It stunk, the customer service was awful, and the bathroom was falling apart.

Rooms were dark and cramped, without any amenities - ice machine out of service, iron broken, had to call for shampoo and soap - no hot water.

but the water pressure for the shower was the only problem!!

Bathroom was filthy as if it hadn't been cleaned before we arrived.

The only issues was the lack of hot water and didn’t have hand soap in the room when got it.

Room could be updated leaky shower head had a washcloth on top to keep from spraying phone reception poor in room.

Dated bathrooms in the guest rooms and thin sheets.

Bathroom dirty especially the hair in the shower.

We had a flooded carpet outside of our room with a fan running all night, and they were not willing to change our room until the second night when it was too late for us to change it.

they extended my checkout by 1 hour, so it could be used at either starbucks, the pyramid cafe, or the buffet in Excalibur (the only options for breakfast within walking distance) realized too late it had been infested with cockroaches when i turned on the bathroom light in the middle of the final night and three scattered on the counter (one was on my toothbrush).

I’ve never seen a hotel charge for refrigerator and then when delivered it doesn’t work properly and there is no rack inside to put your items.

No coffee, no body wash, no towel holder on shower door and check in was delayed.

the bathroom sink drain was absolutely disgusting, would back up with water, and stunk like sewage.

There were hairs in the shower, no shower gel in the container, hairs next to the toilet and dirty towel.

Toilet flooded, bathroom smelled like urine after they cleaned it!

Full trash cans, dirt towels all over, used bars of soap in the shower, dirty sink.

2 out of 4 elevators were out of order for our room section, digital keys didn't work, bathroom sink when turned on smelled like a sewer restraunts could not accommodate the crowds and knowing the crowds you have a dinner buffet could have helped alleviate some of that and overall way over priced

Bed wasn't made everyday, bathroom towels were never replaced.

Also, sharing soap dispensers is pretty gross, go back to individual packaged soaps and shampoos.

Much offered here, restaurants, entertainment, rooms were spacious and kept reasonably clean.

The rooms were great, place was huge and clean.

Luxor is clean, hospitable and walking distance to Allegiant stadium; plenty of entertainment aside from gaming; meal offerings abundant; easy access to tram for Strip exploring; rewards offered are of varying tastes.

I always have a great stay in a 2 bedroom tower suite, clean, quiet and easy to access the other casinos.

We had a great time with through the shops walk the boulevard went to Hoover dam and then my boys went to the shooting range there in Las Vegas.

The pilot was great and he told us many stories of the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Colorado river.

Explore the area(Red Rocks), Valley of Fire, Boulder Dam, and walk the Strip.

The Avis rental desk was very accomidating when my wife and I rented a Convertable Mustang to drive to the Hoover Dam.

Recommend the hoover dam and Grand Canyon tour, nacho daddy’s best nachos ever.

We highly recommend visiting The Valley of Fire, Death Valley, Red Rock Canyon, Lake Mead and The Hoover Dam.

The Hoover Dam was well worth doing, absolutely amazing!

the resort is looking shabby and run down, carpets need cleaning, power wash the filthy parking elevators and walk way into the hotel.

Your elevators were turned off during the construction and no one notified your stafff so your staff could tell people that, the elevator was closed so we were stuck downstairs for a bit till we got help which was way later on.

elevators that don't work, dirty sheets and a broken bed, and employees who don't care and lack empathy.

Hot water took up to 10 minutes, bluetooth key on phone didn't work, elevators broke, internet worked intermittently.

The only bad thing we experienced was the elevators.

An hour wait in line for the one working elevator is ridiculous!

The same mess was on the carpeting in the halls and elevators several days in a row.

Rooms are dated, halls are dirty, half elevators are broken (elevator wait time is 20 minutes), breakfast wait time is 30 minutes and it’s $30 per person (welcome to Vegas!).

The elevators are really dirty, slow and the emergency phone units are all bashed in.

Elevators are filthy , rooms , walls and restaurants too.

but multiple elevators are broken requiring you to walk long ways to go up/down.

We got stuck in the rundown inclination elevator, one of four was totally out of service.

Casino and Hotel is lacking entertainment the food choices are more fast food than restaurants it only offers a Mexican restaurant and the rooms can use a face lift my bathroom shower was leaking water on the floor.

