Great location and very close to the beach.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, nice bar, great pool, nice fitness facilities, great and well maintained gardens, quiet and nice location close to a beach and a 15–20 minutes walk to city centre.

brilliant hotel great location for day trips out the only thing is the menu of the hotel food was poor there was no variety of meals other than that It was a great place to stay the pool area was fantastic the view and scenery was good only a stone throw from sainte maxime and saint tropez  great beaches near bye

The location of the hotel just outside Sainte-Maxime and close to the beach is fantastic.

It is located in a nice place, close to the beach and some local shops.

Very close to the beach, less than a 10min walk and probably a 20-30min walk into the town where there are plenty of shops and fun things for adults and children to do.

The hotel is near to the coast and a beach, the city can be reached in 5 minutes by car.

The beach is at walking distance through the Botanical Garden.

The good part of the visit, The location of the hotel is good,the beach is close and free,reasonable parking,Housekeeping cleans everyday, and the rooms are clean.

Its near the beach, walkable to a lovely town, which itself has good beaches and restaurants, and avoids (or did when i was there) the traffic congestion that apparently can be a major problem in this part of France.

Hotel is very good, located in a very beautiful garden, just few steps from the beach.

The hotel is around 25 mins walk into town which was fine for us (there is a short-cut through the Botanical Gardens (ask ar reception) ).

The location of the hotel is gorgeous with lush gardens around and just a 5 min drive to the center of Saint maxime.

This hotel is really beautiful, it has a lot of open spaces and it’s really nice, a lot of gardens an a quite nice pool.

The hotel is surrounded by the local botanic garden, and the day time beach access is actually to walk through the garden.

All in all, we enjoyed the hotel, gardens and nearby beach for the one night that we stayed there.

From the hotel, you can walk through the adjacent botanical gardens and then you're at the beach.

Our room was relatively far from the lobby which offered a quiet setting and breathtaking views of the garden.

Grounds are pretty and back onto beautiful Botanical Gardens from which there is a short walk down to the beach.

A 10 minute walk through the botanical gardens and you are in Sainte Maxime.

This hotel is located in a quiet urban area about 20 minutes from the centre of St Maxime, and 5 minutes from the beach via the Botanical Gardens.

Swimming pool and garden were amazing, also the breakfast, our holiday was perfect!!!

Please note: Rooms are very simple with *no fridge or mini-bar* 

This visit was somewhat spoilt by an in room failure of the air conditioning system which blew out warm air all night meaning a sleepless night in 26 degree heat :-(

Areas for improvement; floor tiling around the bar and stairs and around the pool need replacing they are worn and chipped in many places,  install in-room fridges (there is even the space to do this), give guests free pool towels rather than hiring them out at 3e per day (hotel towels look nicer and more corporate anyway).

Hotel rooms should have been equipped with fridges and the triple room is not really suitable for three people.

but the lack of fridge was a surprise in this hot and sunny part of France.

The only cons I have for this hotel is that it did not have a refrigerator in the room and that all the superior quad/family rooms face the parking lot.

No fridge, room service or mini bar, and not very much options to order snacks of any sort in between meals, I don't believe they have a lunch menu either.

I think every hotel should provide a kettle for early ,or img tea and coffee, especially when they charge such an exorbitant amount for drinks in the bar or by the pool.

There is no Minibar or fridge in the rooms, No coffee facilities.

The only negative comments I would make concern the lack of a fridge in the rooms, a comment which appears on a lot of reviews and something which would, I'm sure, be appreciated by clients.

Only thing missing was a  mini bar or fridge in the room would have been very welcome.

This is an ok three star hotel with a beautiful pool area and a nice view from the pool side rooms on the second (which is the highest) floor.

The pool area was nice, clean, with enough lounge beds and parasols.

After we checked out we were still able to use the pool area and had use of a shower downstairs which was really good.

The outside pool area is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen- fantastic pool and loads of sun loungers with the backdrop of the lovely gardens.

I agree with a previous reviewer that Poor Management is to blame for the poor service in this hotel.

This hotel in my opinion lacks poor management skills.

No one to help you with your lugagge and sometimes the cleaning was poor.

the rooms are tiny, no luggage service, no elevators, lot of stairs to climb up.

