AC units in the rooms are noisy and looks like something from the 18th century.

My 2nd room air conditioner was LOUDER than the first,  and so after a few hours, I switched back to my original room in which the repairs had now been completed.

Ac just a little too noisy for me because I am a light sleeper.

Some improvements can be made especially to ventilation

The (old) airco on the room was too loud, the water faucet came apart, some mold.

Very Good room, only the air conditioner that cannot swing and the TV remote control cannot work from a distance.

Overall I had a good experience at this hotel, with one caveat: the AC in the room is very noisy and my room was near an outside generator which was also very noisy.

The only setback was that the room was too cold even after turning off the air-conditioner for hours.I would suggest that the complimentary  red wine should be served daily.

The vents for the air conditioner has built up dust that needed cleaning while the sheets and towels were all stained.

Despite my complain in the morning you can see that filter of the air conditioning unit is still dirty, that means they didnt even bother to look at it.

The hotel rooms are currently undergoing refurbishment, and those that are still to be done have noisy air conditioning.

We had a standard room which turned out to be quite small with very noisy air conditioning.

I was moved immediately to another room,  that was bigger and had the AC in the bed area.

The AC in the room was noisy and yet not cooling, the bed was squeaky and not comfortable

but more than comfortable, although the aircon is very loud.

My room was filthy, the AC was of another age and making really bad noise.

Okay, so others have mentioned the 'worn beige' decor and the noisy aircon,

A/C unit in the room is an old outdated equipment making high noise and impossible to sleep!

No way one can sleep with that unit turned on.

This set off my dinner to the right start and awokened my tastebuds to lavishly enjoy the well laid out  dishes at the buffet section in the restaurant.

Finally, the Sea Food Friday night buffet?

Starting from the delicious Cat fish Pepper soup to a super gigantic grilled whole fish, the giant sized live on the grill prawns, calamari and white fish as well.

The breakfast buffet at Mövenpick Hotel was impressive,

Indeed the buffet was buffeting..I was spoit for choice from continental to African to seafood .

My kids loved the quality and quantity of breakfast.

The breakfast in the restaurant is phenomenal, management is always helpful.

The food options were also decent with enough breakfast options to offer rotating flavors over the course of the week, and speedy room service.

We were at the hotel for a Saturday buffet brunch, my daughter had a good time and the staff gave her a complimentary ice-cream, which she was really excited about.

Good service , fast check in , the buffet was well stocked and the room service meals were okay , the room was cleaned in time and I had absolutely no complaints which is rare for a lagos hotel .

The buffet meals were delicious and had a spread of foods to satisfy ALL  different palates and meal requirements.

The breakfast buffet is not to be missed, The meals are well made with varieties of dishes to choose from and a host of appetizers and desserts..ooh lala!

Started off with goat meat pepper soup(I love my meat tender, you know the kind that won’t stress you and that way the ingredients is usually soaked in and tastes heavenly)
Then I had my 1st course, and I was quite full I couldn’t keep up

I would rather pay for a hotel that offers breakfast for 2 in a room.

The breakfast (and room service) here is the tastiest in all the hotels ive stayed in in Lagos so huge kudos to their catering team and chefs.

The breakfast is the best, with a wide range of foods to choose from.

I tried their continental dishes and I was impressed.

The food was good especially breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and the ambiance was welcoming. My husband really liked the cocktails at the bar (long island)

The rooms are cleaned every day, breakfast buffet was on point.

The rooms were too pricey for the quality therein.

The disadvantage was & is the high price for a bottle of water, in my opinion a shame to get it 10 times more expensive than its price in a supermarket 🙄
I recommend it to be close & quite comfortable in Ikoyi ! !

The Upgraded room were very good and should be the least room  for your rates(price) and hotel standard, The elevator need to be worked on its a bit too old for the hotel standard and malfunction most times.

but they mentioned that I should pay extra for an upgrade.

Even when it was time for me to pay my tab, I had to go into the restaurant myself, to initiate payment at the internal bar cash register.

All through, the Waiters seem to pay more attention to “Regulars” - some had 2/3 waiters always hovering around them!