Some rooms near the elevator can be a bit noisy.

The elevator cabs lobbies were terribly worn.

The elevators were a constant frustration.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the check in and check out processes were seamless.

My stay was great, lots of friendly people staying the night as well.

All staff we encountered was super friendly and very pleasant.

Employees make you feel welcome and do a great job of doing that very friendly staff.

The housekeepers were very nice and friendly.

The restaurant choices are good, I especially love Diablos and the entire staff that I interacted with are so nice and friendly.

Great stay great value the staff was very friendly and helpful would recommend friends and family members to stay at luxor convenient to the strip had pretty good luck if I had one complaint it would be the buffet for brunch the breakfast side was not good at all for the price of the buffet.

Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Customer service was amazing and rooms were clean front desk was accessible pretty quick and friendly.

Other than that the rooms were clean, stuff was friendly, housekeeping was amazing and the overall experience was gr8!

but wish I didn't have to pay extra to not have a parking garage view for our 30 year anniversary,  Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was friendly and the casino area was nice.

I will say that the front desk staff was helpful and friendly, and the food, while expensive, was of decent to high quality.

but now…the room was dingy and dirty, our view was ruined by a giant Doritos ad on the window, the restaurants and stores are way overpriced ($5.79 for a 16 Oz bottle of Diet Pepsi $6.99 for a small bag of gummy bears-ridiculous!)

I spent $79 on my room and it wasn't worth $20.

I had extensive issues with the individuals in the neighboring room arguing about illegal activity and being loud to the point I had to request security come address the issue at 5am.

then during the construcition a sewage pipe line broke and filled up every room on my floor with this horrid smell and it was not resolve and i had to stay in a friend room

I had to request to change rooms because the first one I was given had a pungent chemical odor.

It was a problem with the room they were unable to rectify it.

was too exhausted for another room change so just paid a house-keeper to come change the bedding quick. 2 out of 5 mornings i was woken by power tools renovating at 08:30,  the room beside me the first morning (was given a $65 credit and told it could be used towards "anything except the foodcourt" so put a couple Carrot Top tickets on the room.)

The rooms were dirty the carpet was sticky.

Only two were working when we visited and we had to wait pretty long to board one to get to our room.

but need renovations in rooms as a rewards member gaming frequently I thought it would be more pleasing so that I would want to gamble more.

The carpet in the room area of the casino smelled old and moldy.

Rooms are not nice casino is very tight food was mediocre at best not a very good Las Vegas weekend would not recommend staff was great just disappointed in room and food and the gaming cocktail waitress must have been on strike as well

The rooms in the pyramid itself were just regular.

Room was very dated (early 90s feel), un patched holes in the wall, shower water was cold, some of the lights were burnt out, refrigerators were an extra charge (~$30/day).

The room was clean, beds and pillows comfiest ever!

Rooms are well maintained by the cleaning staff, clean rooms, staff was extremely helpful with questions and  kind as well.

I had to switch rooms because some room around me was smoking, the smoke alarm would keep on going, and my room stink of cigarette smoke.

“Non smoking rooms” yet you can’t even breathe in them because of how strong the smell is.

Luxor is old, smelly and just not functioning at a standard that is expected for the money being spent here.

Thankfully, one of their staff did let me know that I was already checked out and to just toss the room keys on the counter and make my flight.

The only nice person was the front desk agent who found me a room after I agreed to an upgrade at additional cost.

Front desk manager tried to make me happy saying he would meet me half way then didn’t meet me half week.

Great family place to stay, Titanic exhibit was museum quality, very nice.

Casino was great and definitely recommend the Titanic exhibit.

but went to the Titanic exhibit which was very good.

We liked the atmosphere, the titanic exhibit was amazing.

I also love the Titanic exhibit, and the Bodies exhibit was also really interesting to see, both of which are right there.

The Titanic exhibit was absolutely amazing and authentic.

It is also conveniently located near the airport and attractions such as the wonderful Titanic exhibit, the interesting Bodies exhibit, and the fun Blue Man Group show.

Titanic exhibit was very interesting and educational.

Hotels claims they have no upgrades available so they don’t have to honor their deal with Amex, yet upgrades are actually available when booking through their online site.

Considering the amount they charge for the rooms, you shouldn’t expect these types of problems.

