Average meal costs 50ZL for starter and main which is £10 for 2 courses in the main areas .

The breakfast is average and the famous bagels were never available on the two mornings I was there.

This cost 10 pln the average cost is 2pln from the shop so should have provided two still water.

ok it served the purpose breakfast was average rooms were small gym was very basic.This hotel seemed more of a business travel hotel then a hotel for tourist.To busy with a hectic lobby which was not really lobby just more of and open space.

That said, the traffic slows for pedestrians in crosswalks and average speed is not high.

Food served in the evening in the restaurant was from a limited menu and in my opinion just average really.

Staff was friendly and made every effort to be helpful.

The women who work in the restaurant are all very friendly.

However the staff was friendly and I was upgraded into a Privilege room.

The bathroom is immaculately clean, well ventilated, with fabulous lighting, plenty of clean fluffy towels and nice toiletries and thumbs up for the environmentally friendly packaging of the toiletries.

We were here for 7 days as two tourists, really we were satisfied to be there, great location at the city centre, clean rooms, helpful and nice staff, delicious meals, I can say truly it is a best option for performance/budget balance.

We had a very good visit to this hotel, its location is very central to public transport and walking distance to some beautiful areas.

Definitely will come back for longer stay, especially that hotel is located just 5 min walking from train station, and close to old town.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Krakow, also for shopping:) Train station is right across the road, which makes it way easier if you're having connections.

Each staff were absolutely brilliant and helped us with directions etc.. when we arrived the woman (can’t remember her name) gave us a list of places to visit during our stay and explained to us how to get to each location either walk or tram.

I must say it gives  nice, modern and chic vibe upon entrance - the smell and the music!

This is a modern and nicely designed Mercure hotel next to the city center and next to a huge shopping mall.

Its location is a big plus, 8min walk to main square and old town, directly across the road from an excellent shopping centre (if one wants some retail therapy) and the train station.

however, i felt that the services need to  be improved; breakfast selection is poor and restaurant don't provide lunch or dinner.

The Staff in the reception was very Friendly.But in the bar/ restaurant the staff was rude and gave a very poor service.

After a week of poor hotel service in the UK on the same trip, the Polish team at Mercure Krakow demonstrated what service really meant.

the kettle had tee and instant cofee sockets

the free wifi was poor, with too many interruptions

the towels were really bad.

Bathroom  - very poor shower pressure - really big problem - not possible to wash hair.

The TV had a very poor choice in TV channels, and the only English channel was (bizarrely) France 24 News.

The television had poor channels and the nose system didn’t connect properly.

but also poor speed in what was like a business center.

Great bathroom the only down side was the poor quality toilet paper.

The bed sheet is not big enough for the bed and falls about 4 to 6 inches short of covering it, really poor choice on their part.

but the old town is close by walk the hotel has a very good restaurant and bar, the room was comfortable, I would really stay here again.

I enjoyed eating and working at the same time in the lobby!

We ate in the restaurant, i had the most amazing salmon and wine.

I imagined the dogs hair falling on the food.

When he discovered we are "foodies," the next day he typed a recipe for his family garlic soup for me.

There is so much variety that you can’t get bored and have something different to eat everyday.

It was an outstanding experience due to high quality interior designs, delicious fresh food and the employees who were extremely helpfull and polite.

Nice traditional Polish food in the restaurant downstairs, good choice of alcohol.

Dinner in the hotel was also excellent and they had many local offerings.

Superb breakfast, helpful staff, nice rooms, everything clean, great restaurant (even the Salmon was good).

Lot of  nice restaurants in walking distance.

The staff can not do enough for you they will help you book yourself, taxis and they even gave us restaurant recommendations in the area we wished.

Anton in the restaurant is fantastic with his customer service and made us feel totally at home.

There is also a restaurant in the hotel for those not wanting to leave the hotel for food.

We booked a bed and breakfast tariff and breakfast was very good with an ample choice of hot or cold food.

It means that when the light comes on in the bathroom, it automatically gets light in the room.

Lights in room are difficult to control only because of so many switches and different lighting configurations possible,

The master lighting control in the main room appears to randomly select a "scene" — a combination of various room lights.

although nice from a design point of view, is a bit problematic if two people share the room and during the night one goes to the bathroom – the full room gets light through the glass wall.

