 - Housekeeping never showed up until we had to call at 6pm asking for room cleaning.
 - Rooms were not cleaned when we got into them either.
 - This wetness was not just a carpet cleaning
 - And it took three calls to housekeeping to get new towels.

 - We enjoy the smoke-free Park MGM casino.
 - but the connected park MGM pool was a great alternative.
 - Park mgm Pool was amazing.

 - It was very quiet and away from the busyness of the strip.
 - This suite also had the large jacuzzi tub, which is wonderful for a soak, with a glass of wine, after a day of walking the Strip.
 - but did see other hotels & lights on the Strip, especially a view to the Eiffel Tower at Paris & the Bellagio fountain shows… day & night!
 - The Elara is an amazing facility, well maintained, knowledgeable staff, and close to the strip without the noise of a casino.
 - The fact that the Elara has no gaming rooms is a bonus as it gives the senses a rest after the Strip.

 - Excellent hôtel close enough to the Strip to enjoy LV, and far enough to spend a quiet stay.
 - but in a clean and quiet part of Vegas.

 - Hotel provides free shuttle to the strip or it is a short Uber away.
 - Great location, right across the freeway from the strip, a half a mile walk to Excalibur, and New York, New York.

 - The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower and brightly lit as well.
 - And all the standard fitness, breakfast and pool amenities.
 - We were there for a multi-day family funeral so it was exhausting and emotionally draining so it helped tremendously to feel welcomed each time we returned to our clean, spacious room.
 - Great service, amenities, and the room was amazing.
 - The hot shower was fantastic!

 - There's no safe in the room, which struck me as odd and rather annoying.
 - They still need in room safes.

 - Check in lines are extremely long with few employees to help.
 - The only reason we stayed the one night is because it was already three in the morning and I was so tired and didn’t want to wait in line anywhere else to check in after having to wait almost an hour in line to check in at the Rio
 - Automatic system for checking did not work.
 - RESORT FEE WARNING: The price you pay to reserve online is NOT the price you pay at check-in for the old and worn-out Rio.
 - The slowest checkout ever (We have traveled all around the world) Connecting room so you can listen to your neighbour's , no sound isolation.

 - The service desk was very quick to send up soap, TP, towels, and other supplies as we requested them and they were very friendly and courteous.
 - The room, especially the shower, was one of the best we’ve had out of all the hotels we’ve stayed at for the price we paid.
 - The rooms and bathrooms are huge
 - Bathroom OK. Wi-Fi adequate.
 - Staff were lovely, fresh towels every day and the rooms have everything you need (hairdryer, fridge, tv).

 - Did not like our room carpets were stained and torn, the service for valet was slow our room key was not functioning in about all the elevators because they had issues with there scanning.
 - We had a leak which soaked the carpet.
 - The carpet is stained and scary and I would not advise walking barefoot.
 - Smokey smelling carpets in hallway and room.

 - If you want to experience Vegas bit stay off the Strip, this is a solid choice.
 - Went for a six day stay at the Rio All Suites, listed as on the strip and it is NOT.
 - We walked down to the strip one night and caught a Lyft back and never attempted walking again.
 - The Rio Hotel is off the beaten path (not near the strip).
 - Maybe staying way off the strip is the answer. We walked through Gold Coast casino (because we went to eat outside the resort!)

 - The tacos were inedible.
 - I loved my view, the casino was fun, and there are many restaurants to choose from.
 - If it had a little more joints to eat and built up the Masquerade side again, then I would recommend it wholeheartedly.
 - Most restaurants were closed too.
 - Much of the bars and restaurants were closed.

 - Our room had a bed in it that was beyond used to the point that there was a huge sunk in hole on both sides of the matress.front desk made an error in billing when we checked In and charged our card days after with out notice of the need for correction.
 - Que to check in was between 2-3 hours.
 - We stood in line for an hour to get to the service desk for check-in and see why our room wasn't ready, and once we got to the front we were told that our king room had been given away and that a nearly $50 resort fee needed to be paid.
 - Due to check in at 4 pm did not get a room tell 8:30.
 - CHECK-IN/FIRST IMPRESSION: Check-in was a disaster zone.