One of the receptionist I asked slippers too told me my room rate was not high enough for me to access these - mind you I paid $200 for a room that didn't even have a queen size bed :-)!

The place is clean, the facilities all worked well and the rating would have been 4 stars had it not been slightly overpriced.

Expensive meals not as tasty as the prices.

but beware of the price of the buffet dinner - if you are not after sampling multiple dishes, a simple meal order might make more sense.

I wish the receptionist paid a little bit more attention to you when giving service.

I refused to pay it and the manager was called.

It's a little pricey so I guess I won't be able to visit every Sunday

The entire duct work is probably clogged with dust mites, mould and never been cleaned for ages.

Unfortunately, my room had carpet with was dirty and had a mouldy smell.

Rust, mold and mildew, as well as other unsightly residue was rife in the bathroom- on the tiles, marble counter edges, metal fittings, shower corners and other crevices.

but 24 hours later and it had stopped cooling the room at all, leaving it a humid, damp, warm environment.

but the facility is getting a bit old and always smells slightly musty.

The water in the bathroom smelled terribly and even ran with a slightly yellow color and we ended up with rashes while there.

The room has a bad scent, I requested a different room and I was offered to move to a non renovated room.

It looks like they actually took my advise and worked on the problems of the room ,smell and the noisy AC.

My room had a stench smell once I entered, I knew it was from the rug.

Things get worse when you go to the rooms:

- corridors and lift areas smell musty 
- rooms and particularly the bathroom are tiny
- rooms need a major refurbishment 
- aircon is very loud and ineffective 
- no plugs near the bed.

My room had a consistent musty smell, possibly from the carpeting.

The first room had a bad odor to where I started getting a headache, this was like a strong mildew scent.

After my first night there, I became violently ill and moved to a different room, where the foul odor was slightly more bearable.

Only had an issue with the rooms, first room not only did is smell moldy,

The buffet and lounge food are also excellent.

They have buffet breakfast including all continental dishes.

The staff are so courteous, I love the breakfast, Emeka Ayogu and Blessing egborge cleans my room perfectly, the security is top notch there are lot of good things to write.

Lagos continental hotel is a place to be, very nice environment and dedicated staff, good breakfast, spacious room and equipped with wonderful interiors, free internet connectivity that made my stay wonderful

though 'real' coffee (not pre-brewed) was charged extra.

Billing: If you dine in the restaurant or bar facilities you have to settle the charges immediately they wont post in your room which is very embarrassing all the excuses is guest run away without clearing the bill.

So make sure you have your ATM card in hand when you order food to your room, because they wont leave until you pay.

but they tried to charge me and were confused  with the booking.

For what they charge you, it’s unacceptable.

Would prefer a sync between the reservations and front desk as it would make transactions more seamless.

Unnecessary charges such as charging to use the POS when ordering something small like juice is annoying.

Since it was brunch, I was somewhat disappointed that water and coffee were charged for.

Only issue in the room was some sockets and charge points not working and I highlighted this to staff who took the feedback on board.

Very rude and disrespectful staff at check in, concierge staff barging into my bedroon using pass key card, to flooded room (air-conditioner flooded tiled room)and near miss fall at 4.30am in the morning on my way to the bathroom, to tepid water in bathroom .

Despite issues I had with paying with my credit card, Osagie was very patient through out my attempts to use the card and uncomplainingly accommodated my various calls to the credit card company.

We used our card and their system showed it declined whilst our banking showed the payment had gone through.

but no more, but much of the signage and room cards are still branded Intercontinental.

The hotel charges Nira 150 per page to photocopy and thats not appreciated if services of booking training rooms have been availed for over 3 days.Printing should have been complimentary.

Finally I was charged an extra $100 for early room occupation - something one should budget for if one arrives on a morning (Virgin) flight.

even though they are a corporate hotel and almost every company I have worked for issues an American Express Corporate Card.

I made a purchase of drinks worth the sum of N6,600 paying with debit card, only to be charged N66,000 due to negligence of staff.

The major challenge is the credit card acceptance as many of our cards failed to be approved

Mould and mildew in the shower, one bath and hand towel only for a couple (and attitude and rudeness from staff when asking for another set of towels), rough worn sheets, hard beds, air con that froze you or wouldn't come on, dirty windows, and dated torn furniture.

