Get ready for lung cancer since restaurants are located around the casino, where SMOKING IS ALLOWED.

But I like the Resort a lot, including the casino and the Summerlin shopping area.

Overall, my stay at Red Rock Hotel and Casino was an absolute delight.

for a "2nd hand smoke" dining experience

Casino was very nice.

The entire resort from the casino, pool, restaurants, and rooms were extremely clean.

The Red Rock is a pretty cool casino located off of the strip.

The casino floor was large and had the latest games.

but great view of the red rock canyon.. We  had a double queen bed room and it is huge and clean.. casino is not as crowded as other casinos on the strip.

Hands-down, the best hotel and casino in the area.

The casino is located in the suburbs and looks impressive from the highway.

Inside is nice and offers a casino floor, regal cinema and bowling alley.

what a views , pretty  huge windows , very spacious , clean  and  the  bed are very comfortable with soft bedding , bathroom very  mordant not a hair or spots can find ,  I love the soaking tub , it is the strip from the strip , no crows  at all , maybe beginning  week day ,  fantastic place to stay ,  spacious Casino , lot of place to eat , I find  little smoke  ,  over all ,  the staff in Resort very friendly and helpful !

First class   casino resort with fine dining options, excellent service from all employees, and very clean and updated luxury suites.

Two not quite so positive comments:  getting my room cleaned several days between 4-5:30 pm was not optimum and the ‘coming soon’ messages all around the Casino got old (I am here now).

No fridge in room, and $15.00/day charge to receive one.

but for what they charge for their rooms they need to address dirty and worn rooms.

Additionally, my credit card was charged $363 for a prepaid room that we did not charge anything to.

I booked through a 3rd party so they added a 100$ nightly “security deposit” along w/the 400$ (50/night) resort fee to my credit card.

though the electronic tablets have lots more ‘cards’ I don’t feel it’s worth the $73. Price.

but they charged things to her account, that were for options she told them she would not cover!

It is quite frustrating to have to wander around and always have a key card in hand to utilize the elevators.

They say it charges if you remove it for >15 seconds

I was charged for an upgrade on a room for two nights in which I didn't stay in the room.

You can request one and they may or may not charge you for it depending on what it’s for (for kids food, no charge).

I have to also mention that they tried to make up for the cleanliness issue by giving us a $100 resort credit.

Their solution is a small credit towards the $600 rate they charged for the day.

No one offered a future room credit or to comp our room or anything.

I was strongly warned not to be late or skip the appointment, for there would be charges and penalties if I did.

When we called to get the tray removed they said there would be a $25 charge ( totally unexceptionable).

Red Rocks Resort front desk called me 2 weeks ago (end of June 2021, $8,800), stating the One80 Penthouse I paid for and booked is no longer available.

According to her, maintenance was supposed to be in charge

No more multiplier days for their points card unless you are local.

As far as I know, they do not charge for parking (another perk of an off-the-strip hotel) and it is easy to get to from inside the hotel.

We had the most incredible experience during our 7 days at the Red Rock Casino Resort.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Red Rock Casino and resort.

In town for  three  days business meeting in Sun City Summerlin   ,  Resort only 17 mines from the  airport , N. West of Vegas near Summerlin  , office check me into Red Rock Casino  and Resort ,  although it is away from the strip  , price almost  like any resort on the strip , about  800 rooms , free  shuttle to the airport  , the resort be around almost 16 years ,,

We eagerly anticipated our stay at Red Rock Casino.

Red Rock Casino has a new modern feel that also has a great ambiance with its red sandstone architecture that reflects nearby Red Rock Canyon.

I booked a room at the Red Rock Casino for New Year's Eve and purposely selected a room with a "Strip View".

I have stayed at Red Rock Casino over the years many times.

Just spent a great week at the Red Rock Casino.

Don't ask me why we chose to "getaway" from our strip apartment and head on out to Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa for a staycation,

Now, Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is everything that the name implies.

I enjoyed it enough that when I go back to Las Vegas I plan to spend time at Red Rock casino again.

I recently attended a Sales Meeting at the Red Rock Casino and stayed for four nights.

We had a very nice stay at Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas.

The air in the room smelled stale and like industrial chemicals.

-ROOMS were FILTHY..hair that was not mine in shower and on toilet seat.

The only part that I did not love is that you can smoke in the casino,

If you are sensitive to artificial or perfumed odors, it can be a problem.

The smell permeate everywhere including the non-smoking rooms.

but I found a way through it even though I detest smoke.

Like all Vegas casinos, you have to walk through the casino to get to any restaurants, and it reeked of cigarette smoke,

Only negative is some food stops are close to the casino floor and gets  some of the cigarette smoke.

but we walked through the area once and the smoke was hurting our eyes so we avoided the area.

We went back up to the room and it was mildly warm, i figured that maybe it just needed some more time, more marijuana smell entering my room.

As soon as we got into our room and turned the lights on, we noticed how filthy and dusty the room is.

However, this time our room had a sewer smell from the bathroom.

