The bathroom sink is not enclosed by the bathroom door.

Bathroom was small and when flushing the toilet, it whistled until the tank filled up.

Room was dark with see thru wooden blinds and lots of mold in shower.

however the bathroom light was a little lacking.

You could always hear the noise from the nearby airport (if you close the window, then the sound of A/C becomes a new problem), and the water pump when others having showers.

The venting system in the bathroom is not blocking it so we had to keep ours on for most of the time we were in the room to prevent the smell.

To our surprise we were given the worst hotel room we have ever had, the bathroom was extremely dirty and old.

Only little thing was shower didnt drain properly, so taking 1 star off thus time.

Linens were taken and not replaced; the tub/shower and sink were never cleaned during our stay, except by ourselves.

The first day we checked in it took 20 minutes for the shower to turn hot.

Only negative was that we saw a few ants around our sink.

1) Full rack of BBQ ribs (I think it was $16)
       2) Half rack of BBQ ribs (about $14)
       3) Full BBQ chicken (about $14)
       4) Half a BBQ chicken (about $12)

We have stayed at many hotels in Las Vegas, from low end to very expensive.

We only had one problem with the toilet overflowing when we first got to our room

but you couldn’t close the bathroom door if you were sitting on the toilet

We had a very slow (or partially clogged) tub drain

In the morning shower drain was plugged, so by the time wife finished showering tub was near full, I called front desk to advise, they said someone would come.

but had the sink clogged asked the front desk if I can switch rooms or get fixed said they would send maintenance but no one showed up.

We LOVED the restaurants at the casino next door as well (The Front Yard, Village Pub & Cafe, and Via Focaccia were all great, we didn't try the BBQ or pizza).

The casino connected to the hotel had tight slots as well.

Villa Pizza at the casino is great as well as the Village Pub.

The cafe in the casino next door is one of my favorite places in Vegas to eat.

Room was nice, casino and restaurants on the property.

The casino has the best dealers and best odds in gambling in town.

Staff throughout the facility, (casino, hotel, restaurants)  are all very friendly and helpful.

It is located right behind Baleys Hotel and Casino it's about a 15 minute walk to the strip.

There's a casino too on site for those interested.

the brewery and casino are on the property and playing cards or slots is great for the infrequent gambler.

The casino had a warm atmosphere with friendly dealers at the tables.

The casino was fun - all the requisite gaming, with some fast food venues, a cafe offering nice meals and a grander barbeque restaurant.

food was good in the casino, staff was friendly and courteous.

Casino, large parking friendly staff, familt owned had a realy good stay here free to use safe i the room is a winner.

We would definitely come back here and even if we didn’t stay at the hotel, we would come back to the casino for sure!

Very close to strip. Verdict.

After double paying and then inserting my card for the security deposit, i was told their terminal usually rejects bank of america cards and it did.

First thing, the hotel charged my card twice.Upon check in, I alerted them that they charged me twice

It ain't a resort (and it's RIDICULOUS that they charge a resort fee,

They refused to move us without charging us a $75 upgrade fee.

But there is an additional charge for early check-in due to our POLICY.“ Ok!

I was told that there would be no charge and we could pay at the hotel,

When checking in they cancelled my reservation with hotels.com when there was nothing wrong with it ..then charged $80. More.

Ellis Island charged me less for the room than the resort fee which is a joke as my pool is 2x larger than theirs!

The coupon they gave me at checking-in was only $3 off of breakfast they serve at the hotel. It took me by surprise that I was charged a mandatory $20 resort fee

I do wish they would have told me the incidentals charge was $100,

The main problem is with their key card system.

The room was not cheap, we paid $ 142.09 for one night and to top it off we were charged $20 resort fee for that night.

When i woke up, i saw two transactions on my credit card with amount of around 1600 $ total.

Since I only possess one card, this presented a problem.

I was told some excuse  about how they had not authorized my card earlier.

They need to update hotel booking sites to match how much they will actually charge.

Only issue was you have to have a door card to enter from outside doors and a separate one for the room door; most have one key that will do both so it was inconvenient to keep up with both.

$15.99 if you walk over and get a players card.

Car was broken into and his wallet, belongings stolen.All ID, bank, credit cards, cell phone, personal items stolen  and used.

Get in the $15 Uber and am upset I am told I have to go on line to cxl other room by 6pm or they would charge me.

The room & property was clean, staff was all super friendly, check in & check out was easy, the beds were comfy, ac worked good, tv was easy to use, coffee maker in the room was helpful, received two bottles of water every day, elevator was quick, pool area is small,

The hotel staff was friendly & helpful - they printed my boarding pass.

In my subsequent stays, the staff has always been friendly and very helpful with any questions or requests I've had.

I was fully expecting a quick, friendly, budget stay.

but we had a great time here the dealers were friendly and helpful giving it a nice atmosphere!

