ask for a high room for full views

The shops are amazing and the whole ambiance of Venice indoors is just icing on the cake!

The enviroment was nice the ambience was amazing.

A classy, elegant, upscale hotel that offers the best of beautiful, vintage, contemporary and comfortable living experience with fabulous dining and entertainment options!

Overall its an exciting and fun place to stay and has something for everybody.

but it’s been upstaged by the newer and more elegant Wynn’s right next door.

We arrived just a day after the F1 race, everyone and their brother was in Vegas,
The employees at check in were so friendly, polite, they gave you a warm experience, 
Very efficient, our room was to die for, very clean well stocked with personal items,
Excellent view of the strip,the grand lux  restaurant was clean well staffed, variety of foods,
Overall the employees were the best, the atmosphere was good,

The Venetian is truly one of the most luxurious stays that I have (given its price range), it provides you with exceptional value and the facilities are top-notch, the hotel interior is very beautiful, especially in the lobby and public places.

Sunken living space, well designed, great amenities.

Check in was smooth and efficient, the suite itself was spacious,  nicely furnished and had a wet bar with a fridge,  which we like - handy for storing a bottle of wine or sandwiches etc.

The rooms were impeccably clean the decor of the entire hotel was exquisite in its detail and the temperature of the hotel was fantastic -even in massive crowds.

but if you like a classic, clean vibe then 100% recommend.

In fact, the (very empty) mini fridge that was in the main room was trapped behind a cabinet door that you had to force open all the way in order to be able to open the fridge door.

WiFi in room didn’t work - had to call to get at IT tech up next day to get me connected 
Phones in room didn’t work
Mini fridge in room cannot be touched or emptied or you will be charged 
Hotel is packed day and night.

One point that I wish was there by default is a refrigerator in the room, I believe that can be requested from the front desk for an additional fee,

but even though they call them suites, there are no mini-fridges, microwaves, or coffee machines in the rooms.

All extras like parking, or requesting a mini fridge, or even basic extra requests are not included in that fee.

Staying in room 17 211, we took nothing from the stocked fridge or the drink/snack tray.

There was no refrigerator so suggest you buy a cheap ice chest for your food / drinks.

I dislike the fact there is no coffee maker in the room, so I take a tiny keurig.

However, I did not like that the fridge was not usable as it was pre-stocked with mini-bar items that you get charged for if you move, so no place to store water bottles (water bottles you must bring yourself, because this hotel does not give you any for free).

The only complaint i have is the fridge is loaded with the hotels overpriced refreshments therefore the is no space available to put your own groceries or medications.

Don't touch the drink and food that are lying around or the stuff in the fridge.

The staff were rude and unhelpful yet very helpful and accommodating to the “rich” men who were asking for an extra fridge and the concierge could not do enough for them.

The only downsides were; no coffee and tea making facilities in the room and  no room in the fridge for shop bought water or drinks, I presume this is a money making thing.

Spoke with someone at 10am asked to clean my room she said 5 minutes it’s  after 1 pm I left came back nothing done asked again no one came I’m over it I cleaned it myself for over a $1k y’all can’t clean my room and NO refrigerator it’s full with sale items if you move it you will be charge so where do I put my water?????

For us the fact it lacked a fridge, and the size of the hotel are small disadvantages.

but it was filled with overpriced items with no room for your own stuff.

So, I'm being very picky here because of the amount of money we paid:
It was a corner penthouse.

They currently gave us a regular room at 6pm when we paid for a suite and not offering to adjust the price for the cheaper room we were given.

A health and well-being related item like this should not have such an exorbitant fee.

I was not happy that I had to pay a resort fee of $51 for the pool, which I did not use and had to pay an additional $18 for parking when I checked out.

They charge you $11 for a cheap bottle of water.

but for the prices we paid, they should have provided plug ins next to bed sides for phones, softer towels and higher quality soaps, paper products and a few extra perks.

When I requested a move early today I was first told it would be about 150% of the rate I was paying.

As I had so many issues with check in and the poor service I received, my resort fees were waived

however when we returned to the room that evening nothing had changed, I complained to receptionist the second morning and the duty manager offered me the rest of the weeks fees cancelled and the issues resolved, we did receive 2 pairs of slippers and 1 extra robe, the mirrors and stool was never cleaned and it took the edge of my experience having to moan at reception, apart from that it’s a very impressive hotel

Paid over $2,000 a night for a room, only to find it online for $799.

Considering what we pay daily for resort fees, there should at least be coffee in the room.

