The staff seem to work long hours with the same people serving breakfast and then working in the restaurant and bar in the evening.

We had a faulty hair dryer and we're promised someone would come look athit and were given a replacement.

No tissues, hairdryer stopped working etc. etc.

It was too cold for the outside pool, and the indoor pool is a bit on the small side, and I didn’t like the fact that you had to buy/wear a bathing hat to use it.

But, the hotels garbage bins are right under it, so the smell was horrible.

If you get the sea view, you are lucky, otherwise the back is pretty owful, old stale appartments and service  entrance below is all you get, plus the constant noise of a fun going in nonstop from dawn to dust (late midnight).

This was on the small side and only had a ceiling window.

It may be worth saying we were in an attic room, so no view or windows, only a skylight,

but just ok we were woken really early in the morning by trains that sounded as if they were just outside the back wall of the hotel, as we only had one window in the roof we were not aware that they were just outside the back wall of the hotel.

Highly recommended, the owner she cooked for us as if we were family, beautiful room, incredible breakfast.

Wonderfully restored old mill, with a fantastic room, great toiletries, floofy bathrobes and slippers, and the best hotel breakfast I've ever had.

The breakfast was excellent, we could choose from a buffet as much as we could eat.

Cannot fault Hostal La Panavera, excellent cooked breakfast accompanied by fresh orange juice - plenty of bread, pastries etc.

You can tell they take pride in the place and rightly so - even down to freshly squeezed orange juice as ordered for breakfast.

The rooms are very nicely furnished in a traditional style and the breakfast is prepared to order for you.

Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were comfortable, immaculately clean and well equipped.

She prepared a very good breakfast, with fresh squeezed OJ, coffee, omelettes and pannekoeken, an interesting scandinavian dish.

The owners are friendly, rooms are beautiful and clean, and the breakfast is homemade (literally)!

It is Impecably clean, serves excellent breakfast and has very warm and flexible hosts who speak several languages.

Every detail had been considered, even down to a paper with our excellent breakfast.

Wi-Fi was excellent, the made to order breakfast superb.

Breakfast was nice etc,nothing too much trouble for staff.

She also made a great breakfast every morning.

The place is not easy to find using a satnav, and parking is not easy,

If that is the case then park nearby and walk the last 50 yards until you see the signs for the property.

A couple of points to note: this is a B&B and not a full-fledged hotel so don't expect a staffed front desk, room service or an elevator.

In fact, we were on our way up the coast from Malaga to Barcelona and chose El Perello as a stopping point.

but will probably use this hotel as starting point and not a road stop!

It is a little hard to find from the main road,

It is about a 15 minute drive off the main road and the town of El Perello has very narrow, one way streets, so be prepared and be patient!

After a long day of travel, we were ready to get off the road and find a room in a small town.

We stayed on an 'all inclusive' package and the food each day was varied and delicious.

Good food choices at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Mr Chocolat’ is a top guy & really is one of the reasons we come each year😍
The food is consistently good with plenty of choices both healthy & indulgent.

Restaurant buffet is okay, could be better.

We visited Les Oliver’s in July 2018 the food is delicious and you spoiled for choice, there is planty to do for kids the animation team is brilliant (Chocolate is the best) the rooms are clean and spacious you will need a car to get out and about, and the beach is fantastic by the hotels will definitely come back.

The restaurant is also exciting, the meat is do it at the moment and it's a buffet.

Our stay included breakfast and dinner and I highly recommend it.

Drinks were full sized also, not in small kiddies cups you get at many of these all inclusive places.

In the restaurant, the food id delicious with lots of choice and there is plenty of it.

The room was a shock with the bathroom having a sliding frosted glass door that left little to the imagination.

Then there is a sliding glass door (60% frosted / 40% translucent) separating the room from the toilets and shower.

Some might not like the open bathroom with the glass door,

but a little bite noisy due to the door closing.

but I just mention it to point out how noisy the doors were when closing, and you can't close them without a slam).

but did not hear any traffic at all throughout the stay.

Room tip:
I’d recommend 2nd or if possible 3rd floor (bear in mind there are not many lifts and they can be quite slow tho) to be a bit further away from the noise.

but still guests should not have to experience that and should be offered a room change or gifted a night considering we were awaken by the sound of beating water on our roof.

It was very noisy in the evenings as well as many children are up past midnight!

I did not hear of this combination between tennis and squash before

You cannot sleep with open window, it is very noisy outside until 1 am and later.

The corridors are tiled in tiles and very very noisy at night.time.

The hotel could benefit from having some details in the reception regarding locations nearby to visit such as the cove for snorkelling, Far Del Fanger, bus stops, how to order taxis etc as the families we spoke to were unaware what they could do outside the hotel.

but when we got there it was closed after spending 200 euros on 2 taxis and didn't have a clue what to do.

In fact, if you have a look at a map of Catalonia you'll see that the hotel is in Perelló, a village near Delta de l'Ebre, so if you come by plane, you'll have to take a taxi which can cost you a fortune.

taxi driver dropped us off at wrong hotel in salou so we had to get another taxi which took 50mins from salou .

We have just returned from a week stay at the Les oliveres beach resort, having had to get a train and a taxi to get there.

Nearest tiny city with cash machine is about 2.5miles
+ 7 swimming pools and no fights about sunbeds,no need to put a towel at 5am
- all inclusive drinks are like water with 5%alkohol
+ beach is next to the hotel

Mainly Spanish and French guests, Sunbeds always available, no early towel reservation needed!

