•	Overall, the food was great, especially at Tau Beach Club (lobster tail) and at Aquabar (Shrimp ceviche, guacamole, nachos).

We spent 6 days at Casa Velas to celebrate our honeymoon, and we enjoyed every minute at the resort and Tau Beach Club!

It was a great fun-filled day of beach fun.

We had wonderful days by the pool and we took the shuttle for an afternoon at the Tau Beach Club.

We held our ceremony and reception at the Tau Beach Club and could not have asked for a more picturesque setting.

The food, service, beach club,

The restaurant on the beach had fantastic views as well as great food.

The food and beverage quality is very good for an all inclusive resort, both at the main hotel restaurant and at the associated private beach club.

We were also drawn to the fact that the resort focused more on quality food than quantity and that we still had full access to the beach by their private beach club, Tau.

Several trips were made to Tau Beach Club.

We took the opportunity during our 10 day stay to enjoy Tau, their private beach club, complete with a warm infinity pool.

From our Bell Boy, Armando to our waiter Daniel at Emiliano’s, Ricardo at the front desk, Benny at Tau Beach Club and every single staff member in between, the service is top notch and genuine.

No towel games as guest are often shopping, golfing or visiting Tau Beach Club for the day.

Tau beach club has a different menu now and we found it to be more restrictive than in the past… missed the mango tango shrimp, curry, spring rolls and other favourites

Down at the pool club, David the manager was funny and attentive.

We spent a day at Tau Beach Club, also known as Casa Velas Beach Club.

The accommodations, especially the suites, are roomy and well-furnished.

The resort has only 80 rooms so it is intimate, quiet and so relaxing.

Beginning in the evenings, the music provided a beautiful atmosphere in the central area of the resort.

If you want quality, peaceful and gorgeous surroundings 
go to Casa Velas you will not be disappointed.

Emilianos’ breakfast was good (huevos rancheros, machaca)
•	The ice blended cocktails on the menu were great at Aquabar (skip a traditional drink like a Pina Colada and order specialty cocktail drinks listed on their menu like the Coco-Banana and Blue Peacock.

Very laid back, peaceful, quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Casa Velas shines when it comes to the overall ambience of the hotel, the quality of food and service at Emilio’s, and the convenience of the beach club and the beach itself.

The whole atmosphere speaks old-world luxe.

Stellar service and food at Emiliano from Special coffee to a decorated dessert plate giving us a farewell on our last night.

If staying at a chill and relaxed experience is your vibe, it does not get better than this.

I can't begin to thank and name everyone that helped to make our stay exquisite as I don't wish to leave anyone out.

And I would be remiss if I didn't mention exquisite dining overlooking gorgeous Banderas Bay.

The all inclusive food and drinks  were great, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.

My room was on the top floor with an expansive balcony and private plunge pool overlooking the lush courtyard, gardens and pool.

Daily music at breakfast and dinner made sitting outside a very relaxing environment.

Ramone is hands down the best bartender I’ve ever come across - his drinks, especially the “Ramone Especial” were top of the line and aesthetically pleasing! He very quickly learned what we liked (a Tajin rim on anything we drank!)

We have stayed on four occasions and welcome the beauty of the surroundings and attention of the staff.

After completing the necessary paperwork, we were escorted to our “Master Suite” (310), admiring the attractive landscaping and “classic” decor along the way.

Not for those seeking party scene - this is a great place for a relaxing escape without the kids.

Quiet, all-adult, and modestly scaled (80+ rooms as compared to larger resorts with 400-500) Casa Velas boasts beautiful accommodations, delicious food, and elegant amenities -

I don’t want to leave anyone out so I’ll say they bent over backwards to get us anything we asked for and helped with tee times for golf courses.

Our room was right off the golf course with such an amazing view.

Iguanas, an Armadillo on the golf course, a very persistent woodpecker, who pecked away at a light on a post, a green gecko who lost his tail, a very large lost Crab and Koi and turtles.

We asked to see different types of rooms, and have already booked a pool/golf course view for our next stay.

The rooms are spacious and clean, bar fridge is stocked and if you book a Plus room, you will be have a great view of the golf course.

We chose a Grand Class Plus suite with a plunge pool which was a corner suite overlooking the golf course - very clean and well appointed with a very large sitting area around our own pool.

but we didn't even thought about it cause you get everything you need and want in this beautiful type of hacienda next to the golf course.

My husband played golf twice at the course there he enjoyed it very much rated it a 7 out of 10,

Easy access to Marina golf and walk to Marina area.

Our room was very comfortable with a beautiful view on the golf course.

The Tau Beach Club  is a 4  minute shuttle ride from Casa Velas, or a ten minute walk across the golf course.

but in an exclusive area surrounded by a golf course and gardens, very quiet and peaceful.

but you have access via 5 mins shared shuttle at their sister location and the golf course location is beautiful and relaxing.

This hotel seats on a quiet golf course with a beautiful pool area with a swim up bar.

Absolutely beautiful property on a golf course with a turtle pond and coi fish pond… Close to airport easy access to town and nightlife.

