Our one major problem was with broken air conditioning, which took 5 days to get fixed.

The young girl behind the desk who greeted me had very broken English, and had no idea about the issues in the van

Only one minus - we found a lot of broken glass in sand at the beach.

The beach is rather dirty, with pieces of glass and broken toys.

Furniture was cheap and we had a broken bed (that we did not need).

The door to the shower and doors on kitchen cabinets were broken.

My sons bed was broken and kept collapsing in middle of the night.

You should be careful on the beach because dogs pooping and peeing there and also you find green broken glass, (0,25 ltr beer bottle?).

But it is getting worse each year just got back from the place only yesterday day with my family.firstly toilets are nowhere near the 5 star they promise no locks or broken locks on doors only cleaned in morning no toilet paper ever,most of toilet blocks are closed anyway so walk along way to the nearest one.2nd lighting is a big problem on camp site at night very dark in alot if areas and alot of pot holes to fall down.3rd very expensive for family's and last

but there are fag buts and broken glass in the water,so much so that in the space of 2 hrs two people were taken to hospital with severe cuts to the sole of their feet.There is a supermarket that charges the most outlandish prices..ie 2.96 for a litre of milk,1.80 for a can of coke.

Right from the arrival we were welcomed warmly and professionally by reception and directed  swiftly  to our lodge by friendly staff members.

Excellent staff  very friendly and helpful we had a problem with Air Con reported it and we had someone out to fix it within ten minutes.

The site is very clean and the staff are very friendly, especially in the Canopy Bar and the Restaurants on the beach.

The on site "Pic-nic" snack bar is also very value for money and you are served by efficient and friendly staff.

We found the staff all to be very pleasant and friendly and would have a conversation with you if you attempted a little french.

Were greeted by very friendly & pleasant staff who spoke a lot better English than I did French.

However, once we had got over that and breakages (door in kitchen, light, hot water) were fixed quickly and efficiently by the super friendly handyman we had a lovely time.

Horse rides at the park are amazing with a friendly petting area.

Port Grimaud is very pretty and wonderful to walk or boat about in, the village of Grimaud is also great for a visit and the views from the ruined castle are stunning, the staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful.

In summary, I enjoyed the holiday and would recommend this if you are into camping/caravanning/ self catering for the weather, location, friendly staff and good food and wine.

Toilet facilities are disgusting definitely could do with cleaning more so we just resorted going back to our mobile home.

The resort was generally well maintained and kept clean (the only problem being people with dogs who allowed them to toilet on the ground around the lodges and didn't clean up after them).

The only thing I missed is cleaning service and beach towels.

I personally would not stay here again as I had to clean 3 times a day,

A mid week cleaning is offered at a cost,

The glasses that were fixed on this weird storage thing on the wall weren't placed correctly by cleaner and fell off cutting my hand.

Nothing is included, no towels, no bed sheets, no cleaning, nothing.

The worst was that we got sick from the airconditioning that was never ever cleaned and in addition to dust had bacteria in it.

Very expensive bungalow, and remeber towels, linnen, "everyday" stuff like cleaning/tioletpaper etc, and cleaning needs to be paid for extra.

but bring your own toilet paper it often runs out, and the camping site its clearly overlooked compared to other areas, never saw them clean or cutting the grass or take rubbish away etc.

but to our annoyance we had our CC pre-charged a €200 deposit which would be returned to us on inspection of the caravan which we had to clean (despite not being provided with cleaning products and the van not being that clean when we entered it).

The Al Fresco reps were also slightly aloof expect when it came to us leaving and then we saw 3 in an hour - i assume they were eager to get us moving so the cleaning could we done.

We had to clean the caravan before we left and had our efforts inspected by the rep whilst she withheld our housekeeping cheque which was rather humilitating (guests are required to clean bathroom, fridge, oven, sweep floors etc).

but very run down, not much 'gardening' and general tidying up outside done here, very scruffy.

Groups of teenagers gather in the open space near the pool drinking, shouting, causing trouble and have no respect for families trying to sleep when they finally decide to walk back to their accommodation.

Even with earplugs, it was impossible to get a good night sleep.

We are literally next to a bar with music banging until 1am so no chance of sleep and relaxation.

but you would struggle to sleep 4 comfortably.

It was noisy as it was so central and you had to wait for music to stop at 11pm to sleep.

We woke and went to reception around 10am.

If you want more comfort you shoud book the Fare/Roka, my dad didn't sleep wel in Chloe, and the shower is small as well as the warmwater tank.

