The room was a shock with the bathroom having a sliding frosted glass door that left little to the imagination.

Then there is a sliding glass door (60% frosted / 40% translucent) separating the room from the toilets and shower.

Some might not like the open bathroom with the glass door,

but a little bite noisy due to the door closing.

but I just mention it to point out how noisy the doors were when closing, and you can't close them without a slam).

All staff very welcoming, polite and friendly.

The range and quality of food was excellent, and staff very friendly and helpful.

Hardly any English here which can be a nice change as everyone is very friendly.

The staff are very friendly and helpful particularly around the pool area and at Dinner.

though it wasn’t an easy place to get, everyone at the hotel is so lovely and friendly, it makes up for it.

Most staff are really helpful and friendly, the bar staff (David & Lili) always welcomed you with warmth which is a refreshing change from other all inclusive hotels we have stayed, this was also the same for the restaurant staff always making you feel welcome 😊

The animation team tried hard to provide activities despite the hotel being quiet

Fabulous hotel, good size, friendly staff that will do their best to help and do speak partial English, the guy with the goatie and the young girl on the bar were very friendly!

We are a family with to little children who has been in this hotel for 10 days this september (2010)

First of all I have to say:

Thank you to all the people working in the hotel for their quick response and excellent service (I would rate it 5 star hotel from that point of view), they are quick, efficent, friendly and very professional.

The owners are a family from Ireland and we were amazed how friendly and open they were.

Amazing holiday especially if travelling with children.

It was very noticeable how many kids were walking around with strapped up toes after he cut his feet.

We’ve (my 9 yr old daughter & me) been to Oliveres four times now & always had a great time.

Yes, it has many pools which is fun for the kids and the rooms are decent size with comfortable beds.

We visited Les Oliver’s in July 2018 the food is delicious and you spoiled for choice, there is planty to do for kids the animation team is brilliant (Chocolate is the best) the rooms are clean and spacious you will need a car to get out and about, and the beach is fantastic by the hotels will definitely come back.

Chocolate, Calimero and Ariadna were very helpful and great fun for the kids.

The pools were amazingly and the kids club staff were the nicest people you could wish to meet.

The highlights of our stay were the children's and adult activities, food, pools, and location.

Good for holidays not only with children.

I would recommend this hotel for the families with children.

ALL the staff at the hotel were excellent, very friendly and helpful. I was going to give the hotel 4 stars due to the little niggles such as the restaurant at breakfast, and too many kids,

but to have an active time with the kids.

The animation team was pretty dedicated and kind to the children.

Huge selection of food - sweet, meat, also for kids.

My son took a shine to many staff due to their friendliness towards him (Alfi, pool life guard, Melissa to name a few) 

The area is beautiful with path providing access around the beach area.

Is a very good hotel for the family , especially for kids .

My children loved everything from the numerous numbers of swimming pool, tennis, mini golf, face painting, children’s disco, foam party, and the list could go on and on.

The pool area is amazing with 7 different ones to choose from.

The pool area is fine except that the edges of the pools are falling apart and at some parts even hurt you feet when walking over it.

Wi Fi worked and pool area had ample beds and things to do.

The pool area was amazing, we found our place at the end of the complex, closest to the sea and it was really very private considering the amount of people staying at the hotel - it was full.

Scuba diving trials in pools, yoga, Pilates on lawn
Entertainment every night, illusion act with massive snakes was good and flamenco dancers
Beach was small

Other houses extended beyond the pool area

but did not hear any traffic at all throughout the stay.

Room tip:
I’d recommend 2nd or if possible 3rd floor (bear in mind there are not many lifts and they can be quite slow tho) to be a bit further away from the noise.

but still guests should not have to experience that and should be offered a room change or gifted a night considering we were awaken by the sound of beating water on our roof.

It was very noisy in the evenings as well as many children are up past midnight!

I did not hear of this combination between tennis and squash before

You cannot sleep with open window, it is very noisy outside until 1 am and later.

The corridors are tiled in tiles and very very noisy at night.time.

+Ali from the front desk at the restaurant was very kind and made us feel welcomed
- the entertaining is in the basement,stinks of mould and u can’t breath.

From the reception staff, bartenders, lifeguards, restaurant and entertainment staff, I can honestly say I have never been made to feel more welcomed and comfortable.

