great weather great hotel with free spa and beach sunbeds and umbrellas and not a football shirt or sky Tv to be found blend In with the locals.

Great position on the sea front with loads of activities both in and around the city and beach area, with the added benefit of the lava reef and free sunbeds at the front of the hotel.

The seafront beach has barely any sand on it and the weather is completely different from the south.

The Hotel is well located for easy access to the beach and the city.

The room is only small, very dated with a small balcony over looking the beach, nice views.

Very friendly staff , suite on first floor impressive,   location fantastic  ,spa perfect for the cloudy mornings, then beach or rooftop pool.Breakfast buffet very good.

I had a small balcony with a semi-obstructed  view towards the beach.

Amazing location right on the beach with access to a wondeful prom and private sunbeds and parasols just for this hotel.

Location is nice directly at Canteras beach (Playa de Las Canteras), and views from room #541 were stunning,

It’s location on the Paseo De Las Canteras is terrific, stepping right out onto the beach and bagging a free hotel sunbed and brolly is just fabulous.

I would go back if looking for a city beach hotel in a great touristic location in Las Palmas.

This is the most beautifully situated hotel directly by the beach and ocean.

4)  Location - perfect, right across from the beach over the promenade.

Right on La Cantana beach with a terrific sunset view.

The hotel reserved some couches on the beach for residents.

There is also a section on the beach reserved for the hotel guests.

Look for the Jamon restaurant  at the end of beach for best restaurant.

The breakfasts are amazing and set you up for the day.

Breakfast was good with a lot to choose from plus an omelette station with choice of filling and as much fruit juice, tea or coffee as you wish.

First holiday since lockdown,this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in,superb staff,perfect breakfast every day,polite and helpfull,,will definitely be back,,beach a stones throw from hotel,,plenty of walks,,regards the nortons

but was told the hotel was full & to try again  next morning after breakfast 
We did & was moved to room 773 which had a great view.

We did not try the evening buffet, because we want to try new restaurants and have found again some greatnew ones.

Breakfast was inconsistent , some times there would be a nice array of quality cuts of meats other days cheaply formed cuts  ,a mix of brown and white breads on a good day .

Breakfast was above avegare, nut a big minus for the elevators.

butter offering to complete however the best we have seen at a buffet for us poor vegans !!! Dont worry the hotel offers everything else too for those of you wanting inflammation and heart disease ( meat and diary!!)

Breakfast was really good, superb buffet with everything one needs, fresh coffee in pots, eggs and omelettes to order and so on.

The breakfast buffet is good, the spa and gym are lovely too.

I will not comment on food as during this Covid time it's challenging to offer good buffet.

We stayed at Reina Isabel on Playa De Las Canteras in May 2019, and it was great.

This is one of the best hotels in Playa de las Canteras.

Right by the Playa de las Canteras, named "best Eurpean beach" several times in a row by I cannot remember which travel sites (possibly TripAdvisor), the Bull Reina Isabel, is a nice luxurious 4*, with all the facilities of an urban hotel, and the benefit of being right by the beach.

We chose this hotel because we’d stayed on Playa De Las Canteras previously, in a basic apartment, and fancied staying in a hotel with all the facilities that a large hotel offers.

You fall out of the hotel onto Playa de Las Canteras a wonderful 3 kilometre beach and promenade.

It is situated on the Playa de las Canteras, a 3.5 kilometre long beach with a pedestrianised promenade from end to end.

Its location, next to La Playa de las Canteras, was very convenient.

We stayed one week in March 2016 at this a little bit look tired basic 4-star hotel with very good location on playa de las Canteras beach.

We had a generously sized balcony overlooking the sea and the excellent beach (Playa de las Canteras).

Out and about the playa de las canteras is beautiful for a stroll and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes as you wander.

Excellent position, right on the Playa de las Canteras.

This hotel is ideally located right on the promenade along Playa de Las Canteras and within walking distance of lots of restaurants, shopping etc.

This hotel is an excellent hotel situated right on the Paseo Maritimo and the beach at Playa de las Canteras.

Great eating places as well and the location fantastic to see the whole of las Palmas city and the promenade

All along the promenade were shops, bars and restaurant.

The promenade is about 3km long with numerous places to eat or have a small beer.

Straight out of the back onto the promenade.

The hotel is located well to walk both ways along the promenade and a 5 minute walk from Santa Catalina Park.

Every evening we had cocktails in their bar next to the promenade along the amazing Las Canteras beach before setting off to walk to find a new restaurant to eat at.

Personally, on the promenade that runs the length of the beach, this is the best hotel.

It’s right on the beach with a promenade that has lots of good restaurants within just a few minutes’ walk.

The location was equidistant to both ends of the  promenade and there is a taxi stand right outside.

Location with the beach and promenade so close was excellent, especially with a young toddler.

This hotel is located only a few meters from the sand of the Las Cantreras beach and directly on the promenade.

Great for flat walking along the beach promenade.

Immediately behind the hotel is a long promenade adjacent to the beach and with a number of shops, cafes, restaurants etc.

You can walk directly out onto the promenade and then the beach and its a real bonus having free sunbeds at your disposal.