We chose to stay in a suite and my daughter pulled out the sofa couch and the sheets were not on the bed and the mattress had a huge urine stain on it.

Adding further insult and showing the craziness and double standards of the policies is the fact that cigarette smokers can actually sit at a slot machine inside the casino and smoke a cigarette- no mask!

.WAY more disappointing was the fact that even after at least 3 calls to the desk and or housekeeping,  after 2 days, still no one cleaned up the vomit in the ice  room down the hall!!

Today at 1 am at  Black Jack table ,The floor manger Jeff is a awful ,rude, very very bad attitude he get anger to customers and talk nasty words .

but the 10% that was smoking was negatively impacting the other 90%.

It is an older Boyd property with a fewer amenities.

Amenities here include a swimming pool(small), and a bowling alley.

However, on the first of a three day stay we called maintenance to unplug the shower.

But the smell of cigarettes everywhere was awful even if we have reserved a non smoking room , the cleaning was very doubtful: we have find a used toothbrush behind the hair dryer 🤢 So nope I definitely not recommend this hotel

But the sliding bathroom door was much smoother!

The carpet was so old and stained we didn’t dare walk around without our shoes on, there was mold growing in the shower and the mattress/box spring sagged and looked like they were going to fall off the bed frame.

First night there is wine stains and yellow stains on the mattress and floor, no door to the bathroom just a sliding thing that doesn’t even lock, we paid for smoking rooms for them to tell us that the rooms weren’t smoking!!!

Restroom at pool is also key card consisting of toilet with privacy wall, shower with curtain, sink, etc.

If you value any privacy whatsoever in the bathroom then you will have an issue with this.

THEY ALREADY WAIVED MY HOTEL FEES AFTER A PREVIOUS ISSUE THAT HAPPENED THE PRIOR DAY WITH CRAP STAINS UNDERNEATH THE TOILET NOT CLEANED BY THE MAIDS PRIOR TO US CHECKING IN.

The shower in the bathroom needs to be redesigned.

No fan in the bathroom so mirror would always get fogged up after a shower.

The bathroom would be my only other complaint the bathroom seemed to flood easily.

We reserved a Premium room, upon booking in we found out the only difference is the fact a non premium room has a shower, we had a bath!

Showers are a bad design and water goes all over the floor.

The casino was in full swing and smoky as all get out,

Even went to the bar at the back of the casino and was waited on right away with a smile!

My husband lost his wallet at this casino.

Parking does provide easy access to front desk and rooms so you don't have to go through the casino area.

Good place to stay with multiple restaurants inside the casino.

Pit Bosses pay attention at this casino and the dealers were great.

It worked well for that, and the room was nicely appointed and comfortable. It did have a pretty terrible view of the casino's rooftop satellite dishes and HVAC system

Was quiet and had large casino and great restaurants.

The restaurants in the casino were really great.

We saw very few winners in the casino itself.

I love most of the cocktail waitresses, unlike in other casinos they are actually out on the floor working hard.

The casino offers both table games and slots plus it has a good sized sports book.

some covered, and it is adjacent to the Palm Casino Resort and the Rio.

The bar in the middle of the casino makes great drinks and the videopoker machines actually have very good pay tables (9/5 JOB for .25).

It is definitely a casino for video poker players because that is the majority of games.

The casinos has tremendous Baccarat action and some of the area’s best Asian food.

however there was only a partial glass, not an actual door.

I wish they could just have a normal door on them!!

Today, a security guard bangs on my door demanded to do a room check.

however, the closet doors squeak so bad and loud, they would wake up anyone who was sleeping.

Was given the second floor---had a view some some type of apartment complex next door--no nig deal.

So all my dresses were hanging over doors.

If you didn't put on the do not disturb sign, maids knocked on your door at 8:30 or 9 am.

On one of the days an employee knocked on our door.

Please install proper doors, otherwise this will have been my first and last visit!

Only 3 devices can be connected to the internet WITH the resort fee (which covers internet)
Only a sliding door to the bathroom that doesn't fully close, and no lock.

Absence of proper live poker was disappointing, considering it is next door to the place where the World Series takes place!

The rooms are almost identical to the Orleans except we like the sliding bathroom door MUCH better at the Gold Coast versus the Orleans (hint hint Orleans).

Wish people were more considerate and didn't slam the gate doors when you're laying right next to them.

Then you realize there's a window in the bathroom and you need to close the pocket door in order to not have constant light in the room.

I could hear it upstairs and also outside of my door.

Funny thing, we ate the Red Rock Casino in Summerlin the night before at their buffet, ( which was good )

I mean no smoking in a hotel in Las Vegas like what the f*** did it get taken over by a bunch of goody two shoes, and when I lost my room key and tried to get another one the lady at the front desk basically told me to f*** myself because it was under my moms name and not mine and I’m like we have the same last name, and no buffet!!!

although it was a nonsmoking room, there was a persistent, faint cigarette smell.

When the air conditioner ran, it put out a dreadful smell. I think it's actually called "dirty sneaker syndrome."

but not a pleasant environment for us non smokers.

