The breakfast was good each day and one of the few Hamptons that served fresh fruit including berries.

This hotel is located across from the lake and esy walking distance to everything on main st. Like all Hamptons they have great breakfast.

Breakfast room and selection was great as was the lake view outdoor space.

For the price, breakfast buffet was included.

The entire hotel worked hard to make the stay trouble free.From having rags to wipe down your bike to early breakfast on race day.

The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast room/lounge area, which we took advantage of for an evening hot chocolate as well as the well-stocked continental breakfast with many choices.

If you are looking for a people friendly, clean place to stay with a very nice breakfast give the Hampton a try.

We decided to stay at this hotel in June as we live in NY and had to change our out of state travel plans due to Covid restrictions.

however, due to the times, this was the first we've traveled out of our community since March worth the wait.

but they were closed the past 2 days due to the holidays) The Desk attempted to call the hotel but the manger had already left.

but due to a last-minute change to our travel plans, we found availability here.

but due to the warm weather this winter and upper floor, the air conditioning had to keep running and that fan was loud.

but when we tried to redeem our complimentary drink cards ( due to long wait at check in), there was no bartender and they sent a maintenance man over who didn't know how to work the beer taps.

Economical and frustrating restroom sink spray faucets that dispense a pathetic spray of water and don’t stay on due to the electric eye not “seeing” your hands because you are not precisely calibrating the positioning of said hands at the correct angles.

second time to cancel my reservation due to the extreme weather.

My wife and I stayed at the Hampton In Lake Placid July 16-17, 2022, in Room 509.

This is a very nice and convenient location for the town of Lake Placid and multiple sites in the area: other towns, hiking, history and some beautiful, breathtaking rides in the Adirondaks.

If we visit Lake Placid again, we will definitely stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites.

This trip to Lake Placid with my sons was made even more special by staying at this hotel.

We traveled to Lake Placid to enjoy the beauty of fall and were looking for a clean and comfortable hotel to stay in.

I highly recommend if staying in the Lake Placid area.

This hotel is far superior to the lake placid Marriott Courtyard we stayed at during our last visit.

The hotel is situated at the end of mirror lake, near the Main Street of Lake Placid and with a brewery right next door.

I had originally planned to visit Lake Placid in March 2021,

We booked a trip to Lake Placid on October 30, 2020 for two nights.

We also could walk the 2,6 mile walk around Mirror lake each day.

Rooms were spotless and comfortable, the staff was professional and friendly, and the setting is stunning overlooking Mirror Lake.

We had a very comfortable room with 2 queens and a small balcony overlooking the public bathing beach on Mirror Lake.

Mirror Lake is right across the street and there is a brewery next door.

The property is lovely, and we enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the activities on Mirror Lake.

We had a standard room with no balcony which didn’t overlook the lake.

The balcony views are wonderful, loved the fire pits and chairs on the lawn.

The breakfast area is lovely with a view of Mirror Lake.

The lounge had a huge window overlooking the lake.

The lobby was beautiful and the view of the lake was amazing.

It has amazing lake view and a welcoming vibe.

We had a very nice room with a view of the lake.

The front lawn also has seating, if you want to sit outside and get a view of the lake or have a drink.

Without asking she upgraded us to a lake view room (422).

Very pleasant stay convenient to restaurants and great views.

Breakfast was very good with hot and cold food provided in a very clean and well organized manner.

Good complimentary breakfast is a real plus.

From the friendly gentleman on the front desk to the spotless room and comfortable bed and great breakfast, this Hotel has it all, including a perfect location on the main drag.

Breakfast was included and had great variety, clean and had a big enough dining area for comfort.

Friendly staff provided us with the information needed for early bagged breakfast options that kept us socially distanced and nourished with quality foods and recognizable brands.

Terrific dining area and they actually had breakfast!

We were surprised how calm and empty the breakfast area was, with so many places to enjoy.

Considering Covid, the hot breakfast couldn't have been much better!

The elderly woman working the breakfast was very friendly and efficient.

Due to Covid, they asked you to fill the form for breakfast options.

The continental breakfast was also very good and had many different options as we have gluten allergies in the family.

The staff is really friendly too and they even have a good continental breakfast.