The room lighting is the coolest i have seen.

If I had to criticize anything it would be the glass wall to the bathroom in our room, which means if you should turn on the lights in the middle of the night the whole room will be lit as well.

The lighting system in the room was too high tech and at 3am I by mistake put all the lights on in the room when I just wanted the bathroom light.

although I wasn't a huge fan of the wall between the bathroom and the room itself as if someone is showering the bright light goes into the room and it made it impossible for the kids to sleep until the last person was out of the bathroom.

Staff were very helpful and we were very kindly upgraded to a privilege room.

The staff were fantastic, they arranged our airport transfer and gave us a map of the town, Gregory especially was fantastic and was always available for assistance.

Everyone who works here is always smiling and they are all very helpful.

Who made the stay at this hotel absolutely magnificent was Wito at the reception desk.

The staff from Reception to Dining ensured were very accommodating and have a good command of the English language,

The rooms themselves are beautifully decorated and clean, when we visited I was pregnant so had to go back early some nights to rest and I really enjoyed being in the room.

Our room looked into the courtyard, was a cross between modern and historic, spotlessly clean and comfortable and despite warm temperatures outside remained cool.

I would recommend asking for a lower floor if the stairs would be a problem for you.

However, next time I would request a lower floor, as we struggled to get the cases up and down.

Make sure you request the block with the lift or lower floor apartment if you have accessibility needs as not all the blocks have lifts.

I would only say that there were a lot of steps and so if you are travelling with children or elderly ask for a lower floor apartment.

but unfortunately on the 4th floor, and no lift in our block - worthwhile requesting a lower floor if you don’t like the hike!

We were on the 5th floor and as there is no lift (10 flights of stairs), if you are not pretty fit, make sure you book one of the lower floors.

If you aren't good with stairs request lower level.

however in apartment block so would advise getting in touch with hotel directly if you require lower floor

but if you have difficulties walking, you may need to request an apartment situated in one of the lower floors.

If you are older or with disabilities request room in lower floors as there is no elevator.

The stairs are hard work, so if you struggle ask for an apartment on a lower level.

The very charming receptionist did advise that had we booked direct with the hotel we would have been on lower floors.

Whan I asked to have an appartament in a lower floor becuase of senior parents, I was declined.

If you don't like walking up stairs, make sure your room is either on one of the lower floors alternatively the front block facing the main road has a  lovely old fashioned elevator.

but if older or mobility issue ask for lower floor (also ask for renovated appt  as not all as nice)

however being woken up at 1am with music from the nightclub which backs onto the appartments and which was still going at 7.45am in the morning.

but this didn’t stop us being woken up in the early hours of the morning by extremely loud singing one night and loud music on another.

but I'm not one of those tourists who thinks this is a reason to complain, we usually just put on a music channel.

Finally music stopped and I got to sleep about 2am.

Unfortunately for any guests this bar seems to be very popular and with that came the music and usual racket.

The gate to the stairway and lift was opened and banged shut at all hours of the day and night and if that wasn't enough, a cafe/bar was directly under the apartment and we heard chairs being moved most of the night and on our final night, music was playing until around 4am in the morning then they started to set up for breakfast around 6am.

However, the bars below play loud music until well into the morning (nearly 5am.

Due to the location, busy square outside the buliding, we could hear loud music at night until 4-5 am from the clubs.

It's our first night here and I'm writing this at 04.15 in the morning because I can't sleep because of the constant LOUD music.

We could hear the music from the nearby bar at night, and the shower kept going cold.

Our room was directly above a bar that played loud music until  at least 4am which stopped us leaving our windows open at night.

We phoned at 3am and the music was turned down-

There was nothing that I didn't love about this place.Antique Apartments arranged airport pick up at 85z they were waiting for us with a sign in arrivals and the transfer was great.Check in was quick and efficient.We stayed in Apartment 42a which is the beautiful apartment on the website with the mezzanine floor overlooking the square where the fountains dance every evening to an assortment of classical music with light show (free!