Don’t look in fridge you’ll be charged for touching.

Front desk refused to reverse the charges.

but no complimentary water or access to the refrigerator which was in the room because it was full and if we touch anything it will charged to us.

I've never been to a resort that states you can only buy items in the refrigerator and if you store your personal goods you will be charged.

Don't even give free coffee/tea in the rooms anymore & couldn't use the fidge or you'd get charged $50.

The main feature, the beach, was closed and under noisy/messy construction (sand blasting), yet the resort fee was fully charged.

I was promised by multiple managers that we would receive $300 off of the first nightly rate, removal of resort fees and a $100 dining credit.

They then said that they would credit is $200 per night for our trouble.

however, that charge was subsequently reversed.

You might get extra charged if you accidentally touch any of those overly priced items.

Rather than cater to customers already paying hundreds of dollars per night for them term, Mandalay Bay would like to charge you another $25 per visit to a separate gym!

You better off charging more somewhere else because mandalay bay is alot of price

After walking in and quickly walking out, making the LONG walk back to the lobby I was assigned another room and a "$50" credit that never showed up.

You have to use a key card to get to your floor

Gamble maybe 3000 each stay have the credit card still haven’t reached gold.

$27 bottles of water in room, $50 charge if you use the fridge.

After being warned not to touch the contents in the fridge or mini bar as the sensors would charge us with any movement, we started to feel this hotel is absurd and for what came to a $500 a night stay.

The next day we left for a Hoover Dam tour; that evening, we enjoyed Cirque's Michael Jackson show at Mandalay - this is an epic presentation of extraordinary dance, acting, acrobatics and more.

I booked a Costco package with a free rental car so I was able to see the Hoover dam, Summerlin and Henderson.

but wanted to, right there at Mandalay. We did purchase tix ahead of time on line for a tour of the Hoover Dam (awesome!)

The Grand Canyon can be a day trip as can the Valley of Fire, Hoover Dam and other amazing places to hike and explore.

Booked trips from UK - Grand Canyon by bus a long 9 hr trip each way incorporating Hoover Dam.- would fly next time given the choice again, and spend at least a day at each as these places are awesome to visit.

The fridge is an amenity we could not use then what is it for.

My only issue with the room was that the in-room refrigerator is solely there to store items FOR PURCHASE and not for the guests' convenience.

No complimentary coffee and a fridge that can be used for keeping your refreshments cold for an outrageous fee.

Don’t get tempted by the minibar bring your own beverages and snacks.

It was like a Joe Pesci mini fridge giving me the middle finger over chilled water.

Also, the mechanical sounds coming from the bathroom would have prevented us from sleeping had we not had a white noise maker.

While climbing over the trash,dirty bagged sheets and fridge to get into the door I knew it was a problem.

Guests would surely prefer a fridge rather than the crazy expensive mini bar!

Having all the snacks on the counter and minibar filled was not a good experience.

We then asked for a kettle and hot water as we didn’t realize how freezing Vegas at this time of year.

I paid 60 bucks for some dried up chicken and soggy waffles and then they tried to charge me for storing the leftovers in the fridge.

You pay 14 bucks for water and $25 for just store your thing in the fridge. Wtf?

Also the $15 k cups in the room is pretty ridiculous.

however was ATROCIOUS and considering that's where you go to get coffee because it's $15 a cup in the room, it's unacceptable.

If you need coffee or a refrigerator, be sure to ask before you book.

Shower would not hold water temperature (two years in a row), very expensive, no refrigerator or microwave, view sucked (airport and glittery McDonalds sign).

We plan to return with our children over the summer in hopes to use the pools and services.

Beach pool closed for season which is the only resort feature of this property.

I hung out at in the pool area and it was great.

We can't wait to come back for a longer stay & use the pools!!

We chose this hotel as we thought the pool would be fun for their son.

but the aquarium is a must see especially if you are into sharks and the pools are the best in Vegas for kids

It is still clean, easy to navigate, and a great summer facility with all the pools.

My daughter was excited to take a pool dip for at least 30 minutes.

Loved the pools and the service there as well.

The amazing beach and pools were breathtaking.

Loved the cabana rental we had at the pool and would highly recommend that!

The pool area has a lazy river, wave pool, and a shallow area for the kiddos.