A huge thankyou to all the staff  for making our holiday so enjoyable,  especially the entertainment leader, the manager who was very kind hearted in our time of need.

The manager of the Hotel went out of his way to sort us out of a problem which we were in, so top marks for him .also the animation leader was brilliant, and all in all, All the staff.Maids/waiters/reception/animation team and the restaurant doormen, Sorry IF I missed anyone, ALL THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT A Big thanks from Claire Palmer and family, room 139, and Stuart/Trudy Massey room 308.

So much to do, the entertainment, amusement, pools, activites.

As previous reviews have mentioned, the animation team are very good.

Everyone at the hotel is also very helpful and understanding which makes it even more better.

The hotel was fantastic, the staff were great spoke very little English

The hotel could benefit from having some details in the reception regarding locations nearby to visit such as the cove for snorkelling, Far Del Fanger, bus stops, how to order taxis etc as the families we spoke to were unaware what they could do outside the hotel.

but when we got there it was closed after spending 200 euros on 2 taxis and didn't have a clue what to do.

In fact, if you have a look at a map of Catalonia you'll see that the hotel is in Perelló, a village near Delta de l'Ebre, so if you come by plane, you'll have to take a taxi which can cost you a fortune.

taxi driver dropped us off at wrong hotel in salou so we had to get another taxi which took 50mins from salou .

We have just returned from a week stay at the Les oliveres beach resort, having had to get a train and a taxi to get there.

Nearest tiny city with cash machine is about 2.5miles
+ 7 swimming pools and no fights about sunbeds,no need to put a towel at 5am
- all inclusive drinks are like water with 5%alkohol
+ beach is next to the hotel

Mainly Spanish and French guests, Sunbeds always available, no early towel reservation needed!

Beach towels 10euro deposit so take your own.

Moreover, the rooms are really dirty, hair in the bathroom, dirty towels from the beginning , dirt on the floor, refrigerator full of water and so on.

We were satisfied with balcony seaview and tried also indoor pool and sauna (didn't understand how it worked) at the evening, because our son asked us to do that.

Our room was pleasant, the bed comfortable, and there was a balcony, which gave us a sideways view of the sea.

Nice rooms with balcony, the sea is right in fron of the place, garage parking with access to the hotel, magnificent breakfast buffet and all of that for a fair price.

I'm sure all the rooms on the floors below had excellent views of the town and sea and might have been bigger - they certainly had balconies.

Even the standard rooms at the back of the hotel have sea views from the balcony.

The rooms are spacious and airy and the balcony with sea view is great to wake up to.

Pristine décor throughout the hotel and my room was without fault, especially as I had a balcony with chairs and table (and very close) sea/beach views with the usual accoutrements presented and room space - with the added bonus of a building (now 10 years old) that certainly retains its freshness!

The windows opened onto a small, furnished balcony with views of the bay and harbour.

At least a kettle to make a tea/coffee, never mind an iron.

We had a faulty hair dryer and we're promised someone would come look athit and were given a replacement.

No tissues, hairdryer stopped working etc. etc.

Always reliable, always trustworthy and always friendly.

Hotel is lovely and quiet with friendly efficient staff, it is right across from a lovely little beach.

If I'd had one of the rooms on the floors below, this review would be much more positive, because the hotel is actually quite good and the staff really friendly and helpful.

A small hotel staff were friendly welcoming and found me a room on a very busy week for the town.

Lovely hotel with beautiful sea views, staff were warm and friendly and very hospitable, food was good and location perfect for walks and local restaurants and bars.

The young lady on reception was delightful, exceptionally friendly and polite.

When we arrived the lady at reception was helpful and friendly.

We could park our car near the hotel for free and were received by an English speaking and friendly staff.

The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast well presented with nice food including bacon and sausage which made me happy.

Children running amok behind reception during check in (we were told that they were the managers children, so that must be acceptable then?

but Manager avoided us throughout our 3 days even when we demanded to speak with her. Beware.

The restaurant’s food was good overall,

I enjoyed the fresh orage juice and all the rest of food.

I know that you do not need a huge menu –

They also have the restaurant at the same place where they have a big tv screen where people watch football and it is quite noisy.

Breakfast was probably so good, that croissants basket was empty before we finished eating.

Nice restaurant and good selection of breakfast food.

