Plenty of places to eat, the bowling center, movie theater, show room, arcade and of course the casino.

They hold a lot of sports events in the bars to draw people in.

They have a large facility, plenty of free parking, loads of good value food outlets, an excellent sports book, poker area and slot machine selection, and the rooms are always fairly priced.

Cheapest hotdog  deals, plenty of extra activities for a variety of group types.

With 11 restaurants, a bowling alley and multiple entertainment options, it’s a city in a city.

Must go if you have under 21 as there is large theatre and game area.

I like the demographic… you have the older crowd activities ( like bowling leagues and equestrian shows)

We were there because I was bowling in a tournament and were pleased with our stay.

Lots  of nice places to eat inside, along with movie theaters and bowling and casino games .

We stayed here because of the convenience for the bowling tournaments.

Bell desk is adamant that they won’t drag our bowling balls up to the lanes-  if I’m willing to give them $20, they should be.

it gets better with every visit, I love the bowling alley, since I’m on a league.

The rooms are big and the amenities are really fun - bowling lanes are a great feature!

Our flight home was cancelled and Allegiant Airlines provided overnight accommodations at the South Point Hotel and Casino.

In early 2022 the coupon book had a lot of free drinks in different places.

While the in-house restaurants are pricey, they are no more so than anywhere else in Vegas, plus you get a coupon book at check-in with some nice freebees.

They give you a coupon book at check in and we got a buffet- that was great for 2 for $10.

The staff was pleasant and explained the aspects of the package and I received 2 coupon books good for food and gift shop discounts and multiple free drinks.

The bowling alley and movie theater were great again for a snack in coupon book is a free popcorn don’t have to see a movie to get it.

They gave us two coupon books to use around the resort during our stay and they amounted to a nice savings on food and beverage.

The coupon book that we were given upon arrival was a welcome surprised.

It was a nice touch to get a coupon book at check in for 1/2 price off the buffet along with many other savings.

You always get a complimentary coupon book upon arrival and if you don't already have their Players card (for use at the casino) you can request one when checking in.

but their coupon book had discounts for a rather plentiful and tasty breakfast.

They also offer a discount if you book through the bowling tournament website.

The coupon books were also good - free drinks, food or discounts at gift shop or bingo.

When we checked in they gave us a free coupon book, which helped for discounts at restaurants there etc.

The Italian being our favorite .We used a coupon book they gave us a check in and enjoyed complimentary wine in both the Italian restaurant and the and steak restaurant .I was fortunate the weather was very nice for January at almost 70° and was able to sit and wait by the pool .

They give coupon books for each guest and it has a 50% off coupon, so when applied the weekday buffet was only 4 bucks.

The best deal is in the coupon book you receive at Check-In.

I stayed there for easy access to the conference, and the discount we got for booking there.

Other than that, the bed is comfortable, it's relatively quiet, the parking is free, and there's a Starbucks in the lobby.

There is ample free parking and it is well connected to get around whether that's to the strip or out to some of the national parks.

Check in was easy, and free parking in large lots.

There were many things we liked such as the ample free parking and larger rooms that were decently appointed.

I like how the resort fee is lower than most, parking is free and its fun to have some much to do on a whim.

The restaurants are as good or better than a lot of the other "strip" hotels and the casino has a relaxed feel along with free parking this this hotel and casino has everything you need for a great stay

It is a very clean place with very friendly staff, free parking, many nice restaurants, cool things to do and reasonable prices.

Parking is free at the hotel and it is a crapshoot (pun intended) when it comes to renting a car.

Another key part is that they offer free parking.

There’s the bowling alley and a huge movie theaters that stays open late.

You have a choice of 11 different dining options, as well as a multiplex theater and bowling alley.

Large hotel at the southern end of Las Vegas Blvd with all the amenities including a movie theater.

Starbucks, ice cream shop, sushi, Mexican food, steak house, Steak n Shake, diner, theater for movies, bowling gambling of all kinds and equestrian rodeo field.

Another great part of the hotel is the Cinemark Movie Theatre.

They have everything nice uncriwded  mostly pool  even a theatre and bowling alley.