Staff is friendly breakfast is delicious convienent location rooms are clean and spacious easy walk to downtown shuttle is perfect for the trip to whiteface.

The hotel does not have an elevator so keep that in mind if staying here.

Be aware, there is no elevator, so if you need to keep a bicycle in the room, plan on carrying it up and down stairs if you aren't on the first floor.

Old hotel, I don't reccomend  No elevator  No air condition at all room.

Be aware there is no elevator in the hotel so if you have trouble with stairs request a 1st fl room.

Somehow we had a nearly silent experience with very little noise seeping in from the hallway or other rooms.

The interior, such as hallway carpets&decor could use updating- seems like you get less that you would for the same price other places.

New rugs with brighter colours will alert users of staircases and create a lighter hallway.

They did have inside rooms, we walked the halls on the way to the pool, and evert step was noisy and creaky.

The sliding doors open onto a balcony/outdoor corridor.

The hallways to the room did have a foul odder both days.

but have endlessly long hallways, especially on the second floor.

The decor was dated , especially the carpet in halls and stairs on the 2nd floor.

is really an inn on the main street which is congested with traffic and tourists, Thank goodness we were on the second floor and towards the end of the corridor.

The walls are very thin, we could hear people yelling in the hallway late at night after what sounded like a night of partying.

While located in the Heart of Lake Placid and you will pay for that -- this is a overpriced  two star hotel.

It's once again our new favorite place in Lake Placid.

Overall, a top-notch location in downtown Lake Placid, and clean and pleasant experience.

We would stay here again, As prices in Lake Placid can be expensive for hotels, when traveling with a large family this was great.

I definitly will continue to stay at the Adirondack Inn every time I am back in Lake Placid.

We love to stay at the Best Western Adirondack Inn when we visit Lake Placid.

Best Western Adirondack Inn by the Lake is a laid-back, alpine-style, paid lodging facility in Lake Placid featuring 49 air-conditioned rooms with either a private balcony or a private patio.

The only recommendation I could offer is that it is directly opposite the Lake Placid Olympic Arena, very convenient if you are playing hockey there.

Having visited Lake Placid many times, we have found that the Best Western Adirondack Inn, a tthree star hotel, gives you the best value for your money.

The Inn is a short walk from the main shopping district in Lake Placid.

The Olympic ice venue is right across the street and it is within walking distance to many restaurants and activities in Lake Placid.

The hotel is in walking distance of everything in Lake Placid downtown.

This is a really good affordable Lake Placid hotel and would recommend if in town for a few days.

We’ve stayed at several different hotels and 4 star resorts in Lake Placid and found the Best Western exceeding expectations.

This is the closest hotel in Lake Placid to the 1932, and 1980s rinks which made things super convenient.

We came for a weekend away, our fourth time in Lake Placid together.

A great lodge in the midst of Lake Placid and all the Olympic attractions.

Parking is a little tight for larger vehicles

Parking lot is tight for larger vehicles and spaces are limited so beware.

It's diagonal parking and very tight in a very narrow lot  There is only one way to get in and out, so diagonal parking isn't really the best in this situation.

The location is walkable to the very cute downtown business district.

The location was perfect for walking everywhere.

Good location for walking to the shops and restaurants.

.so happy we stayed at the Best Western, perfect location to walk across the street to the rink or to hit many of the fabulous restaurants near by.

Amazing location if you’re playing hockey in town.

This is a great location for families, it’s across the street from the lake, also across the street from the Olympic ice arena.

Perfect location accross from Olympic Center, and it's ann easy  walk to downtown Main St. to do some shopping.

but having to hump suitcases and hockey bags upstairs is a major drag, especially for our "older" age group.

Only downfall are: older building so not the most sound proof rooms, slow drain in bathtub and the hot tub could be cleaned as I notice a collection of grime on the floor when jets were off.

Although the building is older and comes with the thin walls and creaky floors, the warmth of the lobby, convenient location, and exquisite breakfast (with extras like dried fruit and nuts for your yogurt or oatmeal) make up for it.

Obviously an older building that has had a lot of updates while keeping the quaintness that was built into the original hotel.

One of the best pools we’ve experienced.

Place was clean, convenient, nice pool, food in a.m.  Would and will absolutely stay here again.

The pool and hot tub were great after skiing White Face.