The casino and sports book is quite old fashioned with the usual smoke problem and could do with a re-design and better ventilation ( or ban smoking

The smell of marijuana was so strong we called to change rooms

My only complaint was the smell of smoke in the hallways near some rooms.

but once you got a table the smokey smell wasn't too noticeable.

but the cigarette smoke is thick and stale.

We got febreeze to try to mask the pungent smell to no help.

And the carpet in that room was absolutely filthy.

The coffee and stale Muffins in the Java area were not repeated.

While there is a casino, you can avoid it for the most part by walking outside through their beautiful gardens.

The steakhouse restaurant is delicious with good service.. review The casino is tired and the staff is not friendly.

We visited several casinos in the area and on the strip and this Marriott was one of the top smokiest.

I stayed at this property in the tower where the casino is located (palm?)

The casino and pool are decidedly second rate.

We stayed in the Palms tower 5th floor, great view and its away from the internal casino and smoke smell.

Now it is in the casino with a nice view of slot machines.

Short review:
This is a beautiful 50 acre property, with an amazing pool, walking paths, activities like beach volleyball and Cornhole, many restaurants, a spa and a casino.

Clean room, the pool is great, and the casino was so much fun.

I have stayed at this hotel probably about 50 times or more always give me the best service the best room available the front desk is very polite and courteous the rooms are always clean nice bedding that's probably why I stayed there a lot not too far from the strip not to close nice Casino in it too

I asked about this at check-in and they gave us a room in the other tower, away from the casino.

Casino area isn’t crowded which is so nice.

We ate all breakfasts at the 24 Hour restaurant next to the casino.

They did not make any attempts at calling or emailing us prior to removing all of our personal belongings from our hotel room.

They didn't and phone calls have been a run around and they keep thinking I am expecting an inbound package.

I stayed at this hotel about 2 weeks ago I was really hoping to get a response from the hotel and since no one returned my calls I felt compelled to write this review.

I’ve made multiple phone calls to the get the billing error resolved to the Spa Manager with no return call.

My 9pm my calls to management were very politely ignored ("maybe it will end at 11pm?").

Surprised that Marriott would allow them to call it a "JW".

So after calling they emailed me the folio which was full of mistakes.

They literally stopped picking up the phone!

Getting a cab js Impossible unless you call a company yourself.

Examples: 
* on most occasions, NOBODY answers the phone at the front desk when you call.

I did call to complain and when we left there was extra coffee in a bag on the door.

Despite reserving by phone and then confirming the rate verbally with front desk staff at check in we were ultimately charged significantly more for the rooms than we were quoted.

I confirmed that over the phone when I booked.

though the TV set was small and the phone and sink stopper showed wear.

While both wife and children were taking a nap and resting, the sound of a doorbell ringing at 2 pm on July 5 rattled the rest of the family.

Despite calling reception no action appeared to be taken

The TV and the phone in my room were broken.

The Red Rock casino is 8 min away, the Strip 15+ minutes.

No disclosure of fire alarms being intentionally set to go off for 2 days, dirty showers filled with mold, broken balcony door, ooey-gooey sticky sofas, absent maid service, room left with soiled towels and glasses, ty.

The bad: Casino reeks of smoke. Terrible.

Most of the casino here is “ smoking” so the whole place stinks.

The casino area was almost unbreathable due to the smoke because the filtration system is barely existent.

The entire casino smells of cigarettes and you have to walk through it to get to any of the food or drink establishments.

The property smelled awful all 3 days musty/unclean smell inside the hotel made it tough to get rest.

2 bedroom suite, noisy highway, soiled sheets, dirty curtains, wear on furniture.

You can awake to the last guests cups of cigarette

It’s rooms and common area’s are dated and it smells like smoke in some area’s.

The towels stink and so does the suite that we are in.

You could smell cigarette smoke in the non-smoking areas like the hotel lobby and hallways.

I echo many of the negative comments already stated: restrictive pool hours (insane if you ask me, as Las Vegas is so hot after 10), mediocre food offerings, filthy pool lounge chairs, lack of umbrellas at the pool, dirty corners of the room, complete lack of customer service.

Aqua spa’s main feature “The pool” was not warm and non functional 

The main hotel pool is only half open and only open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm no evening dip in pool

Lounge chairs were stained with other guess sweat and suntan lotion and were commonly dotted with bird poop
Drinks alittle expensive $17+ tip for mixed drinks
Pool side cabanas alittle pricey at $275 per day.

The pool was frequently out of towels, and the pool deck was filthy (more goose feces).

The casino is just the right size, and staff is polite and eager to help.

The casino was so Smokey I gave up playing at 10:00pm and went to my room.

The casino was clean, with nice space around the slot machines.

The Staff at this Boyd casino are great, very helpful and amazingly remember their guests.

Excellent view of the golf course, Small pool, no jacuzzi, exercise room, casino, movie theatre, bowling alley, no buffet, multiple restaurants, valet parking,, self parking, Safe, refrig, coffee maker in room.