Beach towels 10euro deposit so take your own.

Moreover, the rooms are really dirty, hair in the bathroom, dirty towels from the beginning , dirt on the floor, refrigerator full of water and so on.

Food at the restaurant was excellent and breakfast the selection was great, including a hot if wanted.

The breakfast is an abundant  buffet with several types of food  (fresh fruit, cereals, bread and diferent types of salami,  eggs,  sausage, Bacon, muffins and sweet pastas) all with a very good quality.

Not to forget a good continental breakfast and free bikes!

but OK for one or two nights if you are not tall, I am 5' 6" and I just fit in ok.  Breakfast was OK and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very good food including a hot breakfast (although limited in choice) if you do not wish to eat as the locals do.

The hotel is set in a nice garden and the pool looked lovely .We tried the 5 course tasting menu in the evening which was delicious as was the wine and breakfast offered plenty of choice.

but as with all buffet style only just warm, if you can find the butter at breakfast let me know as we searched everywhere.

In my view the rooms of this hotel are in need of complete renovation.

but these seem to smell worse than the damp!

Only one lift out of the four worked and the air on each floor was stagnant and you just felt you wanted a shower with in minutes of arrival.

but in fact it is not true - quite small, bathroom is not renovated, old water control equipment which were partially broken/damaged).

Rather than small gel containers, the shower had a gel dispenser, which is not particularly a classy detail.

Apart from the fact that:
- there was only one power point in the room, which was for the TV and one in the bathroom;
- I couldn't open the cupboard door to get things into the cupboard to hang;
- no safe ( not all hotels have one anyhow);
- the flat pillows;
- water splashes everywhere in the bathroom;
- couldn't open the bin in the bathroom; 
- lnconsistent intermitent Wi-fi.

but everything worked if some were only just hanging in there, shower by 1 screw, curtain rail by good luck etc!

By midnight we could not sleep because of the smell( possibly drains) so we asked for a room transfer which was marginally better

The rooms were what you would expect clean quite roomy the only downside was the smell from the toilet that at times was quite strong,

but the bathroom was a bit damaged, not well cleaned (shower).

- an nauseating (sewers) smell in some (bath)rooms that they didn't seem to be able to cope with.

but it is far away from this quality, at least in regards to the amenities they provide.

I missed the free cava and orange juice for breakfast.

Food was delicious and lots of options for everyone.

Very friendly and helpful staff, buffet meals to cover all tastes with lovely food and pkenty of it .

The restaurant is great and they have really good buffet.

Food/meal is quite good, many different dishes, fruits, yogurts, vegetables,  meat.

but they were a force to be reckoned with when sharing the buffet meals.

The room was big and the buffet breakfast and dinner was ok.

but far enough away on the sea to be quiet, cheap parking for our car €5-., generous breakfast.

Breakfast was included in the price and I have never seen so many people in a restaurant in my life before.

Breakfast is good and the other meals also, actually the Dinner is very good with lots of variety and good quality products.

Breakfast: we took just breakfast option and you should do the same as there are plenty of place in L'Ametlla de Mar to eat good and cheap.

Our all-inclusive package gave us three meals per day, where the buffet style presentation gave a nice range & plentiful supply of foods to suit all the family.

also, breakfast bread & croissants were somewhat stale.

And the carpet in 5th floor is dirty with bad smell .

We parked our car and as soon as we walked in the stench of the smell was over whelming.

The hotel's solution for that is having an automated dispenser throw some sort of perfume at fixed intervals.

but useable but a strong smell of sewerage in the area so again not too keen to use!!

The room we were allocated had a very obnoxious smell.

The hotel was basically in the middle of no where.The beach was not sand it was nasty gravel.The pool was freezing .The food was cold ,it had to be microwaved at every meal time .

Breakfasts were delicious, and enjoyed an outstanding dinner one night, prepared on the premises.

Relax by the fire in the common area, and enjoy a nice breakfast.

The food is superb, we had dinner and breakfast, definitely worth eating in as there isn't anywhere else nearby.

Breakfast consists of pastries plus bread and ham and cheese.

So in case of problems you can count on them.

though you might be better served renting closer to coastal areas, depending on your destination.

You need at least a couple of nights here to investigate the bird life, people were also walking or cycling.

Quite a good choice for the breakfast buffet.

Last day I ordered sandwiches from the reception, and they gave me giant, delicious bagetts.

We finally parked the car on the street and walked around until we found it.

My only negative experience was the poor ventilation in the bathroom, which caused the bedroom to get very humid (it was rainy outside, so opening the windows was not possible).

Free wi-fi and the staff is so helpful (except the one on the phone when we were trying to find the hotel, the language was a problem).

Breakfast was very enjoyable sitting in the courtyard.

More than expected for super cheap price, deco, breakfast, wifi, staff, warmth, location, everything was taken care of and you pay attention to details, it's a 10.

Breakfast is tasty and plentiful, I think I will return home several kg heavier!

They now serve a very simple breakfast, with coffee, toast, jams, and juice.

Very reasonably priced , clean room, modern, comfortable and a nice breakfast room.

After a very peaceful night's sleep, the breakfast that awaited us was superb.

The front door is closed for a few hours in the afternoon,

The area is predominately fish diet and we are vegetarians and so needed to find self catering accommodation.