We were booked for a fortnight stay at this hotel, which we found to be ideally situated centrally on the promenade on the seafront.

First day we had dinner in the hotel restaurant ordered drinks informing the room number when they brought the bill, obviously we left when finished.

Lovely clean rooms and public areas, good choice of food and very good quality.

The bar on the front is a must, we had cocktails every evening before finding a restaurant to have our evening meals.

All in all I found the half board option was good value for money and very convenient to be able to pop down and eat ASAP rather than to go hunting for a good restaurant at double the price

The waiter at dinner was very good and attentive.

Highly recommend for a break in this lovely city. Finally if you want the best hospitality and food on the island go to the Restaurante Etiopico Afrika  ( only 6 euros in a taxi from the hotel)

However, the buffet dinner in the main restaurant was much better value, there was plenty of choice and it was very nice.

the spa, swimming pool, terrace etc were off limits and closed down our lovely sea view room was impeccably maintained and the food and service in the restaurant was top class.

Hotel food buffet more than adequate choice.

Absolutely loved the Marina bar and the cocktails,  smoothies and liqueur coffees were delicious.

The breakfast was everything you could ask for and we really did not have to have any lunch.

Several excellent restaurants, as well if you prefer b&b.

The location is very good and there are tens of restaurants in close proximity to the hotel.

The rooftop pool is also special with the views- space for yoga looking out to sea and a well equipped gym.

However the best surprise is the spa and rooftop pool.

Rooftop pool was lovely with plenty of loungers and reserving with towels is not allowed 😊
The spa was just heavenly to use.

There’s also a great roof top pool and bar and the restaurant has a great view –

but there is a Spar store next door with cheap drinks and snacks for the beach

The rooftop pool, gym and 3 restaurants were just icing on the cake.

The roof top pool is beautiful with Spa facilities which are among the best I've visited in any hotel.

Roof top pool was great never had any issue getting a sun lounger.

The public areas are beautifully kept, the rooftop pool was a real haven, the spa has the most beautiful views, plus sauna, steam room , flotation pool etc.

Gym, Spa, rooftop pool all excellent and if I had to make one criticism apart from no kettle in the room (for the goodnight cuppa!

There is a roof top pool with just about enough loungers for all the large white bodies to change colour on and a spa with a flotation pool and various other options, all included in the room rate apart from treatments, which are of course, separately charged.

Then, the rooftop pool and lounge - if you bought a drink, you'd get a less-than-handful of peanuts (nice).

The rooftop pool as well as the spa is free for all residents of the hotel and there are also sunbeds out on the beach which are reserved for guests of the hotel.

All of the staff we spoke to at reception, at the breakfast area, and at the various bars (rooftop by the pool, and on the front by the promenade) were all very helpful and friendly, in particular one called Arthur (I think he was Portugese) who even gave us some really good places to eat (we were only bed and breakfast at the hotel).

A really top class hotel nothing is too much trouble for the staff the breakfast was spot on plenty of variety rooms nicely laid out,roof top pool lovely spa gym flotation pool massage bed on the next level up from the pool all in all a beautiful place to stay.

but we didn't experience that), a good size rooftop pool with plenty of sunloungers and umbrellas, a great view of the beach one side and the city of Las Palmas on the other side, a great free spa with an interesting flotation pool and automatic massage bed (must try both!)

The pillows were the absolute lumpiest I’ve ever seen in a hotel and nothing smelled fresh.

I reported to reception on the way out at 17:30 that eve that the short screen had a nasty crack in it & we went to carnival.

It was an unusually warm stretch for October in Las Palmas as well and the air conditioning barely worked and we couldn’t keep the patio door open at night for the ocean breeze because of the cigarette smoke coming in. Sad.

cons-  room smelt of smoke, think it was coming in from next door through the air conditioning, also didn't use the balcony for the same reason, smokers next door.

Hot food is kept warm in food trays with lids if these hadn't been opened for some time you get a very hot blast of steam which could give you a nasty burn.

BUT on our first night we got a nasty surprise: going out on the balcony to admire the sea views, the balcony door locked behind us and couldn't be opened from the outside.

I just wish that hotels would ban smoking and please the majority of guests who don’t smoke.

Lighting in the bathroom was excellent (despite one lightbulb being burned out), and there are a total of 11 lightbulbs in the bathroom -- 7 in recessed ceiling spotlights and 4 in wall-mounted lamps in the sink area.

Do not try the spinach soup..dreadful and disgusting.

I could open the doors of the small balcony only for short time, the air was much polluted, the smell of the diesel exhaust and petrol lingering after it in the room!

Try to avoid the rush hours as can be on the crowded side and outside area is usually impregnated with smoke even when an area is reserved for non-smokers.

The back streets were not nice and then we arrived at this beautiful hotel whose front faced the back streets which were full of fumes from the multitude of traffic on them, at 3:30 a.m. the reception gave us our keys and we finally and literally fell into bed around 03:45.

I asked to change rooms as the room I was in stunk of cigarettes.

Cosmetically , areas of rust and damp are beginning to show.

They also cut out the water supply (by accident, I presume) to our room and as the construction workers seemed to be rather heavy smokers, the smell was all over our room as well.