They have a movie theater, a steak and shake, tons of reasonably price restaurants.

There is a cinema there and also 10 pin bowling.

I can’t say enough about this hotel not only did they have bowling and movies

There are 6 in-house eateries, ranging from all-you-eat buffet style to more fashionable restaurants.

We explored the hotel amenities (bowling alley, equestrian area) without partaking, and they were hopping!

Casino is huge and so many nice places to eat inside.

Southpoint has great lighting, a really really good buffet which is important after covid and they have other great restaurants inside as well as one of the only few steak &shakes around.

There are lots of restaurants of different £-£££ depending on what you're looking for.

No waiting and plenty of food at the stations.

And the Steak n Shake there was so much better than the one back home!

However, the rooms are large, the staff is friendly, the meals in every resturant are affordable (find out about the 7 dollar steak deal) and they have something for everyone.

The 11 options for restaurants satisfied any craving I had.

Our room was large enough with vinyl flooring which we believe is much better than carpet.

Upon entry, the room was bigger than expected.

Situated south of the strip, the hotel offers spacious, quiet, comfortable rooms and beds.

Our room was a Premium View King, and it was lovely.

The premium king was a good size room, wood floors, free slippers. Clean.

It has pretty decent rooms, pretty much vegas standard at the very least.

The cigarette smoke in the casino was not too awful.

The casino, I cannot believe Vegas allows smoking indoors.

However, in typical Vegas fashion, you must cross through the casino (where smoking, vaping, etc is allowed) to get to the elevators.

Smoke and dust just everywher in the air.

The only negative we could find was the second hand smoke mentioned in other reviews.

but we never stunk of smoke on our clothes as we had in previous years.

Have some empathy and respect for the animals you parade around and force to be shown. Disgusting.

but with some caveats to non smoking non gambling folks.

a lot of the complaints on these reviews have been fixed since the reviewer stayed at the hotel
1. there is no more overwhelming smoke clouds in the casino, it no more smokey then anyother vegas hotel, they must have upgraded their vents
2. i used a debit card for my deposit on the room and got the money back in 5 days without me having to call in.

The smell of cigarette smoke was too overpowering to spend anymore than a moment or two in the casino.

but the casino appeared to be nice as well--no hint of cigarette smoke.

The stink is omnipresent and nowhere on the casino floor can you escape it.

Cons:  Elevator floors were filthy
Cons: slots were not very loose.

For horse lovers, the hotel has a huge area and stadium seating and hosts completions and horse shows there.

Lots of things to do, swim, gym, casino games, sports book, 11 restaurants, movie theater with luxury stadium seating, bowling, bingo, equestrian arena and 7 bars!

High chances of coming back due to bowling tournements at the stadium.

The movie theater is $5.25 on Tuesday, the bowling lanes are reasonable and they have a rodeo  stadium.

Had easy access to go to the game on Sunday by walking over the bridge to the stadium plus good slots to play! !

The only great part was,  we were able to walk to allegiant on game day!

I’d recommend more activities to do inside or atleast have a restaurant that closes later than 10pm

This property and it's location provided many opportunities for Family activities for all ages!

We stayed at theLuxor hotel, which is near Allegiant Stadium, for an NFL game.

Went to the Pbr bull riding championship had the best time ever it was close to walk to the t mobile.

We got the hotel for a really reasonable rate compared to other venues, and the hotel itself is incredible to look at.

we like the proximity to allegiant Stadium and the walk under for the movement to Excalibur and New York New York. food.

Positives are the location, check in staff, cleaning staff and general front of house staff, plus it is cheap and access is great (short walk to Allegiant Stadium, tram and deuce bus stops), good Wi-Fi and the air con in room worked well.

Rooms and hotel itself are dated… needs a facelift and there’s no buzz in the hotel…only good thing is location to Allegiant stadium…when compared to most other hotels on the strip, it’s not in the same level

Luxor has easy access to Allegiant Stadium, which is why we stay here for games and concerts.

If you’re going to allegiant stadium for a concert or show I’d recommend staying here.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and the Luxor is only a 15 minute walk to the allegiant Stadium.

So, Luxor was perfect for our attending the Taylor Swift concert in the Allegiant Stadium.