The room was tiny, one of us had to sit in the bed if the other one wished to move around.

however, that; the rooms are small (which is a challenge for long stays) and have no minibar/fridge (should you want to buy your own water and not pay 4x the price at the hotel), the poolside is busy, the gym is not a gym (as advertised), the breakfast is expensive (and there are few alternatives close by) and the food at the hotel restaurant is not the best.

Location is right by the harbour and fabulous shops and restaurants.

Clean property, lovely pool, shuttle to the beach clubs

even though our group sometimes  all departed separately to the same beach club.

The hotel provides complimentary car services to all the beach clubs to drop you off or pick you up.

The transport from the hotel to the beach clubs and back was always professional and reliable, and the same for restaurant reservations and airport transfers.

They guided us with great recommendations from beach clubs, dinners, etc and set up transportation for our next leg of the trip.

It is walking distance from everything except the beach,

Before arriving to Saint Tropez we were in communication with their concierge who helped us set up beach clubs/lunch/dinners/transportation, the entire concierge staff was amazing

They booked reservations for us in highly demanded restaurants and beach clubs with no hassle.

We were there at the height of the summer season and all the restaurants, beach club bookings were taken care of effortlessly.

You say the name Samuel at any beach club or restaurant  in town and the doors open up for you .Staying here feels like your home away from home .

Everything in town is within minutes walk, beach clubs are a 10 minute drive, the breakfast buffet and roof top bar are top notch.

Everywhere - from beach clubs to restaurants - was booked solid and whilst we made all our reservations ahead of time (we sent the concierge team an email and they responded within 24 hours despite it being so incredibly busy)  we did request changes and they bent over backwards to deliver.

Samuel took charge and got us into the very best beach clubs, restaurants and he even helped us book a private boat for a day trip cruising the French Riviera.

but not noisy so one can sleep very well 
- convenient shuttle service which brings you to the beach and back within a waiting time of 0-15 minutes 
- amazing rooftop terrace to enjoy beautiful sunsets 
- but MOST importantly it’s the chief concierge, Samuel, who takes care of everything so we don’t have to worry about a thing during our stay.

Importantly, the hotel provides free shuttle service to Pampelonne (and other) beaches, which is an excellent and valued service so you do not need a car; the driver also gives you a beach bag with large soft towels as well.

From then on, I relied on Samuel's expert advise for lunch, beach club and dinner reservations.

Thirdly is the quality of the logistics and shuttle service that covers the allez and retour for all our various beach and restaurant visits .As the saying goes it runs like an impeccable Swiss clock!This again is thanks to the obsession to details from Samuel and team .

Their house car was extremely helpful in the daily transport to the different beach clubs.

They have run over to a restaurant to change my reservation when they weren’t picking up the phone.

The rooftop pool is so small I would call it a hot tub.

Actually from front desk through door man we felt a bit of attitude, there are something about this hotel I’d call ‘meanness’… clearly represented by the concierge guy.

I advise them over the phone and they supply us with something to plug into an outlet that kills then off.

On my second night the room next door was very loud on the balcony at 3 am and I had to call the reception to warn them for a multiple times.

When I asked her why she didn’t call me to tell me of her newly decided change of mind, she said she decided to wait until checkout.

however it would have been nice to have a kettle and some coffee in the room so we could have had a quick brew without ringing for room service.

there was a shuttle service to the beach and you could call them to pick you up.

We asked one day to be put on a waiting list and called in our room once a shaded area became available and no one bothered to call.

My husband was trying to arrange a surprise present for me from Chanel, unfortunately you can't purchase over the phone and they only had one left in the whole of Europe.

I made a phone call down to the concierge and requested a dinner reservation.

Sure enough the internet did not work and I had to go down to the lobby to answer some emails and a skpe call that I needed to make.

but on the 14th of July I had arranged to be picked up from Nikki beach in the afternoon and the rude staff at Nikki beach said they tried calling the hotel to arrange for pick up and the hotel said they would not be able to due to traffic.

The room directories were incomplete and we had to keep calling Reception for basic information.

Avoid this hotel at all your cost (especially fellow Americans)!

I will never come back to this property, will advise anyone from staying there as I am sure for the price point you are paying there are much better options in the area.