If you do not mind loud rock music booming up from the floor every night until six AM from a bar below, loud drunks singing and yelling outside your bedroom window and then stepping over the piles of vomit they leave on the sidewalk, the Antique Apartments is the place for you.

but only one English Channel in the TV BBC World News - not that you want to watch TV but either a music or sports channel would have been nice.

Also, the apartment we stayed in had a nightclub in the basement below, it's loud and most nights the music goes on into the small hours.

Considering they play loud thumping music till the early hours you'd expect them to look after the few guests who'd want to use his bar  ..I'm sure there are better places to stay 
The rooms here are ok

but we were frequently wakened in the early hours by revellers returning from a night out and continuing their party in the courtyard below.

On our final day a new set of workmen started renovating one of the vacant apartments with loud machinery Also, the internet connection in this area was very poor and at one point was not accessible for 36 hours,and the card  number in the satellite tv box did not match the number required on the television screen so we were stuck with terrestrial Polish tv.

I complained after hardly any sleep on the second night due to a "party" in the next door building".

Ours opened into the courtyard and the noise that echoed from others mostly smoking, chatting, and laughing was ridiculously loud where we could not sleep with the windows open.

Maybe should have done after first loud night.

As we went in August and it was around 30 degrees every day, using the 2 fans provided and opening all the windows still wasn’t cool enough and also meant we could hear all of the parties in other rooms (specifically a stag do who had some ladies round on our first night)

They should tell you about this nightclub on website.

Most annoying was the bass sound which always seems to carry through any building.

but told us they had 4 stag parties staying at that time.

Though there are signs asking guests to remain quiet when returning at night, there's only so much you can do via signage to warn drunk people, eh.

Unfortunately we were rudely awoken at around 07:30am by extremely loud banging and the sound of people walking around on the roof directly above our room for over an hour, a guy was even stood on our balcony at one point.

Our room was beautifully furnished and the beds were amazingly comfortable, however the floorboards in rooms were increasingly loud and between 5 of us we only had 1 bathroom,

Because there was no air conditioner, we had our windows open and it was loud, loud, loud.

We had a fab stay in the apartment minus the last two mornings where we were woken around 7am by ridiculously loud drilling and hammering at the other side of the wall which the bed is next to – not ideal at the best of times never mind when you have been out late the night before.

Cafe next door scandale royal is excellent.

Lots of bars and restaurants in walking distance.

The cocktails were amazing, my personal favourite was - From Scandale with Love.

They are situated on a square, which is very pretty and has a few convience shops, bars and restaurants in it.

not far from the main square and a fab selection of restaurants, cafes and bars on the doorstep.

Two doors down is a small convenience store and it is only 5 mins walk from the main square which has some lovely bars and restaurants around.

Value for money we booked through easyJet  , great location walkable to main square which is 2 minutes away, close to shops , bars and restaurants and an easy walk to the train station and tram stops too.

The apartments are perfectly located less than a 5 mins walk from the main square so you are handy for all of the bars and restaurants, and the shopping centre is approximately a 10 min walk away.

Lovely comfortable apartment with all amenities I could need adjacent bar and restaurant very friendly.

This apartment had everything we need for 5 of us, 2 minutes walk to the main square where there were plenty of bars and restaurants suitable for all kinds of ages.

A stunning clean and well-maintained place to stay with extremely helpful staff the Antique Apartments are situated near Kraków historic Old Town with many bars and restaurants along with the main square just a short walk away highly recommended!

but the apartment was lovely and warm, clean, well equipped, had a large living/kitchen area, large comfortable bed, huge bathroom, very good value for money, in a fantastic location for sightseeing, lots of bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away.

A 30 second walk if that, to the main square by all the restaurants and bars.

Also, try the resto-bar Scandale Royal, which serves beutiful cocktails and super tasty food!

The apartment was very clean and had a wonderful location, very close to the square and many shops and restaurants.

If you don't want to cook then very many restaurants for you to chose from. Enjoy

Apartment had excellent location almost on the Main Square where is lots of restaurants, pubs and shops.

Can recommend the Italian Pino just down the road and the Polish restaurant just across the square.

Plenty of good restaurants  and bars close by.

Only downside was room was very small, we had requested a room with a double bed which we ended up having two singles, the flights of stairs up the room are an absolute nightmare!