Stayed in a Rossini Riviera Luxe 2 bedroom that sleeps 6 people.

Besides a baby that had trouble sleeping we were very much annoyed by this.

but honestly, we only go in them to sleep so it hasn't bothered me at all.

We had a place for a tent as we travelled by motorbike, the ground is uneven so bring sleeping mats, there is no organisation as we were sent to look for a free space then go back and tell them the number.

At night, right up until sometimes 4am, the noise from the people leaving or arriving at the beach was horrendous, and we didn't once get a full night's sleep.

However they have entertainment every night right behind where we were (room 1001), one night it was very very loud awful disco music until 11pm meaning our baby couldn't sleep.

Not if you're on holiday for 10 days and would like to sleep!

There is also security staff around who check on things.

So we didn’t sleep at all well for the first half of our holiday and the lodge wasn’t a pleasurable place to be during that time.

The reception staff were always very helpful at all times.

it has everything you could  want on a holiday .we love the long bar especially happy hour the entertainment and staff  were very good.

but these were fixed quickly by site staff.

Overall given the size, it's a very well run, efficient park.

Real attention to detail, amazing facilities and staff, and a true home from home.

At reception, check-in was smooth and we immediately got given Prairies bracelets to wear which would allow us access to all the facilities not disimilar to an all-inclusive resort.

Ours was turned-out in a kind of Polynesian Tiki style.

not all towel owners are in the pool at that time.

However sunbeds would usually eventually become available possibly because there were signs up reminding people not to leave towels down.

We had to pay extra for the bed linens, and towels as we came unprepared.

safe not working, window broke, lights not working, shower door came off and injured my 3 year old daughter, dirty plates in cupboard, dirty towels in room, tv remote not working etc. etc.

Bed linen and towels were included in the caravan package.

The sheets and towels were changed on a weekly basis.

Also if you are staying longer than 7 nights you are given fresh towels and bed linen, little things like that make a difference.

but we declined as it did not include a change in the linens and towels.

Things to take with you: tea hand & bath towels, shower gel, washing up liquid, toiletries & a corkscrew!

It is completely equipped with linens, towels, dishwasher, fridge, stovetop and dining and cookware.

Do not supply tea towels, so bring your own.

So, my suggestion for anybody coming is to bring your own sheets and towels.

!,Beware of your hidden cost,towel packs,bed linen!!!

My husband used put our towels down at 8:30am just so we could be near the water.

A normal remote control would have sufficed and I would have found it more useful to be left a tea towel, cloth  & washing up liquid, things we had to buy then throw away.

We immediately saw small insects in the room and a moth in the shower.

They honestly could not have been more helpful and friendly - booking beach clubs and restaurants.

He is an absolute gem — knowledgeable about all things St. Tropez, friendly, patient, responsive, and beyond helpful in accommodating all of our requests, including offering recommendations for food, drinks, beach clubs, car services, etc, and making reservations.

This hotel is small and stunning with a lovely friendly team.

We have stayed at Le Yaca many times and love the charm, location and friendly welcome we always receive.

We stayed for three nights and the room as well as service was very nice and friendly.

We often eat in the restaurant here it’s Italian and in  a very pretty setting in a garden behind the hotel around the swimming pool, with lovely friendly service and delicious food, the special Yaca pasta dish is made in a large Parmesan cheese and is delicious, I always have the sea bass which is fresh and beautifully cooked.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff were all so kind and helpful and Mohammed recommended some of the best restaurants and clubs to us, also helping us with getting a reservation at the most popular places on our wish list.

My wife and I went to Saint-Tropez as part of our honeymoon and the staff at Le Yaca could not have been more pleasant or helpful.

And the most helpful concierge and hotel staff ever.

The staff is incredible and they make it feel as if you are staying at a private home.

The value for money is not there

- Structural soundproofing problems in the building (remember to bring earplugs so as not to hear room neighbours and corridor noises)

The property is spectacular, with the sweetest staff.

Le yaca is very lucky to have Mohammed as part of the staff.

The food was excellent and the service by all the staff was fantastic.

Room is serviced twice a day, with Bulgari toiletries left in abundance. The bellman was incredibly helpful (he even went up the road to get our car so we wouldn’t have to pay the parking meter!)

And so when you arrive at Le Yaca be ready to exhale and be transported to an unhurried, tranquil setting where the staff treat you like you have been their guest forever.

The concierge team knows the latest hot spots and can secure reservations at the beach clubs and local restaurants.

The hotel was hosting a wedding in the courtyard just outside our room.