It definitely did not live up to our expectations or reflect the price tag.

Only drawback was the room which was very small - especially given the expensive rates we were paying in peak season.

And overall, things were unjustly expensive: I realise this is St. Tropez and is riddled with the super rich,

I know there are more expensive and more luxurious hotels in St Tropez.

I highly suggest no one stays here unless they like motel service at 5 star prices.

but the basic room is far too expensive (700euros) to be a 20m squared room with limited storage options.

Breakfast is not included and expensive (35 euro/person).

Bar was understated if not a little expensive and cant comment on food as I ate out.

but the price is not justified in my opinion

At a cost of 200 euros, I found it completely unacceptable.

On another occasion, Nicolas the hotel manager, personally walked a guest into the village to make sure they found the obscure photo location they were looking for, and personally paid for their items, as they did not have the proper currency on them at the time.

The hotel offers parking that considered the location is not very expensive.

but this didn't not compensate for the experience we had or overall cost of the stay.

Parking fees are €35,00 per night, which can get expensive if staying longer than a few days.

From the rooftop pool to the lobby lounge and spa, every detail is exceptional.

We enjoyed the rooftop pool in the afternoon with excellent service from the Weed staff.

The service throughout the stay was very good.

but they are very well thought out and the roof top pool is perfect for a pre breakfast dip!

The hotel has a beautiful rooftop pool and a bar which has amazing views of the port .

After the checkout, we could leave our lugage at the Hotel, went to the pool and beach and later in the evening we could still use all the factilties in the Hotel, (Spa, Shower, Rooftop Pool etc). Brilliant!

The roof top pool is great for an afternoon hangout with plenty of seating and a large restaurant as well.

The room was very clean; linens and towels were high quality and sleep was very comfortable.

Secondly is the room cleanliness and speed of service that we experience in the midst of a busy season .Impeccable cleanliness and superb housekeeping and room service .

The room has a clean feel to it, the bathroom is spacious and all the bathroom amenities is by Clarins, as it is the spa of the hotel.

We stayed on the 2nd floor in a nice clean room with a little view out to the harbour.

The bed was extremely comfortably, fluffy pillows, fresh crisp linen, spotless room with consistency, night service with turn down and attention to detail in aspects of the hotel.

This room was looking out to small alley/street.

When I got to my room it was very very small.

The room assigned to us was this tiny room with the only window looking over the next door bldg which is few meters away (making the room very dark)  So we asked if they can move us to better situated room in the same room category for the next 2 nights.

The only real problem is how small the rooms are.

The only thing we thought that was negative was the  rooms are on the small side.

but small with no real wow factor and small rooms.

our room was a bit small, and for more than $1000 per night, I would expect quality similar to PLAZA ATHENE OR 4 SEASONS GEORGE V in paris!

We were shown a tiny room (classic - $900US) with views of a cement wall and noise from the busy main street below.

but the rooms are so small and weren't significant at all.

Breakfast is a treat everyday and the spa is heavenly.

The refined elegance of the hotel offers a contemporary architecture and ambience, a majestic lobby, lovely rooms with divine bedding, and luxurious towels, twice daily housekeeping service, a beautiful spa and a stunning rooftop terrace with a pool, bar, and restaurant, a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

When the spa was booked for a massage, they worked to bring in an outside masseuse to provide services.

Thierry is a magician in the SPA and I wish I could export him to London for the winter months .He solved and helped a lot of my back ailments and flexibility !

The Spa experience was out of this world.

The treatment was one of the best I’ve had (combined massage & facial) and the use of the spa was lovely.

Very helpful staff and the spa was amazing.

Especially i want to point out the very kind and helpful staff in the hotel, regardless of whether the concierge, the reception or in the spa, the whole team was outstanding.

The spa staff who looked after us while waiting for our room and provided towels and additional Clarins products so we could freshen up.

We were recommended a beach club La Voile by reception which is superb and sun-beds and lunch there are a treat.

You are also in easy reach of many beaches and a short boat ride to St Tropez
For a hotel that can offer you all you need for a holiday then book in here.

We also made a trip to the local beach again in the evening - the location is superb.

When we opened the door to our suite we immediately had views of the beautiful waters of St. Tropez Bay.
