We did the aquarium and petted stingrays.

but the aquarium is a must see especially if you are into sharks and the pools are the best in Vegas for kids

There was little in the way of kid friendly activity available, except for the aquarium to which you must purchase entry.

Our cousin got married in the aquarium and it was beautiful and so cool!

Amazing stay in the Mandalay Bay, more than a hotel, an great resort to spend a great time in Vegas between the water park, the restaurants, aquarium, shows, mall and casino.

Ones I stayed at Mandalay Bay it is the only hotel I saty at because it has it all from intertainment ,restaurants, aquarium, beautiful clean rooms, dance floor at the bar and much more.

Restaurants, pools, shopping, shows, aquarium, chapel and of course, many casino choices for all types.

The aquarium was a nice little break from walking down the strip.

There are plenty of choices for restaurants and the Michael Jackson show "One" is out of this world and the Aquarium is great.

They had a Shark Reef and an aquarium that was amazing.

The lazy river and the aquarium were favorite activities on the property.

Having an aquarium inside the building is a huge plus for the kids.

We were able to see Santana at Hard Rock, visit the Aquarium, and Michael Jackson Experience all in the same building.

If you have kids they will definitely enjoy as well as the aquarium reef in the hotel( reasonable pricing).

We had fun at aquarium, the restaurants and the overall in environment with helpful and pleasant staff.

Casino floor was clean, servers were consistent, housekeeping did a great job on cleaning the rooms, food was excellent and the High Limit Room had a great selection of machines.

Hotels claims they have no upgrades available so they don’t have to honor their deal with Amex, yet upgrades are actually available when booking through their online site.

Considering the amount they charge for the rooms, you shouldn’t expect these types of problems.

Don’t look in fridge you’ll be charged for touching.

Front desk refused to reverse the charges.

but no complimentary water or access to the refrigerator which was in the room because it was full and if we touch anything it will charged to us.

I've never been to a resort that states you can only buy items in the refrigerator and if you store your personal goods you will be charged.

Don't even give free coffee/tea in the rooms anymore & couldn't use the fidge or you'd get charged $50.

The main feature, the beach, was closed and under noisy/messy construction (sand blasting), yet the resort fee was fully charged.

I was promised by multiple managers that we would receive $300 off of the first nightly rate, removal of resort fees and a $100 dining credit.

They then said that they would credit is $200 per night for our trouble.

however, that charge was subsequently reversed.

You might get extra charged if you accidentally touch any of those overly priced items.

Rather than cater to customers already paying hundreds of dollars per night for them term, Mandalay Bay would like to charge you another $25 per visit to a separate gym!

You better off charging more somewhere else because mandalay bay is alot of price

After walking in and quickly walking out, making the LONG walk back to the lobby I was assigned another room and a "$50" credit that never showed up.

You have to use a key card to get to your floor

Gamble maybe 3000 each stay have the credit card still haven’t reached gold.

$27 bottles of water in room, $50 charge if you use the fridge.

After being warned not to touch the contents in the fridge or mini bar as the sensors would charge us with any movement, we started to feel this hotel is absurd and for what came to a $500 a night stay.

The fridge is an amenity we could not use then what is it for.

My only issue with the room was that the in-room refrigerator is solely there to store items FOR PURCHASE and not for the guests' convenience.

No complimentary coffee and a fridge that can be used for keeping your refreshments cold for an outrageous fee.

Don’t get tempted by the minibar bring your own beverages and snacks.

It was like a Joe Pesci mini fridge giving me the middle finger over chilled water.

Also, the mechanical sounds coming from the bathroom would have prevented us from sleeping had we not had a white noise maker.

While climbing over the trash,dirty bagged sheets and fridge to get into the door I knew it was a problem.

Guests would surely prefer a fridge rather than the crazy expensive mini bar!

Having all the snacks on the counter and minibar filled was not a good experience.

We then asked for a kettle and hot water as we didn’t realize how freezing Vegas at this time of year.

I paid 60 bucks for some dried up chicken and soggy waffles and then they tried to charge me for storing the leftovers in the fridge.

You pay 14 bucks for water and $25 for just store your thing in the fridge. Wtf?

Also the $15 k cups in the room is pretty ridiculous.

however was ATROCIOUS and considering that's where you go to get coffee because it's $15 a cup in the room, it's unacceptable.

If you need coffee or a refrigerator, be sure to ask before you book.

Shower would not hold water temperature (two years in a row), very expensive, no refrigerator or microwave, view sucked (airport and glittery McDonalds sign).

I hung out at in the pool area and it was great.

The pool area has a lazy river, wave pool, and a shallow area for the kiddos.

Pool area was nice, could use a few more chairs with shade.

Our vacations in Vegas center on a nice hotel with a good pool area and where are eating.

Very nice spacious hotel room overlooking the pool area, tons of shops, restaurants and bars in the hotel area and beautiful pool with lazy river and cabanas.