This place has Pros and Cons… Close to Allegiant Stadium if planning on attending a football game.

We went there as we planned to see a game at the Allegiant Stadium.

Good location if attending an even at allegiant stadium.

Main reason for booking this hotel was because it is close to the Allegiant Stadium.

It stunk, the customer service was awful, and the bathroom was falling apart.

Rooms were dark and cramped, without any amenities - ice machine out of service, iron broken, had to call for shampoo and soap - no hot water.

but the water pressure for the shower was the only problem!!

Bathroom was filthy as if it hadn't been cleaned before we arrived.

The only issues was the lack of hot water and didn’t have hand soap in the room when got it.

Room could be updated leaky shower head had a washcloth on top to keep from spraying phone reception poor in room.

Dated bathrooms in the guest rooms and thin sheets.

Bathroom dirty especially the hair in the shower.

We had a flooded carpet outside of our room with a fan running all night, and they were not willing to change our room until the second night when it was too late for us to change it.

they extended my checkout by 1 hour, so it could be used at either starbucks, the pyramid cafe, or the buffet in Excalibur (the only options for breakfast within walking distance) realized too late it had been infested with cockroaches when i turned on the bathroom light in the middle of the final night and three scattered on the counter (one was on my toothbrush).

I’ve never seen a hotel charge for refrigerator and then when delivered it doesn’t work properly and there is no rack inside to put your items.

No coffee, no body wash, no towel holder on shower door and check in was delayed.

the bathroom sink drain was absolutely disgusting, would back up with water, and stunk like sewage.

There were hairs in the shower, no shower gel in the container, hairs next to the toilet and dirty towel.

Toilet flooded, bathroom smelled like urine after they cleaned it!

Full trash cans, dirt towels all over, used bars of soap in the shower, dirty sink.

2 out of 4 elevators were out of order for our room section, digital keys didn't work, bathroom sink when turned on smelled like a sewer restraunts could not accommodate the crowds and knowing the crowds you have a dinner buffet could have helped alleviate some of that and overall way over priced

Bed wasn't made everyday, bathroom towels were never replaced.

Also, sharing soap dispensers is pretty gross, go back to individual packaged soaps and shampoos.

the resort is looking shabby and run down, carpets need cleaning, power wash the filthy parking elevators and walk way into the hotel.

Your elevators were turned off during the construction and no one notified your stafff so your staff could tell people that, the elevator was closed so we were stuck downstairs for a bit till we got help which was way later on.

elevators that don't work, dirty sheets and a broken bed, and employees who don't care and lack empathy.

Hot water took up to 10 minutes, bluetooth key on phone didn't work, elevators broke, internet worked intermittently.

The only bad thing we experienced was the elevators.

An hour wait in line for the one working elevator is ridiculous!

The same mess was on the carpeting in the halls and elevators several days in a row.

Rooms are dated, halls are dirty, half elevators are broken (elevator wait time is 20 minutes), breakfast wait time is 30 minutes and it’s $30 per person (welcome to Vegas!).

The elevators are really dirty, slow and the emergency phone units are all bashed in.

but multiple elevators are broken requiring you to walk long ways to go up/down.

We got stuck in the rundown inclination elevator, one of four was totally out of service.

Casino and Hotel is lacking entertainment the food choices are more fast food than restaurants it only offers a Mexican restaurant and the rooms can use a face lift my bathroom shower was leaking water on the floor.

Some rooms near the elevator can be a bit noisy.

The elevator cabs lobbies were terribly worn.

The elevators were a constant frustration.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff and the check in and check out processes were seamless.

My stay was great, lots of friendly people staying the night as well.

All staff we encountered was super friendly and very pleasant.

Employees make you feel welcome and do a great job of doing that very friendly staff.

The housekeepers were very nice and friendly.

The restaurant choices are good, I especially love Diablos and the entire staff that I interacted with are so nice and friendly.

Great stay great value the staff was very friendly and helpful would recommend friends and family members to stay at luxor convenient to the strip had pretty good luck if I had one complaint it would be the buffet for brunch the breakfast side was not good at all for the price of the buffet.