- The cleaning and laundry service personnels all had body odour .

The room had a terrible smell and in need of a renovation, air conditioner worked terribly and pretty much blew hot air.

We were shown suites, they all had a nasty smell.

For 2 days there was no light all through the morning and nothing  was done to compensate 
For another few days the roof outside the room by the lift was opened for repair and an offensive odor pervaded throughout
Quality of food was average and food varieties was limited

Starting from the dirty disgusting bathrooms that didn't  look like they'd been cleaned for years to the stained mirrors, absolutely poor room lighting, several light bulbs out.

The light constantly going on and off was not great and do not get me started on the horrible smell of fuel in the lifts due to an oil spillage somewhere in the building.

but unfortunately the photos was of the hotel when it was manage by intercontinental when it was 5 stars , the hotel now is Lagos continental ,very bad service , bad maintenance , the worst thing is the Smell of the room, the bed ,the below and the Towels .

however the cleanliness standards are not up to standard, the bathroom had a bit of a stench, maybe due it it not being cleaned daily with disinfectant.

There was a weird smell and also the bathrooms were not very clean.

Aircon blows our air that smells of diesel generator that powers electricity.

The room has a damp mouldy odour which I complained about and they tried to resolve

There was a continual smell of what seemed like diesel when you were near on in the elevators, which was almost overpowering, the water, while hot, had a colour that can be descried as "Strangely Brown" unless you had it running for a while, Wi-Fi was terrible.

I complained of a headache on my to room and Emeka asked if he could get me cold water and if I needed any assistance.

Basic things that are important in a hotel are properly functioning heating and cooling systems , hot water , clean sheets and towels and of course service.

It is nicely staffed with complimentary water, cucumber essence cold face towels and a very hand air purification system.

But 2 of the rooms I stayed in on the 17th & 23rd floors had maintenance issues - water not flowing from the bathroom floor, malfunctioning air conditioning.

The bathroom was leaking water all over the floor, and the hotel even could not find me a microwave to warm food I got from the hotel, telling me it was spoilt.

Especially as the internet went off due to these power outages and sometimes the hot water also wasn’t as hot as a result of this .

also, we had a water leakage from the ceiling, and this is not the first time its happened.

No unlimited cocktails- choice of water or juice it is drummed on your ear as soon as you sit down meanwhile you're looking at a flyer on the table that states different.

even though water leaked from ceiling and then floor was like swimming pool.

This Hotel is awful don’t waste your time or energy or money staying at this water gushing from the air conditioning hotel in all of the rooms.

only two bottle of water,   and i escalated to club lounge staff and they were so apologised and looks sad.

No hot water in my shower for 2 days, a toilet that ran water through it continuously.

Then I didn’t have hot or warm water to shower for half of my stay and ended up showering in my colleague room.

However bathroom tap was loose in it's fixing and wobbled when touched, hot water was not consistent, - sometimes too hot to shower and could not be turned down - and on one occasion the ceiling panel concealing the aircon, fell down,

Not only did I have to change rooms 3x due to filthy, rusty water spewing from from the bath and sink faucets of all three rooms, the a/c did not function properly in our meeting room, we had intermittent electricity and the gym floor is about to cave in.

if I wanted coffee or water with breakfast (which was good, eggs AND bacon available), I'd have to ask for it, and it was a similar scenario when we ate dinner.

a few outlets and lights didn’t work, I had to ask for a hair dryer, I only had hot water while a colleague had only cold, etc.

The breakfast offers all palates a great selection.

Was extremely satisfied with the entire dining experience and truly amazed at the variety available for breakfast.

chef JOHN at the breakfast egg station doing a great JPOB and the pastry is easily worlds best.

The breakfasts were rich in contents and variety.

I enjoyed my time at the Radisson blu, the dinner buffet was really good, the room I stayed in was comfortable and the view from up there was so beautiful, I felt refreshed at checkout.

I had a quiet and peaceful stay, it was a business trip, the room was very comfortable with a very strong WiFi connection which was always reliable, the breakfast served was excellent and the business lounge was also a very good spot for relaxation.