The hotel itself has so many top notch restaurants to choose from and each one more delicious than the last!

Features a large variety of dining choices.

Lots of food options, both fancy and casual.

Besides this, the service was great,  there are soo many great restaurants to choose from and the conference was amazing.

And the choice of Restaurants New and old are just outstanding.

Having so many food options nearby in the resort was great, especially with kids the quick access to the food court for lunch was excellent.

The food options are amazing and taste great (Cake boss and Buddy V's are a must!).

Beautiful property, great pools, lots of restaurant options, spectacular vegan restaurant, close to many other places, friendly staff, close to lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

Accessible food court with different food to choose from.

Tons of food choices and great restaurants.

Exploring the Grand Canal Shoppes and dining options within the hotel was enjoyable.

We have found that The Venetian offers great suites, a terrific variety of food and a friendly group of dealers and pit bosses especially in the Pai Gow area.

There is so many dining options from expensive to inexpensive and the shopping is fantastic with many options as well! !

Fast and easy check in and out, super clean and updated premium suite, easy to navigate and access other parts of the property, super friendly and helpful staff, many onsite dining options.

Best hotel on the strip, location, cleanliness, vibe, restaurant options, two casinos for the price of one (Palazzo hotel and casino also connected to Venetian via restaurant row with mall and more restaurants, multiple pools and spa's) overall great experience.

Waited on the casino floor which is smoke filled and has poor ventilation.

Smoke in all areas except non smoking rooms

Even in the casino area the air was not full of cigarette smoke.

Had a nasty experience with a‘security’ guy who told us the wrong way to get to our room, smiled and laughed at us when we returned to ask for help.

Gross rooms, I would expect more from a resort of this caliber.

Room was dirty and smelled, had to change rooms.

Molds in the bathroom and no extra pillow or blanket when we requested they said it would take 2 hrs to deliver it.

The room was spacious & the linens smelled like smoke bad.

Just beware if your sensitive to the smell of smoke. 4.

The only issue I had this time was that smoking is allowed again in the Casino and if you're sensitive to that, you can smell it everywhere.

I never smoked in my life and woke up with smokers cough.

Staff was professional and helpful - close to activities on the strip- only bad thing which mattered to me was the 
faint smell of septic throughout property - especially at pool - enough that I left - they need to pipe in freshener like most hotels-
Construction was also going on so it was noisy at all pools.

Did not enjoy the smell of weed along the corridors in a supposed weed free resort!

Hated the smoke casino that one had to walk through to get anywhere.

butts, 4) my ongoing gripe about the two construction cranes atop an unfinished building covered with a cheap schmata made to look like a building (surely after a decade or so, this incredibly ugly eyesore can be remedied; it not only detracts from the overall panorama, but also seems to reflect on the attitude of management.

but hung over the railing, not vacuumed  and the toilet filthy.

The 600 tower Venezia smelled like smoke and Marijuana.

cigarettes smoke and drunks are everywhere.

I have stayed at Palzzo in the past and thought the club was a great value, 

The club was not only amazingly beautiful , it was also exciting & very entertaining.

The Club Tao was so lit and I had a fabulous time with my friends.

The club had a guest dj who was entertaining and also great dancers.

Was going to title review “best hotel-casino on the strip,”

Restaurants are some of the best on the strip!

The Venetian is still beautiful after 25 years on the Strip, located ideally within walking distance of the some of Las Vegas’s other top hotels - Caesar’s Palace, Bellagio, Mirage, and Wynn’s.

It was the nicest room - and the very best Consiere service we’ve ever had on the Strip.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable and had a view of the Palazzo Pool and some of the strip.

The location in great, right on the strip.

but to the F1 and its impact on the strip, including the draining/closure of the canal experience out the front.

Stay here as often as you can, it's a fantastic hotel on the strip with great service, food, gaming and anything else you could want out of Vegas.

but the view of the strip, and mountains from our suite offset this for sure!

It is right in the heart of the strip and we were able to walk everywhere.

but you're also pretty centrally located to the other resorts on the strip that it makes it easy to explore.

Over the past forty years we have stayed at a variety of hotels on the Strip.

For the price (twice what a good name brand hotel costs a block away off the strip) I expected better.

I would honestly not recommend anyone to stay here the other hotels on the strip had a lot better and friendly staff.

Other than one stain on the couch the room was very clean.

The room was so spacious & well-appointed.

The hotel and room were exceptionally clean.

We loved the staff, our room was fantastically clean and lovely, Great view and excellent room service breakfast.