My husband and son played golf, loosing a few balls to water hazards they stayed clear of due to crocodile sitings.

The setting is gorgeous, quiet area right beside holes 9 and 10 of Marina Vallarta Golf Club.

The food is great and the pool is beautiful.

We have reviewed this hotel many times so you can refer to my other reviews about food, rooms, etc.

The day before Ramón had his day off, he specially prepared an off menu cocktail for me, so I could still have it in his absence.

The food, the service and the accommodations were impeccable.

The staff, service, food and favorites were fabulous.

We ate at a restaurant in Velas (nothing spectacular).

All inclusive option opens opportunities to be lazy and have drinks and food as needed.

The romantic dinner on the beach was delicious and there was a fantastic sunset to follow.

This resort is about the food and drinks.

Every meal was excellent in presentation and taste.

My last night at dinner they sent me off with a beautiful going away message on my dessert plated and it was very special and I shedded a few tears.

You’ll also select your menu with one of Casa Velas’s incredible chefs.

Food is tremendous and the grounds are beautiful.

Casa Velas grounds are beautifully maintained and the staff is the absolute essence of courteous, attentive service.

The resort was beautiful, clean, and the whole staff was the friendliest at any resort, we have stayed.

The staff is first class, thinking of every detail along the way.

Also, you could chat with the staff on your likes and they would change up any dish to your liking.

All of the staff was amazing and very attentive to your needs, they treat you like you were one of their family members.

They call you by name and greet you with a smile wherever you go.

The highlight here is that the kitchen staff (particularly Chef Ernesto) and waitstaff went above and beyond.

We have the best time in casa velas Puerto Vallarta, staff is so friendly and kind, we love everything, good wash amazing delicious, we go back for sure next year.

Lovely landscaping (exquisite water lilies), friendly and most helpful staff.

The staff were all excellent and Armando was a continuing help, including on the way back to the airport.

The dining room was lovely, the wait staff quickly learned our taste and were prepared before we even arrived.

I would only return for the staff and the property

but were so impressed with how accommodating, helpful, and warm the Casa Velas staff are.

He also had a massage at the spa and said that was great.

Yolanda and Emelda at the spa gave us the best couple massage ever.

We went to the spa for massages and I have never been so relaxed!

We really want to give a shout-out full of gratitude to the following members of staff, who made this such a delightful experience: Alex and Alondra at the front desk, Isaac and Jose at the restaurant, Norberto and Armando who drove the shuttles, Rosa at the gate, and Adriana and Yolanda who were with us at the spa and gave us the best massages we’ve had in ages.

We highly recommend indulging w/ a massage from the spa.

In the spa, we had really wonderful treatments by Adriana and Yolanda—they are top-notch at massages and reflexology.

but relax , the spa is a must to experience.

Finally, if you have the chance to go to the spa, Adriana gives the most amazing massage, and Yamil goes out of his way to make your experience special.

A massage at the Spa is a must with excellent staff and facilities.

but eating across from the ocean in the evening, hearing the surf breaking is pretty cool

There are elements of this property that are exceptional: the rooms, the pool, the grounds and the spa/fitness facility.

The food was excellent, the spa was a real treat, the service was really over the top, the rooms were very nice and the three golf courses were a good challenge!

We went to the Spa a couple times, they were all very professional, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Bernese took care of us.

We also used the spa for a couples treatment and were dazzled by the amenities and staff.

The staff was amazing and we stayed in the diamond club area most days the staff was completely helpful and always ready with drinks.

Diamond Club:
I wanted to touch on this as before our holiday it was a little unclear what the differences were from a standard/ diamond club/ hideaway stay.

We just arrived back from the Royalton Rivera Cancun ( Diamond Club) swim up room.

Starting from reception, all through housekeepers, all staff, the kids club and the best nanny- Ariana all exceeded our expectations!

Diamond Club beach: Cesar was our server and once he learnt what you drank, the cup was bottomless!

We pre selected our room, diamond Club and booked block 6 facing ocean, the view was to die for and room was amazing.

It was unorganized as my husband and I sat around for almost two hours while they tried to get us in a room- and we were diamond club.

There was no need to upgrade to diamond club as the staff and resort really looked after is.

It was a terrific deal with 40% off and came with the junior swim up, VIP Diamond Club and a

Stayed in the swim out suite w/diamond club upgrade.

Marcos at the Diamond Club Pool Bar was amazing during our entire stay.

Diamond Club: well worth the money in my opinion.

We visited the Royalton Riviera Cancun Labor Day weekend as Diamond Club and Hideaway members.

Using the Diamond Club services was new for us and the first little bit we didn’t know what to expect,

I would say to opt for diamond club and pay a little bit more it's worth it.

We took the diamond club ocenview king size bed with terrace and jacuzzi room, it was AMAZING.

Royalton excursion to Isla Muajee was fab, Angel and the Marathon staff made trip a pleasure, premium beach club couldn't be faulted, excellent food loads of choice, drinks fab and massage amazing and a fraction of the cost of hotel.