And the pool area is wonderful--so many options.

Check in was a breeze, room was very nice with a nice soaking tub and separate shower, very elegant, big room closets, easily accesible from your room is the pool area, it have a nice wave pool,lazy river,regular pool and jacuzzi, plenty of reataurant options, there is a walkway that connects to luxor and excalibur hotel or you can take the tram to those hotels as well, the casino floor is busy

He gave a pretty good description of the area and the different pools and amenities it has.

Pool area was large and made you feel like you were at a beach; yes there was sand, cabanas and umbrella chairs.

Casino was large and table minimums were too high even during the daytime.we loved the pool area

My daughter did love the pool area at least that was one plus out of the whole trip.

but their other resorts around them, so they charge you too much since you have no where else to go.

If you are not a guest or checkout and come back later for a show you paid for and there is a sport game they won’t let you valet or self park without being a still registered guest.

What happened to getting a little something go for the resort fee we pay.

No price break was offered and was told that was their policy.

paid parking sucks, room wifi didn't work for laptop, no more complimentary late check outs, even for 30mins extra,  resort fee used to pay one time for the entire duration, now you have to pay each stay at the hotel

Gambling tables are expensive, $25 minimums in black jack.

Also the drinks and food costs are absurd triple what they should be!

Checked in late Wed evening and my booked "stay healthy" room, King, which i paid a small extra fee for wasn't available,  instead I was given a,room with 2 queens.

Everything about it was overpriced, complex and underwhelming (except the weather!).

Hotel food and services are expensive for what you get.

Paid for early check in at 11am, didn't get our room until 7pm.

The fees were high (please be sure to plan on a $100 per day security deposit, that will be returned if no damages to rooms)

4/ The manager's refusal to reverse the no-show fee was impolite.

Their property, rooms and service are too run down to be “premium” and their prices are too high to be “value”.

The service remains excellent and they are continuing to add restaurants, entertainment, etc.

Great shows and wonderful restaurants are all located in this one hotel.

Great restaurant options that allowed us to not have difficulty finding affordable food and entertainment options.

Tram takes you to Luxor and Excalibur hotels for free, then T mobile  arena is just on the other side of New York New York hotel.

SportsBook is a good place just to sit and watch a game -- chairs are comfy.

The crowd in the lobby at night was rowdy too and we didn’t feel entirely safe after we returned from a show.

Long walk to other great hotels such as Bellagio, Caesars, Wynn, Circus Circus if you have kids.

Workers were very helpful & friendly, excellent restaurants to choose from inside the hotel and the Michael Jackson One show was outstanding!

It is a fun place to stay, close to the football stadium if you are going to a game there, and has multiple arenas.

Check in was quick and easy, the room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable and the concierge helped me with my ticket selection and purchase for the MJ One show.

I decided to stay for one night at Mandalay Bay, to see the Cirque de Soleil show.

Lots of good restaurants and entertainment.

Lots of bars with live entertainment and DJ’s.

Mainly booked here to see the Michael Jackson show here, which was GREAT!

I wouldn’t want to be here for pleasure unless i was going to the arena across the street.

A lot of great entertainment and experiences had.

The food, cleanliness, overall staff friendliness, assortment of games to play, entertainment and room quality were exceptional.

Fantastic selection of restaurants and lounges/bars with great entertainment.

They have you at the end of the strip with nothing

Stayed at Mandalay to be close to the action of the strip,

It is at the furthest end of the strip so keep that in mind if you plan to do exploring and don't have a rental car.

The strip restaurant and libertine social was fire   Delicious.

The location is at the end of the strip and across from Allegiante stadium, so driving around the resort can be challenging.

I would recommend Mandalay Bay over the other options on the strip.

We took the tram to Excalibur, walked over to New York then MGM and took the monorail everywhere on the strip so the location is wonderful and easy access.

Tram drops you off at Excalibur, which you can easily get to NYNY or MGM, where you can then take the monorail up the rest of the strip.

I just didn’t like the fact the hotel sits at the very end of the strip!

The hotel is one of the last one on the strip

You are at the end of the strip so far away from everything, and they don't have any middle tier restaurants,

but they aren’t keeping up with the Strip.

Not to mention it’s at the end of the strip…making it inconvenient to leave.

One of the cleanest and nicest places to stay on the strip.

Although it's at the end of the strip, it's only a few minutes from the airport and I would definitely stay again.

It was great to retreat here after a day or night on the strip.

Probably the best sports book on The Strip.

although it most south of the strip i love the location.

I liked the Volcano show and the fish aquarium in the check in lobby.

At check in, the host allowed my grandson to join her behind the dest to get an up close and personal view of the huge fish and aquarium!

The plants  was so awesome  and the fish aquarium  was out of this world.

The aquarium, especially, was a highlight.

