Clean property, lovely pool, shuttle to the beach clubs

even though our group sometimes  all departed separately to the same beach club.

The hotel provides complimentary car services to all the beach clubs to drop you off or pick you up.

The transport from the hotel to the beach clubs and back was always professional and reliable, and the same for restaurant reservations and airport transfers.

They guided us with great recommendations from beach clubs, dinners, etc and set up transportation for our next leg of the trip.

It is walking distance from everything except the beach,

Before arriving to Saint Tropez we were in communication with their concierge who helped us set up beach clubs/lunch/dinners/transportation, the entire concierge staff was amazing

They booked reservations for us in highly demanded restaurants and beach clubs with no hassle.

We were there at the height of the summer season and all the restaurants, beach club bookings were taken care of effortlessly.

You say the name Samuel at any beach club or restaurant  in town and the doors open up for you .Staying here feels like your home away from home .

Everything in town is within minutes walk, beach clubs are a 10 minute drive, the breakfast buffet and roof top bar are top notch.

Everywhere - from beach clubs to restaurants - was booked solid and whilst we made all our reservations ahead of time (we sent the concierge team an email and they responded within 24 hours despite it being so incredibly busy)  we did request changes and they bent over backwards to deliver.

Samuel took charge and got us into the very best beach clubs, restaurants and he even helped us book a private boat for a day trip cruising the French Riviera.

but not noisy so one can sleep very well 
- convenient shuttle service which brings you to the beach and back within a waiting time of 0-15 minutes 
- amazing rooftop terrace to enjoy beautiful sunsets 
- but MOST importantly it’s the chief concierge, Samuel, who takes care of everything so we don’t have to worry about a thing during our stay.

Importantly, the hotel provides free shuttle service to Pampelonne (and other) beaches, which is an excellent and valued service so you do not need a car; the driver also gives you a beach bag with large soft towels as well.

From then on, I relied on Samuel's expert advise for lunch, beach club and dinner reservations.

Thirdly is the quality of the logistics and shuttle service that covers the allez and retour for all our various beach and restaurant visits .As the saying goes it runs like an impeccable Swiss clock!This again is thanks to the obsession to details from Samuel and team .

Their house car was extremely helpful in the daily transport to the different beach clubs.

It was in the perfect location - close to all the shops and dinning.

you stay here to be in a great in-town location and have a concierge team that makes things happens.

It was the most expensive hotel during the stay and was certainly in a great location in Saint Tropez and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful.

I chose Hotel de Paris due to it’s central location in town and stellar reviews.

Service, Ambience, Location - all were exceptional.

They have run over to a restaurant to change my reservation when they weren’t picking up the phone.

The rooftop pool is so small I would call it a hot tub.

Actually from front desk through door man we felt a bit of attitude, there are something about this hotel I’d call ‘meanness’… clearly represented by the concierge guy.

I advise them over the phone and they supply us with something to plug into an outlet that kills then off.

On my second night the room next door was very loud on the balcony at 3 am and I had to call the reception to warn them for a multiple times.

When I asked her why she didn’t call me to tell me of her newly decided change of mind, she said she decided to wait until checkout.

however it would have been nice to have a kettle and some coffee in the room so we could have had a quick brew without ringing for room service.

there was a shuttle service to the beach and you could call them to pick you up.

We asked one day to be put on a waiting list and called in our room once a shaded area became available and no one bothered to call.

My husband was trying to arrange a surprise present for me from Chanel, unfortunately you can't purchase over the phone and they only had one left in the whole of Europe.

I made a phone call down to the concierge and requested a dinner reservation.

Sure enough the internet did not work and I had to go down to the lobby to answer some emails and a skpe call that I needed to make.

but on the 14th of July I had arranged to be picked up from Nikki beach in the afternoon and the rude staff at Nikki beach said they tried calling the hotel to arrange for pick up and the hotel said they would not be able to due to traffic.

The room directories were incomplete and we had to keep calling Reception for basic information.

Avoid this hotel at all your cost (especially fellow Americans)!

I will never come back to this property, will advise anyone from staying there as I am sure for the price point you are paying there are much better options in the area.

It definitely did not live up to our expectations or reflect the price tag.

Only drawback was the room which was very small - especially given the expensive rates we were paying in peak season.

And overall, things were unjustly expensive: I realise this is St. Tropez and is riddled with the super rich,

I know there are more expensive and more luxurious hotels in St Tropez.

I highly suggest no one stays here unless they like motel service at 5 star prices.

but the basic room is far too expensive (700euros) to be a 20m squared room with limited storage options.

Breakfast is not included and expensive (35 euro/person).

Bar was understated if not a little expensive and cant comment on food as I ate out.

but the price is not justified in my opinion

At a cost of 200 euros, I found it completely unacceptable.

On another occasion, Nicolas the hotel manager, personally walked a guest into the village to make sure they found the obscure photo location they were looking for, and personally paid for their items, as they did not have the proper currency on them at the time.

The hotel offers parking that considered the location is not very expensive.

but this didn't not compensate for the experience we had or overall cost of the stay.

Parking fees are €35,00 per night, which can get expensive if staying longer than a few days.

The food was fabulous and the views stunning.