There was a smell of drains which we discovered to be coming from a bidet which cleared after we flushed water down it.

but i wish they didn't extract the urine by saying things like "City View" which in fact means a fairly grimy office block a few yards away!

I was all the time polite and there was another female employee there and kept silence.

Can't fault the staff, they made our stay wonderful.

This hotel is a pleasure to stay in and the staff were outstanding.

The staff, very friendly and professional, no complaints.

Special requests were not acknowledged on the booking form .

A warm and friendly welcome from the staff which extends to all the staff throughout the stay with nothing was too much trouble attitude.

The air-con in the reception toilets appeared to have been switched off.

Staff are lovely especially Eleasar, Khaleed, Kevin, Rui, Moises, Daima and Alby.

If we could have a few wishes to improve it would be free upgrades to sea view rooms for regular repeating guests and may be some English TV channels too.

I gave a 3 nights ocean view room to my partner as a xmas present & we extended our 10 days in playa del ingles  to encompass the Las Palmas carnival 
We were able to check in early which was great

Seaside rooms have excellent views especially if you are above 2nd floor.

Spa is super special with views out to sea and a salt water floating pool which made our skin look incredible.

The place has a great location, clean rooms and a wonderfull view.

We could perhaps have upgraded to a sea view

We had a room on the 6th floor and the view was stunning.

The main restaurant was on the sea front.

The restaurant (La Bodeguita) is fantastic, delicious food, amazing host and great service !

Beautiful building, great room with an amazing bed, fabulous breakfast.

One of the ladies who worked in the reception and at Breakfast front desk was particularly amazing.

The breakfast was superb, everything you wanted served on beautiful outside terraces, if you wished.

Great Hotel for exploring Las Palmas, nice rooftop and wonderful breakfast.

The staff, the breakfast, gardens, the room and the historical ambience of the place made it a pure joy to be staying there.

We were in a beautiful long room where all the staff were running backwards and forwards with orange juice and coffee for other tables.

The room was to a high standard and very clean, with good facilities, and the pool, spa, restaurants, breakfast area and rooftop pool were all beautiful.

Recommend the wellness centre as a perfect way to start the day after breakfast.

Our breakfast was included and it was an excellent choice.

The hotel is stunning, the breakfast spread offered so many options that it often kept us full throughout the day, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel facilities were well maintained, never over-crowded and we wish we’d spent more time in the pools!

We had a balcony looking over the palm trees at the from which was well used and the bar in the evening was a lovely atmosphere with live piano music.

I have to say as a hospitality professional for over 40 years there was nothing to fault with this company and product, and I certainly will be very much looking forward to my next stay, everything was faultless from the generous upgrade, wonderful surroundings, exceptional service, and warmhearted team.

The rooms are exquisite, and the entire hotel is designed beautifully.

I see a few places from hotel and I was imnpressed about elegant rooms, about reception, about rooftop bar.

but preferred the quiet and chilled atmosphere at the rooftop.

Kids are not allowed on the rooftop bar and not in the interior heated pool.

So the bright lights were on even at night.

Quality of furnishings, decor and maintenance of beautiful old building is impressive.

The hotel's rooftop bar and spa are stylish yet unpretentious.

This is a beautiful, elegant hotel and deserves its Grand Luxe accolade.

Lovely hotel with private gardens and wonderful roof top bar with city views.

But with its beautiful garden this is a peaceful oasis that we will return to  again.

When we arrived, we first got a smaller room on the 2'nd floor, facing another wing of the hotel.

It's in a quiet area and surrounded by gardens which is nice,

Everything was very well managed and despite the fact I had many zoom calls it was easy to switch mood and relax as soon as they ended, thanks to great atmosphere of the garden, music, birds.

The rooms are well maintained and the Junior Suite we were in was spacious, well located and had a huge terrace, perfect for watching the wildlife in the spectacular gardens, and the comings and goings of the hotel bars and entrance.

The gardens, the hotel, the pool and staff - everything and everyone were part of making my stay absolutely wonderful.

The hotel is beautiful with the luscious green gardens, lovely decor throughout and 3 pools.

From the beautiful gardens, the perfect interior, exquisite food, extremely comfortable beds and stunning rooms.

We didn't use the pools or the restaurants just the room.

You could always get a sunbed next to the pool.

Late drinks on the fifth floor at the pool bar was a real treat.

There is a dedicated concierge for the pool area, and he is great, no worries about people reserving sunbeds with towels then going out for the day!

There is a really nice leafy public park at the back of the hotel which makes a nice change for reading a book etc if you get bored of sitting around the pool all day.

We had an evening meal at the restaurant which was excellent and the maitre de we thought was very attentive as she took the details of our meal and my wife’s allergy ( an onion allergy )
However when my wife’s meal came it had onions !!

We had access to the lovely rooftop bar, heated swimming pool - which was perfect for this time of year,  and sun loungers, beds and chairs of all sorts.

Lovely hotel, staff all very friendly and beautiful pool area and rooms.

We'd probably have spent more time in the pool area as well had we had more sun, especially with the pleasant experiences we had with the very service-minded and friendly man working there.