The only negative aspect of my stay at Yaca was the poor WiFi, it was really substandard.

Lovely staff and lovely setting, however, our air-con and shower were broken, there was (effectively) no wifi - not essential

I was also surprised and happy to be able to access the Internet to check my email with my iPad without any problems.

If you invite a pretty young girl for Dinner there and are not able to caress her lips the same evening, you're hopeless.

When we complained the next morning, we were told that they do not have many weddings at the hotel. As we were departing, annoyed, having spent over $500 to be in the middle of a wedding party, and having a sleepless night, another young couple also complained that the band was "in their room."

(we were young 20 something guys in beach shape, so don't know what was wrong w/ their chairs)

Another asset: the free shuttle to the center of St. Tropez.

Parking for your car and a free car ride in and out of the main centre of St Tropez.

The pool area has a garden feel and is great when you want to just chill, if you like a good beach club Pompelonne beach is only a few minutes walk.

This is one if the most gorgeous soft, sandy beaches in all of France and Spain and free unless you must do a beach club.

At lunch time, some beach clubs in pamplonne offers truly good food,

It is not always easy to choose the right hotel for taking four children of varying ages away, especially when you do not want one with kids' clubs etc and prefer a more intimate atmosphere.

but at least they charge a more correct tariff.

but we didn't have a car and they do provide a shuttle bus but only untill 7pm with a charge of 5 euro's but we never saw one Taxi so we couldn't go out at night there.

They charged 20 euros for a small glass of kir royale, which I felt was extortionate (I would expect 10 absolute max).

We have been visiting this gem of a hotel for over 10 years - and as with other reviewers - we love it's location, it's genuine friendly "vibe" - it is a hotel with immense character offering good food, relaxing surroundings and it is run with impeccable charm and care by its owners and their staff - many of whom have remained with the hotel throughout the time we have visited.

A bit of a Sergio Leone hotel, by which I mean they charge "A Fistful of Dollars", or even, "A few Dollars more", OK , euros, and offer:

the Good: nice gardens, free beach towels, free shuttle to st tropez; 

the Bad: no AC in reception which is open to the kitchen making check out hot and sweaty; enclosed "terraces", private - 6' plus wall all round -

The only  efficiency can be found at the front desk where a permanent  staff is somewhat helpful.

Staff are super nice and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel's special feature is the Provencal charm of the location, the mostly pleasant guests (which is not normal in Saint Tropez) and the discreet service of Artur.

You feel a warm embrace from the entire staff upon entering the grounds.

They gave us a tour of the other rooms available and we got to pick.

but it is a pleasant change to return, via the hotel shuttle, to this wonderful haven after a day's sightseeing, sailing, shopping or people watching.

We stayed at this on a sunday night on our way back from Provence en route for catching the plane in Nice.

The pillows were old and fibre, and so thick uand uncomfortable and bumpy that I had to make my pillow out of a towel.

- minibar empty, you have to call the reception if you want sth to drink (but they arrive immediately with the bottle)
- old power outlet are uncomfortable
- unfortunately the wireless is sometimes very slow

BUT:
- our room did not have a window, just a glass on the door that gave us a bit of light
- the WI_FI is really rubbish and there was no mobile phone signal in our room

Wifi is not working, you can not even check the e-mail.

I highly recommend this place, the only down side was the wi-fi was extremely slow !

Although this hotel is mentioned in the Michelin guide as "amazing", some remarks:
- we stayed for 10 nights in a "Classic room"
- the room was rather small and dark (view on a wall) with walls made of paper (you hear really everything from the neighbors)
- bed was OK and airco is really fantastic
- WIFI doesn't work in the whole room!!

A very, very small shower with dark mold or missing grout.

Dark brown chocolate coloured walls are not the most inviting!

To compensate for its lack of space it was very, very dark.

This is a quiet, friendly hotel with good air conditioning and you'll get a good rest while being in the heart of the action.

The welcome from Dominique and her team is warm and friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble.

The ladies at the reception desk were all very friendly and helpful. As were all other staff (breakfast room, cleaning the room, etc.)

The room was okay, comfortable and clean, the main draw is the staff and the location, very friendly and ideally situated near the lovely town centre and the beach/port.

Above all, the staff, all of them (including the chamber maids), were exceptionally friendly and helpful, in particular Dominique, Claudia and Rachel on front desk.

Rooms lovely and clean, breakfast delicious and all the staff friendly and more than helpful.

Nothing is too much trouble for all the staff, friendly and generous, in light, airy and colourful surrounds.