At least this will give all the restaurant and reception staff a chance to put on their work clothes, pick up a paint brush and get working on giving the exterior of this supposed ‘four star’ hotel a much needed face lift.

but on the Sunday evening of our four night stay we used the hotel restaurant.

There are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants along the promenade,

but other meals are 'a la carte' food prepared to order which is a lovely change from the usual tasteless buffet.

but the city is not really welcoming we travelled with our lovely dog and we ve been rejected almost from all restaurants .

On the trip down we opted for the evening meal which was €17 each

The centre of the town is only 800 meters away and offers a lot of sunny terrasses and good food, including fish and Paella of course.

( 17 euros pp 3 courses) Well worth eating there if you like the choices !

but the food we had was delicious, the Iberian pork was exceptional, the restaurant has wonderful sea and marina views.

After a long drive, we decide to have dinner in the hotel.

Overall the food exceeded my expectations.

It was too cold for the outside pool, and the indoor pool is a bit on the small side, and I didn’t like the fact that you had to buy/wear a bathing hat to use it.

But, the hotels garbage bins are right under it, so the smell was horrible.

If you get the sea view, you are lucky, otherwise the back is pretty owful, old stale appartments and service  entrance below is all you get, plus the constant noise of a fun going in nonstop from dawn to dust (late midnight).

They were all very helpful and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble.

The staff were lovely, the lady waiting on in the restaurant was very helpful and efficient.

I REALY RECOMAND this place for the lovely staff. .

We are ex hotel owners in UK so know a little about general standards.

- I would recommend the cleaning staff to be more energetic at their job.

Old sock next to bed, slime on the wale and on the mirrors 
Wifi signal close to non existing, an old non commercial router placed in the middle of the reception.

The location is superb and the staff is wonderful

but the receptionist was most helpful, and checked us in and looked after our bags while we went into town.

A modern, clean and comfortable place with helpful staff and a good location.

The hotel is very attractive, and the assistance provided by the staff (that speak excellent English) is most helpful.

Great location, 5* staff all that would improve it would be tea and coffee facilities.

but since there are no ACCOR  Hotels in Cyprus,I am obliged to stay in any convinient Hotel.overlooking the sea and close to the airport with reasonable price as We stay 2 months and sometimes 4 months one go.

I prefered swimming in the sea and tried this next morning.

We stayed in a junior suite which was very nice and overlooks the sea front and small harbour.

The hotel has a fabulous location right on the sea front with views of the Marina and the Deltebre.

but we could also see the sea, which was nice to sit out in the evening (even though it was slightly chilly!!)!

Rooms are spacious and well equipped with a lovely view over the sea.

Relaxed by the pool and had lunch in the terrace restaurant with stunning views.

Highly recommended, the owner she cooked for us as if we were family, beautiful room, incredible breakfast.

Wonderfully restored old mill, with a fantastic room, great toiletries, floofy bathrobes and slippers, and the best hotel breakfast I've ever had.

Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and freshly squeezed orange juice!.

Diana and her family are very friendly and offer a fantastic breakfast each morning.

Individually home made breakfast with pancakes a speciality.

The breakfast was excellent, we could choose from a buffet as much as we could eat.

Cannot fault Hostal La Panavera, excellent cooked breakfast accompanied by fresh orange juice - plenty of bread, pastries etc.

You can tell they take pride in the place and rightly so - even down to freshly squeezed orange juice as ordered for breakfast.

The rooms are very nicely furnished in a traditional style and the breakfast is prepared to order for you.

Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped.

She prepared a very good breakfast, with fresh squeezed OJ, coffee, omelettes and pannekoeken, an interesting scandinavian dish.

The owners are friendly, rooms are beautiful and clean, and the breakfast is homemade (literally)!

It is Impecably clean, serves excellent breakfast and has very warm and flexible hosts who speak several languages.

Every detail had been considered, even down to a paper with our excellent breakfast.

Wi-Fi was excellent, the made to order breakfast superb.

Breakfast was nice etc,nothing too much trouble for staff.

She also made a great breakfast every morning.

The owners were very friendly, and on check -out, presented us with little jars of the local honey and olive oil as a thank you.

The host was most welcoming, friendly and helpful, both to us and our dog.

Diana, the Proprietess was very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Staff polite and very friendly, would recommend and would definitely stay there again.

but with an interesting history and also a great wee tapas bar in the centre with stunningly good food and friendly staff