In the heart of St. Tropez, just steps away from all the shops, port, markets and restaurants.

Cocktails & champagne … perfect start to a perfect evening!

Same with evening cocktails on the roof, a very nice spot to start the night.

They get reservations to the newest and most exclusive restaurants and will go to great lengths to ensure the guests have the most amazing time.

The concierge team is the best we have ever experienced as far as being thorough, detailed and able to get reservations at the top restaurants that during the high season,  are very difficult to get into.

The pool area is like the deck of a boat, we had a great lunch and breakfast.

They also serve breakfast on their rooftop restaurant which has the best ocean views.

He always has great recommendations as to where to eat, the nightlife sequence.

The staff is all phenomenal- from valet, to check in, restaurant staff, housekeeping (my room had never been so well organized) and especially to the Conciege Samuel and his entire team - we were blown away by the quality service.

Everyone from the housekeeping staff who cleaned the room, the front desk team, the room service crew and everyone we met throughout our stay was always smiling and so so helpful.

We got restaurants booked that usually take weeks in advance to arrange.

From the rooftop pool to the lobby lounge and spa, every detail is exceptional.

We enjoyed the rooftop pool in the afternoon with excellent service from the Weed staff.

The service throughout the stay was very good.

but they are very well thought out and the roof top pool is perfect for a pre breakfast dip!

The hotel has a beautiful rooftop pool and a bar which has amazing views of the port .

After the checkout, we could leave our lugage at the Hotel, went to the pool and beach and later in the evening we could still use all the factilties in the Hotel, (Spa, Shower, Rooftop Pool etc). Brilliant!

The roof top pool is great for an afternoon hangout with plenty of seating and a large restaurant as well.

I booked through Amex and received 2 x room upgrade on arrival which was fantastic.

We had an upgrade to a room with a balcony.

Ultimately, they made us stay for the whole vacation in this room.

This was our second stay at Hotel De Paris in Saint Tropez and upon departure we immediately reserved our room for next summer.

The rooms are smallish (normal for Europe), well appointed with Clarins products and the breakfast - included in the price of the room - is excellent and has something for everyone (continental plus hot food).

We highly appreciated our stay our room was modern, spacious and at the same time very homy.

The room was very spacious & contained all of the amenities and more that are expected from a 5 star hotel.

The real highlight of the  hotel is the concierge service headed by Samuel and his team.

This room was looking out to small alley/street.

When I got to my room it was very very small.

The room assigned to us was this tiny room with the only window looking over the next door bldg which is few meters away (making the room very dark)  So we asked if they can move us to better situated room in the same room category for the next 2 nights.

The only real problem is how small the rooms are.

The only thing we thought that was negative was the  rooms are on the small side.

but small with no real wow factor and small rooms.

our room was a bit small, and for more than $1000 per night, I would expect quality similar to PLAZA ATHENE OR 4 SEASONS GEORGE V in paris!

We were shown a tiny room (classic - $900US) with views of a cement wall and noise from the busy main street below.

but the rooms are so small and weren't significant at all.

Breakfast is a treat everyday and the spa is heavenly.

When the spa was booked for a massage, they worked to bring in an outside masseuse to provide services.

Thierry is a magician in the SPA and I wish I could export him to London for the winter months .He solved and helped a lot of my back ailments and flexibility !

The room has a clean feel to it, the bathroom is spacious and all the bathroom amenities is by Clarins, as it is the spa of the hotel.

The Spa experience was out of this world.

The treatment was one of the best I’ve had (combined massage & facial) and the use of the spa was lovely.

Very helpful staff and the spa was amazing.

Especially i want to point out the very kind and helpful staff in the hotel, regardless of whether the concierge, the reception or in the spa, the whole team was outstanding.

The spa staff who looked after us while waiting for our room and provided towels and additional Clarins products so we could freshen up.

There is a very convenient shuttle service to run you between town and the beach clubs and the food on-site was terrific.

Everyday we went out of the premises they would ask where we were headed and ensure we had everything we needed, including beach towels and a beach bag.

as a matter of fact all staff have been smiling and kind in all the restaurants and beaches we went to in Saint Tropez, a rather unusual and remarkable occurence in France!

Choose another hotel and do not give them credit card.

But when we tried, we were notified by the mixologist that if we drank our own champagne by the pool he would have to charge us a fee.

however in room dining and wine card could be better.

although we were informed it was included, the charge of about £70 per day was added to our bill.

We then had to handover our passports, car keys, credit card - which felt a bit like being taken into police custody - and may say something about the nature of guests' behaviour in and around St Tropez?!

but upon check out we were charged 78 euro.

The extra bottle of drinking water is charged too.

The grounds, pool are what you see, elegantly designed and very nice.

The pool was well-designed with separate sections for more privacy.

Chef Philippe made our experience very special with a savory, mouth-watering surprise menu and exquisite birthday dessert.

This is a peculiar place with tons of charm.

Staying in Hotel Sezz was an amazing experience from the wonderful  staff to the serene ambiance.

The ambiance is perfect for a dream vacation.

Overall, the hotel is beautifully designed and well-kept, the amenities are great, and importantly, the staff are truly amazing and go above and beyond!
