The noise of the lift was at times a bit intrusive.

Some especially fascinating details: the lift was always ready to lift you up from downstairs and the lift door was open.

even though our room was not next to the staircase or elevator.

The staff were very friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay.

The hotel was perfectly located between the Old Town and Jewish Quarter and the room was comfortable, modern and clean.

The Metropolitan appears to have been refurbished relatively recently in a clean modern style and is excellently appointed and very well maintained.

The hotel staff cannot do enough for you, the rooms are spotless and modern, and the breakfast has lots of choice and even catered for gluten free.

The hotel itself is wonderful, the staff are friendly, rooms are clean and spacious and the bar restaurant area is very nice as well.

The hotel bar and restaurant is equally as lovely with lots of choice.

In terms of location the restaurant is about ten to fifteen minute walk from wavelength castle and the main square and about five minutes from restaurants and bars in the Jewish quarter.

Had a meal in hotel bar 2 nights and food was excellent, staff were also excellent.

but not in a room over the bar and restaurant area, if you are offered a room in this area and you like a late night and a early morning,enjoy.

The staff were very helpful and, when we first arrived, the girls on reception gave us some good touring tips and a decent city map.

Had a very warm welcome from the staff, who were all helpful and professorial throughout our stay.

It was beyond uncomfortable and i'm glad we stayed there for only one night.

Negatives:- - We found the bed uncomfortable as mattress was far too firm.

We only had one fault (which isn't enough to lower our rating of 5 stars) and that is that the room was very warm which made sleeping a little bit uncomfortable.

but for the hour we were in there, we felt uncomfortable over an issue with the ‘room offer’.

My wife did complain about the hairdryer in the room and said it was uncomfortable to use - as most hotels the

Walls are very thin, on our first bight it took me very long to fall asleep and I could hear our neighbour snoring.

The walls are so thin so can hear everything from other rooms which is quite disruptive to sleep.

Arriving at the hotel you are greeted with a rather run down street with graffiti over the walls etc and a few drunks loitering about the end of the street.

Outside area has walls with graffiti on them and doesn’t help the look of the hotel

The only slight negative from the wife’s point of view was the hairdryer in the bathroom is one of the built in to the wall types.

There was a tv on the wall and small table opposite the bed.

however our room was situated next to the stairwell and every time someone walked up or down it sounded like a hammer on the wall.

Stayed in the Queen Boutique Hotel for 4 nights and had a really great experience, the staff are so friendly and couldn't do more to make you feel welcome.

The personnel is extremely friendly, helpful and they speak English very well.

The restaurant downstairs was a wonderful Michelin dining experience with very friendly staff.

The only exception to this was the strange night light in our room we couldn't override!

on our last day we asked someone to come up to the room due to having problems with our bathroom light (bathrooms do not have windows) they came and fixed the problem

Lighting in the bedroom was very dark, my wife really struggled with her make up.

The ‘spa’ wasn’t much as was just a sauna and some treatments available.

The hotel arranged spa treatments for us which were great

We used the Spa for a Massage on one occasion & that was perfect after walking many miles around Krakow that day.

The spa treatments were fantastic, and a great way to start our holiday.

Spa is OK. Would stay here again when in Krakow. Recommended.

The spa retreat is amazing and they are highly trained at what they do.

My wife attended the Spa and was highly impressed.

There is a sauna for use of guests (spa treatments extra) which was well maintained and a great way to relax for an hour or so.

The hotel had a spa and you and book the use of the sauna for free after a busy day of site seeing.

Would definitely recommend the spa for a massage.

but the breakfast was excellent and we also thoroughly enjoyed our treatments in the spa.

Nothing was too much trouble for the guys on reception, they even booked our trips to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines for us, arranging transportation, tickets, the lot.

During the night the black out curtains provided total darkness.

Small room, no window view, without personality, no parking, good position in between old Town and Jewish district

It was snowing outside and we had to crack open the windows to get the temperature down to 72F/22C to 75F/24C.

I opened the window before going to bed every night for a short time.

Aptly named because of the 4 skylight windows, which had electric blinds.

They told us that the windows were "soundproofed"

but we did not mention this to front desk and just opened the window occasionally.

but the unit above the door was controlled else where, not too much of an issue but the window wouldn't open on the ajar setting.

Staff was friendly and made every effort to be helpful.

The women who work in the restaurant are all very friendly.

However the staff was friendly and I was upgraded into a Privilege room.

The bathroom is immaculately clean, well ventilated, with fabulous lighting, plenty of clean fluffy towels and nice toiletries and thumbs up for the environmentally friendly packaging of the toiletries.

Beautiful historical hotel, very modern, clean, big rooms, lovely kind, and friendly service.

On checkout Greg very helpful and friendly and even looked after our suitcases before our late flight home we would 100% recommend this hotel to anybody travelling to Krakow, tram stop right outside with a taxi rank and also the train station with a huge shopping mall too!