I enjoyed the buffet on Sunday and particularly like the idea of the band playing, it was fun.

however, there  can make do of more varieties at the buffet.

Right from checkin to the gentleman who helped with my luggage to the breakfast the next morning, which was really good to the gym and pool.

When I asked about it, they told me these were charges from earlier in the week that they had forgotten to post.

Something needs to be done about the facilities at this hotel cos it’s not worth the amount that is been charged at all.

Overall, I'll say it's not worth the rates they're charging.

but it was not only refused and staff asked me for one day  charges.

Just stepping back to walk outside and since the steps are not well demarcated, lost balance twice on the steps leading to the bar resulting in an Achilles injury.

Check out was bad with them not being able to give itemised invoice.

It’s over a week since I checked out and the hotel has not refunded my balance to my bank card.

My card didn't work and the lady at check-in got flustered and agitated instead of sorting out the situation.

Also, the minibar was not fully stocked when I arrived, and then I was charged for the ‘missing’ items during the stay.

although there may be a small charge added..

Only concern is that all International cards are charged in $USD rather than Naira.

but it was too late because my friends card would be debited if I had cancel.

I complained about the experience and got upgraded to the Presidential suite whose bed was stained,the chair in the balcony was damaged and they then tried to charge me for extending my stay.

At check in I was charged way and breakfast was not included meaning I had to pay extra for breakfast every morning, because reservation could not find my booking, and

I was handed the key card to my room which turned out to be a smoking room when a non-smoker room was requested.

I simply wanted written evidence of a zero balance at check-out which was never received and the hotel's explanation was nonsensical.

- i was charged $35/N13,000 for airport drop off.

From ironing my outfit at no charge because there were no ironing boards available, - to changing a menu item at the Terrance restaurant for me, nothing has been too much trouble for the team.

but might pass as overpriced, The staffs are hospitable but quite strict with the mask rule.

I was made to understand that they adjust their prices according to demand and I must have stayed when the demand was really high.

Shower water is brown and smelly, food is barely edible and overpriced, wifi doesn’t work, sound isolation is non-existent.

For the price of the stay and for the level hotel this is supposed to be it definitely disappointed me.

The were asking that I provide my car documents and pay a fee

Room was quite small not worth the price.

It is a tad pricey for a budget traveler like me

We used Booking.com, and there was no mention of added tax to the final hotel rate.

There appear to be newer properties for similar prices in the city.

Attention should be paid to cleaning and maintenance as my room had biscuit crumbs on the desk on the first night

The food itself was just so and I did not think it worth anyway the N11,000 I paid.

Fundamental issues at this hotel need to be addressed for its price (I paid  $170/night) and status as Radisson's upscale brand.

The Radisson remains a bit expensive in my mind.

Supervisor pays little attention to complaint and lacks empathy.

The maintenance is absent, the water out of the tap is yellow and smells of chlorine, the furniture are tattered, the hotel cannot print business documents unless prior notice is given, the food is average, the corridors smell of sewerage and vomit, the hotel has posted disclaimers in many areas (e.g.

The tap water was so bad we couldn’t even use it to brush, towel were in worst condition, toilet/bathroom was bringing unbearable smell like a sewage was burst open.

Worst hotel stay ever, The place in run down ( mold in the shower) the food quality is poor, no hot water for the shower, rooms not cleaned during the day, hotel has a towel crisis, you are lucky if you get 1 a day for 2 after numerous calls.

Again, you may consider smoking locations for your guests upstairs.

They should air out the rooms more often as well to prevent mold.

The room and floor smelt of damp, carpets filthy, sheets tattered and torn, room not cleaned properly, cups etc arrive covered in grime.

Spent one night, the room had a moldy/damp smell.

Wall geckos, spiders, cockroaches and other nasty cretins can hide and lurk behind these crevices, so this gap shouldn't have been left there.

the bathroom shower was leaking, the drainage was bad, after bath, the water stays in the bathroom draining little by little.

but the one on the second floor was fine although it had some smell.

There was a damp and sickening smell in the rooms.