That said, staff was amazingly helpful and friendly and their micro-brewed beer was delicious.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the location is good, easy walk to The Strip which is ideal.

The food was ok and the staff were super friendly.

But if you want a simple, clean hotel that is located in the middle of the strip, you can't  beat this place.

This is a great location if you are looking for a cheaper stay in Vagas.

Ellis Island Hotel is strategically located within walking distance of The Strip and comes at a very reasonable tariff mid-week (though tariff is sharply higher over weekends).

Location is good (15 minute walk to the strip) and very close to a fuel station and 7-Eleven.

The location is 2 blocks off the strip which is convenient.

Location-- off the strip , about a10/15 minute walk.

the location is perfect you can walk to the strip and walking distance to the tram.

I have stayed over at Ellis numors times since early 90s and for the price and location it has in my opinion always been good value for the money.

wouldnt recommend the location for people visiting vegas for the first time.

If price is your main deciding factor, the price is right here. Location?

Great location to easily walk to the middle of the Strip were all the entertainment is.

If you want to save a few bucks and great great value and location, try this place.

Nice deal and it went great with Metro Pizza which was located in the casino.

The location is very good, right behind the Planet Hollywood casino.

The food is inexpensive and good for the price.

The room includes a safe, refrigerator, coffee machine, free parking and a discount at some of the hotel's restaurants.

The meal was really nice and with a litre of house wine was well worth the visit.

The restaurant had very reasonable food which was tasty and $2.50 micro brews.

I dined at all three on-site restaurants and found the level of service consistently high  -  seriously, i have only good things to say about the staff here.

Food in the pub or front porch is very good.

The hotel cafe had great affordable breakfast.

Some good restaurants and a brewery on site.

The bar and the food where very good, they also have their own brewery with a very good beer and a very nice terrace.

We had really good steak dinners at a great price.

Probably happens here often with how disgusting it is.

Tile floors so the smoke smell isn't as bad as the casinos that have carpet.

I'm not blowing smoke up your rear end. .

Now the bad part: Corridors are dirty and smelly.

A cigarette burn in the blanket on the bed.

It is an old place though, and the hallways have a smell.

Totally unacceptable that we had to stay in such a disgusting room because we did have another already paid reservation that we had to come back a week later and we got a totally different room, one of the renovated ones, very nice one.

If the cleaning staff was actually cleaning this tub/shower, it would have been obvious to them that there was a serious drainage problem etc. ..MANAGEMENT!!!

however, the cigarettes smoke is disturbing and the clothes get stinky in half an hour there.

Smelled smoke coming from room next to mine.

Huge carpet stains, carpet actually missing in one area, strong pervasive odor at hallway side of room, all electrical unplugged, white drywall patches on walls, strange mix of new and very old furniture.

but I would not recommend the hotel as it was date and the room/hallway had a musty odour.

However my sisters room on the 2nd floor looked like it was built in the seventies with awful colored walls, a musty smell, and an awful green peeling bath tub lol.

.we waited finally I plunged by pulling up and pushing down drain plug..Then coffee pot didn't work, went to front desk and advised them.

However it was difficult to enjoy as you keep smelling cigarrete smoke ALL THE TIME.

The strip and monorail are within walking distance.

Staff was all nice and accommodating , a short walk from the strip.

This is my newest go to place to eat while staying on the strip.

If you're like me and have geezerly feet and knees, everything on the strip is a short and cheap Lyft ride away.

It was great to find a $5 minimum bet table rather than the $50 minimum bet on the Strip.

We were in town for a conference 3 miles away, also on the outskirts of the strip.

Had three nights here, very pleasant and highly recommended for avoiding the extortion that is the strip.

The positives of the hotel were:

- free car parking
- 20 mins walk from the strip 

I think for the service offered we overpaid and we are not going to stay at Ellis again.

but we have been told the food is really good and well priced, we went at night to the bar, it's karaoke most nights I think, the atmosphere was great, lots of people enjoying themselves and having a good sing along, drinks are soooo much cheaper than the strip.

even though it was off the strip, the strip was only a street over!

The cafe in Ellis Island Casino, the Village Pub is the best place for a delicious, cheap breakfast near the strip.

Ideal for a short stay (one or two nights) Close to the Strip by walk.

Rooms are ok, pool is ok, and really close to the strip, like between 5 and 10 minutes walking.

Ellis Island was actually better than the one very near them on the Strip I stayed at.

It is pretty close to the strip (Line and Caesar's are a 15 min walk, which is lesser than some hotels actually on the strip).

but close enough to the strip that we had no issues in doing everything we wanted.

The location is decent on Koval, about two blocks walking distance behind the strip.

This is a nice value based property and it’s close to the Strip.

however with it being so close to the strip , it’s ideal for a place to just sleep at night as the beds were comfy and the room was clean.