From the aquarium behind the check-in desk to the iconic Volcano, it epitomizes Vegas.

Loved the lobby and aquarium behind the front desk.

Nice experience at a Vegas hotel, beginning with the aquarium and check-in.

I love the tropical island of the resort, from the lobby's aquarium tank behind the check in desk, to jungle oasis theme of the pool, and the exciting volcano show on the strip.

The Aquarium behind the check in desk is still there in all it's unique self, very nice.

My travel companions also enjoyed the volcano, lobby aquarium and indoor rain forest!

Quiet and relaxing no nut jobs at the casinos and pool, just me, nice staff , Josilyn n Elizabeth at front desk helped a lot, nice clean lobby , nice aquarium, older folks at the pool

Hotel was beautiful, loved the pool and aquarium.

My visit was for my daughter's wedding and I had an Awesome strip view, it was Awesomely clean, love the huge aquarium in the lobby.

Very good enjoyed my stay enjoyed the aquarium lovely pool.

Should have changed a 3rd time due to very noisy toilet.

Bathroom again was fine, withstood four of us,  did look a little tired.

While I saw some prior reviews saying the rooms were dated, I found our room to be nicely decorated, new tile in the bathroom.

When we used the shower, there was water all over the bathroom.

The problem when you stand the shower head is at chest level.

went up and showered in my friends room (long hot day on our motorcycles).

We had an issue flushing the toilet which may have been operator error.

Only problem I would day is the shower curtain is completely pointless and more than likely you will end up with a drenched bathroom floor.

Bathrooms have old shower curtain of which God knows how many people have touched and used it.

We had a great stay at The Mirage blighted only by an unfortunate leak and flood in our room on our last day.

Need higher toilets for disabled people, Ihated to use our bathroom due to how low the toilet was and my weak knees.

What's not so good: Bathrooms in the rooms are below standard for The Strip, and - for the first time - a beggar and another hustler both approached  me while I was on the casino floor.

The 1/2 star off is due to dirty glass restocked in bathroom upon arrival and tv didn’t work.

So much so, when you got in the shower you could see the black come off your feet.

I jumped up, grabbed a tissue, caught it and shoved it in a clear sandwich bag I’d used to hold a charging cord.

Had a mountain of towels in bathroom after days of asking for help.

!, I asked them to at least send me some dry towels and toilet paper up.

Unfortunately in the process I left my silk bathrobe on the back of the bathroom door.

but it close at 7 p.m. the bathroom is not too big.

Pros include a clean room and comfortable beds,

The rooms were good sized, comfortable, clean and well stocked with towels and countertop amenities.

The ladies are so lovely Elaine did and awesome job on my frizzy hair an Lisa Marie did the best gel (shellac) pedicure with paraffin and scrub treatment I have had in months, my toes look so beautiful and my feet and heels are baby soft.

Room was very clean, bathroom was spotless.

Next time we will choose a cleaner hotel.

The room was large, clean and comfortable with a very small, outdated bathroom.

but I doo like to enjoy a good shower standing up under the water 😊 The bed was comfy clean and well cleaned.

While housekeeping no doubt does their best, i dont think there is any amount of cleaning that can make these rooms feel clean.

The room was well appointed, clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The rooms were clean and we had a room on the 17th floor with views of the pool, roof, mountains and the strip.

The hotel was clean and service was very good.

Great location on the strip, fabulous clean pool (which is not obvious in Vegas!

The hotel was clean and we felt safe with security measures.

Suite was great, everything clean and fresh.

The property was beautiful and clean and the staff were very friendly.

Very comfortable beds, spacious room, very clean.

Mirage rooms were very clean and spacious, decor was meh.

Biggest issue you can’t use the fridge in the room as it’s weight sensitive so any left overs or beverages can’t go in there without being charged even if you used nothing from the minibar.

They did comp us 2 nights, waived resort fees for 4 nights, and gave us $200 food/beverage credit.

Likewise adding your own drink to fridge would result in a charge.

On day of departure tried to call the front desk  about a charge which was incorrect after 20 minutes gave up and stood in a queue for 15 minutes instead!

So, I just got a food credit for the incident that could have ended very badly and that definitely changed how I see hotel rooms now.

She gave us a $50 food and beverage credit which she certainly did not need to do

even though we had charged nothing to the room nor had any drinks.

This was a big disappointment to my family especially with the "resort fee" charge that guests are required to pay.

Purchased through Expedia, paid additional for $ 25 USD food and beverage credit per person per day seemed like a good deal.

Receptionist had promised a credit due to the inconvenience

No one is willing to help with the most basic things like - can I charge my phone somewhere after check out not to mention how terrible  security made me feel for asking to use the pool after when I didn’t have my key anymore despite showing the invoice.

Now in June we have been charged again for our stay with no explanation and no apologies.

DO NOT touch fridge or snacks or you will be charged (motion sensor).
