 - Oasis at Gold Spike Las Vegas Good 818235588 Good everything from the time we arrived and it's our first time an we will be back thanks Gold spike for the great stay yall provided me and my boyfriend.
 - Was checked in by casiana, she was so friendly and sweet!
 - I called before arrival and she gave me the parking info I needed and got me oriented upon arrival.
 - She checked me in and made sure me and my daughter used all of the amenities.

 - Now comes 8am, a random stranger bangs on the door looking for “Greg” which was not there.
 - Check in early, go to room 5 flights up open door and room hasn’t been cleaned, go 5 flights down.
 - Our TV had no sound and all of the cords and plugs hanging from down the wall, the blinds did not close properly so it let too much light in, and the dresser doors did not close all the way.
 - Horrible experience from the moment I walked in door.

 - The air conditioning sounds like there's a monster coming out of the vent.
 - The place is a bit noisy
 - but FYI, We could hear it too.
 - Just far enough from Fremont to avoid the insane noise while still 100% feeling like a fun hotel.
 - The room was clean, to much extra decor, it was noisy a lot of people walking passed and making noises all night housekeeping never came to clean my room and I stayed there for 2 days never got the $100 deposit back either

 - Construction woke us up at 430 am.
 - My Fiancé was so scared to shower that she had to take a birdie bath because it was dirty and she didn’t feel safe to sleep if we were exhausted as we were we would have checked out that same day we checked in.
 - It did make it tough to sleep,
 - We were there for a quick over night stay, so we only needed a place to sleep.
 - I booked 2 nights and on the first night I wasnt able to sleep because of the club downstairs with music blaring till 4am in the morning.

 - We stayed in October to see the Marc Anthony concert and I was completely happy and impressed with the new hotel.
 - We were going to Phish concert at MGM Grand Arena and it is a 10 minute walk.
 - Close Enough Walk to the MGM Grand for Concerts.
 - My 16 year old daughter and I stayed at the Park to attend the Lady Gaga Concert at the Park Theater.
 - I tried the Spa and enjoyed the Park Theater for a couple of Jonas Brothers concerts.

 - No coffee maker and the Starbucks line was over an hour so the ½ mile (verified) walk to Eatily seemed logical

 - The room is okay, no fridge or any goodies to keep me in there for more than freshening up and sleeping.

 - The hotel is near almost everything on the strip and your room will give you a great view of it!
 - Spent The Weeknd in Vegas for both hockey and football games and it’s the perfect spot on the strip for quick easy access to both venues.
 - Great place to stay, right off the strip and easy to get in and out.

 - Resort was very clean, and having a non-smoking casino was a plus.
 - Love the no smoking hotel and casino.
 - ABC store is right across the street, T-Mobile Arena is right next door and you're in the middle of 4 MGM casinos.

 - When we checked in the staff was very unfriendly.
 - Check in - hands off type of hotel everything is through the app or on a pad in the lobby.

 - We were woken up at 5:00 by smoke/smell of marijuana by the people in the room next to us.
 - Minor issues with very loud neighbors as many of the rooms are connecting so you can hear a lot.
 - however we were given a room as far away as possible from the elevators, a room as noisy as possible facing the T-Mobile Arena & all of its noise.
 - We stayed Nov 11-13 and the air conditioner sounded like an airplane every time it kicked on every 15 minutes or so.
 - but 3, 4, 5 in the morning you can still hear the music!

 - A block from the main area which was nice.
 - however they have some great restaurants and you ate only a block off Fremont with table games galore.
 - The Downtown Grand was a block from the Fremont Street Experience.
 - Really just one block from the Grand's casino entrance to Fremont street.
 - This is the best value for money in Sin City, simply because the hotel is one block off Fremont Street, and people are generally unaware it exists.

 - The Mob Museum is right behind it with a cool speakeasy.
 - We love the pool. We love that it’s walking distance to Fremont Street, Container Park, the Mob Museum (okay, let’s be honest, the Speakeasy.)

 - Check-In took far longer than expected.
 - She explained everything about the hotel during check-in.
 - The thing was I stayed that night there and said my concerns again to front desk and when I checked out so really they were just apologizing to apologize.

 - As in loud enough to hear in your hotel room like the neighboring room is having a party.
 - but did not hear from anyone until 3 days later after emailing them about my experience to which they said sorry if we knew about it earlier we would of looked into it.

 - The hallway is amazing, they got that right too bad you cannot sleep in the hallway.
 - When we woke up the first morning, there was a dirty sock in our sheets, that wasn't ours.
 - They had several complaints and moved me to a interior room on the same floor and told me they would remove the resort fee, the noise was still so bad we didn't sleep.
 - i did not get any restful sleep the time i was there.

 - but the rooms are more for sleeping and showering.
 - Stained bathroom walls.

 - I couldn't even use the bathroom because the toilet didn't flush properly and the sink was clogged too.

 - motel-type pool across the street, miniature golf is an enclosed smoking area that was probably where the pool was when it was a motel.
 - The smell and the stains on the bed covers were disgusting.
 - And air-conditioning is working in the courtyard was super noisy at night if you like the smell of urine and are OK with staying in a really cheap place, the downtowner is for you.
 - Every morning housekeeping would wait to check on my needs until they saw me come out for my morning coffee and smoke rather than bothering me before I was awake.

 - but they do slide around a little bit (platform bed) and AC was loud, that’s the only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars, otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

 - Only issue was the fan in our room was quite loud you could turn it off

 - It’s one unit that controls the entire building and you can only control how hard the fan blows.