Our room wasn’t ready when we got there (even tho we checked in online) and the room wasn’t too clean - one day they didn’t make the room either.

It’s beyond belief how a so-called prestigious hotel can neglect basic cleanliness.

The Venetian side seems better and more thorough when it comes to cleanliness.

The room was large and clean except the toilet which was really dirty, must have overlook it.

I’m thankful that the linens were at least clean.

And the Casino atmosphere, cleanness and winning joy at slot is the BSET at Palazzo to me!

No water in the rooms, no coffee in the rooms and $150 charge if you put your own water in the minibar. Crazy!

When we asked for more glasses we were told that they would be charged!! What??!!

They started charging for parking after we booked and still would not give us free parking.

Once checked in you need to walk through the smoke infested casino to get to your room where you have to pass through a card scan.

but not from a luxury hotel charging several hundreds of dollars a night.

We were charged 32 per drink on for 4 frozen drinks by the pool.

Durning checkout I questioned the food credit given to me a whopping $50

even though we did not touched it, we were charged $300+ for it that I have to call again to get it fixed.

Reason I'm not giving five stars is because it's billed as a five-star hotel,

It kind of bothers me that they still want to charge $102 for , the resort fee,

Hashtag will over charge you and scam you out of your money.

Can you believe they had the audacity to charge for the following?

lol), The only downside to the room, in my opinion, is the lack of coffee maker and refrigerator (they have a stocked little fridge..but it's small and full of things that you get charged for if you so much as move them).

In conclusion, my stay at the Venetian resort did not live up to the high standards I expected as a Platinum American Express cardholder and as a participant in the AmEx Fine Hotels program.

That alone ensures some additional safety (kind of easy to bypass because all you have to do is give one of your room key cards to someone else and they can use it to get through).

This year they charge $50 per chair per day.

Extra charges are applied for room service.

but don't touch it as you will be charged .

They also make their billing so confusing.

Huge living room with mismatched and randomly placed furniture.

Good:
- The larger room with living area is excellent from a square foot perspective
-  The casino atmosphere was nice.

This hotel has shown its true colors – ignorance, disrespect, and filth.

Vegas Palazzo has perfected the art of taking.

Beautiful decor, amazing suites and without a doubt, the best staff anywhere in Las Vegas.

The decor and all the beautiful things to see are incredible!

It is a nicely styled resort, with a great casino and an excellent selection of restaurants.

The attention to detail, the courtesy and professionalism with all the staff we interacted with and the overall ambiance can’t be matched!

One more thing - interior signage is so lame it's like being at IKEA.

From your first entry, you’re greeted by the most beautiful decor and kind staff members who are the most helpful when checking you in!

Fabulous facilities, choice of restaurants, busy atmosphere, great location.

Definitely recommend the Palazzo tower over the Venetian, as the latter is looking dated.

It speaks of elegance from the moment you walk into the lobby.

What a beautiful 5 star hotel, with large modern and comfortable rooms, great staff, great restaurants, and an amazing ambiance.

I had upgraded to a one bedroom suite to allow for family gatherings in our room and was more than pleased with the room, the view, the layout and furnishings and accommodation amenities.

The rooms are decorated to match the traditional feel that the Venetian/Palazzo offers, with a somewhat modern feel –

Nice really big rooms, great staff in a good location on the strip.

Rooms are large, bed is comfortable, bathroom is huge and clean.

The room was huge with two bathrooms, a living room and bedroom area.

Rooms are very large, clean and in good condition.

The hotel itself is spectacular, the room was huge and the staff was extremely helpful and polite.

Rooms are huge suites , comfy beddings and toilettries are more than adequate , bathrobes in hotel rooms , electronic refrigerator  for chargeable in-room snacks /drinks, nice views  of LV depending on room location , secure , classy , feee to raking ; resort fees , excellent location of hotel  to most everything and everyplace.

Room was big and clean with great Aircon .

We felt from the start we were merely a number .. in a room in a big impersonal hotel .

The rooms are huge and beautifully designed

Huge room with separate large sitting area, two TVs, spacious bathroom, tasteful decor.

the rooms are large and first class quality.

Big rooms, nice pool area, easy access to most everything I wanted to do.

but definitely too short of a ride for the inflated cost.

We did't get any of the amenities they had and it was expensive and changed by the day.

but expected a little better service for an expensive five star hotel.

We will be filing complaints and chargebacks with Amex and also writing to Forbes and ask them to explain how they rate this a five star.