The indoor pool was treat and the fitness center offered a good sweat for my wife and daughter.

Great pool for the kids, also very clean.

There is a nice pool, a hot tub, steam rooms, and a gym.

The plus side is getting your luggage from The car is fairly easy🤣 The hotel has a pool

The rooms are spacious, off the 2nd floor a great view of Mirror Lake, a very good choice of breakfast and even a pool if you want to unwind after walking the town or local hiking trails.

We used the hot tub and pool daily after motorcycling around the surrounding area.

They also have an indoor pool which was very nice.

The pool area looked nice and there was a small gym and ping pong table across from the pool.

The BEST WESTERN has included: parking, breakfast, pool, and other amusements for travelers.

but it’s charming with a lovely breakfast area, front deck, fabulous indoor pool and a short walk to Mirror Lake.

When I  selected a Quality Inn for my Lake Placid ski getaway, I anticipated enjoying a quiet stay in a clean, cozy  room; inviting public areas in which to read; a bubbling jacuzzi to soothe and relax me after a challenging day skiing on Whiteface Mountain; a hearty, varied breakfast; and other amenities I have come to associate with the Choice brand.

The breakfast is good, including meat products, egg products, breads, muffins, bagels, cereal, waffle maker, juice and good coffee.

Breakfast was good and the staff seem OK,

The breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast, plus warm eggs and sausage.

The continental breakfast is basically the same as most hotels, sausages, eggs, fruit, breads, pastries, waffles etc.

Positives were great staff, breakfast, views, bed was super comfortable, room was spacious.

The included buffet breakfast was good (not great) and very useful when travelling with a family.

Breakfast is ample and the room is large (plus you can seat by the indoor pool, if it really gets crazy in the room).

Complementary breakfast had a wide variety to choose from.

The room itself was absolutely fine and close to the pool area - also houses the breakfast area.

Breakfast was excellent, all fresh, lots of choices.

This is the same kind of breakfast served at every Choice hotel brand.

Overall, I say don’t fall for the free breakfast and pay the extra $20/night to stay at a better hotel.

Our room was in the pool area which an early morning would begin for us due to the noise because the free breakfast that is offered.

The carpet was stained and the room smelled like a thousand sweaty socks were hidden somewhere.

The foyer and hallway was old and the carpet was raised in the middle of the hallway.

The carpet is very old and the paint was peeling in places.

but there were ripples in the carpet, especially in the breakfast area.

The carpet was absolutely disgusting, to the point where I didn’t walk around barefoot at all.

The new room wasn’t much better, there was toilet paper in the toilet, it was not cleaned from the previous guest, mold along the edge of the tub, dirty carpet and furniture,

Take out these old carpets and even replace with vinyl and/or laminate like the 3 star hotels in Europe.

In addition, the rooms are outdated, the carpet and chairs were stained, the smoke detector was missing, the lampshades above the beds and the bathroom tiles were cracked.

Carpet buckling up, two outlets not functioning, bathroom fan not working.

The carpet had a lot of wrinkles and stains.

However, the carpet and a chair were stained.

The carpets are old and dated and not very clean.

Yes, the building is tired, with worn carpets and banged up furniture,

Room was extremely dated and run down, dirty carpets, damaged furniture, light fixtures broken, wall paper peeling off the walls etc.

The carpet was filthy, made mt socks black and the bathroom had mold all around the ceiling.

(b) The hallways are showing signs of considerable guest traffic:  older carpet showing its age;  walls etc banged up in places, probably due to skiis etc in the winter; pack packs and other gear in the summer.

The carpet was old and worn looking and the room emitted a nasty smell of old socks and/or body odor.

We entered our room and the musty smell was overwhelming, the disgusting carpet and dirty coverlets was not a great first impression.

but the rooms are large, access is easy, and all the facilities are clean.

It is clean and the mattress was very good.

My expectations weren’t too high considering the price point - just wanted safe and clean.

There were roaches and I thought it was supposed to be clean, you know I pay good money to stay here and expect it to be clean

Rooms clean, good water pressure, and didnt look run down.. price is excellent and within minute to downtown.

The only thing clean in this room was the bed.

The room was clean and spacious and the hotel staff are friendly and welcoming.

I checked the other bed and it too had long black curly hair between the sheets.