The entertainment provided by the Vibe Team was outstanding and kept the day full of activities.

They are continuously working hard on sprucing the place up and it is definitely working.

Other strengths of this resort were the outright party vibe.

The service staff at the pools and the Vibe team were nice and attentive, we just didn't always have timely access to the pool towels.

During our stay we encountered many handymen and maintenance staff decorating and attending to various rooms to fix/replace fixtures and fittings, which is great to see things are maintained.

The food was amazing and atmosphere was great.

Amazing resort, had a blast by the pool with the vibe team especially Mahui, Marisol & Goretti!

Hotel
The hotel itself is very picturesque, looks amazing with some great architecture and landscaping.

Special shout out to Yeni, Gorreti, all the bar staff near the splash pool & vibe team situated there and the best of all for me Pedro who worked in the buffet and then sports bar on an evening he really went above and beyond for us all holiday!!

Great atmosphere made all the better by our wonderful server Miguel!

Do go on the boat trip via the hotel to the islands you will get the beautiful sea, and the beach food, drink and atmosphere were great.

She helped with our reservation, our dinners, even had our hotel room decorated for our anniversary!!!

Gorgetti from the Vibe team was the sweetest person.

Marisol, part of the Vibe Team, headed up by Edween.

They decorated his room and brought him a cake, which he appreciated.

I went with my boyfriend for a little vacation before baby ( 3/4 month’s pregnant) 
The resort was absolutely beautiful.

We also loved the gym, very well equipped - I got there 5 days out of 7 during the vacation - that has never happened before on vacation.

This was the best aquafit class Gabby is aswome, she have a lot of energy, and she dance great, she make a go job👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We will take all her classes, and enjoy de gym on this vacation, we going to dance zumba tomorrow..

Marco is an amazing trainer and I will be attending every class he is doing whilst I am on holidays.

My mom and I came to this hotel for a vacation, and got very lucky to have Eleazar as our guide when we got there.

Enjoyed the fitness center, kick boxing class and aqua spinning class during our vacation.

At the start of the holiday it was fairly quiet so we felt we could actually relax and take our time to go to breakfast and then out to the pool and find somewhere to sit.

Can not fault this hotel, yes needed painted and repaired in small areas and they were doing all this in bits when we left, all staff were amazing and friendly from Jose at the DC pool and Alejandro ( i think was his name he went on vacation after 1st week)

Was a good price for 2 weeks and had a great holiday.

We are just back from having a lovely holiday at the hotel and meet some lovely people and made friends with them.

The ppl who made it worth it was my family and meeting ppl on vacation.

A holiday is what you make it and we really enjoyed ours .

Our kids absolutely loved the nightlife, the place was hopping - even the parents got into it.

There was so much entertainment for my children,  for my fiance and I.

Also the guys at the swimming pool bar (can't remember the name, the swim up bar next to the kiddy pool) were fantastic!!

The entertainment girls were very friendly

Shows every single night for both kids and adults.

We saw baby sea turtles on the beach near the hotel which was absolutely magical, we had so much fun there and met lots of lovely people so it was a great trip,

my kids were scared, crying and as a mom, I was very powerless because I was feeling the same.

I would recommend this resort to anybody with adults & kids!

The hotel is massive, with four different sections, kids, main, diamond and hideaway.

And he was such an amazing wedding so we thought let’s bring him our kids !!!

My little boy loved it and learnt to swim under water which he couldn't do before this holiday.

We elected to have most of our food in the well stocked fresh buffet and the personal touch from particular waiter Moisis Morono stood out.My son loved him and could stop talking about him!

Hard worker and brilliant customer service, made us laugh, great personality and great with our son!

Can’t wait to go back with the kids as it is also super kid friendly.

We done the royalton fitness in the pool with Astrid she was great fun.

Done an amazing first time experience doing aqua fitness class with them in the pool felt so refeshed and alive afterwards defo recommended doing fitness classes!

Go straight to his pool bar and he'll guide you to anything and anywhere you need to go!

We often saw him by the pool in the day and he would ask us for any requests we had.

The attention we received while by the pools and seating areas was exceptional!

but in general to rest I highly recommend it, all the staff is very friendly; my waiter was samy escobar at the pool, always attentive and helpful; Thank you all!

The beach was nice except for one day it was very weedy and good luck getting a bed at the pool, they were spoken for at 7am.

The only thing that made my stay pleasant was Yeni, Uriel and Guillermo from the bar and pool area.

We ended up staying at the pools only, which was fine,

I paid extra thinking I would get the rooftop plunge pool.

During the day when you can jump in thr pool the heat and hunidity is great.

the swimming pools were very sandy and missing lots of tiles.

The service by the pool was exceptionally.

We wanted to upgrade to diamond club paid 900 dollars for the pleasure only to be roomless for the day and to be told we only have lounge access and nothing else, when trying to talk to reception she did not want to hear it.

This added 5-10% to the cost of our vacation, and this was something we had never experienced at the Paradisus.

We had paid a lot of money for this 'luxury' hotel and were very disappointed by the lack of good service.