The motel is clean, reasonable and has pleasant helpful employees.. Close to the Strip  with plenty of free parking.

They give a warm, comfy welcome, very helpful and the location is perfect, very close to the strip.

+ Ellis is conveniently located near the strip, just 5-10 minutes walk to arrive Bellagio/Caesar's Palace.

For a hotel pretty close to the strip, you can't go wrong.

Great price for us and it's in walking distance to the strip.

Location is within walking distance of the strip and the monorail station, and of TopGolf.

Hotel was very convenient/walking distance to the Strip.

The location being right across from the Bellagio fountains is excellent, and all the Caeser's hotels are withing walking distance if you want to gamble at other casinos with your Caeser's Rewards points card.

They have construction going on inside the casino lobby.

People not as friendly, from front desk staff to people around the casino, etc.

From there you will enter the casino level and go to the center of the casino and take the escalator downstairs to check in.

The casino area and restrooms on the casino  floor were very clean.

Eventually we gave up with the hotel and took ourselves to different casinos where in every other hotel we were treated as valued customers.

Thw casino is large with a variety of machines and tables.

Don’t gamble, so can’t say much about the casino.

In fairness, this experience is a common denominator in any of these hotel casinos.

The casino does have a few bars you can go to and order drinks ,

Planet Hollywood is our favourite casino and as always we had lots of fun in the casino

The room was clean and hotel and casino were great, and the location was PERFECT!

BTW, this was one of the smokiest casinos on the strip.

I’m here for a convention and as much as we want to enjoy the gambling casinos and fun stuff we also like it to have the basics of a 
hotel.

The casino has lots of slots and tables available.

The hotel casino is exactly what you'd expect it to be, loads of slot machines and tables with the minimum bet on most of them being $15/20.

This is the second time that I stay there and get back home with a quite intense respiratory allergy, I didn't feel the same at other neighbor casinos like Paris and Cosmo,

Then there was the roving casino wait staff each night.

The casino is stunning and the rooms are so beautiful.

Miracle mile shops are connected to the hotel so that's handy.

The hotel is centrally located on the strip with a large connected shopping mall and a Walgreens and CVS within walking distance.

- The hotel is connected to The Miracle Mile shopping center, lots of stores and restaurants as well as an ABC Store, pretty much a one stop shop, from snacks, beer, wine etc.

We had a car, we parked at the PH Garage that is connected with the shopping center and hotels.

We enjoyed the shops and restaurants connected to the hotel.

I'm apart of Caesars rewards and Planet Hollywood has been my go-to Las Vegas hotel for a long time now (even when it was the old Aladdin hotel, loved it) because it had a younger vibe, great music, fun entertainment, nice hip rooms, great casino floor, connected to the Miracle Mile Mall, and great location in the heart of the strip.

Planet Hollywood is in a center strip location, and it is connected to the Miracle Mile shops, where there are many other great places to eat and shop.

Connected to the Miracle Mile shops so there is so much to do without even leaving the hotel!

Connected to the mall, easy to get to the strip, great restaurants, and the casino was amazing!!!

Loved that the miracle mile shops were connected to the hotel.

Good drink and food prices can be found here, and it is easily accessible due to being connected on several sides to the casino floor.

The pros of this hotel are as follows:

but PH still is the absolute best for convenience and accessibility, being connected to the Miracle Mile shops and everything.

Great bonus being connected to Miracle Mile shops and extra places to eat.

I always loved their center strip location, connected to the Miracle Mile Shops for access to food and diversion.

If you’re interested in shopping, the Miracle Mile shops are connected to the property.

Planet Hollywood is connected to the Miracle Mile Shops and restaurants, the Elara Hotel, and just steps away to everything we could need, on the strip and all the iconic Hotels and casinos.

Called help desk and was connected to a 3rd party outside USA.

I connected to the Wi-Fi as a guest after I settled in, and all three days, every time I would pick up my phone the Wi-Fi has kicked me off and I had one bar in that room the entire stay.

My experience has always been fun and exciting.

Friendly, hard working waitresses in the casino and fun atmosphere.

This trip I booked two nights at the end of my stay because of the location and I do like the overall fun vibe of Planet Hollywood.

Our stay was pleasant and the atmosphere was fun and safe.

The casino area is so UPBEAT and funky fun!

The decor had a fresh and fun vibe and the staff was very courteous and helpful.

They have a fun vibe, ridiculously loud music, and pretty good cocktail service.

The casino is easy to navigate thru - casino  is a fun atmosphere and the mall is attached next door.

Nice and fun vibe with cool and modern music playing at the casino area.

however just increased the fun atmosphere they have .

Casino staff is courteous, slots are generally looser that other strip casinos and the music pumped thru the casino adds to the fun atmosphere.

Really great place center strip and fun atmosphere .we had 5 nights of fun gambling and shows and a great place to people watch did really well playing blackjack not to much on the slots
